Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Deep below the main areas of the Toraono Dojo using seals only an Ancient or a lord of the Toraono Clan could wield Akuma Kuro meditated and used his bonds with nature to maintain a delicate balance with the natural energies that pulsed throughout Wind Country which he had to admit had become far easier since taking on the burden and nature of Mother Suna. His humanity had suffered, his demon side had grown stronger and now as 1/3 Earth ancient he could see more of who and what the Ancients were. That still did not answer why only a few of them could live in peace with humans but Kuro would solve that problem if he had anything to say on the matter. The leylines were intact and vibrant, to Kuro's curiosity two elder leylines had returned to full power. One before the breaking of dark seals and one shortly after, Kuro knew one of them was influenced by Youkai energy which meant their power was growing and harmonizing. The latest one however defied any analysis. Questions always remained, but the balance would be maintained.

Chakra Crystals lined the walls in specialized formations, unlike the refined carmot that was processed from sandwyrm excrement these crystals were grown in specialized formations, an ability Kuro discovered that Ancients and those touched by them were excessively good at. Kuro however would not change a single chakra crystal seal here however mainly because there was a balance to be maintained and after the centuries of channeling natural energy why should he dare change it.

Kuro sat amidst the foyer of the forbidden chambers beneath the dojo. They weren't truly forbidden or all that dangerous, what made them special was these chambers allowed one access to natural energy via the leylines. These were once regeneration creches for the Ancients of the Flame Court. The Toraono Clan and its extended families had kept them secret but their power was increasing and soon a new Lord would need to take on the duty of drawing in the massive amounts of natural energy that consistently surged from the leylines. It would need to be absorbed and then dispersed into the surrounding areas, Undersea, the Kazekage's Tower, and a few oases to ensure balance with the desert. Kuro had already found his successor and soon the dojo would be layered in white and the banner over the dojo would change for the succession of families. Kuro and his family could retire and take a back seat after over 500 years of consistently leading the collective that was the Toraono Clan. Kuro felt as if his shackles would soon be released. The Genbu family were alive and still guarding Ancients of the Earth. This meant the Suzaku family could still be out their guarding the ancients they had served during the war as well. It had been a difficult split long ago when they selected ranger status to stay and protect the Ancients they had served and formed bonds with. Kuro would see to it that the Genbu family returned to the clan and would begin his own search for the Suzaku family. Kuro had already decided the war with the ancients would end with him as well. He simply needed to convince Mother Suna, that might take another lifetime but luckily he was near immortal. As far as Mikaboshi was concerned he would need a challenge or too if Lord Masashi could not keep him occupied. That was another matter altogether and Kuro had already decided he would keep those secrets. The somewhat secret war with the Daimyo would end by his hands as well if he had any say in it.

Soon Byakko Yanjirou would return and Kuro would train him in mastery of the dojo ,its eternal mysteries, its natural powers. The Diamond Storm which the dojo had withstood was gone now. The dojo would soon be able to literally grow and assist in building the walls for a new Sunagakure. Miroku Akkuma had even brought in much needed and highly sought after materials necessary for construction and expansion. It was time to pass on the mantle and step aside for the future.

Summoner Kuro would sit quietly outside of the Byakko Compound waiting for Yanjirou, his bio prosthetic leg would pulse with regulated dark chakra every now and then. There was no sequence or regularity to it, the limb looked like a normal limb until the pulse of dark chakra revealed man made chakra circuits and chakra crystal infused bone matter would occasionally glow beneath the regenerated flesh. In his white battle robes he resembled a Byakko family member moreso than Kuro but his hair was silver gray, not snow white. Perhaps Yanjirou would allow his hair and features to change with the coming of responsibility, greater power, and knowledge. Kuro alone knew what Yanjirou was truly capable of. His eyes had seen the near limitless potential of the scion. Now it was time to draw forth that potential and mold the future leader not in Kuro's image but in the unlimited potential of a true Guardian.

The time had come...

Before his two year journey, Lord Toraono had spoken of Yanji's claim to the throne, and it had been a responsibility that weighed on the boy's mind, even before the title was given to him. Such responsibility, as the boy would have viewed it in the past, should be left to those more experienced in life, and a mere child - who had just barely become a full shinobi - didn't seem to be cut out for the duties that must be fulfilled. Perhaps, however, that was just because he did not know of the true duties of a lord.

The young Byakko sat amidst his mess, books still scattered around the room from years before, and dust filling the air. Meditation focused his mind on whatever trials were to come, would they be physical? Mental? Spiritual, even? There was no telling what Kuro had in mind for his chosen heir, but they were sure to be difficult. He knew not how a lord claimed his throne after all, but it was unlikely that the title would simply be passed on without some form of test. Taking a final, long breath of air, Yanji rose from his floor.

"I suppose it is time to go..." Somehow, none of the tutoring that he'd received up till now really felt like it was all for the same purpose. Somehow, it all seemed to be Kuro's want for Yanjirou to grow into a fine shinobi, which it still could be - but all relationships within such an important clan must be business... It mattered not.

Throwing on the gi which bore the Byakko clan's sigil, Yanji made his way to the exit of their dojo. Upon opening the door, he saw a rather large obstruction in his path. Another one of Kuro's paths, it seemed. Giving a deep bow, Yanji would greet the beast of a man.

"Good morning, Lord Kuro. I suspect you've come to deliver me to the location of my lessons today?" Why else would he be there? It seemed quite uncharacteristic of a lord to simply pop in and say hello. Upon standing back up, Yanji would observe the outfit he wore - almost mistaking it for Byakko colors himself, but knowing full well that wasn't the case...

Summoner Kuro bowed then took an all too familiar stance, it was a stance that Yanjirou had mastered long ago. It was innate and could only be duplicated by those possessed of the same potential and power. It was then Yanjirou would notice Summoner Kuro's eyes, they were almost exactly like Yanjirou's except instead of light there was a fringe of dark chakra to them. His features made him an all but exact duplicate of Kuro but his eyes and combat stance and now that he noticed it his enhanced leg spoke only Byakko clan. After a display of chakra and stance Summoner Kuro then relaxed and sat before Yanjirou in a fluid kneeling motion. "There are a great many secrets to this dojo, many if not most of them are in plain sight. What you just witnessed is that this form was originally of the Byakko family. He was my cousin Mouko, he took a dark path and bound himself to a lesser demonbeast in an attempt to not only emulate many of my original natural and supernatural capacities but surpass them. For a very brief time he did but it cost him his soul and I was forced by destiny to claim his body as my own as part of the reincarnation of Hyakujuuonouu. You however will not have to live as a kinslayer. You are the light of hope and will one day lead the entirety of the Toraono Clan out of war and antiterrorism to something greater. Byakko Mouko was a male tiger speaker, capable of great feats of agility and combat. Originally he sacrificed his innate sight to bind his soul with a demonbeast to be like what he thought I was. Unfortunately he did not ask enough questions or get all the facts. I am a King Incarnate not a beast soul bound. You however go far beyond that... I only have an inkling of the power you actually possess because eons ago when the world was new Byakko's third born child bestowed some of his power unto Hyakujuuonouu the first Demonbeast King and eventually that small celestial spark was passed unto me. I won't be able to master it as well as you but I can teach you how to wield it, how to call upon it. IF YOU DARE TO ACCEPT THE MANTLE OF THE LORD OF THE TORAONO CLAN AND ALL IT'S KINDRED THEN STEP FORTH AND LEARN OUR SECRETS SO YOU MAY MAKE AN EDUCATED CHOICE. You need only sit before me and place a drop of your blood upon the floor and the lessons will begin. If you choose not to accept this path I will understand. I did not want this duty at first, especially at your age but after being an ANBU Captain for 2 years the world opened my eyes to the dangers lurking out there and that was just scratching the surface. I feel it would be better if you simply knew what was coming instead of blindly walking into the storm. Well... what is your choice?"<i></i>
