Tomo stared into the distance, his eyes unfocused due to intense fatigue. He couldn't remember how long he'd been wandering the desert, though at the very least a few days had passed as he recalled memories of huddling under his black cape as the desert night chilled him. The cold rivaled the snow, or so he believed. He pulled out his waterskin and sipped the last drops contained within. With his head bent back so far, Tomo lost balance and fell flat on his back. The sweat from his brow stung his eyes, but he was too exhausted to care. His brain was scrambled, and that became apparent as he saw an odd streak in the sky. A metallic puppet flew overhead on some kind of board. Tomo heard voices, but not the usual. The voice of a teen boy could be heard, giving monologue about waves, his sister, how his life sucked, he was fourteen, some person with an E name. The Mochizuki followed the unidentified flying object with his eyes and saw a large dust tornado. Tomo heard the word Coralian, but no one ever explained its meaning. He saw a large toilet suck the odd puppet out of the sky before turning into a refrigerator. Out of the fridge appeared the naked form of Aitouka, before her downgrade to personal Toujigikou hand. She cackled loudly as she moved to pick up Tomo. Ahahahahaha! Let's go juggle some jiggle Trap! Tomo flipped himself to his feet and ran from the hallucination, squeezing his eyes shut to avoid seeing the nude image. "What the hell is a Coralian?! How can puppets fly on skateboards?! Flying is illegal! I'M THE ONE WITH THE SUCKY LIFE!!!"
After his scream to the heavens, Tomo heard an abnormal sound, like several people grunting through their noses. He finally turned and opened his eyes to see twelve large boars following behind him. With a new rush of adrenaline, Tomo picked up his pace, all the while rummaging in his bag for the travel guide he'd bought back in Kumogakure. He flipped through the book, desperately searching for the description of the fauna behind him. Finding the page, he skimmed the contents. "Seek higher ground." His eyes darted back and forth, hunting for a safe haven. "WHAT HIGH GROUND?!"
By now the identified Sunan Dustboars were on Tomo's tail. The thought of blowing them up came to mind, but a quick calculation revealed he'd be caught in the blast. He couldn't afford to inflict self-harm in his current situation. Before his jumbled mind could concoct another idea, the young man felt a poke on his rump. Instincts kicked in as he jumped in an attempt to avoid being skewered. But his legs were too low, and thus the boar's snout caught them. Tomo flipped backwards and landed on one of the lagging, yet larger beasts. The new weight on its back caused the swine to let out a loud squeal. It rushed forward, knocking the sounder mate in front of it to the side. The shinobi gripped the boar's mane, holding on for dear life as it barreled forward in a blind rage and panic.
The beast lasted for a long time, its adrenaline rivaling Tomo's. The young man could have released his grip a long time ago, but his judgment was lapsing due to heat stroke. Eventually the two mammals reached the edge of a village. While normally the boar would avoid such a populated place, it was too focused on the human riding it to care. It dashed through the streets, bringing with it mass hysteria. Tomo was too out of it to understand what was transpiring, and could only continue to hold on or risk being trampled in the confusion.
