Both of his parents come from the Wind Nation's lower classes, clawing their way to their current station; though Fujito has not known desperate poverty, the maxims his parents drill into him daily cause him to work hard nonetheless. Being an only child, Fujito chafes at the constant doting and seeks to grow his abilities. He is excited to enter the academy and begin his journey; he does not yet know where he wants life to take him, but he is keen to learn the options.
