Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Night, it was like the unforeseen monster that lurked in the background, the one that no-one knew but that always existed, this was the one that everyone feared to be around. The frost Sennin moved into position as she looked at the gates of Leaf, war was coming she knew that much already, but preparations for this where made, the Sennin had been dispatched with a group of five Shinobi, her Captain kneeling down beside her as he studied the intricate workings of the gates. It was clear that he still had anger for this place and she found herself agreeing with him.

“Remember our mission is just infiltration, nothing more and nothing less, we are here to find information out, you as my ANBU will be my eyes and ears, we need to make sure that gather the full records of everything that is needed, assassinate high priority targets only if we find them, am I understood?”

“Yes Ma’am”

The small smirk that slunk across her lip said everything in that second, it was clear that she was looking forward to this, pointing her hands to the gate the group moved quickly, using a cart that was coming as a distraction. Her heart started to race with excitement, so this is what it felt like to be excited about something, she loved the thrill of it. The missions that they had been given was important to the village, they would not fail.

Instantly the six man team where sprinting for it, a clean entrance would mean they finally entered the village undetected, and the Sennin had trained her team well for this, she would not have them fail due to a simple mistake, this was a group effort and as a group they would make it inside or fight there way out of a mess.

A life of secrecy and subterfuge had taught Izura to think like the enemy, to anticipate their moves with an uncanny level of precision.

Watching the cart approach, Izura remained in waiting amongst the trees, using a combination of his Takaamahara technique and shadow garb to remain almost entirely undetectable, even to ocular powers like the byakugan, rinnegan, or sharingan. Not even his heartbeat, his blood, or his soul was traceable as it had transcended to an entirely different dimension separate to this one. He remained with only his face just barely sticking out from the trunk of the tree, the rest of his body phasing through the wood as if it wasn’t there.

That’s all Izura was; a ghost of the past from a war that he should’ve died in long ago. Someone that the Leaf Anbu Captain, Santaru Soku, was completely unaware existed. If the Leaf’s own Anbu didn’t even know who Izura was, then it was an astronomically unlikely chance that these Frost Shinobi would know who he is.

And that made him an ace card, an enigma to say the least. The eternal mangekyou sharingan flared to life from the darkness beyond the treeline, as he used Kamui to target the cart, and have it disappear entirely. If it was filled with explosives to try and destroy the gate, well it was too late then…

A spiraling gust of wind was created as the cart was sucked towards the portal, the enigmatic Izura remaining hidden in the shadows, prepped for a counterattack with Izanagi…

They likely didn't count on me....let's see how they react...

War... war never changes. With the threat of the snow shinobi having it's people on edge, there was no one in the hidden leaf village more cautious than the dark haired kunochi of Leaf. Being the former Stone Anbu sennin, it was evident to her that her skills and abilities were being under used. She was to be stationed at the hospital however that was only because Leaf hadn't realized just how much they'd need her on the front lines. The Main branches meeting was set a plan in case the enemy forced their way into the village but Amaya's plan would simply make that into a contingency. Their terror would not make it threw these gates.

"You shall not pass..." she uttered.

The war had officially started, but Hisao was yet to actually have anything to do with it yet. He had decided to do his usual thing, sitting on the gate itself drinking sake, seeing what he could see. He didn’t really expect anything to be occurring, because nothing had happened for the past few days.

Noticing movement, his mood picked up, guess there will be some action tonight after all. Jumping down from the gate, he took another swig as he landed, then put his flask away and cracked his knuckles, standing in the open. ”Good Evening. Coming to visit our lovely village? You will need to talk to the welcoming committee.”

It was not only the two strongest jounin on watch this night....

There were shinobi who were noble creatures, wanting to fight the good fight for the sake of the village. Then there were those who protected the village, not because it was the noble thing to do, but because it protected their interests.

The dark bird hovered over the gates, watching unseen as the 'elite' force stumbled into the village. Two women stood before them - noble souls indeed. But... none of them reported in. Migoya sighed, tapping the side of his headset on the main channel.

"Priority alert - infiltration at the main gates by individuals unknown. 6 in total. Requesting assistance. Repeat Priority alert - 6 people infiltrating at the main gate."

He closed his eyes briefly before landing on the ground next to one of the jounin, his white attire immediately showing his position as a med-nin, and thus a target.

Good thing Im immortal...

It seemed the team had been stopped, as they allowed grins to creep across there face and weigh up the abilities of them verses who had stopped them. The female stepped forward leaving the four ANBU and her Captain standing behind her as she flexed her shoulders. She pondered on the mission that had been given to her by the Shimokage, she had the strict instructions and she would not fail them, she would not abandon what she wanted. Allowing the team to flex their muscles they smirked looking at the group that had turned up it was clear that they could win and be done before the first flare went up.

“We have come to accept the reply from the Hokage form the meeting that took place inside of Crater City. We cannot leave until we have the reply. This is our mission, and this is our goal, we can fight if you want, some of us will die, and we will stand here then and make sure that no-one leaves this fight, even if it costs us all of our lives. The choice is yours, you can summon the Hokage and we can talk or we can fight your call?”

It seemed that the Frost Sennin would be waiting for a reply, as her team stood there in silence they wanted to see what would transpire, the Sennin had taken first blood from Leaf and they wanted ot get in on the action. Each one of them champing at the bit for the order to be given, the command to attack to be launched, but right now they were leashed. It seemed that the Sennin would wait and here out the reply to her question first before allowing them to do anything rash and without cause.

The dark haired kunochi would scan the faces of the Frost shinobi standing before her. She'd spent countless hours going over the bingo books and intel relating to the Frost shinobi in preparation for this day. They gave Leaf seven days to prepare and so she'd not waste the time idle. Amaya would recognize the one doing all of the talking though she was unable to recall her name and rank. One thing was for sure, she was the obvious leader of this crew of miscreants. Amaya would speak softly but sarcasticly. Her voice was spirtual in a way as a faint echo could be heard after every sentence.

"You've come quite a ways for something as simple as a reply when a carrier pigeon would have sufficed. Tell me then, why would your village send assassins instead of a messenger?"

Amaya would raise a sassy eyebrow. She wanted to make obvious that her questions were rhetorical. Though there was glory to be made this day, the Frost nin did leave room for diplomacy. If blood needed not to be shed then Amaya would approach such a route... even if she knew they had other intentions. If it were up to her she hadn't a need for the pony show and would get right to it. However, this was a diplomatic matter. She would not be the Jounin to break rank or the chain of command and cause a war between two nations. Even though Frost already declared war, she would humor them for now. She'd call over an anbu in consealment and inform them of the situation. The anbu would nod before vanishing in a poof of smoke to fetch the Hokage.

"My name is Akira Amaya of the hidden Leaf village. The Hokage should be here momentarily. Well, it would seem that we have some time to kill until his arrival. How about a chat? Your village obviously has some issues with the one I serve however I've heard little about it. What say you? Care for a bit of story time? What's your issue with Konoha mssss?"

Kenshin was busy when a person bugged him with some of the worst possible news. Kenshin threw on his formal attire of Sennin, gold belt of being a clan head, and his black training gear. For good measure he also put on his Leaf military vest.

He was quickly filled i on the situation while heading there his mind thinking quickly. Well this was a problem. IF there was a fight it would go poorly and they would not leave without a reply. Takeshi was gone so he could not give the reply. If he didn't they would know something is up. He had to either stall them or somehow convince them to leave.

Kenshin would appear next to Amaya and look at the situation. He recognized the one face and he frowned. It was that ANBU Sennin that hurt Maki. Kenshin mastered his emotions and smiled even though he felt like snapping this women's neck and dragging her to the ANBU Sennin's office after first dragging it throughout Leaf to show what happens to those who attack Leaf.

"My my, this is certainly a mail delivery service! 6 people to accept a letter. I imagine paying for a postage stamp is a lot more expensive in Frost!" Kenshin would say relaxing his body posture. "Now I promise you will get our response within the agreed upon time. We are mostly ready to give our response but we are waiting on a few key signatures. Our Hokage is making sure we get those office signatures so that everyone is on the same page. We would hate for there to be a misunderstanding between our two villages and what would happen if we gave you the wrong information purely on accident? I am sure your Kage would not like that. Imagine if we agreed to surrender and you started a full out war causing such massive casualties on both sides? That would sure to be a stain on the Frost shinobi's name! And we mustn't have that. So I promise you will get your response in due course with a full list of signatures of fellow higher ups in this village. Until then, I am afraid I have to ask you to leave as your very presence threatens the peace your Kage promised us until a reply was given." Kenshin would say a smile on his lips all the while. He would give a glace back to the others and give a stern 'wait for orders' look his grey eyes flashing.
