Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Shortly the elevator came to a halt at the ground floor. The double doors of the elevator slid open to make way for the ‘Shinobi in Gold’. The newfound nickname that had been given to her now once she made her way out to the streets. The locals were quick to throw glances towards her then back to their given routine. As she was to them, suspicions ran high between her and the locals. Something she had to come into acceptance with as her gold mask, white cloak and hood screamed suspicious and untrustworthy. It shifted her lips into a pursed smile. Now she’ll be left alone and avoided like the plague. That and the raging confidence she felt at the success of her encounter with the Kazekage. Her subordinate had produced results before, her faith in Yuna to successfully complete these high ranking missions stood mighty like the Raikage’s tower.

The life of a Sunan held mystique in her brain. The way they moved, lived and their culture slowly began to root itself in her brain as something of interest. ‘Maybe one day I’ll be back. Not as a shinobi but a visitor.’ Her gaze shifted; those red hues scanning the Kazekage tower in all its stature to the Kazekage’s office. She held the memory of the building for another moment, soaking up its significance one last time. The desert winds began to pick up, forcing her to look away from the breeze and toward her next destination: the village gates.

Fortune shone brightly on the Sennin from the ghost town that was the lobby to the gates. Did the time of day have an effect or were the people that came to Suna here to stay? The hustle and bustle of Kumogakures’ gates fluctuated wildly yet there were only a few instances where the guards had nothing to do. ‘In some cases that was better…’ She mumbled as she recalled the incident with an arrogant guard and the previous ANBU Sennin. Instinctively Mirō moved quietly to the front desk where a guard sat at attention. For a brief second she wondered how the conversation would go, without Yuna here to give notes she’d have to be the one to talk. With a change of pitch and tone she spoke out to the guard. “I arrived earlier today with the Kazekage. Now that business is over I need to return home. Here.” Quietly a hand moved to her inner cloak pocket to pull out a passport, sliding it gently to the guard. Most of the information had been redacted. “I was told if there are any hiccups, to have the guards contact the Kazekage for approval of my leave.”

"Hmm..." It was rare for Uzi to get up and greet or walk out anyone of the village. He usually gave the privilege to one of the AiT, those that needed that experience for the long run. This time around, however, the white haired guard adjusted his bear mask upon his face, looking over the one that seemed to be an operative from another village. Curiosity had struck the Guard Captain as he stood up from his post. Looking down from the upper walkway, it seemed this one would be leaving, hopefully they enjoyed their stay within the village of Suna. He never really got a report from those that left, maybe today he'd make a change. He departed, arriving at the desk where one of his subordinates sat. Uzi placed a hand on his shoulder. "You should take a break." The operative nodded, glancing at the foreign shinobi's attire before moving out of the office.

Uzi looked over the passport, it seemed to check out. "You may pass." Uzi said, sliding the passport back over to the visitor. He continued to stare at the attire, amazed that he hadn't thought to deck out his own cloak and mask that way. 'Very unqiue indeed. That has to be one of a kind.'

Uzi took a brief second to allow the visitor to grab the passport. "But before you go..."[/color] The tone of the man's voice was a bit more serious now. Oh boy was he building the suspense as he took a rather dramatic pause.

...

The wind would blow. With the windows of the office open, the breeze swept in, swaying his white hair a bit with the motion of the winds.

...

A yawn escaped his vocals, he wasn't quite ready yet to ask his question.

...

I'll take this time to describe Uzi's outfit. He wore his bear ANBU mask over his face, concealing his facial features of course. Like the best of shadows that wanted to keep their identity hidden. Tis was also a requirement. An ANBU vest was worn over his torso, revealing his masculine figure. His muscles weren't the biggest, but you could see soooo much detail to his muscles. It was obvious he did at least 100 push-ups a day. The cuts in the muscles of his arms revealed that he never tired of his training regimen. He wore your average black cargo pants, cuffed inside of his shinobi sandals. The shinobi sandals were standard issue of course.

...

Uzi moved his hands to his pockets slowly, trying not to alarm the visitor before him. He put on his black gloves, part of his ANBU outfit. He probably looked cool putting them on at such a time, but in reality, he had totally forgotten to put them on at the start of his shift, which was a few hours ago.

...

His eyes would give a deep gaze into the holes of the ANBU mask of the other for a few more seconds. He wasn't trying to scare this person, he only wondered if the holes of his own mask was too big compared to the stylish mask of the one before him.

...

He cleared his throat, signifying that he would begin speaking once more. "Did you enjoy your stay within Suna? And is there anything we could do to improve your experience?" This was the only thing he wanted to know from the foreigner, only sort of though. Sounding like an all too happy automated tele machine response. He awaited an answer. It was quite the simple question, so he hoped for a simple answer. A complicated answer would be just as great, though he'd probably be thinking about what this one meant if he couldn't decipher the meaning behind such a complicated answer.

After an answer the op would be free to leave.

Uzi would walk back to his post, appointing another ANBU to take over the office position. He took a sit once he was positioned to view the entrance/exit of the gates. 'So Raizo had a visitor today. I wonder what the meeting was about.' He let the thought drift from his mind as he continued on with his own duties.

After a moment of pause soft ears twitched at the purposeful sounds made by a supposed higher up. Red hues peered through her mask to inspect the white haired operative. After they dismissed the guard they took hold of her passport, inspecting it thoroughly. The details listed were, of course, redacted and any defining details of Mirō’s origins were also hidden. The whole fiasco of passports for ANBU never made sense to her, even as Sennin. Thankfully, most veteran ANBU of Kumo had an on-command sigil on their hand to forgo all this pointlessness.

Once the operative gave her approval to leave he spoke out once more to her. Fingertips pulled the passport back off the counter and into her cloak. A fine brow rose behind the mask as the operative paused momentarily. ‘Are they stuck thinking?’ Her summon whispered into her mind. Mirō mentally batted away her silly question as she awaited another question from the lad. Soon after they asked a question that truly surprised her. Her gaze shifted from his to look slightly up at the ceiling in reflection.

Her time spent in Suna, though short, had been uniquely pleasant and quaint. Literally out of the gate the leader of the village welcomed them with a wide grin and funny semantics. The hospitality shown to her and her subordinate bewildered the Sennin and washed away much of the fears that had been ingrained in her mind from Kumo locals. It could’ve all been a clever ruse, however their mannerisms and dialogue spoke otherwise. After her own moment of thought her gaze turned back to the operative. “Very fair. No notes, in fact I took some from Suna.” The hospitality shown to her would have to be implemented at Kumo gates, if the guests were kind enough.

Without further ado the masked operative left the Sennin to her own devices. Much like he, she moved quietly through the lobby and towards the opening gates.
‘Till next time, Suna.’
