Thinking of going back again, under controlled circumstances this time so I don't burn out like I had before. Anyway, could it be checked if I can apply for Retirement? I don't particularly like the thought of training all over again but I'm thinking of playing another character if Akane's relations are all gone/have moved on.

I believe you can apply for retirement and then create a new character.
And since your previous character was a Missing you can apply to be one again.

Actually, I still have some things in mind for the twins. Would it be possible to NOT OCR, reactivate, but get a name change and make it so that they've gone through a time skip and major personal plot point? This whole thing is just tedious for me right now.
