Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The sky was grey as white flakes of snow slowly fell. The winds were steady, making things much colder as usual. Overall though, everything was clear and quiet.

Today was an easy day for the gate guards. Their was little to no traffic in and out of the village and in this era of peace it seemed like no one had to worry about intrusions. Still, the guards would still need to be on their toes.

Especially since a rip in space was opening up in the distance, creating what seemed like a growing black hole. One wouldn't be able to see what was coming out of the portal, but whatever it was, the chakra was immense. To make matters even more interesting, whatever the thing was, it was coming straight for the gates. Creeping slowly.

"It has been a pleasure training and fighting along side you."

"Right back at ya."

"You are the first to have ascended this far. And to even be able to utilize the power in battle to a certain degree is amazing."

"It's all due to the help of my feline brethren. I shall return to finish the training sometime soon. Overall, im just glad I was able to help in battle."

With each step, the snow crunched at their feet as they came closer to the gate. It was a hooded individual and a white tiger that nearly blended perfectly with the snow. Smoking, the hooded individual watched as two gate guards dropped from their post ready to meet them at the gates as they drew near. Perhaps the large chakra source emitting from a single being caused the guards to be on red alert. Little did they know, their medical sennin was home.

Miri ignored the cold. Spending one’s life as a gate guard in one of the coldest climates in the world did that to a person. No, it was the whiteness of it all that bothered the hell out of her. The blank landscape, while quite beautiful, made it difficult to spot disturbances until it was almost too late to see them. Added to the light of day, it was one giant, light-reflecting blindfold that covered the land in the most painful way possible. Thank Raiden above that it was snowing. She kept her sunglasses stowed in her pocket regardless. Just in case the sun decided it wanted to make a grand appearance.

It appeared today, however someone wanted to make give the sun a run for its money—like that of a giant black hole in the expanse of white. They made it clear that they weren’t hiding their presence. This meant one of two things. They were a friendly or the felt they had the balls to breach the gate. As she and another gate guard descended from the top of the wall, she flicked her com to a general broadcast just in case this individual would be the latter.

“Halt,” her current partner said to the hooded man as he approached. “Passport, and state your business.”

Miri kept silent as she accessed the figure, the snow paired with his hood made it difficult to discern his identity. A soft gale from the west blew past him, carrying the scent of a familiar herbal cigarette that she hadn’t smelt in while. It was an almost forgettable characteristic of the approaching individual, but Miri was a very astute observer.

“Well, well. The prodigal brother returns.” Miri said with a smug smirk as she crossed her arms and cocked her hip. “Stand down, solider. It’s just our Medical Sennin returning from another long adventure, and it seems he brought a friend,” she chided playfully motioning him to make an introduction to his feline companion. While their last encounter was less than pleasant, this time Miri was warmer to Junko. Not because he was of a higher rank, per se, but because what he did happened a long time ago, and Miri wasn’t one to hold grudges. Well, not when they didn’t pertain to her.

Silently she muttered into her com to open the gates. “Mind if I borrow a cig?” she asked turning back to him as they waited for the door to have a wide enough gap for him to pass. “I ran out a couple hours ago, still have a long wait before the end of my shift.”

Slowly stomping through the snow like the predators they were, the duos feline like eyes slowly shifted and analyzed the on edge guards.

"Halt"
"Passport and state your business"

The voice echoed with power or perhaps fear. It was obvious that the shinobi didn't want the huge chakra source even near the gates. Puzzled to why he was met with such authority, Junko looked down to his feline companion with a raised brow as they continued to press forward.

“Well, well. The prodigal brother returns.”

“Stand down, solider. It’s just our Medical Sennin returning from another long adventure, and it seems he brought a friend,”

"It has been awhile indeed. Meet Akira." Junko said placing a hand on Akiras head. The six hundred pound white tiger slightly bowed as it's tail slowly moved from side to side. Junko could still feel the nature energy inside him, allowing him to temporarily activate the "ultra instinct" state of the felines. In this state, his eyes matched Akiras. Junko's mental cognition and body was in an acute state, granting him a new repertoire of abilities that mimicked the felines. Unfortunately, he had yet to fully explore or even control this advance state. He only had the basics

“Mind if I borrow a cig?”

“I ran out a couple hours ago, still have a long wait before the end of my shift.”

Reaching into his inner coat pocket, Junko pulled out his box of smokes along with his passport even though he knew he didn't need to.</COLOR>

"I hope all has been well. Not only with you, but the the village. How's the village been during my absence? If you don't mind updating me." Junko said as the gates opened as he handed Miri a few herbal cigs. "Need a light?" Junko said bringing out a metallic lighter with the Tsuyoshi's family crest as they made their entrance.

“Thanks,” she said as she accepted the lighter and gave him back his passport. She made quick work lighting it, and by the time the doors were fully open and ready to pass, Miri had already taken a long drag from the fragrant, but fake tobacco.

“The Raikage requested your presence upon your return. Other than that, it’s been pretty quiet,” she said as she stretched her neck. With the business done and her message passed, Miri turned to make her way back to her post. “Oh, and we reinforced the village doors shortly after you left. Juuuuust in case. So, there’s that.” There was a smirk on her face that implied the additional comment was intended to be a playful jibe.

With the stomp of her foot, the cold earth beneath her shifted and a platform lifted her back to the top of the gates.
