My apologies to the good village of Cloud, but I am requesting to me marked inactive. The stuff below isn’t me ranting about the site or players, as is custom. Fear not! Just tying up some loose ends, sort of.
As for Ayumu as Sennin:
Ayumu should be said to have resigned from his Sennin position for personal reasons which I will determine the details of if/when I return to NC as the character. I really can’t make any recommendations as to who should receive the position after me. There are some good candidates OoC, but IC we don’t even have any Captains. To be fair, Ayumu was promoted from AiT to ANBU and then almost immediately upon his return to the village made Vice Commander (second in command) only to be promoted to Sennin shortly when Moro went inactive, so it wouldn’t be unprecedented to promote someone from a lower rank. I leave it up to Council’s discretion.
To those whom I am in threads with:
Please do one of the following, whatever is convenient / most sensible for you: Either void Ayumu’s existence in the thread and move on, void the thread entirely, leave due to inactivity, or assume Ayumu has exited after being called away via headset to something that requires his immediate attention. I’m very sorry, but I cannot bring myself to write posts anymore. I have in the past been writing the majority of my posts at work due to some free time, but that has been reduced significantly with the onset of a new project and when I get home I am in no mood to post lately.
As for the mission that I was running:
It was all but over with. Please end that mission in a success for the participants and give them their just rewards. You can say they caught up with the bandits and rescued their VIP. I’m sorry that I failed to complete the mod myself.
Farewell:
Anyway, I will almost certainly return to NC. I always do, it’s just time for a break. This is probably my longest running character, and there’s a good chance I’ll return to him when my muse for writing comes back and I have a little more time. It may even be soon. Thanks for the good times, Cloud. Whether it’s this character or another, when I come back it’s gotta be to Cloud.
