Four ANBU surrounded the man as he walked down a series of steps. He stuck out like a sore thumb in a place like this. He was wearing a business suit and carried a briefcase in between his arms as if he was afraid to have it stolen by someone. Normally no one visited the underprison much; the crazies there were likely to kill you. But he was adamant about achieving his mission. That, and the ANBU had reason to let him visit her. He carried something precious even to them in that briefcase. Eventually the party came to a stop outside of a cell that looked very much different than the others. There was a noticeable temperature change first of all, and the woman inside seemed to be in much better conditions than those that this man had seen on his way down.
"Shima Haruka, my name is Inaba Shintaro. I am a lawyer, but not quite the type you are probably used to speaking to." he began and watched as the ANBU opened up the cell. He had the force the door open as it seemed a bit frozen in place. If the masks weren't on their faces, the ANBU would probably have been seen expressing looks of concern to each other.
The cell was small, and the only other place to sit was next to her. While he would have liked to avoid that, it was either that or the toilet in the corner that sat across from her. His eyes shifted to look at her again. "Toilet it is." he thought, moving to the stainless steel seat which could have been in a worse state. Shintaro placed the breifcase on his and and undid the buckle that kept it sealed. The ANBU remained vigilant to protect him from both Haruka and other curious criminals gathering around them.
The woman just watched him silently which was making it hard for him to go on. He was definitely uneasy with the situation. "Guess I should just get to it then..." he mumbled, pulling out a series of papers and setting glasses upon his nose. "Still can't see. The lightning here is terrible." he groaned, adjusting the page back and forth before finding the best possible position. He cleared his throat.
"I Matsuura Nobuyuki of Kumogakure, being of sounds mind and memory, revoke my former Wills and Codicils and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament." he began and then skimmed down the page to the part when Haruka actually came into the picture regarding anything legal. He didn't realize the bomb he just dropped on her either.
"To Shima Haruka, I bequeath my spear. I've never really given it a name, but I suppose if you are hearing this than it's not that big of deal. You were one of the most honorable people I have met, despite the reasons that we were brought together. You are a woman I hope that my own daughter would end up like, should I have had one. Fair and just. One who fights for her goals and beliefs, and isn't afraid to take the hard road in hopes of achieving good. I would have liked to visit you more since putting you in that place, but maybe I will see you again one day, in a better place as they say. Good luck Haruka. Don't give up on the hope of creating a better place for those we leave it to. Sincerely, Nobuyuki."
The lawyer stopped reading and looked up over his glasses to look at how she was processing things before adding. "The Spear mentioned is in holding here in the prison. When and if you get out, you'll be able to pick it up on your way out." he continued, but his voice began to tremble... It was time to go. He quickly hurried out of the cell and the ANBU slammed the door closed once again, ushering the man away...
