Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

With his interrogation of the young women the ANBU branch had brought in completed there was not new and fresh worries that plagued the Hyuuga's mind, when she finally decided to spill her secrets about the organisation she was a part of there way always reference to a group. With the mention of them being not one but many there was doubt in Yukio's mind that it would simply be the group he had encountered while outside of the village, they were powerful yes but even the strong need peons to do their dirty work for them.

Once again he found himself skipping out on sleep for a mission, at this point following the Hokage's orders was not exactly difficult all things considered. With his constant stream of missions, training and occasional meetings with Takeshi there was rarely time to eat let alone get a few hours sleep. But as time went on Yukio had become accustom to these long shifts of work for the ANBU branch in the grand scheme of things they were all suffering exactly the same way which could help build relations between them. As many had said to him hardships can only make you stronger.

As the sun set beyond the horizon Yukio tilted his head back looking up to the starry sky strapping the clips on his combat gloves together before squeezing his hands into fists, if he had anything to be grateful for it was these late nights allowed him to see the starry sky more than most. Although many things looked strange through the Hakumei eyes considering his colour-blindness this was one of the new that didn't and so he could still appreciate in it's full majesty unless more than stars became apparent.

Taking a few steps out of the Uchiha household he stretching in preparation for moving out towards to more important areas of the village pulling a hood over his head from his black cloak as to blend in with the darkness as he brought a hand to his chin, a light hum splitting the calm and quiet atmosphere of the night. There was many things to take into consideration in matters such as this, if anything the easiest way to figure out where they may be going would be to think about how he would attack the village from the inside.

Taking a moment to look around the search began for something that would make a good viewpoint allowing for an eagle eye view of the village, if he could combine the view with the range of his eyes there was the change the large area coverage would yield quicker results than simply wandering the streets and asking those who weren't asleep yet if they had seen any strange activity around the area. Eventually after consulting a map and some investigation he found himself perched on a tower like building.

It wasn't the same as looking out from the top of Hokage rock though trying to find something that compared to that view within the village walls was like trying to find a needle in a haystack. The mission however was going to be so much more than that, rather than a needle in a haystack it was like trying to find a grain of salt on a beach and as such he would have to be paying attention to the minor details, it was made easier by seeing the few Chakra networks of people in the streets at least the ones within his visual range.

For all he would prefer to be able to see whoever he was hunting here and now that would not be the case, such a mission would not be so easy and with the time it took to even find one of them finding the rest would be less of a challenge and more just a matter of patience and time something Yukio had learned to have in good supply. Sitting down and crossing his legs he pondered in that moment wondering where there was within the village to hide or where would be the best place to blend into society.

The first thing that came to mind was the bars and taverns around the area but such things would be too obvious and would only gain rumour and suspicious from outside the village rather than within. If they wanted to integrate the better places would be that of the average working individual with the repairs going on frequently around the village and the usual activities of such employment it wasn't unusual to gain access to important areas for such purposes.

With this new idea in mind he quickly left his lookout post seeing nothing out of the ordinary as he made a move towards the general work areas and current building sites around the village, sticking to the shadows as to remain out of sight. If there was anything out of place it would be in the foundations of such places, or something that was designed to cause prolonged damage of the building over time something that would cause the attention of the village to be drawn to the area for at least a few days or weeks if everything went their way.

Walking through the foundations of one of the more recent constructions in the shopping district he bent to one knee running his hand across the base of the structure focusing his eyes to see if any foreign Charka sources would make themselves apparent. Raising an eyebrow no Chakra seemed to be present in the base of the structure however there was signs of neglect and shortcomings around the infrastructure areas where given enough time the building would give out due to neglect but subtle enough that it wouldn't be noticed without proper investigation.

As he continued to investigate further a slight hint of movement passed to his right, hesitating for only a split second he continued his business creating the image he had not made note of their presence. This would on the surface appear to work as three individuals came to confront him. Each was as unique as the rest the lead being a rather tall and slender women glaring down at his back while two shorter men stood at hers, seemed they had intended to approach him regardless of whether he knew they were there or not.

"Seems your a rather inquisitive one, I am surprised you didn't turn up sooner seems leaf is not as attentive as we gave them credit for. It's a shame really maybe we've overestimated you."

Her tone was condescending and had a sense of superiority in it, something that made a tsk escape the Hyuuga however such basic and antagonistic tactics were something he'd become accustom to and something he practiced himself during interrogations. Safe to say it brought them to a stand still as the silence filled the air the situation was only getting tenser as time ticked by someone would have to break the silence and Yukio would ensure it was him making the first move.

Spinning on his heels Yukio made the hand motions commonly associated with the Hyuuga clan a corridor of air being formed from his palm launching towards the women, it would not be enough however the two who stood by her were quick to react slamming their hands into the ground forming a wall of earth between him and his targets. Hesitation would not overcome him however bringing his hands together to form a series of seals before slashing the tips of his fingers to the side a Scythe of wind tearing through the wall to reveal only the two men standing there.

In the chaos the lead had slipped away and with some haste at that, his focus darting around in the few precious seconds he had to attempt to lock onto her location but with all the winding streets and the distraction given by the two before him there was little to no time to do a thorough check to see where she’d vanished off too.

That would have to wait until later at this point for now he had to deal with the two standing in his way and quickly before they potentially damaged the area around them. This would mean all high level and area of effect jutsu were off the table, if he brought them in after causing collateral damage there was little chance he would receive and thanks for his actions. With this in mind he had something in mind to deal with both of them at once rapidly repeating hand seals he had done so many times before as his body was coated in a blinding light.

in the moment they were blinding shards of mirror Jutsu found their way into their arms and legs impaling and disabling and chance of escaping the onslaught finally being finished with the Hyuuga's fists connecting with their guts as he sent a shock through their chakra systems as they sprawled to the floor. Seeing them out cold Yukio sighed to himself he'd caught two of them but as he let his eyes traces the area around him there was no sign of the third.

Making a mental note of her presence in the village he walked over to the sorry pair taking one under his arm and one over his shoulder made his way back to the ANBU buildings occasionally stopping to ensure his new found friends remained sound asleep for the trip. Upon entering the building it seemed the cells had remained very much the same over the last few years, dark and unwelcoming just as they had always been as he threw the pair against the wall, letting them land with a thud.

Pulling the cell doors open with a loud creek he put little care or effort into funneling them into the place slamming the door behind them and stretching with a yawn escaping him it had been another long night same as it had always been. It was becoming natural habit not to sleep for days on end from this point, and it didn't look like that situation was going to change any time soon. Yukio didn't mind these circumstances it was already something of a bad habit of his to skip out on the necessities in exchange for training and missions.

Though he could feel his body tensing up more and more as time went by, there was only so much the human body could take and sooner or later it would give out given enough time. No matter how well trained the Shinobi they were still only human and with that Yukio turned on his heels leaving a report on the situation with the ANBU standing guard as he made his way back to the Uchiha household for some much needed respite.
