The last time Minako was at the Dawnbringers plaza, it was when she magically changed for no apparent reason. Her clothing, her looks and even her hair changed to some extent. Today though, she was here for a different reason. Someone put up a request that required some shinobi to act like cops, or guards in black suits to say the least. A worker has set up what seemed to be a peaceful protest in the name of his co-workers. There is also a high chance that a riot may happen because of this move however.
Right now, at the Dawnbringer’s plaza, Minako, along with a few other people, had their arms crossed around the small group of protesters as they kept shouting in the name of fair pay and whatnot. A crowd surrounded the kunoichi and the protesters as they cheered along with them, seemingly agreeing that they were protesting for the right thing, and that there was nothing wrong with that. Minako herself, personally didn’t care, she was actually getting rather bored of just standing and doing absolutely sod all. On the bright side, no riot has seemed to happen so far, so that was always good.
Apart from the crowd growing and growing, there was nothing else to really do, that was until someone came up to the shinobi and offered some food for them. While some declined, Minako felt bad if she done so, and with that, she took the hot dog with a thanks and started to eat it, she didn’t want to rush it, but she was really hungry and it was some seriously good food. She wanted to thank them, but instead, they seemed to have vanished, and then she got some ketchup down her gear… that was annoying…
As with everything else, there was no rest for the wicked. And boy, the wicked sure did arrive. Some people entered the scene with anger written all over their faces, and they started to push the crowd around. It seemed that a little dispute was about to happen, and even with the shinobi that was hired thanks to the requests, there wasn’t much they could do in regards to what was well and truly going on. Minako herself, was panicking, she hasn’t really gotten herself into this type of work yet, but she loved doing guard work, she loved protecting others, this shouldn’t be so hard… right??
Biting her lower lip, the female kicked one of the rioters away before she crossed her arms and scanned the battlefield with her blue hues. She wasn’t sure she was ready for what she was about to do, but it was going to now be her job as peacekeeper, to keep the peace and to ensure a peaceful protest would stay peaceful no matter the cost. Meanwhile, everything was being thrown, bottles, bricks, stones, sticks, even stuff like hair pulling and bitch slapping was involved. It was obvious that it needed to be stopped.
“OI!” The female shouted in anger, her eyebrows furrowed and her body language clearly showing that she wasn’t in the mood for this kind of shit. Some of the rioters stopped and looked over to the young Fujiwara, clearly shocked that she grabbed some of their attention. Thanks to some of the other Kunoichi, they pulled some away and even gave out a few shouts of their own. It soon stopped the riot and everyone was looking to the group of ninja’s who were basically doing police work.
“What the hell, guys?!” The female shook her head and looked to a few of them in disappointment. “You’re all adults, and you’re acting like little bloody kids! This is a peaceful protest and you all came to ruin it… shameeeee, shaaammeeeee.”
At that moment, Minako could just imagine of a moment where she would walk epically while ringing a bell, there were people surrounding her and all the while, going on about shaming others and not stopping that god darn bell ringing. If she was going to be honest about it, she found it quite funny, and it made her giggle to an extent. The thought process only stopped when she felt a bottle hit her face, and it felt epic.
“Oi!” Minako exclaimed.
But there was no sign of them, the rioters seemed to be gone already, Minako was shocked by this, but at the same time, of course she would, she was busy thinking about shaming others while ringing a bell with civilians surrounding her and whatnot.
“Who hit me with the bottle??” Minako asked as she scratched the back of her head. She was really confused by this endeavour and she couldn’t even spot the culprits of the bottle throwing.
“They ran off. Luckily though, we done our job, now we can go home and rest, since the protesters have stopped their malarky…”
“Right…”
It was time to go and report what she done, and then go for a nice little rest. It was a long night and an eventful one too.
