Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The breadth of the wind-sailing journey from and past the dockyards to Sand on and off his previously used galleon for passage overseas from Water to Wind was full of hot, whipping winds slapping and scratching at his overheated body and face. He had been following some other shadows running past him as he heaved heavily, trying to reach his destination with his mask and goggles on. The sandstorm made vision hard, especially with him having goggles on. His rucksack pumped up and down as he sprinted forward. These people knew where they were going, so they were more efficient in their paths toward the Maw, but Aomaki was having trouble keeping up with them since most of them were already ahead and he could keep up with only a various few of them, and even then they were sometimes ahead of him and he had to sprint forward in order to keep up with them so he didn't fall out by accident. He tried to keep up with his newest master, the second Mizukage, Hoshikata Isaki. He didn't actually know what the mission was, but he knew that he was going to participate.

Mercy tried to give Aomaki strength as he ran through the defeating storm, and oxygen was minimal. Even so, Aomaki strided ahead toward the large Maw that he now saw the others enter. The storm ended once he entered under the shadow of the devouring Maw, and he looked in darkness at other silhouettes through the now-cold zone of vacancy. He watched others seek out guardians of the place, and the other members howled and yelled, happy they had made it to their destination. Aomaki and Mercy were both relieved they had made it, and Aomaki walked to and pushed himself against a wall, turning around 180º from it, thumping his back to it as he then slumped downward and sat in a shiver, looking around the pitch of void-like colors in of which he couldn't entirely realize the chaotic scattered causation for his paranoia in. He experienced only strange emotions. New lands were strange to him and made him feel different in each one he visited. Soon he would master every place and he would never be harmed by them again.

[Requesting Entrance / Some other people are probably going to join too, so I will wait at least two days for them. If they don't join two days from Tuesday on the 31st of December, 2013, then please continue the thread. I'm most likely only waiting on Hoshikata anyway to be honest, so :p.]

Re: Greetings Friends! [Requesting entrance/People might joi

OC: Hope you don't mind.

Cross-legged on the ground wearing lime green spandex tights under a royal blue pleated skirt sat a one Takahashi Shiori. She was playing a game she had invented to pass the time, it involved a bouncy rock the store keep claimed was a rubber ball and some metal spiny things. She bounced the ball off the floor with all of her might and then scurried to procure the metal objects that littered the floor about her. Grievously, the ball ricocheted off the ancient cartilage of the monstrosity that housed her. She scurried to her feet and pursued the miscreant bouncing rock. The ball bounced to the maw, a place she had never traversed. She skidded to a halt and frowned at the loss of her rock, she would have enjoyed that rock had it remained in her possession. She wanted to pursue it but father would be displeased. He told her to remain in Sunagakure always, it would be trespassing for her to step even one foot beyond this boundary.

She was rather dejected over this loss, she would glower over this likely for the next twenty minutes or so -- her life was ruined.

She pouted, the howl of the raging storm agreed with her, it too wept for her loss. The desert stole her new play thing, super-villains were forged off of less. She turned about face about to return to the recesses of her home when something came bounding through the choas. Whatever the sandy thing was, it sagged against the ancient wormy wall. "Er... did you find a bouncy rock?" She called out hopeful to the strange, dirty thing. What unforeseen providence this might be, perhaps the desert spirits were going to retrieve her stone. "It is round... it bounces... and uh... it's mine," she added to ensure that she invoked the law of dibs.

Re: Greetings Friends! [Requesting entrance/People might joi

[Shiori: Don't mind at all ^w^ <3 I have two consciences, and if I don't 'speak' with quotations, then I'm speaking with my second conscience, the (purple-colored) Goddess of Mercy in my mind. They can both (Both the conscience of Aomaki and of Mercy) use Aomaki's body to any extent, but Mercy is somewhat more limited in certain cases, but she still retains great power over Aomaki. They're looking to destroy chaotic evils in the world and are mentally unstable. Aomaki is just a normal, human kid from his looks.]

A ball bounced up and down, passing to his right side. He looked to the left and looked at a rather dejectedly displeased and terribly saddened girl.

A little girl?

It seems so!

What should we do?

Retrieve her lost ball! Maybe she doesn't want to pass into the open side of the maw for fear of its looks!

Alright then!

Aomaki took in a deep breath through his orange-colored strong cotton and linen mask, and then stood upward from the wall. He looked to the girl and tilted his head a bit toward the ball. He gave a pleasant-looking smile and blinked a bit, nodding to her. He disappeared from where he stood and instantly reappeared, materializing over the ball. He stopped its bouncing with his foot before the ball had headed out into the storm, never to be seen again. He looked down at it from looking over at the girl, and leaned down to pick it up. With his gloves on, he trenched through sand heavily with thick furred boots on. His rucksack was getting kind of heavy.. He'd have to sell those furs soon. He looked ahead as he walked to the girl and noticed her incessant crying.

Oh, my..

I'll handle this, you.

Alright then.

"Hello, little one! Why is it you cry? Your ball is unharmed! I was here, so it is all right!"

Mercy spoke through Aomaki's body again, trying to keep her cool and voice with the un-calm storm making such horrible sounds behind the three, or two, that was, physically. Mercy made Aomaki tilt his head to the side to look at the girl with a nice smile. Then she realized he still had the mask on his face. She pulled down his mask and pulled up his goggles with her other arm while she held in the ball in her right one. A somewhat scathed, but otherwise unscarred face tenderly looked at the small girl with a comforting resplendence about himself and his outlandish clothing. She made it to the girl and kneeled to her side, and looked up at her, their faces at the same height from the ground. She looked into her eyes and looked at the irises' colors. She giggled through him a bit and then took the ball with both hands and handed it to the girl easily and gently.

"See? It's okay. It's fine. No need to cry anymore! Please do not worry or feel saddened!"

The mysterious, dirty stranger departed into the erratic bluster of sand that threatened to bite and scratch. How the squall cried, the rat-ta-tat-tat of countless grains that assaulted all fronts was no place for a bouncing rock. She did not like the storm, even if she was not forbidden. Her cousin had likely ventured into the black blizzard dozens of times and yet he somehow always returned. Perhaps the weather was calmer than it is now. The itinerant stranger was going to steal her rock. "It's MINE," she protested into the veil of the diamond maelstrom.

She considered pursuing the unknown into the earthen turbulence, but the unmarked boundary stopped her still. Father was insistent that she was not to venture onto the surface of Wind Country. She could not remember a time when they lived above the desert, she would have been likely very young when they migrated into the bowels of Suna but she could not remember even a sliver of natural sunlight.

"Hello, little one! Why is it you cry? Your ball is unharmed! I was here, so it is all right!"

"My rock?"</B><i></i> She answered with caution, unsure if the ball was a cheap replacement for her bouncy rock.

Her bouncing rock as returned to her, she accepted the return of her presently favored toy. A smile came across her face, somewhat lop-sided but none the less genuine.

"See? It's okay. It's fine. No need to cry anymore! Please do not worry or feel saddened!"

She approached the stranger, her age likely more apparent as her actions suggested an essence of greater youth. How young was she? She hadn't the faintest idea. She was older than Sousuke, that much she knew. She was a child in mind yet upon closer inspection she had the body of an adult. She was theorized to be somewhere in her 20's, having been found as a young child in the caverns by her "father" so many years ago, while she was intelligent she retained many child-like qualities. "You don't look like a sand spirit, what are you?" She asked before she remembered her manners and with a yelp announced,<B> "andthankyoufortherock! ...I'm Takahashi Shiori."<i></i>

OC: Fair to note on my character, it is just her. She is a bit strange and is not a young child but acts like one a lot, she is actually in her 20's and Sousuke is her IC cousin Kazekage Sousuke for the sake of reference.

We must be under some heavy illusions..

Are we under a Genjutsu of some sort and it just now wore off?

Not sure, but I wouldn't say that. I just think that the heat of the sun and of the sandstorm is causing us to have a mirage, is all. I don't think Sunagakure no Sato would be so willing to attack strangers that have yet to explain themselves.

Maybe..

In any case, I'll fix this strangeness.

Okay.

"Oh.. I am sorry, I did not know.. Wait.. This is.. a rock?.."

The rock-ball was snatched from his hands and she giggled through him some more. She and he had no idea exactly how to go about this. They were under some dark duress. Inane mumbling and rambling came through as crystalline wording by using a spell that would allow for voices to be amplified non-harmfully to any users or those affected by the Wind Elemental Chakra Magicks. The rock-ball was not exactly felt in its entirety, nor was it entirely seen, either. It was just taken for what it was, or maybe even something simplified. Heavy clothing made sure that the feeling was dulled and dampened from he whom held it.

Some kind of magic.. I feel there is impatience and greed, though temperance and youth about this character.

Let's try to be simple about this.

Wasn't that our problem that made the situation strange?

Yeah, but I can work it to my advantage.

Alright, fine then.

Adjusting herself to a length of which she was either level or below this other person, Aomaki was grounded and rooted to the sand as gravity and prudence begged for the situation. Aomaki looked into the eyes of this person with a royal purple glow about his own irises.. Listening to this person, it was made clear that this person was named Takahashi Shiori and that this person believed that Mercy and Aomaki were not the sand spirit she thought they were for a few seconds. To explain themselves to her, she adjusted him accordingly with him in her possession. Straightened as was possible for right now, a curtsy/bow was undertaken for this other person, and then a dusting-off of the earthy remnants of the storm was what happened after that. Using elementalist wind magicks to dust himself, Mercy grinned a bit.

"Human we are. We are peaceful. You are welcome for this rock returned to you, Takahashi Shiori. We are.. the Goddess of Mercy, and the God of Time. Mercy and Aomaki. Pleased to make your acquaintance.. Sorry for intruding on your.. Maw, like this.. You see, we're following our leader of the new world of peace, the second Mizukage, Hoshikata Isaki, from Water Country, and we wish to seek entry for refuge from this storm...to save certain peoples that had to flee from the volcano in Water Country freezing over and putting the land into eternal darkness of snow, so that we may go again outward to save more lives and then defeat the evils that cursed the volcano of fire and magma to plunder the lands into eternal un-bliss of deathly chill and darkness."

"Oh.. I am sorry, I did not know.. Wait.. This is.. a rock?.."

"Yes, it is my bouncingrock,"</B><i></i> Shiori affirmed. It is a necessary component for her bouncing and picking things up game.

"Human we are. We are peaceful. You are welcome for this rock returned to you, Takahashi Shiori. We are.. the Goddess of Mercy, and the God of Time. Mercy and Aomaki. Pleased to make your acquaintance.. Sorry for intruding on your.. Maw, like this.. "So... you're Gods?"<i></i> She repeated to verify out loud. Who would have thought that there were Gods walking about. She wondered if all of the Gods hung out together? Did they meet any of the members of the Suna pantheon? Is every religion right and their god is just walking around? Does that mean Jashin is real too? Well, the blood god likes blood. As long as Lord Jashin was not in their heels, all would be right in the world.

"Sorry about your country being destroyed," she added. There really was no Sunamark card that would state in prose how one wishes to send their sympathies regarding the loss of their homeland. It must really suck to have a volcano destroy your homeland, too bad they did not try to live underground like they did when the Sunahoshi failed them and the maelstrom came.

She was a bit confused by the eruption of information. Was the bringer of bouncy stones both a guy and a girl god? What bathroom would he/she use? What about this Mizukage fellow? Was he about to burst through the curtain of grit? Because he is no longer the head of a country because it no longer exists, does he still count as a diplomat? Is she allowed to talk to diplomats? She should call her father. Father entertained 'important' people on occasion, she was usually limited to a scripted role that usually involved her singing a pretty song or poring drinks. No, she should call her cousin. It was his job to deal with this stuff. It was a shame that she did not have anything to communicate with him on her at this time. Well, someone will be surprised when gods show up in the city. She wondered what Sousuke was doing now anyways. Did he even know that Mist was destroyed by some natural disaster? You would have thought that would have been something that would have come up in casual conversation.

"Well, I am pretty sure we have some security issues because of defectors, but I see no reason why we cannot let people in. When your Mizukage shows up I could bring you to Sousuke,"<i></i> she offered. She rarely used his title in conversation, much like a baker's wife does not call their husband Baker Kai the same could be said of a cousin of the Kazekage. She was not of political mind, she had never even heard of Mizukage Hoshikata. What if they were liars. What if none of them were who they said they were? Did it really matter? "The way to the village is pretty simple, you just follow the twisting path and the shafts. It really does not branch out until you hit the actual city,"<i></i> she explained as she pointed deep into the throat of the worm, the terminal point of their subterranean city that has served as the gateway for years.

"So it is a rock, then.. Hm.."

Aomaki rubbed his lip a bit with his thumb. He then proceeded to put his hands to his sides and look with grace and pride at being noticed as gods.

"Yes! We are gods! Though, we are trapped in a mortal shell, and we must break free of our bindings and defeat the sorcerers in the evil darkness that have trapped us in these shells and brought the world into hellish chaos. Then we may be reincarnated into our immortal bodies! Our purities! Maaah, nyaaah!"

Aomaki nodded and expressed, his face showing his expression of his own true majesty. Sometimes one or the other got tired of controlling what they both owned, but was originally as Aomaki's male body. Aomaki flailed his arms about a bit in the air, flowing through them his wind elemental magicks as he made sounds with his body.

"Yes, the people must take some time to heal. We hope they will be okay here! For the meantime, those of us that are gods will save the mortals by defeating evil once we head back out! It's just we need to stay here for some time in order to rest and gain power in order to do as was previously described!"

Aomaki looked about to his sides. The shadows of refugees were slumped against the walls. Some of them were even sleeping! That was amazing, given they had all that energy from earlier! Looked like they were all going to need a rest. Aomaki noticed that the second Mizukage was missing, though! He must be doing something that he couldn't have his refugees knowing about.. Well, I guess he can just catch up with us later on once we're all inside..

"That sounds simple enough! Come, refugees! Let us enter! We will meet up with Hoshikata inside! He's busy with something, it seems!"

Aomaki looked and yelled out to the refugees, using his wind elemental magicks to amplify his sound and distribute it into each of the ears of the refugees harmlessly, but enough to wake them all up if they were asleep or not. He waved his arms toward the throat of the maw and nodded to the woman/girl. He bowed/curtsied once more and smiled at her elegantly, making his way inside alongside the other refugees behind him.

[They're probably not coming until quite some time after this New Years event, xD. I'm pretty sure that Hoshikata can make it in himself, but I'm not sure if he'd want to come in through the same thread or not. I PM'd him, but he seems to be busy elsewhere. I'll just enter for now. ^w^]

And so the godly man-woman would save them from evil. Evil tended to be a bad thing. Suna used to be crawling with gods way back when, it did not end well for the gods obviously as there were none any more. Primus was a bad @$$ in his day. There were good gods surely and who was to say that all those gods were bad even back then. They all shared the same fate. She should warn them that being a god was a dangerous thing in Sunagakure. Since the Great Rebellion, the only god history even mentioned was Suna and she was gone as were her keepers of the desert. Gods are not something to be revered here, they are reviled. For some reason, she did not share their sentiments. That pair of gods looked pretty normal and their ambition to destroy evil was something to get behind.

"Be careful about the god-thing!" Shiori called out after the gods and their refugees. She was not sure if they heard her. She hoped they did, making their identity known was a dangerous deed. Her warning was likely a bit unclear, but announcing chapters of history into a crowd of refugees would not be possible. Which one were they? There were so many others. Her bouncing rock left her grasp and caromed through the maw once again, leaving her again with her little metal spines. Her lower lip quivered at her loss. "...poop," she muttered as her shoulders fell dejectedly. That would be the fifth bouncing rock she lost today. She scuffed her sandals on the hard earthen floor and turned about face, the refugees were already filtering in. She would have to let the her cousin know about this influx.
