Headed Home (Requesting Exit)

He was dressed much more worthy for a trip than he was previously in the Kage’s office. Indeed, the clothes were rugged and ready to wear down on a journey, for they were quite new. His…illness had apparently left him poorly for a bit, and some shopping had helped. Maki strides confidently to the gate and gathers the attention of those guarding it as best he can before presenting his passport.



Tonkon Maki and wife, requesting leave.” He looks back at his bride, motioning for her to hurry.

His appearance was almost immediate. It wouldn't be wrong to say that he hadn't been stalking the movements of some of the village's esteemed guests, especially since it seemed that Sousuke had squirreled them away without even introducing him. So on the day of their departure, he merely kept himself free and clear of attendants, and that meddling Sousuke, and waited. It was actually probably troubling how long he waited, like venturing on reckless for someone in his position.

But it is also the power that comes with the position, no?

It was a fair thought. He would make it up by being extra productive tomorrow. Now, however, he would find himself, after wasting time, doing something, maybe not intended for his position, but something that could be considered work none-the-less.

"Tonkon Maki and Hoshirei of Konohagakure no Sato, it was a pleasure to have you in our humble little SandBox."

Standing before them would be a lean figure standing just above six feet tall. His attire would be his rather normal attire, a black vest that was sleeveless on his right arm and fully sleeved on his left. The vest would extend past his waste and would have gold trim, with a golden symbol for his clan embroidered on the back and a golden symbol of Suna on the front. His pants would be baggy and white and would be cuffed just below his knees, and upon his feet would be black sandals.

"The name is Ryuzaki Roku, the 11th Kazekage, and I wish you both safe travels. Please feel free to stop by back and allow me to treat you both, as I did not have the pleasure of getting to interact with this time around."

There would be a large smile on his face as he would raise his hand and beckon for the gate guards to let the two out of the village without any further lingering.

[Hoshirei]

Hoshirei was a bit reluctant to leave, though she was also incredibly excited to make her way back to their home. Coming back was definitely on the docket. She had to admit that the vastness of the desert had a certain charm for a visit but she might just go a bit nuts if she was away from greenery much longer. Her soul ached to return to the trees.

She wasn't far behind Maki, also in her travelling gear, whip back on her hip and supplies tucked into sealing scrolls. The Kazekage himself came to bid them adeau. "It was a pleasure to explore your village. I hope we will be able to take you up on your offer soon," she said and inclined her head softly. Indeed, it would be good to get to know more people in this village. The woman she met was interesting, even if they hadn't interacted under the best of circumstances.

With a smile and a wave, Hoshirei made her way through the gates finally headed home.

The man who showed up before them did so in a manner leading Maki to wonder if he knew they were going to be there. Paranoia fled as he hands over the passports and the man offers pleasantries. Well dressed but not ostentatious like Maki himself, the clothes were well made. And those of one proud of his heritage, if the symbol was clan related.



Maki was, obviously, quite surprised that this man was the Kazekage. He bows his head in respect as he and Hoshirei are bid farwell.



”It was a pleasure. I pray it won’t be out last visit and when we return, we’ll have ample time to speak I hope.”



He takes their passports back and makes his way out of the village, heading home.
