Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

[legend="Heart of the Phoenix"]Chi had been in the academy now for a couple of years, and even since the tournament she's done nothing but train. No time for friends, no time for anything except working towards becoming the best. That meant physical and mental, so she trained at the Kogane Estate's training grounds and read books at the library about techniques and jutsu. However, one can destroy the outer wall of the training grounds so many times before one is forced to find somewhere else to train. Chi was far from being an exception to this, it was the perfect excuse for them to kick her out of the house. So she found somewhere secluded to train, somewhere her uncontrollable chakra wouldn't cause a lot of damage. Covered in dirt and nowhere near people it was perfect.
"This is a load of potatoes!" She became more and more frustrated as she tried to work on something special that she had come up with. She called it the "form of the phoenix" and it was something that she thought was going to be special. The only problem was that she couldn't control her chakra well enough. All she was doing was catching her body on fire, and while it kind of had the effect she was looking for it wasn't everything she wanted. Then someone popped into her mind, the fire user Kyoi. She seemed strong, Chi remembered her summoning the giant fire creature when dealing with those boys. She had no idea how to find her, though. The woman seemed to just pop up… usually when she needed her most. Sure enough, Chi turned around and there she was.
"Kyoi!" And no, that wasn't Chi saying that. Kyoi yelled her own name out with excitement right when Chi put her eyes on the woman. "How are you doing, Chi? I see you're still wearing the suit I made, you haven't grown must these past couple of years."
"Yes, I'm still wearing it… I need your help." Chi spoke without must enthusiasm, unlike her friendly counterpart in front of her. "I've been working on—"
"The form of the phoenix, I know. I've been watching you young lady. You'll never be able to achieve it like that!" She walked up to Chi and grabbed her hands before kneeling down to get at about her height. "You need to concentrate, I know with your chakra it's hard but you need to channel your fire through your body to make the fire take shape. Otherwise you're just on fire, which could be useful in itself but… not as much fun." She would wink.
[colo=red]"That's not good advice, you suck." Her voice remained pretty apathetic, so her words didn't have the same effect that they normally would have had.
"Look you little brat, I know what you're going through. I've been there." Kyoi did some really quick hand seals and she was engulfed in fire, taking the forum of a phoenix like what Chi had imagined doing with her own style. "It takes some time but it's worth it, especially when you learn to combine it with other jutsu." The young girl would sigh at this. Not only because she thought she was coming up with something new, but because she made it look so effortless.
"This seems hopeless…"
"It's not. I have years of experience," she released the flames and returned to her normal form. "And I'm willing to use that experience to help you." She would give the girl a smile filled with hope. Chi would look away for a moment with a solemn look on her face and then back at Kyoi with a nod of confirmation. The two of them went into serious training mode, the next week was nothing but training with the two of them in that same spot every day. Kyoi had her work cut out for her.
"You've almost got it!" Kyoi would yell, watching the young phoenix burst into flames. Though the shape was off it had an almost phoenix appeal to it. She combined her different techniques that caused her to burst into fire, her fire style, the immolation armor jutsu, and channeling fire through her gloves, to achieve this. Though, it took great effort to get to this point. Chi found herself having to concentrate really hard to get the jutsu to stay active so she could form the chakra into the shape of a bird to become a phoenix. Of course she couldn't get it to work if this were a battle, but once it became easier for her to do she could make the form during battle.
"I can feel it!" Chi rang out, sounding and looking almost like she was constipated. Then, in an eruption of flames the Blazing Pheonix was born…[/legend][legend="OOC; 799|Connects to the next mission The Rising Pheonix."][/legend]
