Akemi was walking throughout the valley by herself. She often found herself alone most days. Not that she was a lonely person or had no friends but because she quite enjoyed alone time with herself and her thoughts. She was always thinking of how she could be better and get stronger. After all everyone she told her true goals to expected her not to reach them. Her goals were set extremely high and for the most part seemed as if they would never happen. However that would never stop her from trying to become the best Shinobi she could become and she would challenge any who stood in the way of her dream. Of course she had morals and wouldn't just attack a friend or fellow classmate just because they stood in the way of her dream.
She seemed to be impressing those she met with her answers to all of their questions but that's all it seemed to be was questions. One after another people seemed to always ask the same type of questions never seeing her abilities. She could only hope that the way she spoke and the way her answers impressed these people that her abilities would be more impressive to them than even her words were. Walking through the valley calmed her down a bit with the wind blowing her hair ever so slightly to the right as she walked in a straight line making sure not to fall and trip on the loose rocks here and there on the floor around her.
Stopping for a brief moment the girl closed her eyes and took a deep breath breathing the smell of sand, dead animals, and many other things that were not so nice to smell. However the sand seemed to be the strongest smell so it wasn't so bad after all. Exhaling and opening her eyes she smiled and looked at the fork in the valley she had come to deciding that she would keep going straight rather than confuse herself and go in a bunch of different directions and potentially get lost instead. Continuing forward in her path she grew a smile at the sign of a few plants up ahead or what she assumed was plants as they stuck out like a sore thumb from being green compared to the rest of the valley, which was covered in reddish brown sand and rocks that varied in all shapes and sizes along with various colors as well.
As Akemi approached the two little green dots in the distance she noticed that they were indeed plants which were odd as this place was generally quite barren of plants and things of the like. They still looked as if they were in very bad shape however and would die relatively soon which wasn't surprising given the climate of the area. She wondered how exactly they had even managed to survive long enough to grow out of the ground as much as they did given the lack of precipitation of any kind in this particular valley.
