General Description: (An average boy from a simple family. only outstanding trait is a lack of outstanding traits. dark hair and eyes. stoic and rational by default, he's quick to anger when injured.)
History: (born into a small family in the poorer areas of the cloud village, hoshitsu was taught the art of chigokai by his maternal grandfather. hoshitsus' father always never approved of his practice, as he was a skilled taijutsu user who had always wanted his son to carry on his legacy. being of average stature and skill, hoshitsu was never able to excel at any arts other than chigokai and simple water based ninjutsu (more out of lack of genuine interest than actual limitation).He joined the academy by choice after a dispute with his father. Hoshitsu seeks to hone his skills, and prove to his hostile family that his chigokai is superior to his fathers taijutsu. partially to carry on the abilities of the only family member he respects, but mostly out of spite for the family that mocks him. )

Welcome to NC. I would like to let you know that as you start out as a student you are unable to manipulate chakra. However, in your history, you can say that your character is slowly understanding the mechanics as he enters the academy.

thank you, i was simply trying to focus areas i'd like my character to specialize in. now, how exactly does one go about entering the academy?

You're considered to be already accepted into the Academy when you create your character. Basically as soon as we approve your character you can begin roleplaying as an Academy Student and may join any active classes or request a class of your choice.

Correct. Your character is already accepted into the Academy so keep that in mind. You are more than welcome to edit your history to reflect this.
