Asuka had sat down in the Hokage’s office and carefully crafted a note on Yomi’s behalf. It was simple, and it was to the point. She would seal it with the Hokage’s seal so that Takeshi knew it was legit. Tamashii had relayed to her that the ANBU Sennin was said to be in Suna, so that’s where she sent Besito.
Besito whined at his instructions, but, more so because Yomi wasn’t going to be along for the trip than because he didn’t want to go. He did not like being far away from her if he could help it, as all over protective animals would be. Asuka reminded him that Yomi was in a bad place and everyone needed to do their part to make it a little easier for her. Going to Suna was his part. It was easy to send Besito, he was already aware of what Takeshi looked like and knew his scent so giving the note to the wrong person would be hard. Not impossible though.
She secured a note wrapped in plastic to each front paw. One that said who he was there to see, and one being the actual letter for Takeshi. She also reminded him that since it was a work-related trip, he’d have to be careful to not eat anyone on the way or destroy any property.
Once everything was done, Asuka sent him off. The village was still on high alert so she had to personally see to it that Besito could get out without incident, not that there was a way for anyone to really stop him.
