Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Yasu walked around the Clan neighborhood he had no business being in. It has to be around here right!? I mean you have tried seven hoses already... Maybe call it a day. Well that's no good. Yasu turned and walked up the path to the door of the mansion. You know the saying. Eighths time the charm. Yasu knocked on the door and stood patiently for anyone to show up. The door swung open and Yasu quickly opened the piece of paper he had in his hand. "Can I help you!?" In front of Yasu stood a Shinobi who had an attitude right from the get go. Appearing to be getting up from a nap, with hair everywhere and clothes a mess. Yasu looked at his paper and spoke. "Hello Sir and or Mam." Yasu peaked up from his script. "Im going to check unsure." The young woman grabbed Yasu by the shirt. "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN BY UNSURE!?" Yasu still trying to read while being shaken. "I woULD jusT LIKe to KNow If thiS is WHere SOrA LIves."
The Women stopped shaking Yasu, dropped Yasu on the floor and smirked. "Wait... Are You that kid that says you're Soras nemesis?" Yasu stood back up and stood proudly "I don't just say it! I live it! He is my rival! However he has been in a sour mood lately and Im here to change that! I cant have a nemesis that is all mopey! I need him at the top of his game." She stepped back and gestured into the house. "Oh please come right in. I have herd stories about you. Im sure he would lllooovvveeee to see you right now. His room is up the stairs and is the fourth room on the right."
Yasu walked inside as the women started to laugh. What a nice lady. Yasu walked to Soras door and stood still, frozen. What are you doing? Just go in, or knock. I don't know! I have never ben to a friends house before now that I think about it. I diffidently shouldn't just walk in, but... how hard do I knock? What the hell kind of question is that!? Just knock! Well to hard will imply urgency and this isn't that urgent. To soft he wont hear it... Yasu slowly lifted both of his arms and began to poke the door and hard and as fast as he could. I will just mix both. that will do it.

Sora was meditating, legs crossed, back straight, facing the window. His bandages were on, covering his eyes, but here he was, seeing. He'd been practicing a new combo jutsu for surveillance purposes, and was finally getting the hang of it. A deep breath, and Sora could see the soundwaves in the air because of his bloodline abilities (Sonar). A few seconds after getting accustomed to knowing exactly where his bonsai was and which direction it was growing based on the sound its little leaves were making, Sora formed a single centered handseal, casting a basic jutsu that amplified his vision, allowing him to almost literally see the entirety of his room, and everything in it (Eagle Vision). Sora was starting to practice on his ability to focus this way while moving, slowly rotating and doing sit-ups, when suddenly a continuous rapping filled his ears and assaulted his concentration. "Sachi, I think your cat got out again!" Sora yelled down the hall, but the rapid tapping continued. Finally after a few minutes, Sora, irritated beyond belief, got up and walked to the door. "Sachiko, I swear, I'm gonna cook your cat this time!" Sora swung the doown open and started to bend down to pickup the cat, but as the door opened, Sora registered the chakra, and, still being his his enhanced vision state, saw the chakra of a person he recognized.

Unfortunately, he sensed it as he was bending down to pick up a cat, and the vigorous poking of Yasu continued on his face for a moment. In a fraction of a second, millions of thoughts filled Sora's head. One, why haven't I moved yet...Scared to answer, moving on. Two, who let Yasu in his house. Dad's away on a mission, and Mom would have turned him away at the door. Sachiko is too scared of older boys, and Kasumi wouldn't have gotten up from her reading if she didn't have to. Yasu's a boy, even though a little eccentric, So Kimiko would've tried to keep him to herself if possible, which only left... Sora quickly backed away from the onslaught of finger jabs and yelled violently through the house, "Goddammit, Akane!!" Taking a breath to center himself, and regain his composure and full concentration, Sora suddenly noticed something else about Yasu he hadn't noticed before; A second chakra. If Yasu was one, it was probably the smaller, more light blue energy the radiated around his frame, whereas the other chakra, a vibrant purple, was bigger, stronger, and more reactive; more violent. What the hell? Sora stepped aside, "Get in here, quick."

Yasu...For the love of all that is good, please stop. Yasus arms grew tired and he began to break out in a sweat. Honestly I don't know if I can at this point... I have been doing it so long I don't think I can The door swung open and Sora bent over. Yasu began to poke Sora in the face with the ferocity of a thousand suns. OH GOD NO! STOP! BODY STOP! Yasu somehow managed to stop his arms and stood awkwardly. Sora was lost in thought and Yasu feared the worst. Is he mad? I would be mad. I might die. Sora yelled to the heavens then gestured into his room.
"Get in here, quick."
Yasu walked into Soras room. It was really clean, almost to clean for Yasus taste. "Alright, you have been all down in the dumps and I cant have that. I need you in tip top performance." Yasu turned around and noticed the bandages on Soras face. Yasu was taken back. "Did... Did... DID YOU GET YOUR EYES REMOVED! I can almost guarantee that's not what he did. Yasu ran up and grabbed Sora by his arms. "I know you didn't like your glasses man but this is a bit extreme! How are we going to fight now!" Yasu fell to his knees still grasping at Soras clothes. "Why is this life so cruel!" Wait. Yasu calmed down and stood up. "IF you cant see how did you open the door? He lives here you boob. Its HIS room. True... "And how did you know it was me? You wouldn't of invited your sisters into your room so easily. So you had to know I wasn't your sister before I even said anything." That's...That's actually a good point. "Ya! chances are you argue with your sisters all the time, I know I do with my brother. SO you had to have known I was someone else!" Their is a slight chance you have a smell about you. Oh god I hope that's not true.

Yasu immediately went into a tirade about how he needed Sora to quit moping and being depressed, to which Sora gave a flat expression. "Dude, I'm-" Instantly interrupted. Goddammit, Yasu! It finally occurred to his friend after easily a solid minute of being here, that Sora had bandages on his face. However, Yasu jumped immediately to the most extreme possibility; he removed his own eyes. Sora watched as the second chakra signature seemed... exasperated by Yasu's proclamation, to the point that it. Did it just move independently?! "Yasu, listen, I'm-" Second interruption. "Stop doing that!" Then the question registered in Sora's mind.
"IF you cant see how did you open the door? And how did you know it was me? You wouldn't of invited your sisters into your room so easily. So you had to know I wasn't your sister before I even said anything."

Shit.. Sora had almost forgotten he was blind, thanks to his combination of Sonar and Eagle Vision. Now, the one thing he still was hesitant to discuss with anyone, was now in the forefront of the conversation. With his best friend, nonetheless. Sora sighed, turning his head sheepishly. Again, the more volatile chakra reacted seperately to Yasu's actions, something Sora could "see", even without looking directly at Yasu. Sora saw an opportunity arise. Looking up at the wall infront of him, Yasu standing to his right, Sora spoke confidently. "Fine, I'll tell you, on two conditions. First and formost, I need you to throw your best punch at me, right now, no holding back." Sora stuck one hand out to the side towards Yasu, the other, center of his chest. Both hands faced palm up, with his fingers in a grasping position, like he held two balls of energy, one in each hand (Furuuken Stance). As a slight hum could be heard in the room, like a faint ringing in your ears, Sora tucked his head down, still facing the wall, saying with a smirk, "Second. You're gonna tell me who's with you. Your chakra isn't alone."

Yasu could tell his question had thrown Sora off. He is hiding something. I mean ya, but its kinda also none of our business. Sora responded suddenly.
Fine, I'll tell you, on two conditions. First and formost, I need you to throw your best punch at me, right now, no holding back."
Yasu was taken back by the request. What!? I cant! He knows that. Why would he want me to His thoughts were cut short by Soras second request.
"Second. You're gonna tell me who's with you. Your chakra isn't alone."
He can sense me!? Yasu lowered his head. His eyes welled up with tears. "Normally you know I would never agree to that request..." Yasu looking up, tears running down his face, and a slight smirk. "However you just gave me confirmation that I'm not crazy." Wellllll... Not now. Having a moment. Drying his tears. "Alright. Not holding back." Yasu smirked. Is what your thinking allowed? He said no holding back. You sure yo are up for this? You know the plan? Ya, lets see if this works. alright, I will cast the Genjutsu and will hand control over to you. All you have to do is aim. That way I can have full focus on what I'm doing and be ready to counter if needed. Yasu crouched and then lunged at Sora. Now. (Stun). Hes distracted! Switch! Yasu then swung a simple punch aiming for Soras face. (Untruth) Or so it appeared. Hibiki was suddenly in control of the illusion and was the one throwing the punch. In reality Yasu swung at his stomach. How dose it feel to be a ninja Hibiki?

He is crazy... "Then bring it." Sora sensed the chakra all around him as easily as one sees the world; better ever. He heard Yasu's breath as he crouched down, heard his joints respond, and tendons tighten. He could even sense the cloth around his body, folding and rippling in the air, giving Sora a perfect image and shape to the chakra beside him. Holding his stance, Sora saw one of the chakra signatures pull a hand forward for a seal, only to feel like a sudden snap had occurred in the back of his mind. it wasn't strong, but it was enough that Sora noticed the effect as Yasu lunged forward. You'll see I'm still a valid rival. Sora thought, quickly casting Cancel and turning to physically face his opponent. Upon using the Genjutsu breaker, Sora discovered that not one, but two illusions had been cast, and now he was stuck, as both chakra signatures attacked from different angles; one punching up, towards his head, the other aiming for his gut. Check.

Sora mind raced through the scene before him in lightning speed. Ok, I still have no idea which energy is actually Yasu's. He seems like the kind of guy that would aim low, for maximum force, with minimum damage, but I also said go all out, so he might be the one aiming at my head. Yasu's fist closed the gap rapidly, sowing that the orphan defender wasn't all talk, but had decent momentum behind his hits. Ok, guess I'll have to just assume that they're both him, and see what happens. While leaning away from the punch, Sora kicked of the ground, in a quick spinning flip that put him completely sideways to Yasu. It was a vulnerable position, but this was a one punch agreement, so all he had to do was dodge and deflect the one, possibly two, attacks. Mid-spin, Sora flat palm punched out at both arms, connecting with one, and phasing through the other, vibrating the chakra waves in both, but since the force was pulled, not breaking anything in the physical one.

Landing on all fours, panting a little from exerting so much energy in the spin, Sora smirked. "Am I still a good enough rival for you?" Standing up , Sora continued. "I'm blind because of a bloodline defect, but I can see chakra, and the world around me through soundwaves. for instance, you're digesting right now. You probably just came from ramen or something." Walking over to the door to his bedroom, Sora locked it, just to be sure no one would intrude. "I can also hear your heartbeat, and could tell you were excited when I acknowledged the other person sharing your space. Who is it?"

Yasu lunged forward for his attack. Sora, to Yasus surprise, jumped and spun in the air avoiding his blows. He saw right through it!? I can see that! Sora then shot his hands out mid rotation to push away both attacks. So, he could see through my illusion but couldn't determine which one was real. Sora landed safely, smiling as he spoke.
"Am I still a good enough rival for you?"
Yasu still in amazement by Soras abilities, Sora walked over to the door and locked it.
I'm blind because of a bloodline defect, but I can see chakra, and the world around me through soundwaves. for instance, you're digesting right now. You probably just came from ramen or something. I can also hear your heartbeat, and could tell you were excited when I acknowledged the other person sharing your space. Who is it?"
Yasu looked down at his feet and thought back. "That's why you asked Mekasa Sensei about chakra having negative effects on people. Your chakra took your sight away the stronger it got!" Yasu plopped himself down on the floor. "Man... My problems aren't so bad." Yasu sat back and relaxed himself. We going to address the fact he was right about the Ramen? Absolutely not. "Not only are you still a worthy nemesis you just might be the perfect nemesis. My chakra did something to be too. My body heals significantly slower, probably because technically I'm half dead." Yasu shrugged. "Meh, whos to say. As for the second chakra... re...remember when I mentioned my dead brother? Its...kinda him. You're doing great at explaining this. I hate you so much. "When you went fully blind did something big happen right before? You see my ability rose when I watched my whole family die in front of me. Are you smiling right now!? I NEED YOU TO SHUT UP! IM HAPPY RIGHT NOW BECAUSE I GET TO OPEN UP TO SOMEONE WHO ISNT IN MY HEAD! I CNAT CONTROL THE SLIGHT SMILE! I mean...Ya...but still.
"Something happened that night, and Hibiki has been in my head ever since. I have actually have you to thank for it Sora. Remember our first fight? When you used that Genjutsu on me? Well it didn't effect me, I hit Hibiki. At that point I knew that our minds had to be separate, meaning he was the real deal. That's when I really started getting the full affects of my powers. Like that giant hammer I accidently made in class, or phasing over into limbo. Yasu leaned forward with excitement. "Sorry, just threw a lot at you. What can you do? Its crazy you can see me still at all....WAIT! Yasu held his hands up in Soras face. "HOW MANY FINGERS AM I HOLDING UP!?"

"...probably because technically I'm half dead."

Sora blinked, emotionless, "I'm sorry, you're what?"
"As for the second chakra... re...remember when I mentioned my dead brother? Its...kinda him."

Too much information started overloading Sora's brain. "No, H-Hold on, what do you-"
"...or phasing over into limbo."

"Stop interrupting, dammit! What do you mean by-"
"What can you do? Its crazy you can see me still at all....WAIT! HOW MANY FINGERS AM I HOLDING UP!?"

Sora stood in silence for a few seconds, irritated, but flatly so. He started blankly into Yasu through the bandages. "Seriously? the finger thing? What are you, seven?" Sora walked over to his desk and sat in the chair, staring at the wall in front of him. He smirked, "And the answer is two, unless you purposefully folded your thumb on your hand hanging to your side, in which case the answer would be six." He knew the answer would amuse Yasu immensely, so before he could talk, Sora spoke up with his inquiries. "As for something that triggered my abilities, they started to manifest when I started training in chakra control, but violently intensified when I tried using a jutsu beyond my chakra limit. Turns out I expended all my chakra tied to one bloodline, and the other one took control." Even though Yasu couldn't directly see it, Sora narrowed his eyes, and scowled.

"Ok, so you're not completely alive then? Did that happen when your family was killed as well, or a separate incident? Also, how do you half-die? and on top of that, What the hell do you mean by phasing in to 'Limbo'? because that would mean you could see the afterlife, which is cool, but what the hell!?" Sora panted taking a breath from his miniature tirade to compose himself. "Everything alright, son?" Sora didn't realize he had raised his voice and was yelling a little as his questioning advanced. "Everything's fine, Dad. Sorry for yelling." Sora shouted through the closed door. To his knowledge, only Akane knew that Yasu was here, but even that wouldn't last too long. Sora sighed heavily and looked directly at Yasu.

"Explain. Now."

Yasu finished his explanation only to find that he only left Sora with more questions. He still looks confused. Well ya! How are you even surprised? You glanced over key topics and gave him no real information! What? You sure? Well I don't know what specifics he wants to know!
Ok, so you're not completely alive then? Did that happen when your family was killed as well, or a separate incident? Explain. Now."
Oh...Those... "Well...Its kind of complicated. I'm alive, but I can do dead people things? I did some reading in the library and the closest thing I could find to something like this is something called a Ghost Walker. Its like a Clan that has been gone for centuries. My powers first manifested when..." Yasu paused, took a deep breath, then continued. "That night...I watched everyone I loved die... I guess the reason the old Ghost Walker clan died out was because in order for the powers to activate you would have to experience death. Whether it be someone you held dear or even your own. In my reading it was common for members to kill themselves in an attempt to unlock their power. With only a few actually succeeding its no wonder the clan died out. I released my power way to young, and because of that it needed more chakra so I guess you can say my chakra grabbed Hibikis soul before it could move on. " Meh, I don't mind. This is all more exciting. "After that guess it kept me alive as i walked all the way to the Leaf. I fought my power after that everyday. I could hear whispers from Hibiki but I thought I was just crazy you know? My powers make the line between death almost nonexistent. That being said I can kind of go into this weird state that I just call limbo. Its where I leave my physical body and can hang out with Hibiki. Its rough on my chakra and I cant do it long but its still useful. It wasn't until after my first fight with you actually that I started to explore my powers. You erased my doubt. Wait... Like you just did again... I have absolutely no doubt now..."
Yasu looked at Sora. I wonder... This is a really bad idea. "This will be weird." Yasu reached out and put his hand Soras forehead and pulled them both into his Limbo state.
"How do you feel? I broke my hand awhile back and when I came here my hand was fine. How are your eyes? Can you see?"

Sora listened carefully to every word, drawn in emotion, as Yasu told him about the experience that changed his life forever. His heartbeat, tone and pitch, even the minor movements of his body, all revealing more than he was probably meaning to, and Sora was focused. Yasu said he was a Ghost Walker, as in someone who could see "the other side", and depending on control, travel there, and that it was a dead bloodline, No pun intended, existing on the cusp of extinction from the beginning. He also elaborated on how the more magenta colored chakra was his brother, Hibiki's, and he was bound to him because of the bloodline. Sora waved. "Hey, Hibiki, nice to-"
"This will be weird."

Sora was confused. What'll be weird? Instantly, However, his mental inquiry was answered, as Yasu "bopped" Sora on the forehead, making him stagger backwards, grabbing his face. "What the hell?!" Sora shouted, clearly frustrated. He looked up at Yasu, fuming. "How do I feel?! Freaking irritated, that's how I-" He stopped. He could SEE Yasu, more clearly than he could remember ever seeing him, As well as an older boy standing beside him, dressed in farming clothes. Sora noticed that his room now appeared different as well, like it was somehow the same, but also wider, and more spaced out, with a strange murkiness to the edges of everything, like ink bleeding from parchment sheets. Milliseconds of micro-thoughts flashed through his mind, a perk of being part of a distant branch of the Nara, as Sora analyzed what e knew, to the most logical, and the most possible scenarios. "I guess... that's Hibiki, then?"
"...How are your eyes? Can you see?"

Sora stammered for a moment. "I... yea, I'm good. I see you... it's kinda weird... you call this 'Limbo'? It's weirdly beautiful, in a dark kinda... wait... you actually know what a Library is?" Even Sora wasn't sure why that had escaped him till now.

"Yup this is limbo, pretty cool right? I come here to think sometimes. Time is different here. We can be here for a hours but in real life its only minutes." Yasu attempted to stand up but fell immediately back down. "Well...Maybe not hours. Bringing you over took a lot out of me." Hibiki shrugged behind Yasu and began to help him up. "Honestly I didn't even expect this to work." "Well i feel like I can now use all of my power. I didn't realize how much self-doubt would effect my abili...WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN DO I ACTULAY KNOW WHAT A LIBRARY IS!?" Yasu struggled to point at Sora. "You listen here bub I actually go to the library all the time thank you very much! Got to train that mind so I can resist Genjutsu. I'm a smart guy you turd! I pass just as many classes as you do!
Hibiki dropped Yasu on the floor. "Haha WAIT WAIT WAIT! Sora now that you are here remember that class you all took where it explained the branches!? Well I had the funniest thought about if Yasu became a Diplomat! Ok so picture he goes to the hidden." Yasu jumped up and tackled Hibiki. "OH you think you are funny do you!? "What the hell I thought you were exhausted!?" "I'm never to exhausted for this! It wasn't funny then and Its not funny now!" Yasu and Hibiki rolled on the floor for a solid 13 minutes. "AND SORA JUST SO YOU KNOW WHEN WE ARE IN CLASS, HAVING SOME LUNCH, OR JUST TALKING THIS SHIT IS HAPPENING IN MY HEAD ALL THE TIME!" "WELL MAYBE IF YOU WERNT A LITTLE BRAT!" "OH GO TO HELL!" WOW! DONT EVEN JOKE! I'M LIKE HALF WAY THERE! The fighting continued as Sora just stood in amazement of how similar the two brothers were.
The fighting slowly died out as Yasu got more and more exhausted. Taking a deep breath while laying on the floor. "Well...I'm calling it...Sorry Sora it wasn't very long, but I cant keep this up." Yasu faded and suddenly was gone. Sora however remained in Limbo. "Well he held it a lot longer then I thought." Hibiki stood up and stood in front of Sora. "Oh don't worry you can get back. Normally you would fade at the same time as Yasu, but now I'm the one keeping you here not Yasu. I... Sora I have a favor to ask you, and more importantly I need what I'm about to say to stay between us. Under no circumstances are you to tell Yasu. I'm, well not dying I guess... but I'm fading. Yasu told you how I'm here right? How his body needed my chakra to maintain his powers? Well... he's getting stronger...fast. You're helping him grow stronger and with every passing day I get weaker. His body just doesn't need me anymore. I thought I would have more time... but with your help he just brought someone else to the other side." Hibiki rubbed his heck "Yasu isn't going to let me go easily... But I'm going and even I cant stop it. He's going to need a good friend to help him when I'm gone... I ... I would tell him but... I don't want the last of out time together to be ruined by him freaking out... I know I'm asking a lot and believe me I know he can be a bit much sometimes, but he is going to need someone. I don't need your answer... Just think about it, and please don't say anything to Yasu." Hibiki clapped his hands and sent Sora back to his body.
Sora woke to himself being dragged on the floor by his foot to the window by Yasu. Yasu dropped Soras foot "Oh good you're awake and totally not dead!"

Sora watched as Yasu faded out of existense. Hope he's ok... he thought for a moment, however as time slowly passed, Sora realized something, and became increasingly irritated and worried. "Did he just leave me here?!" What the hell! Yasu, you idiot!
"Oh don't worry you can get back. Normally you would fade at the same time as Yasu, but now I'm the one keeping you here, not Yasu."

Sora sighed. "Dude, warn me." Sora may not be in a physical body, but it felt like his heart was going to jump out of his throat for a minute there. "So," He said flatly, "You obviously held me back for a reason? what's up?" As Hibiki explained the situation, Sora because more and more concerned. If he only has so much energy left, wasting it on me is a huge gamble... Sora could see the desperation in Hibiki's countenance as he pleaded with him to not tell Yasu just yet, but to slowly take his place as a brotherly figure. Sora was sure how to think of all of this new information, but remained quiet, taking it all in.
"Just think about it, and please don't say anything to Yasu."

As Sora's vision blurred and faded, he felt a strange pitching sensation, like falling in slow motion, followed by a snap of tension, and the warm feeling of ...being dragged across the floor? With his chakra slowly waking back up, his Sonar detected that Yasu was now dragging him towards the window. "Dude, what the hell?" He kicked to get Yasu to release his foot, and slowly stood up, brushing off his clothes.
"Oh good you're awake and totally not dead!"

Sora looked at him with an expression of morbid curiosity and general annoyance. "What the hell do you mean 'I'm totally not dead'? There was-" Sora paused for a fraction of a second, remembering Hibiki's words, "a delay, or something. Were you about to just dump my freaking body?! Where on the third floor, you ass!"

"What the hell do you mean 'I'm totally not dead?"
"Well I don't know! I have never done that before! So I wasn't sure when" Or if... "You were going to wake up! So logically if you didn't wake up I would have to take care of the evidence! IM NOT STUPID!"
"Were you about to just dump my freaking body?! Where on the third floor, you ass!"
"What? Its not like it matters. You were a dead person. Its not like its going to hurt. Dead people don't feel pain you dummy!" Alright I'm back! What I miss? "AND BESIDES! Its not like I'm going to wait for your crazy sister with the mega death grip come up here to see you dead! I'm the only suspect! NO! I would have to take you and hide you! THEN for the next 6 years write fake letters to them about how you ran away to breed badgers! ITS YOUR ONE TRUE CALLING!!!" ...You know what, nah. I'm just going to go. I... I just cant today with this." Yasu crawled out the window. "Besides its not even that fa" Yasu slipped and fell out the window landing on his face. He struggled to get up and find his footing. "Ya sEE? NoT to bAD at aLl!" Yasu attempted to wave but just threw his arm in the air for a second. "HOWEVER, on An unrElated nOTe I'm in a lOt of PaiN so I'm goINg to gO. Thanks For lETing Me cOME over, Until next TIMe my neMEsis!" Yasu limped away slowly.

One moment, Yasu and Hibiki's chakra was there, the next, Hibiki's arms and legs were flailing violently, trying to gain some semblance of control, as Yasu plummeted violently out the window and into what sounded like one of the rose bushes outside. Or maybe that's the begonias... Sora thought, wandering over and sticking his head out the window. "You alive down there?" Since he could clearly tell he wasn't dead, part of Sora, for a brief moment, hoped he was simply unconscious, and that he could get the gardener to remove him.
"Ya sEE? NoT to bAD at aLl!"

Dammit, he's responding. "Ok, let me come down and at least help you get home or something." Yasu announced his departure in his usual overbearing manner, so Sora never even left his room. Flopping down on his bed, Sora thought about what had just transpired and about how he was going to keep his promise to Hibiki without mentioning anything to Yasu. "Kuso..." he muttered. I'm not very good and keeping secrets.... this is gonna suck... With a heavy sigh, Sora got up and headed towards the baths. I'll ask Mikasa Sensei if she could help me out, or something...
