"Not full-blooded ones, I think they're... Less conscious, y'know what I mean? Haven't met a full one, but anything I've ever heard about them was bad so I'm not exactly looking out for 'em, hahaha," Shrugging it off as if she didn't believe in the existence of actual demons, Naoki carried on walking and considered her next question. "Mmhm, got special pardon on the grounds that I help out in the liberation of Sunagakure. I mean, I guess I did sorta help, but I just didn't feel like I deserved the title of genin quite yet... so I ended up heading back in there after working up the money to get in for some classes." The thought of those days was enough to get her to grin at the failures she experienced in there, with trouble manifesting a clone and resisting genjutsu in general.
"Besides, genin-level missions aren't normally dangerous, I didn't even know how to use ninjutsu that well when I started out on some of mine. Oh hey, I think there's mission available for students too, if you wanted to try some out? Genin missions aren't too different from those in any case, so we might be able to try some out in the same general area!" She turned back to Tsubaki at this point, wanting to try and catch any and all of the slight gestures that would indicate an inclination towards one side or another. For one thing, observing that quick thinking on the field would be beneficial. For another, Naoki found that it was nice having someone along when doing missions. Makes it all much less exhausting.
"So um... about food, and level of spicy? Ah say, what kind of food did you like back before you moved here?" Food was a nice subject to talk about. Plus they still had no destination at this point.
