Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

While he normally spent his days learning the various techniques that would help him to excel as a shinobi, Jinzo found himself one late afternoon with nothing to do and a lot of time on his hands. Not one for the cypher work, he had heard of various connected groups that pend their days breaking down and creating cyphers in order to make sure that konoha would never be caught unaware by an enemy who could outthink them. Especially concerning about what he was going to do for the afternoon, instead of running off to prepare some strange new meal as he normally did, he instead went to the library and grabbed a book from the shelf concerning the Fiero language. With Konoha having many cyphers, Jinzo knew that between the language of Fuego and Fiero, that there were some similarities, but actually being able to understand that a language was being spoken and speaking it to others were two different things. Even more so, comprehension would be key so that Jinzo didn't accidentally mistake one word for another. Getting a notebook and pencil from a nearby librarian, Jinzo got to work on learning the fundamentals to the language and then bridging the gap between what he knew of Fuego and what he wanted to learn in Fiero. He knew that it would ultimately take time but in due time he expected to have a much better grasp on the language and if his hopes were as high as the ceiling for him, one day he would learning the coveted Vulcan as well!

As always, Jinzo was never content to just learn something. No, he went a step beyond, every time. With the books in tow that he needed, he went to the back of the library and requested one of the many private rooms for study. With the room rented for a number of hours, he gathered scrap metal and wood that he found lying around. Sketching out his design, he wanted to create his own personal machine to help him not only learn Fiero but also any other language that he'd come across. From his sketches, he was looking at something akin to a typewriter but this machine would be far more than that. For one, most typewriters required that the user type in one base language. Jinzo could play around with a phonetic lettering and make more of a single use translator, but what Jinzo was going for was a machine that he could use to type out one bit of text and have the machine do the translating for him. Not quite a cheat sheet and not exactly a simultaneous translation device, Jinzo wanted to make it easier to do multiple times the work in a fraction of the time. With the hardest part of the machine being that he would need to program an entire codex into circuit boards and memory chips, it soon became very clear to Jinzo that this wouldn't be just a simple one and done project, so got as much done as he could within the library and opted to take the rest home. This device, this machine, was going to be some bigger and better than anybody else probably would have been able to pull off. Once he got home, Jinzo was able to truly put in an all nighter to really bring his creation to life. Going far beyond the form of the typewriter, what Jinzo instead found himself staring at was a semi-autonomous humanoid translation device. With just the right chakra inputs he could use it to speak words that would turn as many heads as he needed. Though he had intended to only create a teaching tool, what he had actually created was a device that could do so much more than that.
