History: Kurai comes from a poor, working class family. His father was very strict with him. He endured rigorous training as a young child from his father. They would run together for an hour or so everyday. Kurai's father taught him that physical fitness is key in living a long healthy life and would always say "The Phoenix can fly across the world many times and never become exhausted. It is has an extremely healthy heart and big muscles! That's why it lives so long. As long as you strive to be as strong as he Phoenix, you can live a very long time as well." Kurai's mother passed away during birth and he has no siblings. His father, Yukio Fushichou, never remarried. Kurai's father also taught him the art of hunting. Yukio on a daily basis would go out hunting for the albino foxes that roamed the mountains. Kurai one night was awaken by a shinobi who told him his father's body was found along a pass in the mountains and looked as if he was ravaged by a carnasaur. Since the incident, his grandparents from his father's side travelled from the Land of Fire to Iwakagure in order to watch over their blood. He has been living with them for two years now. Kurai made a decision to become a ninja simply for the fact a ninja helped put his heart to ease after a long night of waiting and crying because his father had not come home. His grand parents noticed the fashion of how he would bring home the foxes he hunted. He would cut off their feet and their necks would be broken. Since the passing of Yukio, Kurai hasn't said very much to his grandparents and doesn't bond with them as he did with his father. In the wee hours of the morning when they would assume Kurai was asleep, they would talk about him. They would say how cruel he was towards many animals and how angry he had become. One night, Kurai overheard the two talking and confronted them both. After a long, heated argument and a few exchanges of name calling, he was dubbed Hisan, or Cruel, by his grandparents. Kurai still lives with them both but has an extremely unstable relationship with them.
