Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Isamu's muscles began to loosen up as he walked, and by now the aches were completely gone. This view was different from what he remembered his more recent trip being. Before, he gazed upon a giant man lift that took them underground to Sunagakure. Now, he is unsure exactly what he seeing. Had he made a wrong turn or is what before him, his destination. Isamu was curious enough to find out as he took in the new scenery.

There were two standards soaring high above in the sky. The first standard is a sand tone material carrying the banner of Sunagakure. The second flag is made of black silk with an unfamiliar symbol on it that resembled a tiger on top of a dragon. The meaning of the second flag was loss upon Isamu, but the first struck true. This was Sunagakure, or at least a part of it. Isamu pondered about the second flag, but decided it must be an unknown clan that has gained power in Sunagakure. Perhaps that clan was connected to Isamu's past. At this point, anything could be connected to his last visit. After all, he did just wake up in the middle of the desert with no memories of his recent visit. That is other than being greeted by a Mist-nin refugee and a Sand-nin playboy who let Isamu in based upon the referral of the Mist-nin. Isamu was in high hopes that things would go just as smoothly this time as they did previously.

Only thing left to do now, is wait.

[Topic Entered With Clan NPC - Miroku Osagi]

The thirty-six year old moved out from the shadows of the newcomer, he could hear his heart thudding in his ears. Walking out towards the man Osagi would smile and give a small bow. "Greetings friend what brings you to Sunagakure?" asked the Crimson eyed shinobi extending an arm towards the newcomer, in his hand a water gourd. "I am Osagi of the Miroku Clan...who might you be?" he asked with a warm grin, no doubt he looked odd in his White businuess suit. His long black hair blowing in the wind behind him, he wondered how long he would have with this newcomer until the shadows arrived.

"You must be weary from your travels...where is it you've come from?" he asked the newcomer, common questions when arriving at a village. Though usually asked by Gate Guardians, not that the man would have any reason to suspect Osagi was anything else then such. In his left hand a finely crafted cane, with a jeweled handgrip.

OOC: Hope you don't mind some company till the Gate Guards get here, maybe a little bit of plot if you're interested.

Sharingan Kuro responded to the main entrance as another envoy of the Miroku Clan and a new visitor had arrived. Neither carried the feel of the Cabal but without Kuro's abilities Cabal members were hard to spot. Even more so they were all incredibly strong. "Member of the Miroku clan your insignia is recognized and you are welcome to the Toraono dojo and Sunagakure. Visitor from afar might you have a passport or identification so that you may be recognized as a visitor. If not there is a vetting process and a blood requirement for tracking visitors. Would you be amendable to this?"<i></i> Sharingan Kuro waved in the Miroku clan member as their master was far harsher than Kuro could ever be as he looked upon Sunaku Isamu waiting for some form of identification or acceptance of their latest security measures.

Isamu's unzipped hoodie flew behind him in the wind as he waited for a Sand-nin to greet him. His hood shadowed much of his facial features, but the rest of his features were very much noticeable due to his black wife beater under shirt and his black cloth shorts. This fashion disaster that has become Isamu's "uniform" would show off his pale white skin and ill or frail looking health. However, his muscular frame was still there, or rather his fit, cut muscles were still there. He would not be considered a weight lifter or a mountain of muscles, but an athletic fit person. Some of his dark mop of hair was sticking out from under his hood, and the more observant bystander would notice the shadows under his eyes and the signs of insomnia seeping in.

Isamu sensed a presence a split second before that presence revealed itself. It was not enough timing for Isamu to react to it and if the presence would have been hostile, Isamu would have been far too slow to defend himself. He realized right then and there how out of practice he was, and knew that he needed to change it and quick if he did not wish to waste all of his time experimenting for power to go to waste.

A man in a white suit greeted him with a bow as he asked questions in a friendly manner. Isamu knew how the man had got the jump on him, because he could manipulate shadows with his chakra as well. It was a useful skill and one that Isamu was not prepared for, next time he would be. Isamu smirked at the man, not in an over friendly way or in a mean way, just a smirk to show that Isamu saw laughter in the man's actions. He had took the initiative towards a stranger to become friends, or at least acquaintances, not something seen often in the world of ninjas where each person is trained to kill another.

"Personal business actually, this will be my second visit for that same reason, however." Isamu smirk faded as he tried to remember what happen to him last time he entered Sunagakure, but the memory never came. He was called back to reality, instead of the shattered part of his memory, by the man introducing his self as Osagi Miroku. He also asked Isamu who he was and where he came from. All this while offering a canteen for Isamu to drink.

Isamu's appearance must have been worse off than you had imagined, and not to offend this new possible ally in Sunagakure he took a sip of the canteen and returned it to Osagi.

"Thank you. My grandfather always said to never turn down a free drink. I am Isamu Sunaku, originally from Kirigakure. Unfortunately, recent events has cause me to become a mercenary for hire."

It would seem that would be the end of their discussion for now as a guard had seen it fit to present them with his presence at that very moment. A rather cruel looking man who seemed to be strictly business as he got right down to taking over the show. He first ushered Osagi onward by stating he recognized him as a member of the Miroku clan. Apparently this man could be a useful ally while in Sunagakure. Next he asked the most serious question any guard can ask, state your business friend or foe. Obviously not the exact words, but the gist is the same.

Isamu reached in his short's pocket as he spoke and retrieved his passport. "Isamu Sunaku, from the village hidden in the Mist. Errr...or rather was from there. Seems my passport may need updated. I have been lost for some time, i am not sure how much time has lost. Yet, last thing I can remember was being allowed into Sunagakure. After that, blank. Believe I may be suffering some kind of short term memory loss. I am just unsure how much time I have lost exactly." After Isamu finished speaking he held out his, now, obsolete passport for inspection.

Here's to being honest. Perhaps his story made more sense to someone who could remember the last time he was in Sunagakure. After all they keep records of the ins and outs of their visitors. At least, Mist did. Isamu just supposed all villages did.

Sharingan Kuro nodded to Isamu and placed his palm upon a stone panel. As he did so a holographic panel came up detailing Isamu's last visit to Sunagakure. He committed no crimes and there was no record of his leaving. This would also be due to the Cabal having damaged the ANBU records storage beneath the dojo and and the main line from the Obsidian Palace. "Your last visit is recorded and since you committed no crimes and were generally of a good natured sort you are to be allowed to return. Our records were damaged by a terrorist attack but we do have your last visit and your good standing. Welcome back to Sunagakure."<i></i> WIth a polite half bow and a pamphlet for info presented he left.

Osagi watched the man intently he showed signs of exhaustion and from the looks of it he hadn't slept properly in who knew how long. Laughing the man seemed delirous, perhaps he had just thought Osagi was going to attack him? Next the newcomer proceeded to say that he was here for personal reason, stating that it was not the first time he had been here for such reasons. 'Most interesting...' he thought to himself with a grin, it would be interesting to get to know this man further. When he offered the drink and introduced himself, the newcomer graciously accepted before giving the Agent his name. 'Isamu Sunaku...' most intriguing and he was from Kirigakure, just wait till his Lord heard about this. "I see so you find yourself in the same boat as my Lord & most of my clan...the Miroku Clan originates from Kirigakure. I am sorry for your loss..." Osagi would say sincerely with another deep bow to the shinobi. Accepting his canteen as it was passed back to him, now Isamu was another Mercenary and they always had work for Mercenaries.

Isamu continued by raising his concerns about his passport, though before he could inform the shinobi not to worry it appeared a monstrous guardian had found them. From the look of the man it was his Lords brother in law, though he did not wish to expose the mans identity in front of a stranger. Recognizing his insignia the monstrous being waved him through giving him access to the Dojo and village. Bowing deeply to the massive being he would speak 'Thank you for the hospitality..." he would say with a deep bow to the monstrous being. They were both granted and he wondered how the Sunaku had come to lose his memory.

"Isamu...should you find yourself the time or in need of the company of Kirigakurian shinobi please don't hesitate to come to the Dojo. I'm sure my Lord would love to meet you." he would say with a small bow before walking back towards the Dojo doors. What a most curious turn of events this was, he had only just arrivived to the village from his last mission and was surprised to have been granted access so easily. 'It would appear Lord Akkuma has accomplished a great deal here since we last met...' he thought to himself with a small chuckle, Osagi got the feeling he was going to like Wind Country.

Isamu was right about one thing, this man was straight to the point. Not even a blink of an eyelash as Isamu stated about his memory loss. Must be a natural occurrence in Suna. Isamu's last visit was on record, but it would seem that is about as good as it got, as it never stated he left. Which he obviously had. Regardless, he has been granted access into Sunagakure, as well as been given some new information about the status of Sunagakure. Apparently a terrorist attack had some effective damage towards Sand. As for who was behind such an attack was left unsaid, but Isamu had a feeling it would not stay that long for now.

"Thank you. I trust this visit will be more pleasant than my last."

Osagi claims he, and the rest of his clan originated from Kirigakure as well. Isamu has never heard of this clan, but that does not mean the man is lying. Clans fall in and out of power like clock work. It is very possible that the clan was simply in a building stage during Isamu's time in Mist. A clan can take years or centuries to come to power after a clan head becomes decease and instability falls throughout the clan as they fight or bicker for supremacy. Either way, Isamu was invited to visit the Miroku clan at their Dojo inside of Sunagakure. This was interesting, and may lead to even more answers about Sunagakure as well as the answers Isamu has came in search for. With that in mind Isamu made his decision.

"Thanks, I will be sure to use your offer."

But first, it was time to explore this vast land that he can not remember. What exactly was he forgetting and why? Perhaps, his eyes would remember something his brain could not.

Time to go sightseeing.
