Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kuromairu Nishiro
It hadn't been that long since Nishiro was last in the village...a month or two, at most. Yet he had almost entirely forgotten the sounds, sights and smells that accompanied the village he had called home all his life. However, he didn't have time to stand at the gates like a tourist and take in the atmosphere, he was back to find someone, he was sure one pf the villagers would be friendly enough to share the information he sought. It was just a matter of who to ask...he needed someone who would have a high chance of knowing the whereabouts of the person he was looking for, after all, he didn't want to draw attention to himself. The Kazekage was the most likely candidate, but there was always the chance that he might recognize Nishiro. The man leaned against the wall and pondered his options. After a few moments, he decided to see if he could take in the sights and see what the village had been up to in his absence. Eventually he would stumble across someone with information, and if he found the person themselves. Then all the better. "So let us see what has been going on." He spoke to himself, striding confidently forward as he took in the sights.

[To anyone joining, I apologize for the very short start but I am just not very good at them, I hope you understand :p]

Sousuke was returning from the dojo after a rather vicious scolding from Lady Azame. It was a long time coming considering he had completely ignored her request about skin grafting a new arm. He very much liked having his mechanical arm. It was a reminder of his short comings, but more importantly he had a longer way to go in terms of being a truly competent fighter. While that was the case, the Steward was no slouch. He could certainly hold his own.

Sousuke passed by the mystery man who seemed to merely standing there drawing in the setting. The Steward wore armour from head to toe. His armour was emerald colour and spikey. An older model that was extra weighty. His movements needed advanced planning due to the extra weight. It was the same model that he had used when he had claimed the surface. The model has since seen significant revisions. The armour individual stopped mid stride. He turned right around and looked at Nirshiro squarely in the eyes. Sousuke knew those features. It was an inherited feature. He was merely staring at the old version of a child that he liked to think he knew well. The Steward would walk towards the man and stand before him. "Nishiro of the House Kuromairu, the first of his name. Father to Riyota."<i></i> He announced to the man. Nishiro knew of course his own name, but did he expect the armoured individual to tell him exactly who he was? Sousuke reached up and began undoing some of the clips that locked his helmet into place. After a few moments, he removed the helmet. "Looking for your son perhaps? Or perhaps you were thinking of your next business transaction?"<i></i>

"Just as apt as ever Lord Kazekage, I was certainly not expecting to run into you so soon." the man smiled lightly, yet somehow his overall expression did not change. "But surely to make a business transaction I would first have to own a business?" the man questioned almost playfully, hoping the polite banter would distract the other man. "As for the other guess, I suppose that is right, however it is not absolutely urgent."

Nishiro raised an eyebrow at the other man "You seem distrustful of me Sousuke...Have you come to detain me? Do you expect me to randomly murder a citizen at some point. I have come with only peaceful intentions Sir. i am not your enemy...not yet, at least." With that last sentence, there was a very slight change in the man's face as if he was calculating something, then it returned to the same neutral expression. "In any case, are you going to point me int the right direction or did you simply come to state my name and information?" Nishiro said before giving Sousuke his signature fake smile.

"Business transactions need not the owning of a business to complete, merely the interaction with one to do so."<i></i> Sousuke countered what was light banter. Humor was not one of Sousuke's strong points. It was curious though that the man did not considering seeing his son an urgent matter. Perhaps there was some distress between son and father? Riyota had lost his family's axe, that could have been what the distress was. The disappointment of a father was something most difficult to handle.

What followed next was something not quite expected coming from the joyous child's father. It was a throw down of sorts. Randomly seeming. Sousuke raised an eyebrow at several of the remarks. Seriously? This was not at all suspicious. Sousuke was uncertain of the man's tone. He could have been sarcastic, but he seemingly was not. "Curious. In a few words and minor interactions you have come to that conclusion. It makes me wonder indeed, not that I have an open ended warrant to conduct a search accordingly."<i></i> He answered. The man's quirking gesture was not missed by the Steward. A wolf in sheep's clothing? The smile on his face was certainly not helping his position at all, "Your expectations of me of yourself are rather high."<i></i> He added considering the murder of citizens was something most unwholesome. Perhaps the best part yet was the remark of direction. Sousuke folded his arms and stared at the man unblinkingly, "Where exactly would you wish to be directed? As it stands right now you are directionless. I'm afraid to say, divinity is not in my skill set."<i></i> It was now Sousuke's turn to answer the man sharply. Just what exactly was Nishiro playing at?

"Caught me yet again." he chuckled, although this failed to lighten the mood at all. "It was not my intention to be standoffish of course. I was merely asking you." It seemed the Kazekage was unaware of any of Nishiro's crimes as of now. This was good, it gave the man some time to conduct his business freely in Suna before he would need to return to skulking in the shadows.

"If you're handing out directions for free would you mind pointing me towards the nearest tavern?" the man smiled coldly, in an attempt to distract Sousuke so the other man would not grow suspicious. "I am dreadfully parched from my young journey." He cleared his throat to emphasize the point. "Perhaps you would even like to walk with me, Lord Kazekage? You could tell me what my boy has been up to, hopefully he hasn't caused you much grief..." the man continued, fixing his jacket as he chuckled once again.

Sousuke's face remained deadpanned as he listened to Nishiro speak. He did have to wonder if this was the man's intentions, if so ... then why? Why would one be a donkey ... ass ... at first opportunity? Sousuke had to wonder if Riyota if he got older would inherit his father's snarky attitude, hopefully he would not as there was Riyota's mother who was the other equation to the makeup of the child. That was a very consoling thought as Sousuke turned his attention back to one of two parties who helped to spawn Riyota. "I know of several taverns, but unfortunately I am not sure which one offers the best drink. Let me put in a call."<i></i> Sousuke put his helmet back on and motioned for Nishiro to walk with him.

"Yes. It's me."<i></i> Sousuke spoke to an unknown party. "Yes, my wounds are healed... and yes I am very disappointed in myself."<i></i> He added with a pang of melanchony in his voice. "We need to get together again. My treat. I know of six different taverns, but which one offers the best drink? I don't drink all that much and you know that."<i></i> He listened to the other party speak, "Yes. That sounds good. Meet me there in in fourteen minutes, six seconds and ... two nanoseconds."<i></i> He ended the call, "Yes. Let's walk and talk, and no your son has not caused me any grief. In fact he is quite excellent. He is an avid learner and ready for most things. Let us continue the discussion at this tavern."<i></i>
