Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Name: Fujiwara Masaki
Age: 12
Height: 152 cm / 5 ft
Weight: 42.66 kg / 94 lbs
Blood Type: AB+
Dominant Hand: Ambidextrous
Sex: Male
Gender: Male

Physical Description: Masaki is quite the average boy of his age. Typical height. Typical Weight. His body is thin, not sickly or malnourished mind you, but thin. Though he isn't wanton for food or nourishment one could categorize him as lithe. Likely that is just how his body type works considering how healthy he looks. When it comes to specific features, his face has sharp angles in the sense that he has high cheek bones, an angled, strong jawline, and a symmetric nose and eye placement. Per his mother, he has all the base genetics to become quite handsome one day. His skin is fair in tone with hardly any blemishes whatsoever save for a few beauty marks randomly placed across his body. His hair was kept short, just barely enough to grab a handful, and was violet in color with eyes being a lighter, more washed out purple.

For general attire, he wore shorts that came just passed the knees that were a medium brown in color as well as a green flannel long sleeve shirt that he tended to have the sleeves rolled up just passed the elbows. For footwear is wore simple, practical shoes to allow him to work outside in or run around comfortably in. During the colder months, he wears thermals underneath of his clothing and, depending on how cold, may swap his shorts out for longer pants of generally the same color.

Mental Description: Masaki was raised in a household mainly full of women, so generally speaking, he is mild-mannered and polite. He will, however, be the first in his family to tell someone how it is. Though this can get him in trouble, he does take pride in the fact that he is honest (sometimes to a fault). It's because of these traits that Masaki is also loyal to those he is close with. Even though he is the second from youngest in his family he would be the first to speak up for even his oldest of siblings.

He is an inquisitive youth and likes to know a task in full, or almost in full, before attempting it. While young and not in any sort of line of work, helping around the house and learning mundane day to day tasks has helped him be able to survive on his own if he ever found himself home alone. This in part is due to the fact he picks up on lessons quickly and adapts to do them as efficiently as he thinks they can be done. Generally, he is just another happy pre-teen boy with really no complaints in life.

History: Masaki came from a long line of shinobi, or so he was told by his father when he was younger. As far as he was told, his father's side of the family had a long stint as a shinobi family that helped, served, and proudly fought for Kumogakure no Sato throughout its many plights. Though that long line of prowess started to dwindle. The long line of shinobi that his father spoke of had almost seemed like an old wives tale, something passed down within the family to make the young ones think they were of something important. When his grandfather and four sibling were born, only one of them had any sort of ability to mold and use the chakra within themselves---and it wasn't his grandfather. Even still, the one that could barely had any power, ability, or talent to do anything with it. The years passed an his grandfather would marry, bearing three children. His father and two uncles. All three of which seemed to have no ability whatsoever. One uncle sadly perished at a young age, another married and only bore one child---also with no such ability. His father? His father married and bore six children. None of which seemed to have the gift either.

So Masaki's life went on like any other child who lived within the city. His father worked an honest job in the fields and mountain side while taking any small jobs necessary to help provide for his family. His mother was an amazing woman who sort of fell into a small business of herbs, flowers, and home remedies. Normally this would allow the two of them to be well off to a point. However with six children it was certainly hard to make ends meat. It did get slightly easier when the oldest of his siblings, his brother Isamu, began to work odd jobs and then as a farm aide just like their father. Even Fumiko, the second eldest and Masaki's sister would do small jobs for people within the city for extra coin. It came to the point where they lived comfortable. Nothing was too wanton, and they were all happy. Masaki was home schooled by his mother who ran her business from home to make things easy. He learned how to cook, clean, sew, plant and garden from his mother and when his father was home he learned how to navigate the land, tell time from the sun, about the wilderness around Kuminari no Kuni, and what to do if he ever found himself in harmful situations.

It wasn't until he was eleven years old that things began to change. Generally it was thought those born with the potential of molding chakra could be sensed at birth or within the first few years of their life. However, it was this year when the CPPS came around as per usual, as was required, and something caught their detection. His younger sister Suzu who was only eight years old at the time. He would never forget that day. There were three of them. Because his family lived within the city and because they were your general middle class the three of them sat down his parents to talk to them. Of course there was no choice in the matter, that much was clear, and no matter how upset his mother was, his father was beaming. His little girl, Masaki's sister, was going to reignite the stories he always had heard. During this entire conversation one of the three continued to lock eyes with him, examining him, questioning his existence, questioning his presence. It was very unsettling. However just like that, Suzu, his baby sister, was gone with barely a farewell.

The year passed and so many things began to change. Suzu didn't excel much in training from what he could tell. She had a gift but it seemed it would take a while to mold it. Academy Student would likely be her title for a long while. Because they lived in the city, they also had the luxury of Suzu coming home at the end of the day, unlike other stories they heard of children being ripped from their homes and never to be seen from again. It was almost funny to him that the youngest of them was the one who was the 'hope of the family'. Isamu and the twins seemed disgruntled by that fact whereas he and Fumiko were just happy for their sister and thought nothing of it. After all, they had managed to live happily thus far. Then it was that time of year again, the CPPS making their rounds once more. At this point, all of his older siblings were too old to be admitted in the academy and Suzu had already been poached. All that was left was him. Again there were three of them, one of which was the same one who had stared him down the year prior.

Masaki had felt no changes within himself. There was nothing he could do any better than a year ago. Yet here he was, being sat down in front of these three with his parents behind him. The one from the year before stared for a long moment before looking up to his father, "This boy has something inside of him, much like your youngest. There is something there to sense. A flicker. Last year it must not have been strong enough. Perhaps being around his sister now that she has begun her training has helped to draw his out, we cannot say. However, we will be taking him for now. He will be enrolled and hopefully do better than his sister so far."

Things sort of faded out for him then. All of a sudden he was caught up in his father's dream and now shared a legacy with his youngest sister. What was there to even say or think? Was he happy? Was he sad? It was a mix. For once in his life he was unsure of how he felt, how to react. In fact, all he could do was plaster on a small smile and simply be compliant to the demands of the CPPS men in front of him with well wishes from his parents being doted on him from behind.

He was going to, someday, be a shinobi.
