Musashi was tired, over worked and underpaid, which most people could probably attest to. Fortunately for Musashi, his family brought him joy and with having only one more day until the next big change, school. Indeed with the long Summer officially just about over, now was the time for a fresh start, school lunches, science fair projects and kunai in randomly discarded places. He'd have to go from the dad that always had time for a bedtime story to a father that would have to help with homework and mental wreck when his children went out on their first missions. That would prove to be the hardest test, learning to let go, but nothing could go any further unless he actually managed to solve the issue of safety for his family.
Too often, far, far , far too often, he'd find illegal poachers encroaching upon his home thinking that it was just some abandoned cabin in the mountains. True, the Spine of the World was large, but he wasn't keen on the hunting types to be able to so freely do as they wished without recourse. The fact of the matter was that the Royal Kumogakurian Mounted Police were crap for quickly fixing the problems that arose. There were too many close calls, too many times that his children had stumbled upon some neck-beard type stumbling through the snow and toting a musket. Nope, no more, not again. If the Mounties weren't going to fix the problem then clearly it was time for a change in the structure of things. If he didn't do it then one day, somebody would get hurt and then there would be a long trail of . . . Which brought him to the other fact of the matter which were the gates that led to the village.
The request was simple, and Musashi had taken the time to type up and send the Raikage a formal request way ahead of time in order to not catch the man off guard. Money wasn't an issue, and neither was logistics behind it all. If Musashi had been able to lead armies in both the Fire and the Earth countries then whipping into shape a bunch of gate guarding guys and gals couldn't be too hard. Besides, Rei was no slouch herself as she'd also led equally competent armies. A few signatures, a wire transfer or two, and he could legally make the D.T.P. great again more respected! Musashi may have had to deal with private property woes at home in the mountains but the gates were far more important. One missed threat, one nefarious agent sneaking in their best bud and the entire house of cards would fall. The first and best offense, was a good defense, and by establishing this new role, Ayumu could allow himself to live a long time. So there he sat, twiddling his thumbs and mentally checking off all of the school supplies that he needed for the triplets. Did they use number two or number three pencils? Heck, was calligraphy required? Was there a school uniform involved? Shaking his head, he stopped short of driving himself insane. Ayumu had a kid, he'd ask him about it.

OOC #3: Concerning the Archduchy of Draco, my main goal is to establish a sort of gate task force for when Umashi goes back to being an NPC, so that anybody on council can just pre-create an NPC and claim "Knight of Draco", etc and just handle a gate thread in the event that there's nobody available to handle such request.
