Appearance: She has bright silver eyes, incredibly pale skin, and short black hair She often times cares more for comfort and functionality over fashion, so she is often times seen running around in a loose t shirt or tank top and her favorite scarf around her neck from her mother, along with large worker's pants tucked into a pair of leather boots. (Not cowboy boots). If she is going into town, Ayako will where a slightly girly shirt in order to fit in a little better but does not loose the baggy jeans nor the scarf. Small little scares are dotted on her legs and she always has a few scrapes or cuts from her many shenanigans.
Mental Description: Ayako's mind never stops, its always working to figure out her next plan or project. She sometimes gets a head of herself, resulting in elaborate plans that can crumble with a few missing details. She is creative and innovative and often thinks outside of the box.
History: Ayako's father was a trader who died in an accident when she was an infant, leaving her mother to raise her alone. Her mother was a teacher in a nearby school and home schooled Ayako in her early years. Through her mother's teachings, Ayako became interested in the sciences, math, and art. While her mother worked, Ayako would stay with her grandmother who gave Ayako outlets for her creative antics by giving her sketchbooks and pencils to draw in as she awaited for her next lesson. The underground city proved to be the perfect playground for the curious Ayako as she grew up finding scraps and lost pieces of machines, which she took home to create something completely new. When she turned seven, Ayako was sent to the nearby public school, because of her grandma's failing health.
While at school, Ayako got bullied pretty bad for being "different" and "strange". This is when she formed her habit of suddenly becoming mute. She did make a few friends but they were outnumbered by the amount of bullies who patronized her for "not being a girl". So Ayako many times snuck out and went on to explore the city and continue to do what she loved. Create, dream, and imagine. Her teachers were perplexed by her scores, which were very high considering she was always skipping. One semester of this and Ayako's mother pulled her out and had her in homeschooling again. This time she was taught by her dear aunt, her father's sister, who further nurtured Ayako's creative side. Ayako's academics continued to improve and there was no more trouble that is until the next year when Ayako's grandmother passed away.
This took a heavy toll on Ayako's mother. She took to drinking and began to develop a temper. This was when Ayako's mute habit came back. Ayako's aunt took her away from her mother before something bad happened. Shortly after her tenth birthday, Ayako's mother committed suicide, leaving Ayako in her aunt's care. Now Ayako never takes off her mother's last gift to her, a small orange scarf she had knitted for her before her grandmother's death.
Ayako shut down after her mother's death. Her aunt tried desperately to cheer her up and get back the ball of energy that Ayako was. One day as Ayako sulked around the town, she noticed the shinobi academy, all the smiling faces. Ayako figured she had nothing to lose and might as well do some good. She began to train. At first Ayako's aunt was against her trying to get into the academy, but after seeing the fire return into the young girl's eyes, she accepted it and allowed to apply.
