Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It was almost subconscious, but Akuma made his way deep into the forest where he spent the first few years of his life being raised by wolves. It could have been the abandonment of his adoptive son, the reminder of his dead adoptive father or the fact the wolves; although most likely dead by now, where the only family he had that did not meet a tragic end. This place was his home away from home, but it smelt different. It was something he couldn't quite put his finger on at the moment, chopping it all up to his clouded mind. Dealing with whatever issues he couldn't quite grasp consciously.

Subtle but audible cracks and rustle of leaves were heard. Looking to his right and left he realized he was surrounded by a pack of wolves, getting low on all fours as he did when he ran with his old pack. Growling as he looked for the one that would try and make the first move. An older one slowly came from the bushes, with no hostile aggression. Akuma didn't realize it at the moment but this was the pup of his old pack, now one of the elders. The old wolf came over sniffing at Akuma almost not believing what he saw. But before long a youthful vigor came upon him nuzzling into Akuma like an old friend. The man realized finally as the wolf cuddled into him and ran around as old as he was, "My, haven't we got bigger."When this wolf was a pup it would always curl up with him as they quickly grew a small bond with one and other. But sadly this was around the time Akuma was adopted and the pack left him thinking it was better he being raised by a human than them. The other wolves, slowly came over as the new pack gradually welcomed him back.

But that odd smell got stronger as he sat with all these wolves. As it got closer he realized it was dirty human smell, was it poachers, bandits or just hermits. They stunk to much to be simple travelers, the wolves obviously smelt this too with their far better sense of smell than his own. The medical shinobi was not as small as he once was nor as sneaky, playing to his strengths he stood up and with his old friend by his side they made a straight line to these humans.

"What's a Konoha shinobi doing out here?" one asked as he spoke from the bushes.

"Protecting. State your business," pausing briefly "ugh you all reek. Leave this forest now, you will not get a second warning." Getting hostile because the smell was old dried up blood, animal and human alike. These where bandits or hunters fresh off a kill.
They remained silent, soft rustling was audible as they relocated for a better advantage point. Akuma though wasted no time, because he heard a string of a bow being drawn. Running straight towards one of the hunters. Even being shot by the arrow did not stop the hateful bull charge, going through the bush and grabbing the man by the face picking him up and throwing him over to another, snapping his neck with ease before letting go. There was only about four, now three of these savage hunters and they did not take to long to take care of. Looking over their bodies it was easily noted that it was thrill of the kill that drove them around here, not food, not fur; just the kill. Relatable as Akuma, enjoyed the killing of them but they would be food for the animals and insects of this forest now, they won't be wasted or missed.

He wished the smell would have disappeared with their lives but sadly not. It would be some time until the foul sent left this area, if only he mastered acidic jutsu. He could have dissolved them and their stink. Never the less, he and the pack of wolves left to go back to their den. Once there Akuma would take care of his little wounds and after healing, would stay there the night before making his way back to the village. This forest never seemed to lack in entertainment at least.
