[col]Hiro is a bit taller then the average twelve year old students in the academy, standing at least a few good inches above the rest of his peers. He has a slander, almost skinny, build that along with his above average height gives him a scrawny look. His muscles underdeveloped when it comes to shinobi standards, having spent little time working on his physical frame, but they are still tougher then the normal villager's.
Hiro has a light brown, bob style haircut that falls around the side of his head to around the jaw line. In the front of his head he has short bangs falling around his eyes to the bridge of his nose. His most distinguished feature is his reddish brown eyes, which under the right light can sometimes appear completely red.
His normal attire is a black vast that is sometimes buttoned up and sometimes left open. A short sleeved red undershirt that is usually tucked into his black pants. The usual look is often completed with black boots that end at the top of his ankles.|Throughout the first ten years of his life, Hiro could count on one hand the times that he has seen his father. As a member of the secret Anbu unit, Hiro's father was almost always away on important missions, missing many birthdays and milestones in his son's life and playing no active role in his upbringing.
To push away the pain and longing he felt, the boy made up stories about his father's heroic adventures, making up a fictional history for his father thus creating an idol to worship whose foundation never materialized in the real world. For the boy never knew his father. Even in these rare times he did see him, the two would often get no real time to be together, as the father would usually be called away.
At the age of ten, just a few days after his birthday, the young Hiro witnessed something that shook his world to the core. His father was returned to the village after dying in a mission. His mother tried to prevent him from seeing his father's body but the young boy sneaked into the morgue room and saw his father's burnt form.
Something in him snapped that day. The moment he saw his idol laying dead, his entire body blackened by the flames that burned him, he became obsessed with learning the secrets of the flame. From that moment on he started committing himself to mastering the path of fire to try and tame that which has taken away his hero.[/col]
