Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The tread through the desert had been eventful, to say the least. Despite still lacking answers to much of her questions she was content with the knowledge that a village was within sights. If there was anything that could calm her nerves from being out on her own, it was that she had a purpose here. There was something she had to get done, and that was to find any sign of relation. Though she had no idea how she was going to get started with that quest –she practically knew no one, having visited her relatives on rare occasions and even then, rarely did she bother much with them. They liked to talk shop quite a lot and it was the kind of talk she didn’t like getting involved with, because it meant persuasions towards career paths she’d long forgotten about considering.

It was a sad thought, still, that she didn’t even bother to strengthen familial bonds. In a time such as this, all she really could turn to was family. Although becoming a shinobi had it’s advantages with her current situation, she thought that if she’d gone and accepted her heirdom then perhaps she wouldn’t be worrying about how to find them.

Well if her village truly was no more…

Youko tried not to think of the implications. Tried not to think of the village to be at an end, to be honest. It was still a pretty fresh wound to have seen her whole life, almost quite literally, get swept up by the wind like a broom sweeping dust out the door. It was swiftly gone, disappearing into a million different fragments in the air.

She followed the general direction to where her previous companion had gone, finding the large stone gate soon enough. Her eyes trailed up the structure, marveling at the handiwork. It was certainly an entrance to a village. She took a step in and waited, balancing her weight on the front and back of her feet. Agitated and excited at the same time. For all she knew, this could be the starting point of a whole new life for her.

She tried not to think about giant sand monsters coming in and eating that this time.

Uri seemed to be everywhere in Sunagakure during his work days. From the expensive storefronts of the Desert Crown to the less modest, and normally treacherous depths of the Black Bazaar. Luckily Uri was respected by all for his workmanship and thus never threatened regardless of whose wall he was fixing, or structure he helped erect. The last time he had been to the gates he had seen an old friend from Mist and was called away from work. This time however he was in the guard's quarters sharing his usual tea and donuts, playing a round of cards, and losing. Due to the flesh-rending diamond maelstrom that raged over top the hidden village it was a rare feat for anyone to actually use the gates; most electing to stay at Soon's.

However the storm did have its off moments, allowing people to slip through, and even more recently the numerous Water Country refugees. An alert was sent out and all at the table dropped their respective hands, moving out to the main entrance.

"Captain, we have someone outside the gate."

The Gate Captain looked over to their resources chief, who was responsible for monitoring the storm, who in turn nodded.

"We have a window. Bring'em in."

The unlocking and opening of the ancient maw was a long arduous one. Stepping, Uri raised a hand to stop the order. While he didn't have the rank to officially do anything, he was known for have special enough talents, and the guardsmen respected his opinion, "Captain, if I may?"<i></i> The jounin nodded and waved his men to stand down. Uri walked up to the gate and rapped his knuckles against the massive slab. Of Takahashi make, created from their powerful forging methods and was a tough nut to crack. Uri's specialty manipulation of earth, but his mastery of energy allowed him to push his boundaries from time to time. Picking a spot in the steel, he pressed his bare palms against them, a dim glow emanating from his hands as he took hold of air, grasping at it as if it were a bed sheet. In one mighty gesture, he yanked downward and with it a rectangular section of the gate. Despite the maelstrom behaving, it was still twilight outside from the looming system. A mop of white hair stuck out of the newly created entrance and he soon spotted their newest arrival. A woman with flaming orange hair, and a worn traveler, as was anyone who braved Wind Country's inhospitable lands. A broad smile spread across his lips, he gestured with a nod of his head, "You should probably get in here. There are sand monsters out there!"<i></i> He said jokingly to encourage her movement inside.

Once through the makeshift portcullis, Uri would seal it back up in a similar manner, manipulating the tempered metal as if it were water. Sliding a pair of gloves back onto his bare hands, he turned, same bright smile that he had on before, "Welcome to Sunagakure! I'm Uri."<i></i> He reached into the worn brown leather jacket he wore and pulled out a box of blueberry pocky, offering the open end of the box to Youko, "Pocky? So what brings you to our neck of the metaphorical woods, stranger? "<i></i>
