Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.
Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.
Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.
The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.
Old Profile Topic Title Uh... Kouta's Profile? I have no idea. (Should have my name in it...)
Old Training Topic Title Kouta's Training? No idea. (Should have my name in it...)
Old Dojo Topic Title Kouta's Dojo. Still no idea. (MAYBE had something to do with "No Fear in this Dojo" if that was this character, can't remember. Probably has my name.)
Any Relevant information that can aid us in finding your information My username was Kouta. I don't know of anybody else that had a character/username like that, and my topic titles most likely have my name in them. I was a Wind Valkyrie. Only Taijutsu wasn't capped. Good luck. I had only joined Leaf a couple months ago (depending on when your backup is) so profile/dojo would probably be near top. Ask me if there's anything I can do to help?
New Character Name Kogami Ayumu

Physical Description:
Kouta has medium length black hair which reaches a bit past his ears. He has one dark red eye and one dark blue eye, the latter being a replacement after losing his left eye in a fight. He usually wears a contact lens of either color to match, though sometimes he doesn't. He stands about 6' tall and weighs somewhere around 173 lbs. He is fair skinned and has an athletic build that one would expect from a shinobi who puts several hours a day in to training when not on missions.
Mental Description:
Kouta is not exceptionally friendly, though he has become less bitter than he was in the few years after his family's death. He doesn't turn his nose up at talking to people, but some could find his attitude unpleasant and he can be rude at times. He is honest to a fault and can hurt feelings unintentionally and find himself emotionally unequipped to remedy it. He doesn't purposely attempt to turn people away, it just happens. He also has issues with trusting people, though not to the point of paranoia.
Kouta also has a short history of mental illness which he doesn't speak of to anybody. For a while after he discovered his family was dead he created a delusion in which he believed they were still alive. When he discovered once more that they were dead, he began seeing hallucinations of his family- sometimes alive, sometimes as corpses. He has sense gotten his issues mostly under control.
Character History:
Kouta was born in a forest in Lighting Country to his parents who lived a simple life of growing and hunting for their food in the forest. They only occasionally went to a nearby town for additional supplies if they needed it. They intended to raise Kouta in that environment as well, and taught him to do those things as well. He frequently went out hunting and was able to bring back small animals to contribute to the family's well being.
One day, while hunting, Kouta was abducted by a Missing-nin from the nearby Cloud village. This man was formerly a brilliant developer of jutsu of all kinds and an avid researcher. Of course, when his abduction of and experimentation on unwilling humans was discovered, he was forced to flee the village or be caught and jailed for life. Hiding in the forests, he had built a home and research laboratory hidden within the same forest in which Kouta's family lived.
Short on human test subjects, the Missing-nin simply known as Kuro was willing to take anybody. He found his test subject when he and Kouta crossed paths within the forest. Luring the trusting Kouta in to a trap away from his home with pleas for help, his hired swords restrained and abducted Kouta. Kouta was placed in a cold room within the basement of Kuro's compound where he slept on stone floors and was fed only enough to sustain his life. For a month, he remained imprisoned while Kuro developed a special jutsu, just for him.
When it came time for testing, Kuro's men restrained Kouta as the Missing-nin placed something similar to a Dark Sage's Malevolent Seal on the struggling boy. The seal was a cruel technique meant to slowly drain a person's lifespan as long as the seal remained exposed to the sun, but there was an unforeseen side effect. The way the seal interacted with Kouta's dormant bloodline caused his chakra to go out of control, causing a giant tree to erupt from the earth under and through the Missing-nin's lab nearly killing him and giving Kouta the chance to escape back home.
Upon hearing Kouta's story, his family, who were avid users of their bloodline abilities, assaulted the Missing-nin and his men and drove them from the forest. Kuro vowed revenge even as he fled. Shortly afterward, Kouta traveled to Kumogakure and joined in hopes of finding away to get rid of his fatal seal. For several years, he had to cover the seal from direct sunlight to avoid its harmful effects. Finally, after he had already become a Jounin in the village, he met a seal expert in Cloud capable of removing the curse. At last, it seemed as though his life was turning around.
Shortly after that good news, bad news came. An associate of the Missing-nin from years earlier entered Cloud and tried to kill Kouta, attempting to carry out Kuro's sworn revenge. From interrogating the assassin using some creative methods, Kouta learned that his family was also being targeted for revenge by the Missing-nin whom they had driven away so long ago. In fact, assassins had been dispatched to hunt them at the same time the one after Kouta had set out.
That night, Kouta went rogue from Kumogakure, not having the time to go through the proper channels to leave legally. He entered the forest of his origin and hurried to his family's home with all possible haste. When he reached his birth home, he found it burnt to the ground accompanied by the charred corpses of his family, no longer recognizable. His mind could not take the trauma and created a delusion that he had arrived in time to fend off his family's attacker and made a plan to get his family in to Konohagakure for protection. Upon arriving at the gates of Konoha, the guards did not buy the lie he made to attempt entry. In his troubled state of mind, he attempted to fight his way in, but was defeated badly, losing an eye and the ability to use his bloodline. After losing, he was brought in to the village in restraints and thrown in a cell.
By some grace, the Hokage, the very man Kouta had sought an audience with, visited Kouta to hear his reasoning for attempting to enter Konoha. After his explanation, Kouta was released from the prison and allowed to seek employment by the village. He met with a Sennin and was permitted to join the ranks of Konoha's shinobi in a provisional status. After proving himself for a while, he was given the full standing of a Jounin in the village.
They would not permit him to leave the village yet, but Kouta was able to hire a team to go to his home in Lightning Country in search of his family. After a week of anxious waiting, the team returned with bad news. They reported their findings, the same that Kouta had discovered and forced from his mind months before. At this news, no longer able to avoid the truth, his mind broke. He began to see apparitions of his deceased family members, or rather the unrecognizable corpses he had found, using their voices. He was committed to the psyche ward of Konoha's hospital under the care of the only person he trusted in Konoha.
After a month in the psych ward, he left of his own volition, insisting he no longer saw delusions. At the very least, he had become good enough at acting like he didn't see them. At first, the person he thought of as his friend tried to get him back in to the hospital, but he fought it. Eventually, she seemed to give up on him altogether and left Kouta alone. This is the way Kouta has remained since then- alone. That was the last time he tried. He purposefully pushes people away, no longer willing to put himself on the line for anything. Now he lives isolated in a foreign land, simply existing and nothing more.

Ayumu stands about 6' tall and weighs approximately 173 lbs. He has a slender, though muscular, frame with relatively long arms and legs. His clothing choice varies, but because of his slightly bad eyesight you can count on him wearing his glasses consistently. His hair is black and a little messy usually, but he manages to make it look stylish somehow. His eyes are a grayish blue hue. As for style, he usually wears some sort of fashionable jacket (as it's rarely warm in Cloud, just varying degrees of cold). Additionally, he usually ears a long-sleeved shirt underneath whether it be some kind of graphic design or a button-up. He always wears a belt, usually brown, which incorporates his headband protector. Most of the time he is wearing jeans of varying shades of blue. In a mission setting he wears the standard ANBU armor, whichever color will help him stand out the least. Character History:
(Full history in spoiler...) To sum it up, Ayumu's parents were shinobi that met during the demon invasion of Kumogakure. They dated, married, and had Ayumu. His father retired from ANBU to have more time for him, but both parents were still actively taking missions. His aunt and uncle helped in taking care of him. Ayumu always wanted to become a shinobi, so of course he entered the Academy. As he graduated and rose through ranks in the Main Branch, his father returned to the ANBU. Ayumu became a Jounin in his late teens. After Ayumu's father was injured on the job, Ayumu decided to become an ANBU at his father's request and follow in his footsteps to restore honor (and also because it seemed fun). He is currently an ANBU in Training.
Ayumu's parents were both shinobi, as is the case for many shinobi children. His mother was a Main Branch shinobi of Jounin level and his father was an ANBU, though he pretty much always portrayed himself as a Jounin, even to Ayumu. During the demon invasion of Kumogakure, the two of them were in the same unit which introduced them. Afterwards, they grew closer and began dating, then had married and had Ayumu.
Ayumu's father initially retired from the ANBU to the Main Branch to give him more freedom to take care of Ayumu. Both he and Ayumu's mother took less missions in order to be able to spend more time with Ayumu, although as with any shinobi family there was only so much they could do. Ayumu's aunt and uncle also helped with taking care of him. Since neither of them were shinobi, they were often able to take care of him when both his parents had a mission that required them to leave the village.
There was never any question as to whether Ayumu would become a shinobi. Even before he was of age, he loved to play ninja with his neighborhood friends. As a child he was very rambunctious and often ended up in fights or getting injured doing something reckless. He was definitely a handful for his parents and family. More than anything he wanted to become a shinobi, which his parents were proud of. Unfortunately, it was mostly because he thought it sounded fun. He entered the Academy, and though he ended up in trouble a bit more than other children, he did quite well and graduated quickly.
As turbulence grew within the political scene in the country, an increased need for ANBU arose. Ayumu's father, being a very loyal member of the village, stepped up and returned to the ANBU. Meanwhile, Ayumu remained as part of the Main Branch and rose through the ranks at a steady pace. He would eventually reach Jounin rank. After an attack on the Raikage by two unknown culprits, Ayumu's father was one of those sent to seek them out. Unfortunately, his mission failed and he was injured severely, enough that it ended his career as a shinobi.
Although Ayumu had already known that his father was an ANBU, the man had never outright told him even when pressed. He was an advocate of keeping ANBU identities secret. It wasn't until a while later that his father actually told Ayumu that he was part of the ANBU, and told him of his mission that had ended his career. He asked Ayumu to join the ANBU, for the son to continue what the father had started. Ayumu had thought of the possibility of joining the ANBU several times.
In his mind, he imagined that they had the most action packed job of all shinobi, something that appealed to him. When his father, whom had almost never asked him for anything, asked him to do this, the last of his reservations disappeared. Ayumu joined the ANBU in Training program, and began his journey, to rise through the ranks of ANBU. Although his father told him not to worry about it, the thought of finding out who harmed his father was also an incentive for joining. At the moment he is a fresh trainee, learning the ropes of being an ANBU.
