General Description: Weighing in at seventy pounds, and four foot five inches Darasu stands at average height for his age. His shoulders are a bit broad, but that is due to his life of chores and servitude for the main house. He has a fair face, and a gentle expression often that comes with endearment. There is a small scar on the right side of his chin from falling down while training with his brother. his long black hair falls to about his shoulders, and his often loose and untied because of hyuuga traditions. Until he had earned genin rank, he is not allowed to braid it.
He is generally quite reserved socially, but once he is comfortable around a group he has no problem speaking his mind. He takes time to properly explain what he is thinking though, and believes that every word must be held to its definition. When confronted with a problem, Darasu would rather deal with it head on than beat around the bush or procrastinate with it.
Being well educated in a private manner, he is tactical and well thought out. He believes planning is important, and can be indecisive when surprised.
History: Born to both a main and branch member, life in his clan was not very glorious.His parents Kimaru and Apula Hyuuga were from different familes in the hyuuga clan, but ended up in the same academy class.
The father of Darasu came from a smaller, less known branch of the Hyuuga clan. They had little glory or fame, and mostly served as the scapegoats for the main branch. Many of those family members became successful after the rise of the eldest son, Apula. Apula was in the higher end of his graduating academy class, and the third in line of them to become chuunin. It did not take long for the young hyuuga to be offered a position in the anbu operations, and he became and enigma within his own clan, but still a validated member of the community. While he was working as an information specialist, he reunited with Kimaru his old class mate, and became to court her in a gentlemanly manner. Months later, the two were in love....
Kimaru came from the main branch of the Hyuuga family, and even as an academy student looked down on members of the branch clan as lesser beings. Although she was not highly skilled, her natural born arrogance made her believe she was meant for better than anything she could reach, and because of such never worked hard enough to attain her goals. She graduated average in her academy class, and became a medic nin after a few years as genin. Although she held the title of medic nin, she did not have a passion for it, and still failed to gain any type of success in the field. Her noble family members turned their noses up at her laziness, even though they had been much of the cause for her haughty nature. While tending to a patient in the Konohagakure hospital, she ran back into Apula Hyuuga and couldn't help but admire his rebellious nature and success in his own way. She became infatuated with his lifestyle, and soon fell in love....
The pair caused complications within the clan, because of the mixing of branches. Rather than raise Apula to the main branch, Kimaru was given the branch seal upon her forehead by her own father, and thus was lowered in status and shamed by the entire Clan. She didn't car though, because she was young, in love, and thought she knew it all.
The two lived happily within the village, and Apula moved from information department, to a branch of the anbu dealing in interrogation. This was about the same time that the pair had their first child, Tyr. Tyra was accepted with pride by both the branch, and main sects of the house Hyuuga, and they were excited to have an heir that might not be so foolish as their children. Two years later, the couple had a second son whom was Darasu.
Tyra and Darasu were trained in both ethics and combat at a young age, mostly by their grand mother on the main branch side. It was due to this, that they had a little more prestige than other members of the branch family. Tyra at a young age showed a finesse for analyses, where as Darasu showed a favor towards combat.
However, after advancing to head interrogator , Apula's position as an anbu began to take a toll on his psyche. Not only due to the malicious nature of the Hyuuga member using his kekkei genkai to torture for information, but also because of the information he received. Every week the man was flooded with more and more taboo information, and even the strongest mind would begin to bend after so much darkness. Although he tried to keep it under control, the darkness began to seep into the household in daily mannerisms.
Working hard was a forced habit for him without any other option, and he was the younger brother in the family so there was also that level obedience to learn. Even from a young age he was basically a slave to the main branch house hold, until he turned six years old then things took a change. His father became a missing nin for unknown reasons, and has had no information in the last four years gained about him. His mother remarried to a noble main branch member, but the two children stayed branch members. He now hopes to gain prestige in the shinobi world to return his name to any kind of honor, although the odds are heavily stacked against him.
It was when Darasu was eight years old, his father fled the village. Perhaps it was because of some dark day at work where he had simply learned too much, or perhaps because he feared for the safety of his family. What ever the cause, Apula left while both his sons were in the academy, and was never heard from again. Hunter nin were sent out after him, but lost the trail after a year, and assumed him dead.
Two years later, their mother remarried to a member of the main hyuuga line, causing even further confusion within the clans understanding of her intentions.
The two branch brothers now depended on each other more than ever, and trained harder when not taking classes at the academy. Tyra graduated at age 11, and joined a genin team showing high potential. Since they were now branch members living in a main sect household, they became servants to the other members, and learned hard work through toil and chore. This was a big part of their understanding that no matter what, they would always be at a handicap compared to their main branch counterparts.
Tyra has been away much since his graduation into chuunin in the last year, and Darasu has seen him only twice. Instead, the younger Hyuuga brother has focused on his own path to hopeful greatness, and restore his mockery of a name after his father's treachery.
