Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Name: Hasu Hikuidori
Village: Sand
Branch: Main - Chuunin
Age: 20
Gender: Male
[fontsize="15"]Character Physical Description:[/fontsize]
He is athletically built with an average amount of muscle tone. His hair is black, and his eyes are a gleam of hazel green. His fingers have bite marks on the skin stemming from his horrid habit to bite his fingers and fingernails. Hiku's skin is lightly tan a common trait for those raised under the Suna sun.

Post Puppet Surgery: Hiku now is nothing more than a container. His body however varies, depending on what he feels is suitable. However he has chosen a body that will serve as his main vessel to be identifiable by his comrades. This shell's hair is indigo, and eyes are deep green resembling Hiku's original eyes. The puppet frame is made of wood, and small amounts of metal. The lower half of the puppet's jaw is metal containing a trap itself. His bio-organic containment unit, is installed directly inside of his shell. It creates it's own chakra pathway system throughout the puppet body, and can drift through the pathway freely allowing Hiku a way to keep his container protected.

[fontsize="15"]Character Behavioral Description:[/fontsize]
Hiku is a simple person who likes to keep to himself. He's always one to refrain from talking about himself too much. He also can be described as having a nervous aura around him, mainly tailored from him biting his nails. In reality he's usually lost in thought, lost in his own mind focusing on things that make him happy. He firmly believes that the job shinobi are tasked with could make someone go insane. So instead of getting lost into the job, the life of a shinobi, he gets lost in the pleasures of a normal man. However he isn't always the most friendly person and would sometimes remain quiet to pile up information focused on giving off as little as he can to people. Although respectful in nature he is strong willed and does his best to believe in what he thinks is right. However even he knows sometimes you have to put aside your pride and live in the real world. To him that means being responsible and doing what you're told even when you don't want to. He sums it up to a perk of being a shinobi.

Post Puppet Surgery: With Hiku's change to a puppet his mentality has greatly changed as well. He was starting to see himself in another light, and drastically changed to an entirely new being. Currently his new mindset is still being developed, but he's displaying deeper analytical skills and a greater learning curve. His overall expression for becoming a puppet is, joy. Hiku's new mind is still under construction

My father used to tell me that I would be the flower of infinity one day. He said I would carry our Clan's legacy into greatness one day, and for a time I believed him that is until I became a chuunin. I got to this level thinking I was something special but in truth I was and I am just another cog in the great design of the shinobi world. I guess this is the price I pay for being proficient with my skill lists. I may not agree with everything I have or will have to do but I damn sure will do it because that is my place in this world. Being larger than reality, living past infinity is a hopeless dream and trying to portray anything different is a violation of integrity. I know this good and well now and I will never forget what I've learned.

I can't blame him for being optimistic who wouldn't be optimistic in a Clan that's skills can be so widely used. I should proud to be apart of the Yamanaka clan but I'm not proud. I'm not proud to be a shinobi this is just a job to me. The only job I'm worthy of fulfilling the only job I should be committing to. This is my life as a shinobi, but I guess I have to go back to where it all began just for note's sake.

I was born in the fall plagued by the incoming death of a season. However with death there is rebirth and my family believed that I would be the rebirth in their lives. I guess people just read into things and try to give more meaning to something than it should originally have. It should have been that Im a baby and I'm theirs and they should love me but they turned it into some chase for a prophecy that never existed. A way to boost my confidence probably but cockiness can only go so far.

I grew up spoiled though, given the world or at least as much of it as my parents could offer. Being born and raised in Sunagakure wasn't exactly easy since the village went underground. However it was an ample opportunity for his family to study other plants that would or could never be found unless underground. It would also give them a chance to have a stable business of herbs, medicine, poisons, and flowers. Florists what an extravagant life in the shinobi world right?

I can't say I hated our life style though it was fun my parents were always finding new ways to teach me stuff, and always bought me neat toys my favorite toy had to have been that dart board. Every time I played, and won against dad I got a new reward. Could have been candy, a toy, some yen, or even a new pet. Everything was always a rush in my childhood and it helped to channel all of that energy in the shinobi academy. I mean a kid who had tons of energy trying to become a shinobi had to have been appealing to say the least.

I spent three years in that academy starting from the age of 12. My parents weren't too fond of pushing me too quickly to become a shinobi, I've only recently learned why. Of course it was a great time learning and meeting so many other children whose dreams seemed to soar as high as mine did. It's funny there weren't too many who really wanted to be shinobi all their lives. They wanted to be doctors, council, kages, leaders even heroes. Some kids there wanted to be engineers I even remember one kid saying he wanted to reach the stars. I have to say those days were so much cleaner. Although the few kids who wanted to be shinobi already knew the drill the job brought. They didn't treat shinobi academy like some innocent learning zone like I and so may others did. They treated like it should have been, military instruction. We were and always will be trained to kill that was the lesson I learned as a shinobi.

My genin exam was a prime example of that when we were forced to go under a Genjutsu well hidden I might add. It would have been flawless had the teacher not slacked up. See I never went on record to about my abilities they just knew I was good at throwing kunai. However I had so many more skills that stemmed from my lineage from the Yamanaka clan. It was funny to see the look on his face when I exposed a flaw in one of his illusions. The proctor needless to say passed me once I figured out our death mission was a fake. Although I never understood why they removed me so abruptly. I was instantly moved to a different exam with other kids adept at Genjutsu one that dealt with Taijutsu and I managed to survive with my skills using projectiles. I didn't understand what those kids were going through and why most of them came out different people for better or for worse. It was mental breaking for them, because they assumed every child good with Genjutsu, good enough to figure out the exam should be placed in a physical exam to break them in a different kind of way.

I remember walking through our garden with my parents the day before my 11th birthday as they explained that there were many ways to accomplish a goal. Our clan specialized in taking two approaches to problems. Using their Genjutsu or their flowers. Their toxins hand crafted infused in each petal or poisoning the mind of their opponent through pure willpower. My father began to shift the garden into terrifying trees with fangs of wood and blood. My parents disappeared and I was left alone surrounded by the deadly trees. They ran red and it scared me but then he whispered in my ear and said Don't ever let the fear control you, then my mother whispered to me Always remember that you are stronger than anyone in your mind. I believed them and found a hole in the trees to escape to and make my way to them in another garden full of light and bright, warm colors. They welcomed to their garden of eden where life thrived and I was excited to be there. My parents embraced me telling me how proud they were that I trusted my talents and made my way to them.

It felt good to be accomplished, it felt great to succeed and even better to make my parents proud. At the end of it all the garden shifted back to normal and those loving parents of mine had a large cake out and ready to celebrate my birthday. Apparently it took me 12 hours to break out of that Genjutsu and even though it took so long they were so proud of me. I mean come on I was 11 but at least I survived it all. That's what they were proud of me surviving.

My Genin years were simple and clean. I did little missions here and there and accompanied scout groups into the caverns in Sunagakure. I even had a few hunts for some small time criminals in our underground sanctuary. Every other day I would train myself practicing my throwing skills, practicing my Genjutsu with my parents, or learning how to control Ninjutsu with my mind. Everything came easy and with the guidance of two loving parents things were accomplished so much easier.

I remember when I first learned how to mind switch with people. Infiltrating minds is such a powerful weapon but not one I could ever completely master. However I wondered what would have happened if I had given more time to my studies. The day things began to change had to have been an expedition for some fungi. A mission requested from my parents and I chose to take it along with four other gennin and one Jonin. We entered the cavern and began our search and everything was going normal until I decided to get adventurous. I left the group and began searching for the fungi on my own wanting to impress everyone. However I came upon something far worse. A corpse, lying on the ground rotting literally maggots eating their flesh. I lost my lunch all over the corpse and began to rest on a wall as I whimpered. I had never seen a dead body before and this was just too creepy.

I planted my head into my knees and began to sit there waiting for help. It felt like an eternity of waiting. There was a few footsteps and I remember looking up to see a pair of red eyes in the distance. They glowed with such malice such evil intent, I ran as fast as I could but of course this beast pursued. It didn't take long for the creature to catch up but I was small and dumb. I jumped into a crevice hoping to get away and by the time I got to it the creature had already disappeared. I waited scared out of my mind until a cracking sound was heard. It sounded like someone breaking the rock formation and then a gray claw broke in and scratched my chest. It hurt so bad that I cried letting my pain overtake me. I layed there on my back as the scratching grew louder.

Then something unexpected happened. A rock slide started and I was hit in the head by a piece of debris. I fell out and then awoke what seemed like a quick second. However it wasn't my squad that got me it was a squad of med nin. The med nin brought me back to the village. Apparently two other children died, and the Jonin lost his arm. I felt like crap, like I was the cause of all that pain because I didn't listen. I couldn't bare to be a shinobi anymore, but this wasn't a life one could always just quit. I tried to push the natural talent deep below but it was hard so I did other things to help me with that. I worked in the garden, and I worked at the shop my parents owned. An equipment store for shinobi would never go out of business especially when conjoined with it you had the best line in poisons and herbs. Even had a floral section which I tended to the most. I loved those flowers, the idea of life being created was just far better than destroying. It was bad though, the ability to destroy people was so natural just seeing somebody I would think of how I would have to try and immobilize them if they became violent. Being left alone with your thoughts can bring the worst out of you.

I couldn't stop training even though I wanted to I couldn't bring myself to do it. I trained in seclusion keeping my skills on a cap. My father helped me with my mental training so I could strengthen my Genjutsu and overcome my mental block for being a shinobi. He extensively searched my mind, and memories to help me get past it. (Well the ones I allowed him to pry that deep into without resistance. Gotta keep the mature content to myself). It took me years to even get a breakthrough but my father never stopped helping he always persisted. I love my father he is a good man and I guess his good nature helped me overcome whatever block I had. See I had to accept that accidents happen and that cavern caving in probably wasn't my fault. The creature that attacked me, can be overcome and I can't allow that to keep me from doing what my heart told me I believed in. However it wasn't the way of the shinobi I believed in. After that experience I wanted to become a protector and never allow harm to befall the people around me if I could protect them.

So I began to work hard again I began to beef up on my training and by the age of 17 I decided to go for the Chuunin exams. I felt as though my skills were far more adapted than those around me. My Genjutsu was on a whole new level and my skills with poisons were advancing but I was still inexperienced still not on the level of Jonin but this step past the Chuunin exams would be the stepping stone to my path of power. I would begin the exam in a secluded underground (under underground) building. Our mission objective was to destroy any apparitions that appeared. Apparently this building was moved underground due to some necromancer like activities. The men who committed these atrocities were taken into custody but claimed it was too late. Suna would fall to the dead soon enough and the spirits were already beginning their phases. Myself and seven others were tasked with entering the building and exterminating the spirits in their infancy. I thought it was easy enough but something was off about this exam.

So we entered the structure that reeked of rotting meat. They paths were full of black smog and the walls almost seemed ancient. and began to make groups of two. We traveled through the pathways running searching for any sign of these apparitions. Upon coming to a room that had a red fog I stopped. My teammate was older than I more experienced, so when I pointed out the red fog they were already at the door. I was out of practice when it came to working in a unit but I damn sure knew what to do to survive. I hadn't entirely slouched so I reached for my pouch and pulled out three flowers. They were angel trumpets an exotic flower found far away. My family had began growing them with chakra and removed the toxins within them to help with their hand crafted poisons. I however grew them, extracted the toxins and then enhanced them with chakra to reinforce the edges of the petals. In a way I had a source of unlimited weapons. Who would assume death from flower petals?

I stayed still against the wall as he entered and upon his I would wait for his signal to move in. I waited a good ten seconds and no signal came. Something was very off, and needless to say I didn't like what was going on. I peeked my head into the room with the red fog. It was like a sick lab with ritual markings all over the room. There was a lot of blood too and my partner was nowhere in site. I sighed, entering the room bracing myself for the smells that entered my nose. It was horrid but it couldn't be worse than a carrion flower. I scanned the room only for my concentration to be broken by the sound of rustling. It came from the hallway and I darted there. I saw a shade run off down the hall of course I followed. However as I followed I would leave a trail of flower petals like a bread crumb trail.

It seemed like tailing this creature was going to take an eternity but I was up to the challenge. I kept the tail warm and eventually we came to an alleyway. The figure turned towards me and stared. It's eyes were deep red, and some of it's body was gray. The rest was like a shadow almost. I felt fear, I felt anger, I felt unfocused because this creature was an enemy I had once encountered. It began to grow in size and then I stopped thinking. I felt a rush of anger, everything I had done in my life was because of what this creature did to me. Although it was my own weakness that allowed me to become tormented and my own stupidity for running off without my team. I could've helped them in that cave in to think that people who could level buildings couldn't beat nature. I began to think again allowing the training my father and I went through in order to overcome my fear. That's when it hit me like a ton of bricks. This was a genjutsu and my fear was feeding this thing. Shinobi's are still people (some of them). We can still feel fear but it's how you overcome it. So I began to overcome it literally screwing the idea that this thing was stronger than I was. It began to shrink and I grew and with all my chakra I could muster I became a spirit of flowers. I manifested the latent abilities of the Yamanaka and created an astral form and began to tear the illusion down around me. Walls began to turn into fog and soon the creature itself began to disappear however I didn't let this stop me from my next satisfying action, when I tore my hand through it's fake chest. Felt good as it howled in pain and then disappeared.

Like a snap my world went black. I awoke in a room with stone tables where the other participants rested. Another Genjutsu exam but this time based to bring out our fear. These exercises were the most practical in an underground world but I survived and surpassed the dreams. The proctors were pleased and they handed me a new emblem and a vest. My last orders were to report to the Kage tower for processing as a Sunan shinobi....

-2 Years Later-

I hadn't done too much in my last two years. My parents had begun an expedition to expand their knowledge of the world while I stayed in Sunagakure being a Shinobi and protecting the village. I had lost drive to leave village, drive to advance further. Without my parents here it seemed so trivial at this point I had became a semi accomplished shinobi and no reason to show off any longer. I didn't have to impress anyone anymore and that's when I started to have doubt. Maybe my only goal was to make my parents proud but even then they went off and did their own thing.

When you do nothing but think for 2 years things start to come into perspective. I had been basing my goals in others but now was the time for me to do better. I had to commit to this job and that's where this chapter in my life begins. I will continue to make these entries in a journal and will one day pass them down to the next generation of Hasu.

An army had waves, and Suna had an ocean. Earlier that day at some point a creature had unknowingly, and forcibly tried to eradicate a sector of Sunagakure. The Medical facility was the place it striked, was the home operations of the healing in Sunagakure. "Medical shinobi, patients, nurses, doctors, elderly. This creature doesn't lack brains I'll give it that. You cut off the healing department of white mages and the rest fall to injury. Definitely a smart creature, I can only hope the squadron attacking it is still alive. I hope I'm not too late. Hiku hadn't been there for the first wave of attacks. He was escorting villagers to safer locations while the shinobi of the village tried to contain the monster rampaging in their village. Hiku could not stand not being there to help his brethren fight a dangerous target, a village scale threat. What kind of Main Branch shinobi would he be if he didn't report to the battlefield once his group of civilians were safe. Everyone was putting in their part, even the Academy Students who were now on guard under Genin and lower rank Chuunin at the safe zones. What if this creature had friends, or superiors, this situation could potentially destroy Sunagakure, and what little life they had left in these underground caverns.

Apparently the attacks were changing positions and now the creature was within the Toraono Dojo apparently blowing it up and destroying it to pieces. Radio calls were all over the place, this was getting nuts. "What kind of damned creature is this here. What exactly have we stumbled upon in these damn caverns. What if it's a legacy of the First Men? Something forgotten but still held this much power. There are a rare few ancient beings in the village, but I doubt any of them know what this attack is about or what's causing. If they did I'm sure I would have heard a plan of attack on the radio. I'll need to be cautious when I reach the dojo in fact it wouldn't hurt to go in there with a minor preparation. Hiku would continue sprinting towards the dojo, and multitask crafting a few hand seals and then releasing a large amount of chakra. His body would begin to fade and manifest chakra energy around itself. He was being covered by a spiritual like form of chakra surrounded by flower petals as a halo of petals formed around his head. His mind was so clear when he used this technique. Everything around him became easier to decipher, easier to understand, it was the ultimate state of mind. Hiku would invoke the petals around him to form, spread and create something larger than Hiku, probably ten times his size. Wood would spread forming a harder casing of the creature and then in it's final stages a serpent like creature would be formed from his petals.

Image:
barkion.PNG

This serpent would follow Hiku as he sped up to get to the battfield quicker. Upon reaching the Toraono dojo it was in shambles, there were corpses, and a massive chakra signature being formed at the other side of the structure. Hiku would move through the battlefield as his serpent followed him slithering through the battle field moving aside debris from it's path. Within a matter of seconds Hiku reached the site of the massive chakra to come to a puzzling scene of an ensuing struggle. There was this weird bull like creature trying to use it's chakra to sway energy, and another group, of Sunan shinobi attempting to restrain the creature. There were plenty of chakra signatures far stronger than Hiku's but not even with all of those powerful chakras could they fell the beast. Hiku wanted to help more than anything so he sent his Serpent in to attack while he would fire a jutsu of his own off.

The serpent would try and move as quickly as it could drawing closer to the creature only so it could release a massive amount of petals to use as projectiles for a taijutsu oriented attack. Five clusters would begin to form and attempt to attack the djinn with a jutsu known as Silver Stream. As those clusters would be flung at the creature Hiku would unleash a jutsu known as Pit of Crimson Tears, to create a large wooden venus flytrap that would attempt to trap the creature between it's teeth. Wood jutsu were already in a zone of their own being a more physical form of chakra manipulation however this was not a normal jutsu. This is one of his own "Reality Genjutsu" as he liked to call them. A ninjutsu that strikes the mind like a genjutsu allowing the effects to be strongly felt within the very senses of whoever it was striking. In this form (Name of the Rose) his mental capacity and genjutsu ability were far stronger. Hiku was fresh in the battle he had plenty of chakra, and a lot of pent up aggression against the creature who sought to destroy their home. However in case he was attacked before he could attempt to bind the creature in the Venus Flytrap he would use a technique known as Body Flicker Shuriken.

After attacking the creature Hiku's serpent would stay out there trying to grab the monster's attention while Hiku would rendezvous with the other shinobi. If he reached them he would tell them in a quick paced tone "My name is Hikuidori, I'm of Yamanaka lineage and I can use wood jutsu. I helped a group of civilians get to a safer location. What's going on here and how do I help? It didn't matter what group of shinobi he got to, as long as he made his way to one of them and began to try and assist in any ways possible.

-Using Name of the Rose [Master] (Yamanaka Bloodline Jutsu) and Steel Dragon [Master] (Serpent) before entering the battlefield.

-Serpent (Steel Dragon) will use Silver Stream to attack the creature. My weapon can be found in my FAQ and they are coated with the Yamanaka's Kimberlily poison.

-I will attempt to use Pit of Crimson Tears [Master] (Venus Flytrap). In the event that I'm attacked before I can use this jutsu I'd like to counter by using Body Flicker Shuriken [Master]

[Topic Entered: Yay genies :D]

"They all look like old battle swords." Hiku thought in his head silently as he watched the impending doom rise and fall. The Djinn who was still barking loudly, and flexing it's muscles had finally fell short having his energy sapped and contained. It seemed as if these multiple seals placed upon it were to finally draining it. To think not only did this creature breach Sunan's defenses it rampaged this long and was just now being stopped. He looked at each face, each shinobi standing within his vicinity, desperately trying to kill this creature. Each soldier, holding wear and tear, like weapons that had just got done slicing through thousands of enemies. The Sunagakurian people, they were "Hardcore" and this scene was close to a portrait of pain and desire. Their pain would bring their desire, Hiku would make sure of it. Today he would give it his all to destroy the creature that had trampled over his home, and harmed his family.

The Kazekage, who should be called so rightly after this day faced the creature in head to head combat. He had done something to his blade as it seemed to change shape. He could only wonder how much damage it could do, when it seemed as though the mass of petal projectiles he used upon the creature held no effect. His jutsu (Pit of Crimson Tears) had barely taken off the ground yet and it seemed as though it had no effect at the current moment. "Hmmm this is weird, the damn jutsu didn't even finish forming. It's going to slow at this rate I'll have to try something stronger. I I'll wait for an.." and his inner thoughts were silenced as the Kazekage fell a wound upon the powerful creature.

The creature however brushed him aside, however only to be pulled by shadows. The more Hikudori looked around the battle field, the more he found that these shinobi, his family at arms, were all monsters for the most part. A smirk spread across his face as more shinobi attacked giving this creature a brutal lashing. However at the conclusion of it all this creature was warped within shadows, being done in to whatever works were inside. "Nasty technique there, I wonder how he managed to catch it." Hikuidori didn't do much just yet. He allowed the others their dues while he and his serpent continued to be patient. Hiku was charging chakra trying to make the jutsu he had laid out stronger if at all possible. As a summoning specialist shinobi Hikuidori was well aware that he would have to concentrate to keep his conjured creatures in balance. That along with his ability of genjutsu could possibly create the opening everyone needed.

A man with a strong presence around him began to take lead. The Sennin Toraono Kuro, would explain that he had a technique to revive the many the Djinn had fell. Hiku's brows rose slightly, showing that he had an interest in this matter. In all of his shinobi life he had never heard of someone resurrecting so many people. There were some rumors of shinobi out there who could revive the dead, but none on this scope. With a small nod he would look towards the Kazekage to see what he made of all this. It seemed as though they were expected to believe in a plan that no one else could verify. However this creature's existence made Hiku believe in things even he thought were too impossible to happen. Kuro began to give out instructions about which body parts to bind, and he even knew of Hiku's elemental affinity just by sensing him. Those abilities of his were becoming more wild by the second, but Hiku would make no complaint he'd only try to help.

<B>"I just have to bind his legs? Should be easy enough then I've been charging up the chakra for a jutsu. If you look on the ground near the creature you'll see some wood poking out of the ground. Well let's just say those legs are about to be my creation's lunch." Hiku would begin to form the horse seal, and charge chakra through the ground. Vines began to spring from the ground and charged straight towards the Djinn, as Hiku used the Vine Tangle Jutsu (Master Rank). The plant life, attempted to wrap themselves around the Djinn's legs. The jutsu from earlier, the Pit of Crimson Tears took form now as it's timer was apparently finished. A row of wooden teeth, would rise from the ground as a large bulbous venus flytrap sprung to life opening it's large jaws. The Venus Flytrap would begin to propel itself circling the Djinn. Hiku would turn to Kuro and begin to speak. "I like creating things and that Jutsu is created from my very mind. See my Wooden Ninjutsu strike more than just the person they strike the psyche. It's like a living creature itself really one that could deteriorate someone's brain. I'm going to attempt to layer the Djinn when all have applied their appropriate binds. Basically I'm going to have my Venus Flytrap eat the Djinn whole. A safe containment unit when you think of it. When all is done I can open it up and let you go in to do your technique in silence. I do have one proposition though. Allow me to accompany you. The Djinn is weaker and I'm pretty sure you haven't had any Yamanaka clansmen try to pry into the creature's mind have you? I can take control of it's body maybe, and disrupt it further. In this form my mental capabilities are multiplied ten fold. I can do this..." He'd turn back to the Djinn staring at it intently waiting for the moment to allow his pit to attack. His Steel Serpent (Dragon) stood behind him the whole time constantly watching Guard. Hiku was very good about covering his bases. One of such he wanted to cover only when the time needed to. If they could not contain the beast he'd have to go out on a full on assault.
- Using Vine Tangle [Master] to bind the Djinn's legs.
- Using Pit of Crimson Tears [Master] from the last post in this one. Since it wasn't mentioned, I RP'd it as growing while I focused more chakra into it.
- I'm maintaining the Name of the Rose [Master], and Steel Dragon [Master]
- If the creature escapes I want my Steel Dragon to attack relentlessly with all the noob power in the world yo~ (Basic Strikes all day)

[fontsize="12"]The new plan began to fall into place as everyone's elemental binding took their respected paths. The Kazekage summoned "something" this thing was unfathomable in itself, as it held an otherworldly chakra. Lava began to pour out of it, and Sousuke, quickly changed the shape of the lava into the form of a molten sword. Once it struck the Djinn it began to warp itself around him helping with the binding process. The wood and the sands surrounded him shortly after following the lead, of the greats in the village. The shadow demon also pulled out a gate of his own. This was one Hiku knew though, the "Gate of Enma" one of the highest forms of jutsu, it was pure chakra forming something incredible. More and more, Hiku's once less fanciful mindset began to change. He was being faced with Jutsu and creatures he didn't know existed or never believed them to exist before. This moment here was entirely different, this creature broke all walls of existence and this technique Kuro was preparing was even more startling.

Back into focus on the situation Hiku "To treat life and death with no consequence is too strong a technique. You must be careful." Hiku's rose petal crown began to wither. His time in the spiritual rose form would only last for so much longer. Silently he would begin his Mind Body Switch Technique. In order to beat the creature he wanted to destroy it's mind. He would dissect any information he could, but the main objective was to obliterate it's mind. With the Name of the Rose active he could enter the Djinn's body more openly. Hiku charged forward as a veil of petals formed around his body. They began to twirl and Hiku disappeared from sight as he collided with the Djinn.

The mind of the Djinn was a void of thoughts, emotions and voices. The dark empty void was cracking and decaying into an even greater world of darkness. His mind was being destroyed. There were clashing forces in the mind of this creature and it's actions were being unraveled. Hiku saw chains being broken as the life light of the creature began to disappear. Hiku could see a thought being written out to him. It was fading, as was the grasp of Hiku's jutsu. His vision began to go dark and then in an instant he was flung into light.

His body was literally forced from the Djinn's body and his spiritual form the Name of the Rose had timed out. Hiku stood gathering himself what together as he was sure the others would ask what happened and why he came from the Djinn's body. "I saw his shattering mind before my technique timed out. This creature, is nothing more than an ancient being's puppet. The creature was a lock of some sort, and by us killing it, something else unlocked. The chains in it's mind were releasing something, like energy to feed to this being named Jeisui... The Forever Chained. I don't know who that is, but that's who's controlling or rather was controlling this creature. These things are like bodies, for Jeisui and he has more hidden under Sunagakure. I think three or four more. There was so much more information but I could only snag that small bit." Hiku would look around at the destruction around them. He was done speaking, so much was going on and now he knew what the Djinn was going through. It was a puppet, forced to do someone's bidding.

However people were alive, those killed were now walking among the survivors. You would think Hiku would be more than estatic, you would almost expect it, however he was just there. While this was such an amazing turn out, it's far too powerful. To be able to control life and death on such a scale. While he only revived today what would happen if he decided to reverse it. Another sigh escaped his lips as he felt nothing but mixed emotions about this ending. The only way to even have some type of grasp on the situation was to find out what this secret technique was and how it was obtained.

Hiku would approach Kuro and try to lock eyes. He wanted the demon Sennin's full attention because after this, the man should expect his people to ask questions. "Thank you, because of your technique everyone was saved. I have to ask you though, what is this technique you've used? Kuro what are you?" It seemed like a simple question, but Hiku was sure it had a vast amount of answers.

[MFT][/fontsize]

Hiku stood silently listening to Kuro's explanation. It didn't seem like there was much to his technique but there scope was far larger than he made it seem. Is there more to this than he's letting on.. Hiku thought to himself, wondering what he should believe but there was no matter to make things more strained. People "deserved" to be happy after all that had occurred here. Hiku would do his own research on the techniques Kuro spoke, and would formulate his own resolve on the matter. However he would leave the demon sennin, with a sense of security. "I'll keep your secret... However I'm not sure if everyone will. This is going to be a really hard thing to cover up you know this don't you?" He'd let that linger, knowing it must have been tough on the sennin. With so much power, and now revealing it, he must have felt more than nervous about it all. Hiku could only imagine the incoming problems. He'd turn tail and begin to leave the area, leaving the great scene of destruction and happiness behind him.

Re: [Hasu Hikuidori]

[spoilername="First Revelation of the Forgotten Dunes"]
The wind was bitter and chilled inside of the cavern nature spawn inside of the dark earth where Sunagakure had made their home. Hikuidori calmly walked the woods keeping himself on guard in case he was either being spied on or plotted to be attacked. Ever since that incident in the village anything was possible. Petals constantly circled his body in a protective manner to keep him prepared to instantly do damage. You could never be too careful in this world, and especially in a place such as these woods that by fact shouldn't exist. However the power people like Hikuidori and other shinobi, held within them could change that thought. "The power of chakra is a powerful conduit to the elements and energy itself. It allows so many things to transpire in our world and everything still has not been revealed. I don't believe some gods have passed down these powers though, I can't even begin to think I'm one of those religious nuts." Hiku couldn't stand it when people would rather praise some force unknown than to believe in themselves. He believed that sometimes things happened because a person has willed them to. Not because it was fate, or the direction of the gods. It was the person's choice, or so Hiku liked to believe. Even though he felt like this, it seemed as though with every step that he took within these woods made him confront his own beliefs. It was as though he was bound to believe that their energy they could tap into, their chakra was forced from some faceless gods.

As Hiku continued walking he found himself to be slightly tired. Each stepped slugged a little more but he was so lost in thought he never took time to rest. "I think that we're the evolution of the world, and our chakra is a cause of our own spirit. I'm sure there are creatures of the Elements who exist who can control chakra as well. That doesn't mean our world is littered with these abnormally mythical beliefs... But these woods, they came from no where. I can say it's chakra, but does chakra really do this? I wonder what the first men did to make a place like this. I wonder why it's down here and how it could survive under these conditions. Amazing but it's got to be some energy source.." The forest created seemingly out of no where were thought to be remnants of a harmonious relationship between mother earth and the founders themselves, the First Men. Everything about this place screamed out that it was different. There were odd creatures here, and the trees were partly rock. However to Hiku this was even more evidence that their world thrived and changed through the power of chakra. He believed through training his mind and soul he could become stronger. So he travelled these woods and trained using his unique nature oriented ninjutsu and his flower petal taijutsu. His genjutsu had no place here but it did when it came to meditation. However just walking through here was tiring he lost sight of his abilities when he over exerted himself. After training with such a taxing ninjutsu like the wood and flower ones, doing the things he did, and then breaking them back down to the earth to cover his tracks. It was never a good idea to walk and keep a horde of flowers floating around him to protect himself from any unwanted threats.

Hiku continued walking through the forest feeling his footsteps get heavy with each one. The young shinobi eyed a tree, strong and sturdy he thought in his mind as he collapsed onto it. He would slide down the tree and turn his head to the sky to survey the underground sanctuary for nature. It was peaceful, but it would never see it's true beauty beneath these rocks. Will I be the one who will never see true beauty either? Will Suna ever know it's former glory? We are strong but being under ground I believe we've lacked power. The power to stand among the other titans of the Shinobi world. We are truly limited in these underground caverns, I don't see what hope they think we have down here. He would close his eyes and take a moment to drift into the world of sleep and allow himself to drift into a slumber.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The world around him felt warm. There was a sun and a green pasture littered with lush fruit trees. A clear lake sparkled in front of him and animals were covering the vicinity. Hiku was happy here and his birthday suit wasn't odd in the slightest bit. It was apparent he was in a dream but it felt real to Hiku. He hadn't been topside that much when he did go the Sun was the most amazing thing out there. It was amazing to him, how refreshing those beams could be. The animals here so vibrant and full of color but their eyes were weird, oddly glowing full of energy. It mattered not to Hiku though for he found something here which he could indulge in and enjoy.

Hiku would walk through this forest of lush and beautiful scenery with a horde of animals following him. Each one clearly different in size, shape, type, fur/skin and even gender (of course each one was either male or female sorry folks no mixes on that). Even though they were all so different their eyes all had that ominous glow to them. It didn't bother Hiku, but it was something he noted when observing them. It was truly wonderful here though and as a show of his belief in the fantasy Hiku would grab a fruit and wipe it clean on his bare skin. Before he could attempt to take a bite of it a voice rang through his head blaring "Don't eat that fruit!" He stopped jerking his head to look around. There was no one but him and the animals though. Each animal was attending to themselves playing or grooming, why would they be talking to him? He shrugged it off and took a bite of the round orange fruit. The taste was so explosive it was like sex in his mouth satiating his non existent hunger. As he ate the fruit the world began to lose it's color and it's warmth. The animals began to disappear and Hiku was left in a world of pitch black.

"In this world there is only dark. Everything is so lost, so misplaced so open to chaos. However there are forces of order, but they have been led astray they do not know their way, because they do not know their freedom. What do you know? WHAT could you understand? Your mind is not open it is closed off to the mind of a fool. You are nothing to gawk at, nothing to be proud of you are a disease meant to be cut out from this world. I will erase you all." A blazing emerald flame pierced the darkness creeping around Hiku's body. He gasped reaching for air as the emerald flames wrapped around his neck. Hiku struggled but to no avail these ghastly flames had their grip on them and there was nothing he could do. He still tried never stopping and as he struggled more forcefully a figure began to rise from the emerald flames.
Ring_Djinn_by_cristianmontes.jpg

"YOU STILL STRUGGLE MONGREL! YOU WILL LEARN THE ERROR OF YOUR WAYS!" The creature clenched his fists and Hiku began to burn and in his mind his insides were being burned from the inside out.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________

As he was being burned his eyes began to open. Hiku's mind had lost itself inside of his memories and his dreams. The djinn a creature bent on destroying their village. Another suspect of myth or chakra? Was that creature power beyond their grasps with limited thinking? Or was it something entirely created? Maybe they were dealing with a Triple S class Ninja at the time and didn't even know it. Not that he knew too many of those kind of shinobi who existed. He looked around surveying the area making sure no one was around.

Was that just a trick it all seemed so real... I wonder if I really am losing my mind. Trying to grasp things too powerful for me... It's so unlike my character I could have sworn I changed. Am I still that impulsive kid who saw every opportunity as a chance to advance? I don't know something just doesn't feel right. Hikuidori would gather himself taking a deep interval of breaths in order build some type of rhythm in himself. When one is faced with a mental crisis it's best to take a few breaths and recover yourself. Remember your training Hiku. Your father trained you overcome these kind of things don't lose sight of yourself. You faced something stronger then you, that's fine, continue training get stronger and break challenges like that so it never happens again. You must push yourself, it would be what your parents wanted for you. Hiku grinned slightly, thinking about his family. He loved his parents they were extremely supportive of him. His father did supported him and kept him on a straight path. They were a happy family, but the rest of his extended family he couldn't say the same for. They seemed to have a chip on their shoulder like they had something lost or something to prove.

He shrugged off of his thoughts of his family and went back to his goal for being in the Elder Woods this evening. "I was here to find peace... and tran... Why am I lying to myself like this? It's not like there's anyone else out here. I know why I came here, I came for power and that's that. I wanted to be stronger and never have to deal with these incidents of weakness again. My village can't be weak, I can't be weak, I have something to prove...." It was there he realized what a hypocrite he was. Hiku had a chip on his shoulder, it was why he didn't train as a shinobi seriously for some years. "I still can't believe they're gone. My parents they were supposed to be here, they were supposed to be here to help me realize my dreams. At least a little longer to keep me on the straight and narrow. I feel like a blundering idiot without dad's guidance. It seemed like everything was simple when they were here but they left me to this shinobi lifestyle promising to write. Yeah they've kept that bargain they still left me for some dreams outside of Sunagakure. Sometimes I think they're cowards running from the underground prison this place has been instead of finding a way to free our village!" His head hung low for a moment as he thought about how quickly he had turned on his parents. They were so good to him but they left and he felt some kind of way about them leaving him. It was like he was alone, but Hiku had to be stronger than that. Mentally he was being weak right now and that was no good for a genjutsu practitioner one needed a clear mind. His mind was anything but clear and he figured now was the best time to get it clear.

The young shinobi would sit down, on the ground in a more open area of the forest. One with many formations and an overlooking view of the abysmal rock pits. He crossed his legs and sat still emptying his mind onto a mental desk. It helped to visualize things in your mind, they became clearer, more define and with anything you could create, you could destroy. Hiku took his time sifting through his dream of the lush forest and the djinn. I clearly was not supposed to eat that fruit. Things went to hell in that heaven like garden until I messed up and consumed the fruit. Who was that voice though? It must have been me right? It wasn't mom or dad definitely didn't feel like them, but it didn't feel like me either. I have to control my power better I don't need to start having a meltdown here it was just a dream. Like the time that creature injured me in the cave, it happened but it passed. I can't let the past keep bogging me down I have to trudge forward. I know that if I believe in my- and before he could finish his statement there was a low humming, like a flute was being played in the distance. Hiku became distracted and then he heard that voice again like a soothing melody.
[fontsize="14"]"Come to the Lake, if you wanna find what you're seeking"[/fontsize]
The Starlit Lake was one of the most beautiful places one could go when visiting the Elder Woods. It was still early and there were not many people if any at all in this area. Now was a better time than any to investigate that voice Hiku had heard. Ever since the attack on the village things in Hiku's mind have not been the same. He's been on edge, he'd been more paranoid than usual and to be honest he felt as though he was losing a grip on his reality. The doctors at the medical posts said this was post traumatic stress. I've had it before it's mostly like just a recurring state. What the hell do they know. I'm out there protecting them while they sit and hide. I can't blame them just wish I didn't feel like I had so much pressure. I'm just lashing out, get it together Hiku you're following strange noises and voices you think you hear. It was crazy to believe that he had heard something telling him to go to the lake. Although the voice felt so surreal so, true and he couldn't help but feel maybe there was something out here.

He let his head hang low as he took a glance at the lake. It was sparkling, beautiful and he could imagine a world where animals thrived. He imagined a worl where the animals could live in peace and harmony. Where nature would thrive and be ... lush. He cocked his head to the side as he began to explore the sparkling lake's borders, trying to get a feel for something. Something is so damned familiar about this lake. I feel like I've been here before like maybe I'm just supposed to be here because... I've seen this. It clicked in his head as he made it to the west end of the lake. The formation of the trees, the scenery, the rocks it reminded him of a more lifeless version of his dream. This place was too much of a reminder, too much of a coincidence and Hikuidori didn't know what to think. Did he want to come here secretly? "It's hardly like this place is a secret?I've been here before and I know a lot of others who have. I don't see why I would think someone would tell me to come here like it was some secret zone. Oh mother Suna I am going crazy. I'm even mentioning something I don't necessarily believe in." He chuckled one more time before he facing the way he came. As he moved one step a voice rang through his head. This time more energetic, but still soothing.

"Hey dummy! You think we led you all the way out here because we wanted you to think you were crazy? If that was the case I'd have thrown you pictures of the Kazekage naked! Turn your butt back around and swim out into the lake. I would like to have a conversation with you and the place you hold beneath my power!" Hiku's eyes widened, he knew that wasn't his mind. It didn't even sound like his narrative voice he used when talking to himself in silence. This was entirely different and he knew it deep within him. "So the spirit of a loud mouthed young girl is talking down to me.. I'm definitely going insane. My mind must be infected or something... If this truly is coming from some powerful being give me a sign!?"There was nothing but silence for a moment. He believed his mind to end it's trickery and attempted to take another step. However this step would fall victim of the phantom hindrance as well.

A louder more mature voice spoke now. It held wisdom in it's voice as it said, "Please turn around and gaze on the spirits that have summoned you." Hiku stopped once more and turned around in a rage to see something that would betray his mind.
2.jpg

Three what presumed to look like fairies, stood on top of the water within the middle of the lake. Each one held a rock glowing with a vibrant energy. There was a green, blue and red spirit floating lightly above the lake. Hiku rubbed his eyes believing his mind to truly be poisoned. "I am goin-" Before he could finish his declaration of himself believing he was going crazy, Hiku was cut off by one of the spirits. The green one to be exact. "Hey sorry about Red's little burst there but she is fire after all. It's in her nature. I'm Namoko, that's Rioka, the ugly red head. The blue one is Sukumo. We are the Spirits of the Starlit Lake entrusted to us by the First Men and Mother Suna herself. I'll let Suku take over here. The green one, Namoko, would sit on her orb as Sukumo would begin to speak.

"Welcome to the realm of the Ebb Keepers of the Starlit Lake. We are messengers of the flow of the universe. The natural energy that surrounds you all, and as some of you would call it "chakra". We were crafted from a group of your ancestors who had found enlightenment in Mother Earth herself or as you call her Mother Suna. While people have many interpretations of the gods we are the rawest form of their beliefs. We are the elements that surround the energy known as chakra. We are the keepers of this flow. However our link with your forefathers and Mother Suna has become drastically weakened. As you can see this part of the Elder Woods is already becoming withered. I fear we do not have much time. You have a mental link with this land something many others can never hope to attain. We have chosen you Hasu Hikuidori to contain the energy of the Flow and use it to restore glory to this land. You will consume our power and become one with the power of the flow.

Hiku stood there staring at the blue fairy and began to sigh. He wasn't sure if he was still trapped in his mind or if he was really knee deep in this. He would begin to chuckle and then would wipe his face. "Oh this has got to stop. I don't know who I pissed off but somebody please stop giving me those drugs. This is crazy I can't be..." His face was firmly smacked by the red fairy as her eyes began to well up with what looked like lava.

"You think this is funny!? We're going to cease to exist and our mother, our land, may wither and die. You ignorant turd, you can't even begin to understand what we feel. You want to know something else? I know everything about you. Like why you bite your nails, how you're afraid of being weak and getting beaten. You're too afraid to live your own damn life it's pathetic. You're so bent up on power you don't even see that it's in front of you. Power, Knowledge, Experience, Feelings, we have all of it stored inside of this forest. You think that you're something well try being in tune with a myriad of lives and energies at once you imbecile. Oh by the way something else you might want to know. You'll be hitting the floor in a few moments. Have fun.

Hiku's eyes widened again as his heart began beating like crazy. He lost his focus and then his vision began to fade. Eveyrthing blurred and he screamed out in agony because this was the worst pain he'd ever experienced. He heard a murmor in his head, and he realized where he was going, inside of his own mind with a bunch of foreign collectibles gift of Rioka. He was expelled from his mind and floated through a gray space. Different colored spectrum began circling the gray room forming tendrils and tying themselves together. Eventually a collection of what seemed like thousands of tendrils formed and began to slither around his body. They weren't touching him not yet just slithering in the air around him. He felt so many different feelings, like temperatures and the scents of different flowers. Tendrils began digging into Hiku's body and with each one plunged he felt a differnet emotion, a different person, someone faceless, nameless but with their own unique energy. The rush of the tendril was overwhelming but it wasn't painful now, no it was satisfying. Sometimes he felt a good feeling, and sometimes he felt a bad one but he was understanding them from different perspectives and expanding his mind. However the tendrils began to retract forming a small gem which glowed with a rainbow aura. Hiku looked at the gem feeling it's power pressure him and it began to heat up violently breaking and bringing light to his eyes.

The young shinobi awoke from his dream feeling as though he'd been asleep for so long. He looked at the sprites who were now hovering around him. They were staring at him pleased with what they saw now. Rioka spoke up to Hiku in a calmer tone. "Do you get it now?" Hiku would stare at her for a few seconds and then slowly begin to nod his head. He was starting to get what this place was. It was a vast network of knowledge bound to be unlocked by chakra, but it was more than that, you couldn't just use chakra and hope to activate something no they had to feel you, the gems, the flow of their energy had to feel you like a link. He understood why he was chosen, it was because of his heritage and his ignorance. He was so against it that being faced with it allowed him to change. It showed adaptability to something new, and in a world like this that tool was all but common. He rose from the ground sweating, and still slightly shaken but with a different more interested look.

"I understand a lot more than I did before. It was like a rush of emotions and energy I didn't even know existed. It was like feeling someone else's thoughts with just their emotions. It was wonderful, greater than anything I'd ever felt in my life. I want to understand more, there is a way right?" The spirits nodded and Sukumo spoke up. "Not everyone is ready to see or experience what you just did. It must be done in progression and that can only happen by planting a seed. You will be our seed Hikuidori. If you wish to continue upon this path we have exposed you to, then please swim to the bottom of the lake and gather glowing gems. Use your mental abilities to feel out the gems and nothing more. When you find the ones that call out to you, consume them while in a form of energy. You have the skills to compelte this task Hikuidori, and we know you have the resilience to as well. That is why you were chosen, to endure this endless task. We will use all our power to help you, our seed for Human Evolution. Now go and begin your ascension into enlightenment." Hiku would nod and then proceed to step to the boundary of the lake. He would strip down and begin to feel the energy around him. His chakra would begin to form small petals and a crown of thorns and flowers (made of chakra) would form around his head. Hiku's body would become wreathed in some form of spiritual chakra, and he would descend into the lake letting his mind run free.

He began to feel them almost immediately. Each gem calling out to him there were a total of 9 that stood out to him like a sore thumb. Of course he would follow these energies and let them bring him some type of foundation. Each one that he collected warmed his hands, and this lake. It was as if the gathering of energies was bringing some sort of life back to this once vibrant place. As he gathered the crystals he heard the voices of the spirits combined all chanting him his last instructions.

"You have done well for us Hiku. We appreciate all the leaps you've taken in our form of trust. You're someone we can depend on and someone we happily give our energy to form this passing to you. Consume those gems and use our powers to bring back life to this land. Goodbye Hikudori we leave this task in your hands." The voices of the spirits began to fade but their energy began to flow all around Hiku who was still under the lake. The water swirled and moved creating a sphere of emotions around him. He began to consume the gems as instructed each one tasting like an exotic fruit he'd eaten in the dream. Was this the power he was feeling before? Was this the fruit he was given before knowing how to feel properly? Hiku's body began to burn up hotter than he'd ever felt. His eyes began heating up, causing him to wiggle and grab them hoping to cover them. His insides felt like they were being turned inside out and his blood felt like a million prickly needles courisng through his body. As he underwent more pain a cocoon of the energy would begin to form around Hiku. Vines would come from the lake itself anchoring this orb to the bottom of the lake hidden from all.

As Hikudori was being trapped two figures stood on top of the trees that surrounded the lake viewing the young man being changed within his cocoon. A man with silver hair and a woman with jet black hair. They were both pretty slender and both had notepads and knapsacks on their backs.
ONE.PIECE.600.442836.jpg

The dark haired woman would speak up to the silver haired man letting him know what she thought of the event. "Don't you feel bad for the kid? He was doing so well until he fell for the whole fairy thing. I think we oversold the whole thing but he believed the feelings. How did you know it would take us to use our prototypes of the crystals to get him to do it?" The silver haired man would stroke his beard before answering his partner. "It's simple, I was a dumb kid too. I believed in nothing but myself with my rebellious attitude. He's young, and brash and still inexperienced. Given enough cold hard evidence he might believe anything we throw at him." The woman laughed cackling loudly because of the man's comment. She rubbed her nose before responding as he stared at her half way annoyed.

"Really? It had nothing to do with the poisons you set, or the Genjutsu we've casted on him? Come on I know you had his personality slightly pegged but without our tools and his naivety I don't think we'd have done this well in finding a test subject. Using him was the logical idea why try to make it seem like you take interest?"

The silver haired man jumped down to Hiku's clothes and began to fold them nice and neat. He'd then place a tri colored gem (red, green and blue) and a scroll that read "For you Hiku" on the front. He would raise his head and exhale proudly into the sky. "I think you know less about me than you think you do. It's best we get on our way. He'll be down there for about two weeks feeling whatever our prototypes feed his own psyche. He'll be changes from the inside out and when he leaves that cocoon if he ever does, then he'll be a changed man. One with the power to shape the perspective of the world. When that day comes I will be there to finalize my goals." The two would pick up there bags and leave. Poor Hiku however, he would spend two long weeks going through a hell no one could simply imagine.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"I swear I could feel it all. A collection of the founders of our village the people who started this place. I swear I could hear names and recognize where they were from, and I could have sworn I was feeling countless battles. Pain, love, anger, hate, admiration, happiness, sadness, hunger, satisfaction you name it. Anything someone has felt I swear I felt it and then it all disappeared. Like a swoop it left me at leas the direct feeling of it left me. I was now different, I was a changed man and I had no proof except for the fact that I could feel it... Just a feeling.

The cocoon would begin to crack and a small seam of light would shine through and fade away. A hand rose from that crack in the cocoon and began to pull it's body out of it. A naked man with long black hair rose from the lake of water having remnants of the tendril cocoon hanging off of his body. He was changed, different and his eyes held a faint glow. Hikuidori looked around seeing that no one was there just like the time he had first came. He'd walk to his clothes and pick them which now held tri colored gem and a scroll just for him. He would begin to walk towards the woods while dressing his clothes preparing to take a walk back home. He was hungry and could definitely go for a bit of fruit.

</B>[fontsize="18"]Act 1: Finding the Savior[/fontsize]<i></i>

Hiku wandered the dark streets of Sunagakure making his way to different districts. He was searching for something, or rather someone. A woman who could take away everything he was laced with. This poisonous mentality lined in his own mind could spell doom for himself and those around him. Being as skilled as he was, and a Yamanaka it didn’t take him long to find a small leak in their packaged brain control commands. However he wasn’t sure exactly how to take such deep rooted ones out. They’d been here for months constantly growing in size, ultimately becoming stronger and more a part of Hiku. Whoever did this to him was an excellent user of Genjutsu and probably an amazing chakra user. This mystery person had to have been tailing Hiku for months lacing his mind with commands every day and building on top of the ones already planted. He was now the result of a perfect silent mind configuration.

”Was it an Uchiha who did this? It could have been that strange man from the Gates? What if it had always been and I never knew? Why is all this happening?” He was fractured in his own mind now. Feeling the level of confusion he once had back in the forest when he followed the words of those fairies. The spirits of Mother Sunagakure… What if they were all a lie too? Everything was just confusing to Hikuidori. He had no idea where to even begin to piece the mind back together and remove the traps within it. However that’s what was bringing him here to this area within Sunagakure. The slums of the residential districts underground. Every place big enough had a slum. This was a place where the poor and degenerate who skirted across society could inhabit. It was like a living hell for some, and a dark haven for others; however people knew their places in this society and if they didn’t they were the ones who usually were dealt with.

Hiku for one knew his place in this world was an unwanted guest. People never took too well to guards who made it their silly little business to intervene with their affairs. They would do their best to keep all information under wraps. However against a Shinobi especially one who had the abilities to grasp the very psyche of his peers…..Well they were more receptive to letting information loose, usually when given a taste of said Shinobi’s powers. It was a tough pill to swallow but Shinobi were those people who would be despised by society, or loved by them. Either or people took cautious to people who could conjure giant apparitions or cast the very elements themselves. Especially those with the gifted talents of their clans or pure hard work and will. Yes all Shinobi were treated with some form of respect and fear from one person or another. Very few didn’t get shaken even a little, when they were confronted by a shinobi.

Hiku had arrived at an alley hidden on the southern end of the slums. It was cornered with rubble but a very forthcoming informant had said the person Hiku was looking for could be found in the sewers but you had to go through the building connected to this alley way. You would know it was the right place because it held a scent for guests and pursuers. A warning and a welcome hidden within one alley. Hiku had been here searching for an hour, but this alley was definitely the one he was looking for. It smelled like rotting flesh, and raw meat. Hiku assumed that this stench was the warning for those seeking this woman, and a warning for those aggressively pursuing her.

This woman was simply dubbed as the “Ruby Swan” or some called her “Ruby”. She was a woman shrouded in mystery but known throughout the underworld of the slums. When people sought some freakish form of power or implants they went to seek for her. She was very illusive and only worked on one or two people every few months if not longer. She never made huge splashes, but if you managed to hear about one of her works It was very rare. They said most of her skills lied in disposal if you caught the drift.

Hiku bent down on one knee to trace his hands over the sandy strip of ground. He found a soft spot and began to pour his chakra into the very Earth in order to open up the ground with his chakra. Hiku, being a mokuton user had a good deal of control over Earth and Water, and being able to manipulate an element to your liking was an essential skill for any person able to use chakra.

As he opened up the ground, the stench flowed into his nostrils stronger than before. The source of the stench was definitely coming from down below these grounds. His target “Ruby Swan” was getting closer. Hiku dropped down into the underground of Suna fearlessly. He didn’t even examine how far a drop it would be but with the power of his mokuton jutsu, and flower affinity, he’d make a safe landing pad. A platform of wood would sprout of the ground as Hiku approached it at an alarming speed, and before making contact with the rising wooden platform he’d release a bundle of flowers and petals manipulating them to make a cushion. He landed intensely but the shock from the drop was quickly lessened.

Hiku would hop off the pedestal to inspect the area. It was cold, dark, and quiet. At this point the stench of rotting and dead things could barely bother Hikuidori anymore. The drop had pulled them in at full force, and he was now accustomed what a shame. Hiku would walk down the dark caverns of the underground. It was lonely here not a soul could be found, only Hiku and this distinct aroma. Time had become something of the past as he Hiku travelled throughout the caverns. It seemed like an eternity he had spent down there; however it was all coming to a close as he finally found a door within this stone labyrinth. This door was smeared in Blood, splashed by the looks of it, from a messy child. His eyes focused as he slid to a corner and began to push the door slowly. As he opened the door Hiku silently but quickly drew flower senbon from his weapon holster. A small poof could be heard within his pouch and then the silver flower appeared.

Hiku entered the room finding the inside to be that of a normal hospital room. The only thing out of place was the size of the room, but it was fully equipped, machines, charts, chakra receptors sticking into the ground around the operating table. There was a storage cabinet with vials of blood, purple ooze, and some organs. Whoever owned this room was definitely a skilled medical shinobi and a twisted individual.
As Hiku examined the room, a pair of footsteps gently tapped against the floor as they approached the room. A woman with white hair and deep red eyes; her face was still and she had a small smirk perched upon her lips. Hiku faced her gripping the flower ready to assault her if she decided to be aggressive. It was bad he was searching for a well hidden “doctor” who most likely killed her patients, he was an unwanted guest. The woman however spoke very calmly and sweetly.

”Hello, I’m the “Ruby Swan”. I assume you’ve come here looking for me like many others. Rejoice for you are a survivor of my hellish labyrinth. Did you not make any wrong turns and run into my creatures? Most people have run into one or two if they’re skilled, and never even make it here if they are faint of heart and can’t handle the stench. It confuses them. Have you killed a lot?”

Ruby was talkative, but she was calm. Hiku could only assume she was used to this kind of thing. Random people popping up into her home. ”No I haven’t but I grow flowers and there’s a flower that smells like this stench after blooming.” Ruby looked disappointed as she began to pout.

”Makes this stench from a flower you say. Definitely would have been more convenient than my methods. Well anyways, Stranger what can I do for you in my lab of wonders and horros?” Hiku looked around trying to spot anything out of place but he couldn’t. This woman was strange, eccentric and was a case of baskets Hiku wasn’t familiar with. He sighed wondering if this was really the legendary underground fixer, Ruby Swan. ”Are you really the mad woman Ruby Swan I’ve heard so much about? I always thought it was a weird name, is it your real one? You’re definitely different than I expected. Whatever if you’re her then maybe you can help me. I’m Hikuidori and I was told of a woman in the slums who would do the dangerous experiments others wouldn’t. Ruby Swan, I am the result of many unknown experiments and happenings. I am a Yamanaka, and I can mentally infiltrate other people. Genjutsu users can use processes to alter the mind of another person. Well I’m afraid that my mind is also locked and laced with triggers. They’re like little mental mines that will explode and control me when stepped on. I searched for a week throughout the slums looking for someone who would do what you do. Implants, harvesting organs, dismantling bodies, you name it; they said you could do it all.” He’d stop and observe Ruby as she tapped her chin with her slender pale finger.

She spoke calmly, to Hikuidori explaining her take on the situation. ”Wow kid sounds like you’re a cluster fuck. As much as my pockets would enjoy the charge of helping you with that problem I am no genjutsu specialist. I’ve been faced with this problem before very rarely but it’s been there before. Seals, and jutsu that leave others minds in shambles when tampered with or when they complete their set tasks. You’re probably going to end up as another statistic when you’ve served your purpose. I’m sure you’ve realized that by now. You’re efforts are most likely hopeless. she would begin to pace back and forth speaking to Hiku.

”The only way to do this would be to undo the damage done by releasing each trigger. However who knows how many there are, if they can even be undone safely and if you yourself could be salvaged. I guess that’s why you came to me right? Fear that if you couldn’t be salvaged they’d lock you up, throw away the key and call it a risk to keep you around? Real world through the eyes of shinobi is a hard pill to swallow most of the time. I assure you I understand. However….” Ruby would stop by a bookshelf containing a collection of scrolls where she would pull one, covered in a brick red paper. She’d smile rejoicing in her discovery of the scroll.

”This scroll contains a secret medical practice one that is very dangerous to the human body. In fact doing this procedure would spell death for most people if they don’t have a solid will, and a great control over their chakra. In fact very few could even be considered viable candidates for such a procedure. I do procedures like these, forbidden techniques, because the money power can bring is amazing. Furthermore this extends my knowledge and I’ve got to do some amazing deeds in my time. However I’ve never done this one, I’ve only researched it. It’s a newer one at that, and I think it could be the answers to your problems. However with this solution comes a terrible price. You will have to cast aside the person you are now. Love, family, and your treasures will never hold the same value to you again. Are you sure you’re ready for such a change in your life? You can always leave my labyrinth however finding me again might be a little taxing because I’ll have to change location. I don’t trust many people once I finish a few operations. I’ll give you time to think about it.”</B>

Hiku stood there thinking about what he had just been told. It was obvious she was withholding information probably not to reveal her technique before Hiku made his decision. He had to sacrifice a piece of love, he wasn’t looking for it. He had to give up some ties to his family, they were slowly fading anyways. Treasures? The ones he had would never change. However this problem, this mental trap would be the end of him if it took control. Hiku would rather lose things that can be supplemented than be a potential hazard to himself and his home.

”It doesn’t take a man long to know what he wants to do when things are on the line. I want to be able to live my live free of being anyone else’s puppet. If this is how I do it then so be it. Bring your procedure and let’s get to work.” Ruby would smile at Hiku and respond by saying ”Yes let’s get to work. I will open up my corridors and I would like you to go down to the examination room. It’ll be at the end on your left. Oh by the way this process will cost 50,000 Yen I hope you brought the money with you before-hand.” Hiku smirked and placed a summoning scroll on the ground. With it’s activation a large bundle of Yen would appear. ”I bring it with me wherever I go.”
[fontsize="18"]<B>Act 2: The Molding[/fontsize]
<B>

Inside the operation room Hiku sat silently waiting. It was probably twenty full minutes until Ruby showed up again. When she did she was wearing an entirely different outfit. She wore medical scrubs and had her up in a bun. ”Alright Hiku are you ready to begin? Sit still and relax your body and your mind. Close your eyes and breath in and out while counting out to 10. I will be checking your pulse and such at this stage.” Hiku did as instructed making himself as calm as possible. Ruby rubbed Hiku’s wrist and kept going up his arm rubbing in circular motions. Every time she touched him there was a faint cold sensation going across his arms. After about five minutes of this Ruby’s voice would be heard once more. ”Alright open your eyes.” As Hiku opened them he saw his arms were bound by stone cuffs. They were connected to the chair and Ruby stood in front of Hiku brandishing a blade. ”What is this?” Hiku asked as he turned his head slowly to look around the room. ”This is where we begin the process. I came behind you, you know. I saw what you did with the ground to get through here. Bypassed going through building entirely. Can you use jutsu without the need of handseals? Hiku shook his head no slowly, and then as he did the blade was thrusted towards him. Hiku then looked at Ruby and said

”What are you playing at? Are you trying to test my fear tolerance?” Ruby made a few motions with the blade and pulled it back revealing blood. However Hiku barely felt anything. Ruby smiled and then said ”Hiku, either you have pain tolerance of a god or the tranquilizer worked. I rubbed it into your skin but only because I wanted to force this upon you.” She would then repeat the process on the opposite side and Hiku would look down glancing at the blade to see her horrid actions. She was literally cutting Hiku’s arm off, and he turned to the right to see his other arm already on the ground.

Shock hit him so quickly he couldn't believe his arms were being lopped off. Ruby was calm and after cutting off the other arm, she began to roll out the scroll she had picked up earlier. ”This is a scroll about puppeteering. In order to call yourself a puppeteering ninja, you must master this basic technique. Someone of your level and skill should be able to accomplish this quickly. This technique will become your new way of life. Indulge into greatly Hikuidori because if you don’t I will have to dispose of you. Don’t worry too much Hiku. I’ve already closed your nubs, and I’ve been placing medical chakra into your body to sustain you. However that will only last for a week or so. Yeah you might want to hurry up on that reading. When I leave this room you’ll be freed from that chair and please do get started. Soon I don’t want to wait forever.” As Ruby left the room she would grab Hiku’s arms off the ground. Hiku was freed and he immediately began cursing to the heavens.

”Fucking Hell! That Bitch! I’ll tear her heart out! She took my arms!, and like that he was pretty much helpless. His projectiles were still a possibility but with no arms, he couldn’t perform handseals. In an instant it seemed as though years of training, a lifetime of practice was thrown away. This woman was beyond cruel. She was the Devil’s Wife incarnated. Hiku laid there for a moment in pain mentally, feeling nothing physically, not from his arms at least. What are you doing Hiku? You’re a damn shinobi of Sunagakure. You’re wasting time, if this new procedure will involve me being able to fight with no arms, I can only imagine what else it could hold. I just wonder what this has to do with my mental aspect. Puppeteering isn’t exactly something that will rid the mental locks on me. Hiku scooted himself up using his chin and knees. He would then hop up propelling himself in the air and touching the ground with his feet. The now armless shinobi would walk towards the scroll and begin to examine it.

”Alright Ruby, I see you’re aim, and I’ll play you’re sick game.” Hiku would start at the top of the unrolled scroll on the ground being careful to keep his balance so he didn’t have to turtle his way back up.
The power of Puppeteering comes from the mind. It is art and imagination at it’s finest form. In order to become a full-fledged Puppeteer you must first learn how to use the Chakra Strings technique. It is a high form of Chakra Manipulation and the stronger your control of chakra was the greater your manipulation will be.

Now think of normal puppeteers for a moment. They use strings to manipulate the different body parts of a puppet. Adding chakra to the mix can greatly expand the level of puppeteering you’re able to do. You must first learn how to gather chakra. If you’re able to do this simple task of gathering chakra then you’re one step ahead.

The next thing you’ll want to do is focus the chakra to a certain point. When focused the bundles of chakra thread will come from that point. It is there you will control the flow of chakra and how many strings you will use. Most people generally use their fingers to puppeteer as that is the most efficient way, but an expert in controlling their chakra can use them from all over their body. No body part is not accessible to use for your chakra strings.
The most any person has been able to control, is 10 chakra strings. This limit allows even the greatest puppeteers to utilize multiple puppets at exponential rates. Anymore and the balance would usually be shot off and uncontrollable. Even 10 chakra strings, is pushing it for some puppeteers.
When you have created your chakra strings, you must learn to maintain their balance and keep them strung at a variety of sizes and shapes. Practice moving your chakra strings and making different shapes…..

As Hiku read he charged chakra. He wouldn’t forget his basic training even if he didn’t have the ability to use the handseals to channel the chakra he’d still build it up in a focal point. This would be the nubs that were reminders of where his arms used to be. Hiku began to reminisce on the training he did with his father when manipulating a rose petal. Yamanakas they were users of flowers, but how could a flower do much damage? Volume and manipulation is the key to that question. They would use their chakra to multiply the petals to add more to the attacks and manipulate their directions and angles. He could repeat that imagining the threads to be like lines of flower petals. Each petal swirling with chakra making a beautiful line of chakra petals. Hiku could see it in his mind and as he saw it, he would focus the chakra the same way. It didn’t work out so well though as the chakra he manipulated fell apart. He overflowed it not being more precise and careful. As a puppeteer chakra was the kickstarter, to this whole process. Hiku’s strings were there at least starting off if nothing else. It would take time but he was getting the hang of the technique. The reprograming was beginning.
[fontsize="18"]Act 3: The Operation[/fontsize]

Ruby was cooking breakfast inside of the lab with a Bunsen burner. There were plates of bacon, eggs, sausage, potatoes, and fried dough. How she managed to cook all of this on two small Bunsen burners. We will never know. Ruby walked around the lab happily munching on a piece of crispy bacon while whistling a tune. A slow trail of footsteps could be heard in the distance of the hall that led to the examination room. A slouched person appeared in the doorway eyes full of hunger. He had no arms and simply This armless starved patient was Hiku. He stared at Ruby intensely and then uttered a word. ”Food…” Ruby smiled and responded happily waving a fork a in the air. ”You can have food if you can pick up your fork and eat it. I’ve been waiting for four days you know.” A thick chakra string lashed out lined with small rose thorns that were made of chakra. It wrapped around one of the many plates with bacon and eggs. He pulled it closer to his face and used the other 9 strings to scoop the food and eat it. ‘He stared at Ruby as she giggled at him. ”Your sustenance only lasted the first day….”
Ruby would quickly respond saying, For what I have in store for you, hunger won’t be a problem any longer. Neither will sleeping, or bleeding, growing old, poisons, disease nothing will be able to passively affect you anymore. You’re going to be a living weapon, and your very power will be created. You’re going to be a medical anomaly. You are my very own reverse Pinocchio.”

With a flash of chakra Ruby’s eyes would grow a deeper red, and veins would sprout from the side of her eyes. This was clearly the Byakugan, but it was blood red. These eyes and my special jutsu are what brought me here to these moments. My career Is amplified by two things, and this eyes is one of them. I’m going to speed things up and bypass all the testing with the puppet prostetics. The only way you’ll learn is by getting accustomed to your new body.

When she finished speaking a plate was firmly swung at her. Ruby used to fingers to split the plate apart before focusing on Hiku. ”How does any of this help me in the long run? You keep lopping off my limbs until I’m mostly a floating body and put puppet limbs on me? How does this help with anything! She would eye Hiku before firmly smirking again. A scroll would slide down her sleeves, and she’d reveal a scroll that said “The Art of Hitokugutsu”. This scroll was hard to come by. I had to kill a squadron of hired guards just to get it. When I first opened this scroll I closed it just as quickly. It is a scroll that would detail the dark process of turning another person into a living puppet. A living weapon greater than any Puppeteer could muster and that is just amazing. However what crazy person would turn themselves into such a weapon? Well now I’ve found one who would wish such a thing. Are you wondering what that has to do with your mental lock problem the original reason you came? Yeah it has plenty to do with it. That’s where my second ability comes into play. You’re a Mokuton user, I could tell that by reading the chakra in your arms. Let me show you what I can do with the Dust Element. It’s of the Wind that carries the earth. The more advanced form of Sand if you asked me. My Ninjutsu literally affects the particles of my targets. With my Byakugan, and my skill for this element and the medical training I’ve been blessed with… Well let me just show you.”

She retrieved one of the arms she cut off from Hiku and began to draw a seal around it in chakra. A green aura emitted from the seal causing a field of healing energy to encase the arm. She was activating the dead cells in the arm. Ruby rose from the ground and formed three handseals. Thousands of small specs of sand rose circling her hands. She prepped herself and began to strike the arm at various points while one hand held something else. When she was done she held something thin almost invisible in front of a large magnifying glass. Hiku could see an extremely thin line glowing faintly in through the glass. Ruby’s voice echoed through the room, Hiku this is the Chakra System that each person in us holds. Your chakra system however is an interesting case. It seems as though the people who implanted these locks onto your mind, have done far more than just that. They’ve mixed their chakra with yours. No it’s even deeper than that, they’ve encoded their chakra patterns you’re your Chakra Coils. Whatever did this was done at the molecular level. A chakra system acts like red blood cells, and those “Chakra Cells” have been changed entirely creating a new chakra. I wonder if this helped their control grip over you. Well no matter, because what I have in store for you will overcome all of this. Pay attention to my Dust Jutsu for it’s very properties are amazing. The faint air around Ruby’s Hands would begin to swirl as she gently massaged Hiku’s old arm. The detached limb, began to shake and begin to break down. The thin line of chakra from the Chakra System’s lines began to glow more strongly. Then it would begin to collapse into itself crumbling into a little green ball of chakra. Ruby would hold the ball and speak triumphantly. ”This is the result of my jutsu. I’ve effective obliterated your arm, but harvested the Chakra Coil/System from it. It will take 4 hours for each of these small orbs to complete their grafting. This is one of the three major components that will turn you into a living puppet.”

Ruby would drop the orb into a vial and go behind a table to grab her handy dandy limb lopping blade. She was obviously taking joy in Hiku’s reaction as a large sigh escaped his lips. He would slump to the table hopping up on top of it and telling Ruby ”Let’s get this over with Swan. I have a life to get back to.” A small chuckle would escape her lips. ”Hold on I’m not done. With this technique I will remove your heart, brain, and chakra system. I will break them down to the particles and create a condensed form of those components. We will store them in a device that will constantly be hooked up to you. I hope you know half of your payment was spent getting you a new body. Because when I remove those components and upload them onto the device, you’ll literally be in that device. Then I can go through the device and physically remove all traces of you’re manipulator’s mental locks and such. You will be entirely freed from them at the cost of your humanity; your old lifestyle. It’s not too late to turn back Hiku. You can always get puppet prostetics and live the life of an accomplished puppeteering shinobi.”

Hiku would lay down on the table signaling to Ruby that he was going through with it. Ruby began to massage his legs. He could feel them going numb, he knew what she was doing. Ruby was going to begin to lop off his legs. He could feel the faint steel against his skin. However after the first brush against the skin the rest was a breeze. After about five minutes Ruby was walking the legs over to another table entirely. Hiku however was still on the table laying down, only thinking about what he signed up for. This mess, was a design of another. They meant to make him their puppet and how ironic that becoming a puppet is what would save him.

Ruby did her Dust Jutsu breaking down the legs to the most condensed from for his Chakra System. Hiku looked on, thinking about what she said. He would be a living weapon in full effect. Ruby walked over to Hikuidori hovering over his body. You look so helpless Hiku. I guess here comes the next big two parts. So which one your heart or brain? now either one is going to mess with you pretty badly but it’s all about how you take it. Now Hikuidori what do you want to do?” He simply replied ”Do the Brain, the sooner I get those locks out of me the better…” With a slight nod Ruby would begin massaging Hiku’s head. Her sharp blade began getting placed on Hiku’s head. He knew what was going to happen; he couldn’t feel it all but he could feel the tiny pinches and the squishy soft spots on his “head”. Hiku vision began to fade. He was used to this feeling though, it was something he was forced to get accustomed with. However this kind of fading was like the ending of something as it felt like his mind was being destroyed bit by bit. He felt that when he awoke he would not be the same shinobi, let alone the same person, if one could even classify what Hiku was going to become as “human”.
[fontsize="18"]Act 4: The art of Yourself[/fontsize]

A bright light shone down upon the lab room. Hiku awoke looking around however his view was very small to say the least. He couldn’t turn his neck or anything he figured he just woke up during the process however Ruby stood there staring at him. Hiku now perplexed began to speak to her. Ruby why are you just looking at me? Come on say something? How do I look?” Ruby walked away as Hiku spoke to her. Ruby? Ruby!? Ruby! Hey come back here…. Why didn’t she answer me?” The snow white haired woman made her way back into brandishing a body of some sort in her hand. Upon closer inspection the body revealed itself to be a hollow mannequin. She plopped it down in front of Hiku and said ”Yes yes my beautiful test subject. I think I’ve outdone myself this time, yes this is one for the books. Well Hiku say hello to your new home. My new home?” Ruby’s hands approached Hiku as she picked him up his mind began to wander. ”Wait no, how is she so strong why am I so…”

*Click Click Clunk Click*
*Swoooohhhh*

”Small…. Wait I can hear myself. What is this?” His vision came back like curtain opening up for show. He couldn’t move he could just see, talk, and hear. ”Hiku, this is your new puppet body. Custom yet basic designed, removeable joints, How you choose to outfit the body is up to you. However in order to operate this body you will need the chakra strings technique. That is why you were oper-” Before Ruby could finish Hiku began charging the chakra from wherever he could feel it. It circulated through his body more quickly leaving him with the “overcharged” lines he had earlier (The thick chakra strings). Hiku would condense the chakra down to a finer size, condensing all the energy he could. Ruby activated her red Byakugan and began to examine Hiku. ”Well it seems as if the chakra strings aren’t the only thing, it’s actually taking all available forms of data from the chakra sources I created from your body earlier. Then it’s spreading the chakra around. Wow this organic receptor is an amazing device. To think it’s so easy to create if you have the right tools.”

Hiku would look down to see himself in a very bland body, however his face was his own. The skin was hardened, like metal and each movement he made made smaller clicking sounds throughout his body. A constant flow of energy swirled in his chest. He began to rotate the limbs on his body again just to get the feel for it. The chakra strings pretty much do all the work. All I have to do is imagine how I want them to move my body and that’s that. It’s like a second form of breathing. However there were some more qualities that were missing. For one Hiku hadn’t taken a breath since he’d gotten off the operating table. He also couldn’t smell anything, nor could he taste the air in the room. He didn’t feel his heartbeat anymore, only the constant flow of chakra. His mind was contained, clear like it had been refurbished.

There was something more disturbing gone as well. The constant ebb he could feel from nature, from the flowers mainly was also gone. Before the operation Hiku had always been good about manipulating his flower projectiles, he could go so far as to feel them. Post operation seemed to have changed a few things. ”Ruby, what else has changed beyond my physical and mental? What about my shinobi abilities. I wanted to test how this body would work with my flower projectile.” The pale dark doctor, looked at the ground sympathetically. ”This will probably be saddening, but you’re abilities from your clan, they are no longer valid. You had to give up those glaring gifts in order to achieve this. I’m sorry, but think of the brighter side of this all. You’re now the perfect living weapon. You’re basically immortal as long as you keep that device in one piece.”

She was right it was a little saddening. One of the big things that helped keep things in perspective was thoughts of his family. He had now forsaken his lineage in a quest of power and control veiled in desperation. This whole ordeal has been a tough pill to swallow. I feel as though I’ll forever be plagued by this operation wondering what could have happened if I had went to the village; but I couldn’t take that risk. I had to do this, yes there was no other way. Not for me at least, This was my guaranteed ticket to freedom.

”Well the good news is now that you’re a puppet you can fight like one. I had taken the liberty of buying a few installations. I’ve already put them both in your body. If you’d like I can open up a training room for you.” Hiku would nod to her suggestion, as Ruby would use a few handseals and begin shifting her lab. The hallway that led to the operation room now began to close, as another one opened up on the opposite end of the room. This led directly into a large open room where Many little, rock targets were set up.

He would begin to use his chakra strings in his body to activate the traps that were installed into him. One of his arms morphed and changed into a three pronged blade, where as the other arm pushed out a small cannon from the palm of his hand. This cannon was a high pressurized hydro cannon. Hiku would dash forward trying to move agilely while he sliced at the different rocks. The cannon wasn’t going to be accessible as Ruby had not installed any water source to use it from. This would prove to be a greater problem in the future when he ran out of materials.

Hikuidori began to form 5 chakra strings out of his right hand. His movement speed was rigid, but the more Hiku moved around the easier it became. He was able to make sharp turns and sling himself around impossible angles using the chakra strings as a support system for his movement. The three pronged blade, was able to easily tear chunks out of the rocks, but not able to slice completely through. ”I’ll have to buy some better equipment, but this is exciting. I’m moving so freely now, the chakra strings pretty much jerk my body into whatever direction I want. The endless possibilities for my arsenal are too great. Sure I might not be able to use the skills passed down from my lineage but I’ll at least be able to craft a new way of fighting. It will be tough, I was not entirely prepared for this but I won’t stop now, I’ll keep going and keep mowing down my obstacles. I’ll get revenge on the bastards who pushed me to this. The least I can do is make them experience what it’s like to be a puppet.”

Hiku would continue to train in the training room for two hours practicing movements and striking positions with his new body. In the end Hiku realized that a lot of puppeteering was imagination. He had plenty of it, using his Mokuton and Flowers to summon creatures, but now it was an entirely different ball game. He was a puppeteer, and the ultimate puppet, Hiku in the span of a week was stronger than the average puppeteer. After feeling satisfied he’d leave the training room to walk upon a calm Ruby, whose lab was now empty. She held a black bag in her hand and smiled intimately.
[fontsize="18"]Act 5: Farewell my Pale Butcher[/fontsize]

“Ruby Swan” a moniker for the pale doctor of the underworld. She was standing by a wall brandishing a black bag. Her lab was empty and all of her cool gadgets and gizmos seemed to have gotten the boot. ”Well it looks like you’ve got the hang of the body. This brings our work together at end now. I’m going to relocate, you can never be too careful out here. I hope that with our business together you will keep it strictly between us. When and I mean when they do find out what you are, you will not lead them on a goose chase to me correct?” Hiku nodded, ”No I will not. This was my choice, if they need anyone to blame they should blame me.” Ruby smiled and began to walk to Hikuidori. ”Wonderful Hiku, I knew I had a good feeling about you. As a show of good faith, I’ve installed a bomb next to your containment unit. If that gets destroyed, you’re done for. So in one week, you may attempt to remove that bomb. Any earlier and it will explode, killing you quicker than half the village could.” She was so twisted, but smart and covered her bases at all times. It was people like these that made greats, in whatever they did.

Hiku would open the black bag to find a file and three scrolls. There was a black one titled “Art of the Dread Puppets”, another one that was purple titled “The Eternal Puppet”, and a final one that was crimson titled, “Legion of the Inhuman”. The file was titled “Classified: Forgotten Dunes”. Hiku looked at her oddly as he began to go through the folder. It was a compilation of every trigger in Hiku’s mind, and some information about the people who did this to him. While the folder had no faces, or people’s names, it did have a snippet about a group rarely spoken of in the underground. They were not worth knowing according to most people, but this was their handiwork.

The scrolls are more of a guide for your puppeteering. The file however is a compilation folder as you’ve seen. It has a list of your triggers that I dissected from your brain and a few of the tampered memories re-strung together. I’ve encoded it separately from your consciousness, and your new body. However if you ever want to go through this information you can. When you leave the hallway that brought you here will bring you out, no labyrinth this time. Just walk straight and then you’ll find that little manhole you made shining down …. Well Hiku this is it, is there anything else you’d like to ask?

Hiku looked down at the ground for a moment. There was a lot he wanted to say, a lot he wanted to do, but none of it could be accomplished down here. He did all he could, and transcended beyond what was anticipated from him. ”No Ruby, but thank you for all that you’ve done. Taking a risk with a shinobi was probably something you faced but it still must be a stress factor wondering if we’ll turn you in or something. You gave me a new power, one separated from their control. I’m going to find the Forgotten Dunes, and break them apart.” Hiku would sling the bag around his shoulder and begin to walk to the entrance of the room. Ruby would call out to him before he left. ”My name is Hyuuga Aka. Never forget who you are Hikuidori, or where you came from. The things that make us, are the things we must hold onto. No matter if it’s removed, or taken away. Never forget who you are.” Hiku would stop walking for a moment.

Even as he left, she still pursued to give him guidance. While this whole situation was on short call, while her methods were twisted, and while she is probably a high ranking threat able to do these kinds of things on others… Ruby Swan, Hyuuga Aka was definitely his new savior.[/spoilername]

-Anything highlighted in Red is what I own-

HP.jpg

A forbidden practice all but forgotten except in the most forbidden scrolls, this highly restricted Kinjutsu involves shinobi converting themselves....into something which is no longer human. Many puppeteers wander the land, some more skilled than others, utilizing their puppets and their various traps to overwhelm an opponent. Yet, few would actually succumb so far into their obsession with puppetry far as to think of converting themselves into a weapon, their bodies modified into a living puppet. It is not unheard of for shinobi to replace lost limbs into puppet prosthetics, however there are few who would proceed to a darker degree and convert their entire body into that of a puppet, removing all organs and blood, save for their heart and consciousness which is transferred into a small, compact casing which is the only trophy of their past humanity. From this point on, they are living dummies, or Human Puppets, uneffected by some of the most common shinobi weaknesses such as Bleeding or exhaustion.
Information
Prerequisites: Kinjutsu Application, Puppet Master, 3 Ability Slots, B Rank

Effects:
  • Converts the user's body into a puppet. Do to the removal of the majority of their chakra system and their muscles, all their Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Taijutsu techniques deal -10% Damage and cost +10% chakra. Additionally, the user cannot recover chakra, and medical jutsu and Resting have no effect on them. Finally, because of their now fragile limbs, all called shots have a +10% chance of succeeding against them.
  • Upon gaining this Kinjutsu, the user loses all aspects of their Bloodline or Core Ability through the conversion into a puppet. Once converted into a puppet, the user can never again have a Bloodline or Core Ability.
  • All damage done to the user is now split between their puppet body, and their core. All attacks deal 70% of their Damage to the user's Hp, and 20% of their damage to the user's Cp.
  • With their body being a puppet, they are now more or less unaffected by bleeding and poison. The Human Puppet may only suffer from bleeding or injury type poison when their heart is specifically damaged.
  • The user has 14 Slots to distribute between Puppet traps and upgrades. Neither may go above 8.
  • When using Puppet Traps installed into themselves, the user has a Base Damage of 230.
  • All puppet techniques and traps cost -10% chakra, and inflict +10% Damage. Traps installed into the user gain an additional +5% Damage and -5% Cost.
  • The user's heart becomes the only remnant of their Human Body. Called shots directed at the heart may cause bleeding (Up to rank 3), and inflict full damage to the user instead of split damage. Any Injury type Poisons applied to a to their heart have the chance to inflict poison normally.

[fontsize="12"]Sacred Threads of Fate - C-Rank Puppet Jutsu<i></i>
HPSTOFf.jpg

An advanced puppet jutsu that allows the user to create special threads of chakra with the sole intent on manipulating their own puppet body. This technique coats the user in a tangle of chakra threads, each controlled mentally by the human puppet. Though this may seem redundant, this allows the user to move their artificial body regardless of how beaten up or damaged their limbs or joints are. However, any physical prowess they may have trained and honed with their puppet body will be of little use as they are controlling themselves through strings.
Information
Prerequisites
Human Puppet, C-Rank

Rank 1: When active, the user ignores up to 3 cumulative points of physical debuffs. Additionally, the user is unaffected by Fractured or below Called shot penalties.
Master Rank: When active, the user ignores up to 4 cumulative points of physical debuffs. Additionally, the user is unaffected by Called shot penalties.

Note:
- While active, the user does not gain any physical buffs whether they be activated or passive. This does not apply to puppet upgrades.
- While active, all attacks made by the user use their version of Puppet Accuracy.

Cost: 675 Cp to initiate, 320 Cp/Rnd.

[fontsize="12"]Brown Secret Technique: Puppet Symbiosis - B-Rank Puppet Jutsu
HPPS.jpg

Generally, a puppeteer's greatest weakness is their vulnerability while puppeteering. However, those who have themselves become puppets have discovered how to use their now removable limbs and compact body to it's fullest, and are able to arrange themselves within a puppet at their own convenience, in so doing remove the their weakness. While within a puppet, the user's control becomes easier, more fluid, in a sense they themselves become the puppet, utilizing it as easily as if it were their own body...should they had not given it up in favor of a false one.
Information
Prerequisites
Human Puppet, 200 Chakra control, any Medium or Large Puppet, B-Rank

Rank 1: Allows the user to hide themselves within a puppet, though this costs an additional +.5 Ap in addition to the normal jutsu cost. While entering a puppet, the user has -2.5 dodge, takes +15% damage and if hit during this time, the user has a 55% chance to fail entering a puppet. The user enters the puppet successfully at the start of their next action, at which point all penalties from this jutsu disappear.
Master Rank: Allows the user to hide themselves within a puppet. While entering a puppet, the user has -2 dodge, takes +10% damage and If hit during this time, the user has a 50% chance to fail entering a puppet. The user enters the puppet successfully at the start of their next action, at which point all penalties from this jutsu disappear.

Note:
- This can only be used on Medium or Large Puppets.
- This may be used as a pre-battle action if the user was already in a puppet prior to the battle-mod call.
- The user may not puppeteer any puppet other than the one they are hidden within.
- All actions made while within a puppet use the user's accuracies instead of puppet accuracy. All Bonuses and buffs the puppet may have apply to the user.
- While within a puppet, the user cannot be targeted until the puppet is destroyed, though may still be effected by Genjutsu. However, the user takes damage equal to 40% of damage inflicted upon the puppet. This is applied after any damage reduction the puppet may have.
- Exiting a puppet costs 2 Ap.

Cost: 900 Cp to initiate. An additional 300 Cp if used with a "Large" Puppet

[fontsize="12"]Blood Bend - B-Rank Puppet Jutsu
HPBB.jpg

A dark puppeteering technique, those who have turned their bodies into puppets know the workings and weaknesses of the body...And how to manipulate it to their own ends. While normal puppeteer's have the ability to use their chakra threads to assist their willing allies during battle, these darker puppeteers have increased chakra thread strength that allows them to outright snatch control of a persons body, by literally pulling their strings. Though some may resist the effects of this skill to some degree, it is not easy to resist the constant force of the puppeteer’s will, and sooner or later, many find that their body becomes little more than a plaything to the puppet master.
Information
Prerequisites
Human Puppet, Chakra Strings, B-Rank, Life-Line Manipulation Mastered

Rank 1: Allows the user to use up to 8 chakra threads to manipulate a target. Each thread attaches to a target at +1.5 Accuracy, and gives the target -.5 Accuracy and Dodge while attached.
Master Rank: Allows the user to use up to 10 chakra threads to manipulate a target. Each thread attaches to a target at +2 Accuracy, and gives the target -1 Accuracy and Dodge while attached. A target can only be effected by up to four threads. The user may now perform Special Actions.

Special Actions: When this skill is mastered, the user may attempt additional actions by controlling their victims rather than impairing them.
  • For 1 Ap, the user may attempt to bind a victim effected by this jutsu by preventing all movement. This requires a Ninjutsu check against the user, and the victim has a +2 chance of resisting. This requires two strings to be attached to the victim, and the user gains +1 to their check for each string after the second. While bound, the target cannot move or perform any handseals. This requires a Nin check against the user each round, and ends when the victim is hit by an attack, or the user takes damage equal to 10% their max Hp from one attack, or if the user no longer maintains this technique.
  • For 1 Ap, the user may attempt to redirect an attack made by the victim. This is done reflexively when the victim attacks, and requires a check against the user's Ninjutsu. This requires 2 strings, and the user gains +1 to their check if the victim is effected by 4 strings. The user may choose to have the redirected attack target a different target, though doing so lowers their check by -2, and gives the attack -2 Accuracy to the new target.
  • The user may use the victim's body to perform basic Taijutsu. This can only be done on a victim bound by this technique, and requires an additional check per Taijutsu with a penalty for the user. The user may have the victim use Level E Taijutsu with no Penalty, Level D Taijutsu with a -1 Penalty, and Level C Taijutsu with a -2 Penalty. All Taijutsu used are Rank 1, and must be known by the user.
Note:
- Does not use Handseals.
- Threads may be split up among multiple targets.
- Chakra strings is still active during this time, and all associated effects. All threads used in this technique are the same as in Chakra threads.

Cost: 2.5 Ap to initiate, Chakra String Cost x3[/fontsize]

[fontsize="12"]Red Secret Technique: Performance of a Hundred Puppets - A Rank Puppet Jutsu<i></i>
HPRST.jpg

A forbidden technique that is impossible to perform by normal humans....but a powerful capability to Human Puppets. The most elite puppet masters in the land cannot control more than 10 puppets, and even then only with difficulty, but this skill not only controls, but coordinates a number of puppets than can reach into the hundreds. Upon summoning a literal army of a hundred puppets, the user may directly link each puppet directly to their core with tiny, faint threads of chakra strings. Directly linked the heart of the user, these puppets are moved on thought by the user, as if extensions to their own hands. Though the user gains control over their own army of marionettes, this requires the user to divide their focus among each puppet, and the strength of an individual puppet pales in comparison as opposed to if they focused entirely on one.
Information
Prerequisites
Human Puppet, A-Rank, Summoning Scroll (Large)

Rank 1: Allows the user to summon an army of puppets that have a cumulative Hp of 9,670 and -3 Dodge. While Active, the user gains +2 Dodge do to being protected by the army of puppets, and may attempt to enter stealth mode at +2 Stealth. The Puppet Army may make up to 20 Ap's worth of Actions.
Rank 2: Allows the user to summon an army of puppets that have a cumulative Hp of 12,100 and -2 Dodge. While Active, the user gains +3 Dodge do to being protected by the army of puppets, and may attempt to enter stealth mode at +2 Stealth. The Puppet Army may make up to 25 Ap's worth of Actions.

Note:
- While Active, the user may not have any other puppets out or use any other actions.
- Requires one Large Summoning scroll upon initiation. No items may be stored within this scroll.
- Base damage for the puppet army is treated as 120, and they may use any trap levels 1-3 at -15% Cp cost.
- The puppet Army may use any trap within the user's Inventory, and is unaffected by use limits do to the sheer number of puppets.
- The army is unaffected by any Puppet Upgrades or debuffs of any kind. The army has a 10% Damage reduction to all Damage.
- This Jutsu may only be performed once per battle, regardless if the user has additional scrolls or not. If the user drops this technique before the army is destroyed, it may be controlled once again at a later point.

Cost: 3000 Cp to initiate, 1875 Cp/Rnd.

[fontsize="12"]The Art of Hitokugutsu - S-Rank Ninjutsu
HPah.jpg

After converting their body into that of a puppet, the user's knowledge and use of Human puppetry does not end their. Some shinobi decide to turn their forbidden practices upon others, and through the same Kinjutsu applied to them, turn their victims into puppets. Unlike themselves, they have no need of the victim's life, killing them rather than preserving their heart or spirit. The new puppet is a shell of the former human, possessing all abilities that the victim had in life, and new abilities added in through modifications. It is quiet a medical mastery to preserve the body in such a way, though the practice is a forbidden Jutsu Highly frowned upon by nearly any society.

Information
Prerequisites
Human Puppet, 1500 word Rp, S-Rank
Master Rank: Allows the user to permanently modify a corpse into a puppet for all time. This can only be done through a 1,500 word rp that must be about the user obtaining a body and converting it into a puppet. This rp must have council approval, and the user chooses the puppet's Jutsu and BL/CA at the time of creation. This Rp can be done once every three OOC weeks. The user may only have up to three Human Puppets, and when taken below 0 Hp, they are destroyed and the user must reuse this technique again to either "Rebuild" it or gain a new Human Puppet.

Note:
- All Human Puppets are treated as Medium Weight Puppets.
- Human Puppets are treated as Tier 6 Puppets, have Hp equal to 30% of the user's Max Hp, and require all 10 Chakra strings to control.
- Human Puppets have a base Damage of 220 for all puppet techniques.
- The puppet has 14 slots to divide between puppet traps and upgrades. Neither may go above 8.
- A puppet may have a full Bl or a CA with 20 points.
- A puppet cannot have abilities, but may have up to 50 points worth of Jutsu. For each level a jutsu is scaling from levels E/D/C/B, it costs 1 point, while A level Jutsu cost 7 points. In addition, each rank costs an additional point. A mastered B level Jutsu would cost 7 points, while a mastered a Level would cost 8 (10 for Taijutsu) for example. Chosen jutsu must be in the user's inventory, but do not have to be mastered by the user. Any "Mastered jutsu" prerequisites do not apply to the puppet.
- A puppet may only access a single Advanced Element. The puppet is considered to have a Major Affinity to this element's major element, and a minor affinity to its minor.
- Any "Mastered jutsu" prerequisites do not apply to the puppet.
- Any chosen jutsu must be in the user's inventory. They do not have to have a jutsu mastered for a puppet to have a higher rank.
- All jutsu used by a Human Puppet do not suffer the normal penalties normally effecting jutsu used by the user.
- If the puppet has a BL/CA like Aburame or Inuzuka that require bugs/a dog/some other animal to use, the bugs/dog/other are considered part of the puppet.
- If the puppet has a BL/CA that gives HP/CP modifier buffs, the buff value is converted into a percentage that adds to the puppet's HP (So if it's +5 to HP mod, and the puppet would normally have 100HP, it now has 105HP).[/fontsize]<i>

One day a deal went bad in the outskirts of Sunagakure and when they did Ironwall was apprehended. He showed tremendous fighting skill for someone of his assumed level. Still he was taken and placed in Level 3 of the Obsidian Palace as he was shown to be a minor threat if left unchecked.
