Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

    • Gender: Male
    • Height: 188 cm (6’2”)
    • Weight: 87.1 kg (192 lbs)
    • Hair Color: Blonde
    • Eye Color: Blue
    • Clothing: Ever since Yoshi has returned, he can be seen wearing an outfit that many may perceive as silly or flamboyant, but Yoshi views it as purely functional. What he wears is Celestial Armor granted to him by the Kami warriors that he frequently worked with during his time away. His armor consists of a silver top with green and gold trim and a large number one million in gold lettering matching the trim across the chest, silver boots with gold soles to match the top, blue pants with large white, rectangular patches sewn on the side that act as subtle item pouches, dark red, padded gloves, and a large, red cloak that he frequently wraps around his body to avoid his armor drawing unwanted attention, but appears in combat similar to a cape. He also always wore his Leaf Forehead protector as a belt to represent where he came from, even during his disappearance. The gold number one million has some significance to the Kami who forged the armor, but they never fully explained it to Yoshi so he can only partially explain it to anyone who asks.

Character's Mental Description: Before he disappeared, Yoshi was lighthearted and goofy, frequently cracking jokes at inappropriate times and smiling in the face of danger, but since he has returned he’s only used his previous personality traits as a mask to hide the trauma he underwent during his time away. He is in constant agony and he has suffered great losses, but he is still able to keep his energy high for his comrades. He will always keep a smile on his face to ensure that people worry about themselves, rather than wasting their energy on what he considers a lost cause. Despite this, he still finds comfort in fighting strong enemies and loves to watch the youth of his village grow into capable shinobi. They are the only things capable of distracting him from his pain, and he finds these things worth continuing the fight, even though he grows tired of it.

Character History: In his Academy days, Yoshimitsu was regarded as a genius. Not only had he mastered the use of Fire and Lightning style ninjutsu, but he had also learned to control the Advanced elemental combination of the two, Plasma style. Not only that, but in his academy class, he seemed to be unparalleled by his fellow students in one-on-one combat sparring. As a result, the academy instructors saw it as a waste of time to continue limiting his growth by having him learn alongside students who did not learn as fast as him. He was granted an early graduation and began his training as a Genin.

During his training as a Genin, Yoshimitsu discovered that he had another skill that had been dormant thus far. He was able to manipulate the space and reality around him to shift a battle in his favor. He discovered this ability by accident during a mission when trying to save a teammate from a deadly blow. He was able to step through time-space and reach his teammate and block the blow with speeds that he could never have imagined possible. Upon returning from the mission, Yoshi began to refine this skill until he could control his movements more precisely and bend reality to his liking, more-or-less.

When it came time for his Chuunin Exams, he was able to use his newly mastered skills to breeze through most of it. It was a large exam full of several Genin, so he had to fight a lot. On the battlefield he came across a single Genin team that gave him trouble. Specifically, one person on the team gave him trouble while he was able to dispatch the other two genin rather easily. The one that gave him trouble was a blue-haired kunoichi that seemed to be around his age, and she was beautiful. She skated across the battlefield as if unaffected by gravity or the laws of physics. Her movements were fluid and deliberate. He was mesmerized by everything about her.

At the conclusion of the exam, Yoshi was promoted to Chuunin and it became his new personal mission to find this girl. When he did, it turned out that she was also impressed with Yoshi and was on her own personal quest to find him. Her name was Kagura Ayumi and she was also promoted to Chuunin. They quickly became close and began taking on high-rank missions as a two-man cell. Their teamwork and the synergy between their unique abilities grew astronomically, making them seemingly unstoppable when they fought together. It wasn’t long before they caught the attention of the Hokage at the time, Lord Yamaguchi Kami, who appointed them both the rank of Jounin and began sending them on very dangerous but important missions for the village.

After one mission, from the perspective of the village the duo disappeared completely without a trace. The village received word that the mission was completed successfully, but the two Jounin never made it back home. Their whereabouts were a mystery, but as time moved on, so did the village.

In reality, however, upon completing the mission the couple was approached by a Kami by the name of Mercury. He informed them that all of reality was in peril and that it was prophesized that only a pair of humans who were capable of becoming one with space-time could save it. Feeling a need to fulfill their duty, the two went with Mercury to what seemed like another dimension. They took part in a long war with the Kami against a powerful demon whose name was incredibly difficult for a human to pronounce or understand. As a result, due to Yoshi’s immature personality he frequently referred to the demon as several silly nicknames such as “Oni-chan.”

In their final battle, it seemed as though they finally had Oni-chan cornered. They fought with him and mortally wounded him, but as he was injured on the floor he revealed to them that he had lured them into a pocket dimension that he created, and since it was linked to his life force, it would disintegrate if he died. After his explanation, he trapped Ayumi, ensuring that he would take someone down with him. Yoshi attempted to save her, but Ayumi, not wanting him to suffer the same fate, used her Gravity style ninjutsu to force him through a portal to get out safely.

As Yoshi was being forced through space, he could see the pocket dimension behind him disintegrating along with the love of his life. Unfortunately, Yoshi was hurtling through reality outside of time without a destination, and he had no control of where he was going or where he’d end up. It seemed as though he was floating through nothing for centuries, alone and in mourning of his lover, when a powerful kami known as Ina appeared to save him. She said that the Kami owed the two of them a great deal for their work, and she gave him her condolences for Ayumi’s sacrifice. For his contribution to reality, she inscribed his name in what she referred to as the “Book of Life” and she helped provide the energy required to send him back home.

Yoshi was propelled back through space, but much faster this time. He saw a light approaching incredibly fast and was launched through it, bringing him back to an environment that felt familiar, but looked incredibly different. The mountain that once only had Lord Kami’s face on it, now had three more faces next to it. Everything looked bigger and more advanced. Was this really the reality that he left behind?

Kinjutsu App: Temporal Strider
“Nowhere left to run, Oni-chan!” Yoshi said with his arms crossed and a smug grin showing itself proudly on his face. Before him stood the mightiest foe he had ever faced up to this point, but Oni-chan was outnumbered. Fighting by Yoshi’s side was the fastest Kami he had ever met and an expert Nintaijutsu combatant, Mercury the Swift; another Kami who bears a demonic appearance but hosts a large heart, as well as incredibly strong ninjutsu and genjutsu skills, Samil the Deceiver; and the love of his life as well as the most graceful fighter Yoshi had ever laid his eyes on, Kagura Ayumi.

They had been chasing Oni-chan across time and space, hopping from one dimension to the next, and they had finally caught up to him. He was cornered. “It is time for you to pay for your crimes,” Samil proclaimed, simultaneously doing handseals. The large, ugly, ogre-like demon they had been chasing began to speak in a language Yoshi could not understand, but he could tell that the Youkai was both angry and disgusted by the group. He got into a defensive position as Samil launched a large, black fireball from his mouth towards the demon that was so massive that it felt like it took up the entire room.

It appeared as though the demon was standing his ground, possibly to either deflect the blast, or just absorb the blow, so Mercury took this brief cover from the fireball to reposition, sprinting at insane speeds to the left flank of the fireball. If the demon stood his ground, it would leave him open to Mercury’s attack. Oni-chan seemed to realize this and made a move to jump out of the way, but what he failed to notice was that Ayumi was hanging from the ceiling above him, her hands outstretched towards him. She was using her Gravity style ninjutsu to make it difficult for him to effectively dodge. At this moment, it became clear that the demon was planning on attempting to block the fireball and counter Mercury’s attack. However..

“Gotcha,” Yoshi chuckled from behind him, causing the beast to turn his head in a look of horror and defeat. The instant that Oni-chan turned his head to Mercury, Yoshi had analyzed the demon’s blind spot. He waited for exactly the perfect moment, and he teleported to that spot to launch the perfect surprise attack, only achievable by his team’s perfect teamwork and coordination. After working with each other for so long, they were capable of creating plans on the fly without communicating them verbally.

Yoshi channeled a massive amount of chakra to his right fist, causing it to glow a bright red color, even through Yoshi’s gloves. He launched the supercharged fist up into the large being’s right kidney, causing him to reel back in pain. “You’re done!” Yoshi roared as he slightly repositioned to be more in front of the Youkai, simultaneously channeling more chakra and every negative emotion he had built up over this journey into his left fist. That fist contained the heartache for the Kami that Yoshi had befriended that were brutally murdered in front of him during this war. It contained the screams of the innocent people who were disintegrated on the whim of this demon. It contained the tears of the children left without families. The fist glowed in a wild, uncontrolled, dark blackish aura.

Yoshi slammed this fist against the side of Oni-chan’s face, seemingly dazing him for a moment, providing the perfect opportunity for Yoshi to finish out his combo. “One more!” he bellowed as he channeled more chakra and every positive emotion he had built up in his right fist. This fist contained the laughs he shared with the teammates that he had befriended. It contained the smiles of the grateful civilians that he saved. It contained the love that he felt for Ayumi. This fist glowed in a calm, contained, bright white aura. Yoshi smashed this fist square in the middle of the Youkai’s ugly face, knocking him somewhat off his footing.

Yoshi quickly teleported out of the way as Mercury came sprinting through at breakneck speeds, his body coated entirely in lightning chakra. As he ran past the demon, there was a bright flash of light. Whatever happened, it happened so fast that Yoshi could not even hope to have perceived it, but a second later the demon’s right arm detached from his shoulder and fell to the ground with a surprisingly loud THUD.

Now dazed and disarmed, the Youkai could not defend himself from the large ball of black fire that was hurtling towards him. The flames quickly engulfed him and continued its trajectory until it slammed against the back wall, slamming the Demon with it. The creature fell on his back, on the brink of losing consciousness when Ayumi came flying from the ceiling like a shooting star and landed on his torso. Her knees pressed into his torso, she pinned his remaining arm with her right hand and unsheathed her weapon with her left. Her weapon was a Holy one granted by the Kami, known as the Reality Key. As its name suggested, it was shaped like a key and was used to open portals between worlds. It was how Ayumi and Yoshi would navigate dimensions if they did not have a Kami with them.

With the blade, she pointed it down towards his chest slowly, looking him in the eyes. Yoshi had never seen so much hate in her eyes. He thought that only he had possessed that much hate for the demon. “No one else will suffer because of you,” she said softly, then she plunged the blade into the demon’s chest. The demon coughed up blood and roared in pain, and then after a short moment, he began to laugh. “You’ve lost. What could possibly be so funny?” She inquired, becoming visibly annoyed. The demon began to speak in a language that neither she nor Yoshi could understand, prompting her to twist the blade in his chest. “Try again,” she said coldly as the demon roared in pain again.

“The moment you stepped foot in this pocket dimension I created, you had already lost.” The demon laughed. Yoshi was unaware that the beast was capable of speaking their language at all, but as he spoke, Yoshi began to understand why he was laughing, and horror slowly started to show itself on his face. “If I die, this dimension will cease to exist, along with everything in it.”

“We have to go now!”
Mercury shouted as he did a quick hand seal, opening up a portal out of the dimension, but before anyone could react, several tendril-like appendages flew out of the wound in the demon’s chest and grabbed on to Ayumi’s entire left arm and blade, forcing her to slice his chest open more so he would bleed out faster. And as his chest opened more, more of the tendril-like appendages flew out and they wrapped themselves around Ayumi’s entire body, preventing her from moving.

“Ayumi!” Yoshi shouted and began to run over to her, but as he began to run towards her, he noticed that the look in her eyes changed from one of anger, to one of fear. She knew that there was no way she would escape in time, and she feared that Yoshi would suffer the same fate as her if he got to close to the tendrils, so she lifted the arm that she was using to pin the demon’s arm and she reached out to him. Yoshi thought she was reaching out for him, until his feet were lifted from the ground. He looked down at his feet, and hen back up to Ayumi with a desperate look of defeat in his eyes. “Please..” he whispered as a tear started to roll down his face. Then she launched him through the portal that Mercury had created.

As he was flying out of the dimension, he attempted to teleport back into it, but as he was doing so, he watched the dimension disintegrate right before his eyes. Yoshi stared in utter horror as his entire world vanished in front of him. But he still had to try. As a result of trying to teleport into a dimension that was in the process of destroying itself, Yoshi experienced a powerful shockwave that launched him through reality outside of time. He was surrounded in bright colors and what looked like clouds of energy, but everything seemed so far away.

As Yoshi was hurtling through this unfamiliar plane of existence, he began reaching out for something to stop his momentum so he could take a moment to figure out how to get out of this, but there was nothing to grab onto. He was just plunging through nothing at high speeds. It was almost dizzying. Not only that, but he lost the thing he cared about more than anything in his world. His life was literally falling apart, and he couldn’t do anything about it.

After what felt like several decades of flying through nothingness at top speeds, Yoshi ran his weak, wrinkled hands through his long, grey beard and realized that he had gone through every stage of grief multiple times. At times he was certain that there was a way she could’ve slipped out of the dimension before it collapsed. Maybe Mercury and Samil got her out. They were powerful Kami capable of opening space-time after all. Maybe they managed to cut the tendrils or move the entire body in time. She was powerful on her own, maybe she found her own way out.

Eventually he would just get angry. Why did Mercury open that portal? She would’ve never been able to force Yoshi out if he hadn’t. Why couldn’t they have saved her? Why wouldn’t she let him be with her during their last moments? Why wouldn’t he have just tried to teleport sooner? He would swing at stuff to try and release his anger, but there was nothing to hit so he would just become angrier.

There was nothing Yoshi wouldn’t do to find out that Ayumi was safe somewhere. He would give up all of his earthly possessions. He would donate to charity. He would build homes for the homeless with his bare hands. He would literally give his life for her to be okay.

There were so many moments when Yoshi would just fly through this reality of nothingness crying. Thinking about the times they had and wishing it wasn’t ripped from him so violently. Why did they have to accept this mission? Why did they have to be the ones from the prophecy? They could’ve stayed in the Leaf village, where everything was simpler. But he couldn’t just be happy with the simple life, and it cost him everything. He was filled with regret. He replayed the moment over and over in his head for decades.

Then there were moments where Yoshi realized that this is what Ayumi wanted. She didn’t die sad. She died doing what they loved and saving the one she loved. She clearly would rather die knowing that she saved Yoshi, than dying alongside him, and there were many times where he would find comfort in these thoughts, but it wouldn’t be long before he repeated the cycle and would go back into denial.

Several more decades past. Yoshi had no way of telling time, but he knew for a fact that he had been existing in this plane of existence without food or water for at least 100 years, but he didn’t know how. What was sustaining him? In fact, he knew that he was aging because of the long grey beard, so why was he not dying of old age. Yoshi reached up to his beard and grasped at nothing. Yoshi kept grasping until his hand finally touched his face, smooth and soft. Smoother than it was when he fought the Demon with Ayumi. How was that possible? He looked down for any trace of his beard and noticed that, not only was his beard gone, but his hands were tiny, and his legs and torso were shorter.

He was a child!

He had somehow de-aged severely and didn’t even notice it. It was at this moment that Yoshi began to realize how he was surviving in this reality. He was somehow absorbing vast amounts of temporal energy and that’s what was sustaining him. Yoshi did not know whether to consider this good news or bad news. On the bright side, it would give his teammates plenty of time to find him. On the downside, if they never did, he would exist in this reality for all of eternity, and that is not something that Yoshi looked forward to. But he had to stay strong mentally in case they did find him.

Several more decades past. This time probably more than the other two times combined. Yoshi had been floating outside of time for centuries. He was losing hope. He had been fighting to maintain his sanity for so long. He was on the brink of giving up. He did not know what to do. The emotions in him started to rise. He didn’t want to give up but being himself was becoming so hard. He was hanging on to so much negative emotion that it was almost too much to bear.

A single tear rolled down Yoshi’s cheek.. Immediately after, a bright light appeared in front of him, almost blindingly. Yoshi held out his hands to block the light out when it struck him what was happening. All the negative emotions in his body were quickly replaced with positive ones. This was amplified tenfold when the voice spoke to him, “Yoshimitsu. I have finally found you.”

Yoshimitsu stood in the school yard, watching as the other students sparred in one-on-one combat patiently waiting his turn. It was clear to him that some of the students were not grasping some of the concepts that their instructor was teaching them in class. Many of them had sloppy form and would overextend their attacks, leaving several openings in their guard. Lucky for them, the other students weren’t even able to notice these mistakes so they couldn’t capitalize on them.

“Up next, Shinji and Yoshimitsu!” The instructor announced to the yard. Yoshi’s face quickly lit up. It was impossible for him to contain his excitement.

Yoshi turned to Shinji with a friendly smile and said, “Do your best, okay?” Shinji nodded to him and the two quickly ran over to their positions in the designated sparring area and awaited the instructor’s command.

“Ready… FIGHT!”

Yoshi quickly got into a defensive stance, waiting to see what Shinji would do. Unsurprisingly, the child did not think much before throwing himself at Yoshi. Heavily illustrating a right punch, Shinji put his entire body wait into his very first attack. Yoshi sighed in disappointment as he moved towards Shinji’s right side. He put so much of his effort into the punch, there was no way he could adjust to Yoshi’s movement in that direction. Once Yoshi had fully gotten out of the way of the fist, he grabbed Shinji’s wrist and used his feet to block Shinji’s feet from continuing their forward momentum, forcing him to fall over forward.

A second later, Shinji was on his belly with his arm locked behind his back and Yoshi basically sitting on him. “Excellent work Yoshi! Now, perform the unison sign.” Yoshi released the other boy from the hold and stood up. Once Shinji stood up, Yoshi gave the boy another friendly smile and held his hand out to him, performing his half of the sign.

As Shinji reached out to meet Yoshi’s grip, Shinji’s hands started to disintegrate. Yoshi looked at the boy’s hand in horror and then quickly looked up to his face, which was emotionless up until the point that his entire body had completely dissolved. Yoshi looked around and saw all the students dissolving. Yoshi desperately looked to his instructor for some kind of guidance or answers, but the expression on his instructor’s face was different. It seemed triumphant. “You’ve already lost,” he said with a distorted and demonic voice. The voice seemed extremely familiar.. but how? Yoshi pondered for the remaining seconds as the world around him began to disintegrate into nothing, then the pit in his stomach revealed to him his worst fears. The voice was familiar because it was the last voice he heard before his world was destroyed.

Oni-chan

Yoshi’s body jerked as his eyes flew open quickly before he realized what had happened. A tear slowly rolled down his face as disappointment flooded through his body. “Just another memory,” Yoshi thought to himself as he continued to float through the vast infiniteness of nothing.

Yoshimitsu opened his eyes to the beautiful view of nature before him. There were squirrels wrestling over a nut, birds singing and flying in patterns akin to dance, and butterflies gently landing atop the many blooming flowers around him. The sun was still high. He must have only napped for a short amount of time.

“Finally awake I see,” a beautiful and all-too-familiar voice said to him. I’ve never seen someone sleep so peacefully in a wooden chair.” Yoshi smiled softly and looked up to the source of the voice and saw the beautifully aged face of his wife, Ayumi. At this point, her hair lost most of its blue color and was now almost entirely white, her skin had shaped with a few wrinkles here and there, and her eyes required the use of glasses now. Despite this, her voice still had the same calm control and enunciation that it always had, her posture was still as strong and graceful, and her eyes were just as beautiful as the day Yoshi had first looked into them that day in the Chuunin exams.

Yoshi ran his hand through his now-greyed beard before reaching over to his cane. He used it to help himself stand from the chair and he began to walk over to her with it, but as he began to move toward her, it seemed as though the distance between them had grown. Yoshi’s heart dropped in a way that was all too familiar at this point. “No..” he whispered to himself.

He began to walk faster, but then his cane disintegrated beneath him, causing him to lose his balance and stumble to his hands and knees briefly before regaining control and walking faster, as though he never needed the cane in the first place, but the distance between the two continued to grow. “No no no” he began to repeat as he broke out into a run. Ayumi’s expression had not changed once, but the environment around her began to disintegrate as well. “NO!” Yoshi shouted as he quickly stepped through a rift in space and stepped out right in front of her. Just as he reached out to grab her, she disintegrated as well,
leaving Yoshi floating in the vast expanse of nothingness that he had grown accustomed to.

Yoshi had relived several memories in his life during his time in this personal hell, but this was different. He and Ayumi were never able to grow old together, so what kind of cosmic joke could this have been? There were two possible explanations. One was that this realm he existed in was being controlled by someone who wanted Yoshi to suffer. The other was that he just experienced what could have been. An alternate timeline where he had never agreed to help stop Oni-chan. Yoshi clenched his fists in anger as he grit his teeth so tightly that hear could the blood rushing through his face. As tears streamed down his face, Yoshi bellowed out a scream containing every negative emotion he had accumulated during his time in the void. The scream told the story of his pain as it echoed through nothingness.

Unfortunately council has decided to reject the OCR request. This decision has come due to the time manipulation part of the history. Current rules don't allow that so please edit that part of the History. Any questions please contact any council member, that includes myself.

Have a great day!

Hiya! Been a while, but can I resubmit this application since the taboo rules have changed? Probably the only thing that would be different is in the history there is another Hokage face now.

I would like to ask as to what " taboo" you had done with your current application and which part wouldn't need to be changed which was asked in the past.

The reason given to me was that Time Manipulation in my Kinjutsu app was not allowed, which if I recall correctly was in reference to my character disappearing and reappearing decades later and my character aging and de-aging while floating through the void. I wasn't entirely clear on what was and wasn't allowed with the Kinjutsu before Time Manipulation was removed from the taboo list.

[Limbo Training]

As Yoshimitsu hurdled through what felt like nothing but bright lights and empty air, he couldn’t help but wonder how much time had past and what he had missed. He dreamed about what would happen if he were ever freed from this endless hell. Would he recognize his home? Was anyone he knew or loved still alive? It was impossible to truly know how much time had passed, but he knew it had been enough to make a difference. His loved ones probably assumed he had died long ago.

It was one of those days where he began to forget. Forget who he was, what he had done, where he was from. So much time had passed. The only thing he ever remembered clearly was Ayumi’s beautiful face. Sometimes he even forgot her name.
“I have to remember,” he muttered to himself. He couldn’t lose himself. He had to hold out hope that he was be freed. “Terrible thing to lose..” he slurred through his fuzzy thoughts. He didn’t know how he knew, but there was a part of him that knew that his time was coming.

Then she appeared in front of him. Just out of reach from him.
“Ayumi?” he whispered to himself, a smile slowly sneaking out onto his face. She smiled at him and giggled. He could feel his heart beating faster as he reached out to grab her. She did not react to his movement. He wiggled to reposition himself in this open gravity-free space so that he could reach out and grab him, and just as he got close enough to touch her hand, her form dissipated into a colorful vapor-like energy.

Yoshi’s brain stopped for several seconds. There were no thoughts forming in his mind, but he could feel the massive waves of emotion colliding with each other in his soul. He was incredibly angry, but he was also deeply sad. The resulting tears that streamed down his emotionless face were the potent combination of the most miserable existence, followed by the brightest hope, only for the hope to be wrenched from his grasp.

This was defeat.

Heya, I apologize for the delay in handling this. But we're finally getting to it.

So there are several key factors in your OCR that still, despite the taboo rules having lost some restrictions that are still very much present.
This comes from the perspective of the Administration team, the contract team, and the Lore team which are all equally impacted by your written history.

For starters, your History doesn't dictate the history of the entire world, or should be able to change lore for the site at large.
The Space-Time being somehow related to Kami, and Demons fighting over it, that alone is an issue.
The whole world somehow on the verge of destruction due to these unseen, and unknown figures inside of a pocket realm, if this might not have been world-ending cataclysmic or dealing with such crucial part to all existence, it might have been looked upon more leniently.

Secondly the rules regarding Contract beasts and Overlords such as it's written specifically mentions how it's against the rules to utilize any knowledge or history regarding these without first going through the contract system. Basically, if you want to use Kami or Youkai in your history or OCR you first must have already gained a Kami or Youkai contract. (This could be done through the OCR if your previous character had a contract before and you're transferring that)
And I will note, on behalf of the Contract team, even if you did have the Kami contract, the first note regarding changing lore is still true. It wouldn't be permitted.

So with that said, I'm going to have to deny it for the above issues.
If you wish to have someone to kick ideas back and forth in attempts at rewriting certain parts or the whole thing, I welcome you to DM me on Discord or here on-site, and I'll do my best in assisting you where I can.

His armor consists of a silver top with green and gold trim and a large number one million in gold lettering matching the trim across the chest, silver boots with gold soles to match the top, blue pants with large white, rectangular patches sewn on the side that act as subtle item pouches, dark red, padded gloves, and a large, red hooded cloak that he frequently wraps around his body to avoid his armor drawing unwanted attention, but appears in combat similar to a cape.

After one of the missions, from the perspective of the village the duo disappeared completely without a trace. The village received word that the mission was completed successfully, but the two Jounin never made it back home. Their whereabouts were a mystery, but as time moved on, so did the village.

In reality, however, upon completing the mission the couple was transported to what seemed like a pocket dimension where they were greeted by a Kami by the name of Mercury. He informed them that an incredibly dangerous and violent Youkai had escaped from imprisonment, putting hundreds of lives at risk. It was prophesized that only a pair of humans who could become one with space-time could stop him. Feeling a need to fulfill their duty, the two accompanied Mercury. They took part in a small-scale, but long-winded war against the powerful demon. His name was incredibly difficult for a human to pronounce or understand. As a result, due to Yoshi’s immature personality he frequently referred to the demon as several silly nicknames such as “Oni-chan.” He would attack small villages seemingly randomly, making it hard to predict where he would end up or who he would attack next, so the team would always appear in the aftermath of the carnage.

In their final battle, it seemed as though they finally had Oni-chan cornered. They fought with him and mortally wounded him, but as he was injured on the floor, he revealed to them that since they had followed him into a pocket dimension that he created, and since it was linked to his life force, they would disintegrate along with it if he died. After his explanation, he trapped Ayumi, ensuring that he would take someone down with him. Yoshi attempted to save her, but Ayumi, not wanting him to suffer the same fate, used her Gravity style ninjutsu to force him through a portal to get out safely.

As Yoshi was being forced through space, he tried to fight his way back to his love but ended up accidentally putting himself into a state of temporal stasis. He was experiencing time and space separately from the real world. However, since his brain could not comprehend exactly what was happening to his body, his mind perceived the experience as if he were hurtling through the vacuum of space with no control of where he was going or where he’d end up. However, it wasn’t just blackness and stars. The sky was spattered with various colors and patterns. He had no clue where he was. It seemed as though he was floating through nothing for centuries, alone and in mourning of his lover, when he heard the voice of a powerful kami known as Ina. She said that the Kami owed the two of them a great deal for their work, and she gave him her condolences for Ayumi’s sacrifice. For his contribution to reality, she inscribed his name in what she referred to as the “Book of Life” and she helped to remove him from his temporal stasis. Unfortunately, it took a while for them to break the stasis, so a good amount of time had passed since he left the Leaf Village.

Yoshi was propelled back through space, but much faster this time. He saw a light approaching incredibly fast and was launched through it, bringing him back to an environment that felt familiar, but looked incredibly different. The mountain that once only had Lord Kami’s face on it, now had four more faces next to it. Everything looked bigger and more advanced. Was this really the reality that he left behind?

Kinjutsu App: Temporal Strider
“Nowhere left to run, Oni-chan!” Yoshi said with his arms crossed and a smug grin splayed across his face. Before him stood the mightiest foe he had ever faced up to this point, and it was quite the ordeal to track him down. It was Ayumi’s brilliant thinking and sensor skills that allowed them to track his chakra signature and link to it using Yoshi’s space ninjutsu. Of course Oni-chan was using portals to get in and out of villages, why else would the prophecy ask for Yoshi and Ayumi.

Yoshi was wary of Oni-chan’s power, but he didn’t plan on being on the defensive. His greatest strength was his speed and if his opponent’s didn’t know to expect it, it was even stronger. Yoshi and Ayumi stared at Oni-chan silently, under the guise of taking the defense and waiting for his first move, but they had much more aggressive plans. Yoshi stared into Oni-chan’s eyes as he unsheathed a massive broadsword that was on his back. Then it happened. The instant that Oni-chan’s eyes began to blink, Yoshi channeled and released chakra from the tip of his finger in one swift motion in the form of a plasma laser and aimed it directly at Oni-chan’s heart. When his eyes opened, the duo could clearly see the surprise behind his eyes that an attack was launched so quickly that he didn’t see it happen.

The large, ugly, ogre-like demon began to speak in a language that Yoshi could not understand, but it was clear that he was disgusted by the duo. He got into a defensive position to indicate that he was standing his ground, perhaps to either deflect or absorb the blow. Yoshi used this as an opportunity to teleport into his blind spot and try to get a sneak attack in, but as soon as Yoshi appeared behind Oni-chan, his eyes quickly darted from the laser to meet Yoshi’s. That was a surprise. How did he manage to sense Yoshi? He didn’t make a noise when he teleported and his feet hadn’t even touched the ground yet, so he should’ve had the element of surprise. What would be his next move, though? Would he dodge both attacks or would he try to block both?

He shifted his feet in a manner that indicated to the duo that he was going to attempt to jump out of the way of both attacks, but it quickly became evident that he would not be able to easily dodge this attack. Oni-chan looked up above him and noticed that Ayumi was hanging there above him, hands outstretched and holding him in place. She was using her gravity-style ninjutsu to make it harder for him to move.

Oni-chan allowed a smile to creep its way across his face. This should’ve alarmed Yoshi, but he fully understood and related to what that expression meant. He had finally found a challenge.

Oni-chan quickly swung his sword at the initial beam of plasma that Yoshi had launched at him to block it and turned his attention back to Yoshi. It was impressive that he was swinging that massive blade under these gravity restrictions, but this was no time to be admiring Oni-chan. He swung the massive blade at Yoshi, who quickly teleported above and behind Oni-chan to attempt for another sneak attack, but he reacted to this as quickly as he did the first one, maybe even faster. He already had his foot launching at Yoshi at high speeds. Yoshi couldn’t teleport again so quickly after just reappearing so he lifted his arms up to attempt to block. Luckily Ayumi reacted fast enough to erect a barrier around Yoshi, absorbing the impact of Oni-chan’s blow. She then launched Yoshi out of the way of any potential follow-up attacks using her gravity jutsu.

Ayumi launched herself at Oni-chan, unsheathing her sword with a fluid motion as she came down upon him. Her sword was a unique one forged in the shape of the key. It was gifted to her by the Kami and was meant to allow her to step through space to assist in the war effort. It was known as the Reality Key. Oni-chan lifted his sword to block Ayumi’s attack. On impact, Yoshi noticed that Oni-chan’s feet sunk into the ground slightly. Ayumi must have altered her weight to add more force to her attack.

With Ayumi having a majority of Oni-chan’s attention, all Yoshi had to do was knock him off balance. He did a few quick hand seals, channeled lightning chakra into his palms for a brief second, and then fired a large beam of lightning energy at Oni-chan. He wasn’t in a position to dodge, so how he reacted in this situation would either seal the fight, or give Yoshi the information he needed to finish it. Yoshi and Ayumi locked eyes for a brief second and he could tell that she knew what he was thinking, so she didn’t let up.

Oni-chan smiled and released one of his arms from the sword that was holding Ayumi off, but it didn’t seem to lower the strength behind his defense. He wasn’t even giving 100%. He reached out to Yoshi’s Gigavolt Cannon and blocked it with his bare hand. Yoshi smiled, because now he knew what he had to do. Oni-chan was strong and fast, but there’s only so much he can do. Yoshi focused chakra into his fists to prepare for an attack, and he destabilized his molecules a bit before teleporting a short distance from Oni-chan and launching a punch at him. Oni-chan still had a hand free, so he easily reacted to and caught Yoshi’s punch, which he was counting on. Oni-chan squeezed tightly. It felt like Yoshi’s hand was going to shatter, but this was a calculated risk. Shortly after Oni-chan began squeezing, another Yoshi appeared where Yoshi had just teleported to a second before and launched the exact same attack. He threw the first Yoshi to the side and attempted to react to the second Yoshi’s attack, but then a third Yoshi appeared and launched the same attack again. This time Oni-chan caught the second Yoshi and attempted to throw that one at the third Yoshi, as a fourth one appeared launching the same exact attack. With Yoshi’s Fractured Reality taijutsu move occupying all of his attention, he positioned himself in his blind spot, hoping that the surprise attack distracted him enough to not be noticed again. This appeared to be the case fortunately.

Yoshi channeled a massive amount of chakra to his right fist, causing it to glow a bright red color, even through Yoshi’s gloves. He launched the supercharged fist up into the large being’s right kidney, causing him to reel back in pain. He lost his footing and Ayumi was able to break his guard, lopping his arm off with her sword and crashing into the ground like a meteor. “You’re done!” Yoshi roared as he slightly repositioned to be more in front of the disarmed Youkai, simultaneously channeling more chakra and every negative emotion he had built up over this journey into his left fist. That fist contained the heartache for the people that were brutally murdered and died just as he arrived at the scene during this war.

This fist contained the laughs he shared with the Kami that he had befriended. It contained the smiles of the grateful civilians whose families that he saved. It contained the love that he felt for Ayumi. This fist glowed in a calm, contained, bright white aura. Yoshi smashed this fist square in the middle of the Youkai’s ugly face, knocking him somewhat off his footing.

Yoshi quickly teleported out of the way as Ayumi came crashing down onto the demon again like a shooting star and pinned him to the ground. Her knees pressed against his chest, she pinned Oni-chan’s remaining arm with one hand and used the other to point her blade into his chest, making sure not to break eye contact with him. Yoshi had never seen so much hate in Ayumi’s eyes. He thought that only he had possessed that much hate for the demon. “ No one else will suffer because of you,” she said softly, then she plunged the blade into the demon’s chest. The demon coughed up blood and roared in pain, and then after a short moment, he began to laugh. “ You’ve lost.

“If I die, this dimension will cease to exist, along with everything in it.” Yoshi didn’t have enough knowledge on pocket dimension to know if the demon was bluffing, but he wasn’t willing to take the risk.

“We have to go now!” Ayumi shouted to Yoshi as she pulled the Reality Key out of Oni-chan’s chest and pointed it away from her. In the direction she was pointing her sword, a portal opened up, but almost immediately after the portal formed, several tendril-like appendages flew out of the wound in the demon’s chest and wrapped themselves around Ayumi, preventing her from moving.

“Ayumi!” Yoshi shouted and began to run over to her, but as he began to run towards her, he noticed that the look in her eyes changed from one of anger, to one of fear. She knew that there was no way she would escape in time, and she feared that Yoshi would suffer the same fate as her if he got too close to the tendrils, so she lifted the arm that she was using to pin the demon’s arm and she reached out to him. Yoshi thought she was reaching out for him, until his feet were lifted from the ground. He looked down at his feet, and then back up to Ayumi with a desperate look of defeat in his eyes. “Please..” he whispered as a tear started to roll down his face. Then she launched him through the portal that she had created.

As he was flying out of the dimension, he attempted to teleport back into it, but as he was doing so, he watched the dimension disintegrate right before his eyes. Yoshi stared in utter horror as his entire world vanished in front of him. But he still had to try. As a result of trying to teleport into a dimension that was in the process of destroying itself, Yoshi experienced a powerful shockwave that launched him through the portal and into what seemed like an unknown plane of existence.

She was powerful on her own, maybe she found her own way out. Maybe Oni-chan was lying about her dying and she was forced back out into the real world.

Eventually he would just get angry. Why did she have to open that portal? She would’ve never been able to force Yoshi out if she hadn’t.

He would give up all his earthly possessions. He would build homes for the homeless with his bare hands. He would donate his limbs.

On the bright side, it would give his village plenty of time to find him. On the downside, if they never did, he would exist in this reality for all of eternity, and that is not something that Yoshi looked forward to. Did they even know he needed to be saved? He had to stay strong mentally in case they did find him.

I can finally bring you home.”

    • Gender: Male
    • Height: 188 cm (6’2”)
    • Weight: 87.1 kg (192 lbs)
    • Hair Color: Blonde
    • Eye Color: Blue
    • Clothing: Ever since Yoshi has returned, he can be seen wearing an outfit that many may perceive as silly or flamboyant, but Yoshi views it as purely functional. What he wears is Celestial Armor granted to him by the Kami warriors that he frequently worked with during his time away.

She was powerful on her own, maybe she found her own way out. Maybe Oni-chan was lying about her dying and she was forced back out into the real world.

Eventually he would just get angry. Why did she have to open that portal? She would’ve never been able to force Yoshi out if she hadn’t.

He would give up all his earthly possessions. He would build homes for the homeless with his bare hands. He would donate his limbs.

On the bright side, it would give his village plenty of time to find him. On the downside, if they never did, he would exist in this reality for all of eternity, and that is not something that Yoshi looked forward to. Did they even know he needed to be saved? He had to stay strong mentally in case they did find him.

I can finally bring you home.”

Taking in to council land, will prod contract land too. But is it correct I don't spot a 1500 wordcount as to how you got this kami?

Is the word count required if I already owned the contract on my previous character? I thought I just had to make sure it was explained how it was obtained on this one. If I do need a 1500 WC I can write another 200 words into my Kin app if that would suffice.

Regular history 100 wc. BL application 200wc. Kinjutsu 1500 and then contract 1500wc all seperate wordcounts required and contract land really would like to see how you got the contract
