Karida is a large young man standing 6’2 and weighing 190 pounds. He has long curly brown hair pushed back in the front and allowed to hang loose in the back going down to the start of his back. Karida has a large scar going across his chest and several smaller scars on his face. He generally tries to maintain a rough and unpleased expression on his face so as to avoid potential interactions he would otherwise care to avoid.
Personality/mental description-
Karida largely distrusts and doesn’t particularly like most people. That being said, he is not at at all shy. If he disagrees or has a problem he is the first to speak up. He is not the type to pretend to like a person or thing even though he doesn’t. He is blunt and forthcoming with his opinions and ideas and will not apologize to anyone for it. Karida is for the most part a kind good natured man, but he is willing to do whatever is necessary to accomplish his goals. Despite not particularly liking people, he recognizes the right of every person to live their life and wishes to defend that right while working towards his own deeper personal goal.
History- Karida was born to two loving parents in Leaf Village. His parents were both chunin of the Hidden Leaf Village. Growing up, Karida looked up to his parents and their important roles in the village. That said, he had no desire to follow in their footsteps. He knew it was a dangerous job and didn’t think he was cut out for it. He also knew it would greatly upset his mother who wished for him to take over her father’s ninja tool business. Karida enjoyed all of his time with his parents immensely and made the most out of every day.
This peace for his family would soon come to a halting, violent stop. The job of Karida’s parents was to stand guard over an entrance to the Leaf Village. They were to stop all unauthorized people from entering or leaving. When Karida was 13 years old a powerful leaf ninja was attempting to leave the village. This rogue Shinobi attempted to escape through the exit guarded by Karida’s parents. He managed to get the drop on Karida’s parents murdering his mother and wounding his father to the point he would never walk again, before escaping the village. Karida’s life was forever changed by this single night. Karida continued living in the village for several weeks until his father, crushed by guilt and regret for not being able to save his beloved wife, took his own life. Karida left the village swearing to find the ninja who killed his parents and get revenge for his family.
Karida traveled from village to village looking for information about the shinobi who killed his parents. He soon learned that it was a very tough world and in order to survive, he would have to break the rules. Karida stole, lied, and cheated all to survive in the cruel world that had stolen his parents from him. All the while, he tried to help anyone who was within his power to help. After two and a half years going from town to town on his own Karida had grown up immensely. He realized that the only way for him to avenge his parents was to become a shinobi and gain power he could use for the sake of his vengeance. After years away, Karida returns to the Village Hidden in the Leaves, and begins his journey to become a ninja and find the man who forever changed his life.
