Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Another mission request had arrived from Pinchy the Crab, and as stated during the previous meeting he had requested Junan personally.

As such Junan was at the gates, in line, waiting for his turn to be checked over, have his passport stamped, and recorded in the books that he had left.

Only moments earlier he had met with his boss. She didn't seem displeased to hear that he would be out of the village for a period of time despite their being lovers. Indeed she instead told him that he needed to take this opportunity to go out to the village of Stone, there he should try and make some contacts for the organisation and see who would be the sort who might desire their services.

She also told him to do the same with Sand.

Looking at the mission briefing he'd wondered how he'd be received after being away for the duration that the organisation was requesting and so had gone to the tower and requested permission to visit some of the various Daimyo in an attempt to gain the village any further work. This kind of thing wasn't unheard of, though shinobi offering to do so were very rare. Luckily for Junan his spotless mission record, and the sheer quantity of missions performed by him over the years meant that little to no suspicion was raised by his doing so.

So here he was, his mission slip and permissions to be out of the village for an extended period of time. He did so hope that this would be enough time...

Another day, another shift of guard duty. Shinya had been a gate guard for years now and it seemed like that was more or less to be his lot in life now. He was fine with that, really. It was easy work and paid decent enough. He didn't have to do any difficult travel. It was only dangerous occasionally and in those cases the village usually pulled out the big guns. For him it was pretty much just a life of checking passports for validity and recording the comings and goings of the village's shinobi and guests.

There was a line of shinobi waiting to be let out, something that didn't happen too often. All that it really changed was that he had to check a few passports in a row. After letting through two shinobi the last of the bunch came up prepared to go through the exit procedure.

"Hello. Passport, please," Shinya said, holding out his hand to accept the documents. As he received him he began looking over them. He didn't have to ask about a reason for travel as he had the mission slip alongside the passport. These were really the easiest ones to handle. The exit was basically already cleared. Taking the small stamp from his belt pouch he placed his approval on the passport and returned it along with the mission slip to Junan.

"Everything checks out, you're free to head out. Good luck on your mission, be safe," Shinya said, stepping aside for Junan to pass through the gates. He peered around the shinobi looking for anybody else approaching. For now, it seemed he could go return to his seat and crack open the book again. Someone else was manning the top of the gates to keep an eye out for intruders and missing attempts so that left him with a lot of free time between shinobi requesting exit.

[Exit permitted]

It was Junan's turn, and he was asked for his passport. Handing it over easily the other went through them, the mission slip was checked over and then stamped, handed back and well wished given.

"Thank you." Junan said nodding his head and looking behind him. The gates seemed busy today "And good luck to you." he said, a small smile on his face to show that he was attempting to be humorous.

With a quick once over he made sure he had everything before he headed out, and he did. It was time to make his move.
