Physical Description:
Takeshi is a fairly typical young boy. His defining features are his fiery orange eyes and hair, which he usually wears messy. His height and weight both lend themselves to a small stature. Compared to the other boys his age he is shorter and thinner than they are, causing him to stand out in a lineup of his peers. Despite living in the Sunagakure he doesn't tan easily, his fair skin tone makes for a difference in the city. Another quirk to note is his constant tongue sticking out, he does it when he's focusing, thinking, or in any type of stressful environment.
He often sports the same outfit, a short sleeved loose fitting jacket with small pauldrons on the shoulder and an attached tag on the left shoulder. Under that he wears a yellow shirt with a low neckline. He wears a red rope belt around his waist that matches the rope wrapped around his families tantō.
Mental Description:
A firecracker to the spirit he is hot tempered and quick to action. Passionate would be the best way to describe him. Once he sets his mind to something is very difficult to sway away from that initial idea, despite the evidence against him. Driven and ambitious he has big dreams to be a legendary ninja known throughout the land of the shinobi. This overarching dream drives his everyday optimistic and outgoing attitude, for Takeshi, reputation is paramount even at this age.
Occasionally difficult to communicate with his inner fire causes him to be argumentative and arrogant towards peers and superiors alike. He shows great intelligence in the manner he speaks, a trait that belies his outgoing and apparently reckless nature. To those closest to him he tends to be more open and honest than defensive, but it takes him a long time to grow bonds with anyone.
History:
Unsure of his families origins he traveled with his mother across the shinobi world as she acted as a mercenary, moving from city to city taking on odd jobs wherever she could find them. Unaware of his fathers existence at all he was raised by his mother alone with the life of a vagrant, knowing this wasn't the life for a young boy she left him in the Sunagakure to begin his training as a ninja, seemingly attracted to the safety net of living under the desert and thinking that he would be protected from the world there. He struggles to remember her last words or anything else that she had ever told him, as he was never much of a listener.
After spending a year making nothing more than a bare minimum living begging and stealing he opted to join up with the ninja academy and follow his dream of becoming a legendary ninja. Known to his peers as someone who was a street kid and the son of a drifter it seemed as if the world was against him when he started his journey as a ninja. Despite this however he shows the potential and intelligence to become a powerful ninja, If he could harness this potential he would be able to begin his journey, until then he would be a trouble maker to the core. Surrounded by would be ninjas at the academy, belittled by all because of his size and background, it was time for him to have a chance at changing his future. And the future of the ninja world...
