In general, thought Ashura had talent it was sort of wasted; sadly enough there wasn't much in the way of the shinobi life style that really kept his interest. Twas plain out boring with no one to really to laugh and dance with, everyone was just so SERIOUS; it was his family that got him to consider setting the title of 'ninja' aside, since it would just get in the way of his other interests.
Actually, it wasn't that bad. He had more fun with being a street performer with his talents; he could be a loon and have fun without the real worry that he'd have to try to make nice with people. Ashura's mind was a strange place at times, his goal had always been to outshine the neon lights of the village, and he attempted it nightly when his performances had the best impact with the different colored lights and shadows could twist into unique tracers of their own while he moved.
Sure, it wasn't glorious, but someday, when he was performing maybe a producer would come by and figure a way to make him a star of the village; raise the little village idiot up to be something better than he was and have him burn brighter than he ever did as a shinobi.
