Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Shoma seems to be learning a little more about the Sky Country as months passed. The Neophyte had shared with him a minor detail that would aid to add to the understanding of his next target, or so he thought at least. This man seemed to be wanted by both Sora and Suna. What he had been doing seems to be well known, but the Samurai has more interest in learning why. It is clear that there seems to be a purpose to his violence, but Shoma would not simply let those who might be innocent die in an undeserving manner.

A morning would come that Ava decides not to show by Shoma's bedside at the hospital and instead leaves a message to Guardian. Although she claims something important has come up, the swordsman wonders if she merely want to take a break from practice. Though he is concerned for her safety, he knows that she has a good understanding of the ways of Suna for she has survived with only some complain during Shoma time confined to a bed. The swordsman prepares himself a bag and dons civilian rags before heading to the market place. Once there, he purchases another set of clothing that would make him appear more like a merchant, and as he shops for something to resist the effects of fire, he inquires of future transportation of goods headed to Sky Country. To his displeasure, he learns of a caravan that has already left with a convoy nearly four hours before. Upon learning this, the Samurai rents a horse and sets out to there aid.

Dealings with passports and gate protocol holds him within the city for even longer, but he finds his way out of the city. Although wanting to rush, Shoma knows better than to push a horse to spirit for five to six hours at a time, so he trots at a slightly faster pace than normal. He counts himself fortunate to have a well trained horse that would maintain a steady pace, giving the Fire Native a chance to pray for the wellbeing of the those ahead of him. Also in this time, he prepares for combat to the fullest knowing not what to expect. Although he did not feel the same, he is always ready to fight if need be, ready to die if need be.

What the Samurai did not calculate correctly was the travel time of a large caravan, for it moves more slowly than one may think. Because of this, Shoma spots a caravan in the distance however, a dark cloud is forming over this group of travelers growing in width and length. Shoma pauses to look around and notices the other clouds in the sky seem much too different from this one, this before he then notices the panic of the groups convoy who knows something is wrong. The swordsman urges his horse to spirit, making haste in the direction of the growing chaos.

Whilst halfway there, rainfall begin over them. Shoma stops knowing what is to come next. He hops off of his horse and covers it in a flame retardant sheet, then himself in another. Taking toward the direction of rainfall alone, Shoma looks around at the surrounding dessert for the trap artist. No one seems to show while the rain falls with greater quantity. There seems to be nowhere to hind, yet Shoma is certain that the person doing this has to nearby. Gauging the wind, he draws his sword and begins to twirl it slowly at first, then rapidly picks up speed. He summons a funnel of wind which then picks up much sand. Shoma continues the motion, yet adds his own body movements to increased the size. 'Surely this will reveal his presence if he lies in wait in the sands.' And this would be logically sound and effective if this Gokan did bury himself lightly with sand, or if he cloaked himself in shinobi sorcery to make him invisible.

Instead, the culprit lies within the caravan. Disarray escalates as the bizarre and dangerous rain pours still, for the people of the traveling band have heard about this happening to others before them. Many choose their own direction to run to escape this two supernatural anomalies, but one persons running pattern would be dramatically different. Shoma would cease his spinning art upon see a man run out of the oily rainfall with far greater speed and balance than the others, all the while holding his hands together. The man turns to spot the samurai, giving a brief stare before changing his hand position and waving out a spark of fire toward the downpour. Here, Shoma would make use of the speed he was once famous for, shoulder charging the assumed Gokan's Fireball, intercepting what would be the spark of certai2n doom to the traveling crowd. Though the burst does cause injury to him, Shoma's flame retardant sheet saves him from being engulf in raging fire. Gokan seeing his failure makes another set of the same handseals but this time, the fire generated in his hands grows larger. However, as he draws back his left hand over his right shoulder to sweep the area in flame, Shoma disconnects his sheath to propel it at the murder. The sheath finds it mark, that being Gokan's left wrist, the effect causing the pyro-user to turn and curl over.

Not having the desire to over-extend himself by using greater speed, Shoma pulls out a mechanical device that he found months ago. Taking aim toward the leg of the assassin's he pulls the trigger twice, releasing two projectiles that too would find it's mark. This instrument succeeds in bring the man down to clutch his leg, while Shoma approaches him with haste. Shoma is fortunate to find that this opponent would not the most difficult to subdue with this 'Sparker' in hand. As he aims it at Gokan, he readies his sword. "You will answer for you crimes, in one fashion or another." When the swordsman finally reaches the 'Target', he stores away the Sparker but extends a blade to the throat of Gokan. With the hand used to put away the weapon, Shoma pulls out a syringe as he kneels beside the injured ninja, extending the item to him. You do not have to make this harder than..." Shoma would start, but his words would be interrupted by a backhand laced with burning fire, to the face from the man more vulnerable at this point. The blow itself would knock the samurai upward and staggering back, swatting his face to pat out possible flame with the hand that once held a syringe. The new location of the syringe would be on and in the chest of the Fire Starter, drained of the it's fluid. The murder attempts to cast a different jutsu this time, but fails to find the will to finish before the sedative takes swift effect. "Sleep well young one. There is much to discuss when you awaken." But What did the Samurai mean by this?
