Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Current Ninpocho Chronicles Time:

I Got Soul, but I'm not a Soldier~. [ PM2E ]

Oh, how could the sunlight be so terrible? The heat was already something that truly bothered the icy maiden, so why did the sun have to be extra terrible this morning? It was enough to make even the biggest of men sad. So there was no doubt that the young woman had been pouting, a frown etched onto her features only to be obscured by a pillow pressed tightly into her features. The night had been. . . one crazy big blur at this point. There was a lingering burn, a lingering ache, and a sensitivity to light that she just did not want to deal with at this point. However, she knew that she needed to get herself up and ready for the day. For a leader to be missing in action during important times was not necessarily a good thing. . . Nor would it be setting a very good example anywhere. Holding the puffy pillow close to her face, she would begin to slowly push herself up and press her back against the headboard. The bed was eerily empty, which meant that Souji must've been elsewhere doing uh. . . Souji things. Jeez, her brain really wasn't functioning well now, was it? It seemed, though, that Haru was pleased somewhere in the back of her head. She wasn't running her mouth or causing any kind of unwanted bodily reaction from her incessant squealing. Lovely. This was a silence that she could really deal with.

Swinging her legs over the side of the bed, she would slowly let the pillow drop away from her face and back onto the bed. She. . . did not want to move. Blegh. Was there a sick day that she could just up and take? No, no, no. Far too much to do. This was why there was coffee. Pushing herself up to a stand, she'd pace over to Souji's closet and grab one of his shirts, pulling it on over her head. Of course, it was a little bit too big for her body, but when all she wanted to do was be naked? That was a welcome thing. Especially where she made the shirt hang off of the shoulder where she had recently been scribed. Sheesh, could that thing hurt any more? If she were to touch it. . . Man, let's not think about that right now. Sifting further through his closet in a bleary manner, she'd grab onto some pants that she could tie tighter around her waist. Leaning back against the door frame to pull them on, she'd let out a small yawn now. The legs of the pants were longer than what she had anticipated, but that was to be expected. So she'd walk through the area with the pants awkwardly covering the tops of her feet and nearly getting caught up underneath of them.

Stopping in front of a mirror, she'd stare at herself for a moment, feeling her eyes burn from the non-blinking action. She absolutely could not go in today. Why? Her neck was trashed. Biting, bruises, and a cursed seal? She looked like she got- oh wait, she did. Bringing her hands up to cover her neck, she felt a red hue sprawl over her features. Momentarily she'd forget the pain only to recognize the excitement and the supposed shame that she probably should have been feeling. Ah well. Turning away from the mirror, she'd quickly push out of the room and to the kitchen. Hopefully Souji would be there...!

Early morning, Souji would always rise before the sun hit him. For a long time he contemplated, pondering and wondering what he would do. Brushing his hand through her hair, he would literally have to pry Haruka from his body to get out of the bed. Subsequently causing him to end up flailing and tumbling into the floor below. It was something that was to be expected. However, a quick perk up only his eyes would be seen peering up from the side of the bed, his bare body hidden away from Haruka as she slept... but it was a beautiful thing. Once his friend, had turned into his lover... but was it for a night? Would this be something that would last for a lifetime? Maybe... but there were alot of things to consider. But before he would get into that... an irking pain shooting up into his head. 'Ugh, Hangover.' the night was a blur but he remembered something over a boxing match type of endeavor lasting round after round. There was milk everywhere... maybe he had left some in the kitchen... How he would be chastised by his family if they caught these happenings.

Stepping down he would simple put on some shorts without anything else really, and began his short journey down the stairs. Though, before he would leave he found himself looking back through the doorway. His dreams becoming a reality of sorts and everything that he had done in his life finally beginning to pay off. He just had to reach out and take the things in life that he wanted. Check. Next was his guardianship. He wanted, and fully felt he deserved to be one of the Elite. Years dedicated from his life. He would make something of himself... and not a damn thing would stop him from becoming the man he wanted to be. A few short steps would turn into a kiss placed upon her forehead and then his trip down the stairs would finish the journey.

'Ugh., shaking his head he would look around and he finally saw.... the wreckage that had happened the night before. Came in like a wrecking ball... all he wanted was to... Wait thats not where this thought needed to go. Either way, he'd quickly clean up everything he immediately saw before moving to accomplish what he sought out to do for this morning. Coffee. Omelets. And Waffles. He had Tea in the wings just in case Haruka didnt want coffee. However, before he could fully finish... there she was. Standing in the doorway. As if she were looking for him. The look in her eyes. He knew it to be true... and the marking on her neck. His mark. They were connected through life force. The driving force of life. Chakra. Sealed withing her was his essence.

"Morning Ruka~", a bent finger egging her on to come forth, "I made some things for you, but I'm loving the clothes~ Hehe. Looks good on you.", his tongue flicking at the end of his sentence. Licking the air for a moment as he looked her up and down only continuing to coo her into coming closer. "Hungry~?" Hehe, what else was there to say... but it was definitively going to be better than yesterday. Life was quite beautiful.

Truthfully, the amount of sleep he was capable of getting that night had been dreadfully low because his psyche was disturbed all throughout the night. That was why he was up this early in the morning, sitting upright in his bed with both hands rubbing at his eyes after they were pierced with the rays of morning sunlight through his window. His pupils would suddenly glance towards the door of his room, someone else was here other than the normal residents. His head tilted slightly as he recognized the chakra signature as Haruka's but there was something different....why was souji's chakra mixed with hers? Sliding his body out of bed, he would let his feet calmly touch down on the floor before walking towards the kitchen. This was possibly one of the first times Haruka would get a glance at Oyochi without a shirt on..

She would witness his pale skin and could easily tell the boy's torso skeletal structure simply because he was smaller than he should have been for his age as well as weighed less. His right arm which was usually covered in his longer than normal kimono sleeve had various puncture evidences from syringe needles while straddling his shoulders and along his entire backside was a complicated sealing formula designed solely for Oyochi by the Yukata clan's shamans. It was what actually kept him physically active and capable of doing what he could do. Staring towards both Haruka and Souji, Oyochi would simply make a bold declaration...

"You two are nasty..."

Pressing a hand against her forehead, the long sleeved shirt would touch her forehead in place of her own flesh. Fingertips hidden, feet hidden. Too much clothing for one Haruka. However, she could make it work somehow, right? As she looked at him just slightly, she could feel an eerie blush slowly flowing to her face. Ah, what in the world? Why was she like this?! Biting onto her lower lip, she would drop her hand now and smooth her hair back, reaching down to play with the ends of her unusually long hair. With her strands winding around her fingers, she'd drop her gaze again as he addressed her further. "Neh, Souji," she'd mumble in embarrassment, then pushing her lower lip out into a pout. She might've been in a perpetual state of exhaustion and aching, but she couldn't help herself turn into a slushy little puddle before the boy. After all . . . Hadn't he been her very, very first? Right. He had been. However, no need to go shouting THAT much out to the world. Though, she did decide right then and there that she was taking that sick day. After all, it was very much necessary. Perhaps her assistant wouldn't get too lost in the fray. . . right? Padding her feet against the ground, she'd walk on over to the male now.

In a raspy voice that indicated a night of screaming and other strange noises coming from her throat, she'd speak: "It's not like any of my clothes are here. . . Hmf." She'd mutter then, bumping right on into him and leaning against his chest. Her hands would plant against his chest and she'd look up towards him, blue eyes locked on him now. "And my other ones are uh. . . in shambles on your floor. Couldn't you have been patient enough to properly unwrap your. . . ahem. . . present?" She'd ask, her nose finally catching the scent of the coffee in the air. Now that, ladies and gentlemen, was incredibly rejuvenating in itself. "And I'm star-. . ." Oh dear, that voice that piped up from behind them. Eeee. What did he hear?! What did Oyochi know!?

And then she realized that she didn't really care, nor did it bother her. God damn, where did her shame really run off to? Turning to look at Oyochi, she would lean back into Souji now, tilting her head. "And why, praytell, are we nasty?"

It was adorable how she looked in his clothing, how he would melt around her for days like this... it was something that he couldnt fathom honestly. Had he finally succeeded in something that would lead to a slew of things. Souji was prepared... he had been his whole life for this. He had been waiting for it. And if anything at all this moment was beginning to become more of his favorite than the night before. Just knowing that it wasnt all just some sick sadistic Genjutsu he had placed on himself. Which he had done in the past... Just to fool himself into a false world that he felt he would never have. Either way, watching her responses he couldnt help but smirk at everything, it seemed that he would be working things out in his head, but there were doubts that were always there. Was this just because she had a lapse in judgement? Maybe... Maybe this was because she was inside of his home. What happened when things became open?

Thats what Souji wanted... Marriage. Children. The whole thing, but could she have that being who she was to not just Iwa but the entirety of Earth Country? Shaking his head he would now see that she was leaning against him. Causing him to jump alittle not expecting her to clear the distance that fast. Though there was going to be doubts right? He wasnt going crazy... He was going to doubt alot of the things she could do because of who she was. Even though her mother was with whomever prior to her arriving as Daimyo... "Nasty? Oyochi... What do you know... and WHO TOLD YOU!?", shaking his head he would hold Haruka before whispering into her ear silently, "I'll wait till he's gone... but I want to talk.", nodding his grip on her was loose. Not to alarm her or anything, but he anted passionately to speak about this.

"Oyochi, you hungry? I made enough for you as well... everyone is gone right now to Arcadia for the next week or so... so its just me and you.", nodding he didnt know exactly why they had gone back to that place but he had no fond memories of it. Either way this was going to be fun, pressing against her a bit more he quite liked it... but he wasnt sittin there grinding... just holding unto her lightly... it was nice.

[ You've had enough time to post, Oyochi. I'm not being held up any longer. Sorry. ]

Haruka's blue-green eyes would blink once or twice as she listened to Souji freak out in the slightest of bits. Why did he actually care? People were going to figure it out sooner or later, right? Especially since she decided that she was going to keep this. . . whatever it was. . . afloat for everyone to notice or see. . . After all, in the way that she was raised to believe, even the slightest of touches intertwined people for the rest of their lives, let alone what they had done the night before. After all, one did not simply just make something a fleeting thing with the Demon-crazed Daimyo. That was simply just foolish, after all. Oh, whoops. That was certainly a 'Haru' fueled thought. "If anyone told him. . . I'm almost positive it would've been you right then and there." The woman murmured, listening to his whispers in her ear and she furrowed her brow. Talk about what? Now she was a bit anxious and curious. Squeezing one of her eyes shut, she'd attempt to quell that woozy and almost maddening feeling that wrenched at her gut. . . or maybe that was just the hangover that was pursuing after her?

Probably. At least she wasn't puking or anything. That'd be real bitch, right? Now what she needed was something to restore her stomach lining, which was currently missing in action. That was no fun. Pulling herself away, she'd go over and sit down carefully at the table, pressing her knees together and feeling that. . . odd pained sensation in a place she probably shouldn't have. Yeeesh. "Hope you made something really, really greasy. And lots and lots of coffee, as hot as it can be." A typical way to ask for her hot drinks from Miss Haruka.

HE DIDNT FREAK OUT! Geez, he just didnt want his little brother knowing that he was doing what he did with Haruka... not yet at least it wasnt something that he could just tell him just yet. Either way, it was a nice little scene they had for the moment. It seemed that everything was coming into grips but he still had alot on his mind when it came to Haruka. Alot of red tape that he wanted to get laid out on the table before anything moved forward or not. And it wasnt something that he could really... not say. He had to be open right? And with how everything was going he'd hope she'd be okay with it... but if not. He expected it. He wouldnt think in a million years that this thing would work. "...Oh hush...", but she was right. And she had a way of being right in these types of situations. Oh well... it was out in the open now. So why deny it? He could feel Haruka's chakra though, it felt different... looked different. Her very soul appeared to be different than before.

"As hot as I could get it and as greasy as you like it.", turning back to the food he'd made after she pulled herself away from him he'd seem to shrug everything off... Why should he worry about the affections of his night before be worry upon his mind, but he did question the seal on her neck, "How is your neck, Ruka?", tilting his head he'd wonder if there was anything else that he did under that drunken state he was in the night before. things that he normally wouldnt have done. It didnt seem like anything... it didnt seem like anything at all but he he had to question it. He had to be thorough, else he would not have the information he was looking for. And they would be stuck in a position that they didnt want to be in. "I believe I should examine that mark after we're done eating... sound good?", bringing her plate, which consisted of a bacon omelet topped with bacon smothered in bacon and topped with bacon along with her mug with him as he spoke. He'd not be eating, just a mug of his own. "Hmph...", he didnt know what to expect from this conversation but he was sitting next to her looking at her neck intently trying to make sure it wasnt putting a strain on her chakra system.

'You've gone and done it now Souji...'

Of course she was right. After all, she was a woman? Ouch, stop smacking me! Hehe, but no really. It was only right for the woman to be level-headed and diplomatic even in this kind of situation when her lover could not remain so~. After all, he was still working it off as was she. Rubbing her hands down her thighs, she'd let out a sall sigh there. She could feel bite marks all long the skin that didn't show. They went absolutely crazy last night, hadn't they? She had always been under the preconceived notion that the first time was meant to be gentle, but it was going to be very obvious that the two were not going to follow any kind of norms. . . As the plate and mug were placed down in front of her, she'd take a deep inhale before grabbing for the skin searingly hot coffee cup and she would begin drinking it down. Now, normally, people would screech and squeal that their mouths were being burned, but that was absolutely impossible here for her. "Mmm, great coffee." She'd speak between heavy gulps. Hehe, compliments to the chef, right? Placing the mug down, she'd look over at the male then for a few brief moments.

Her hand would then lift up and she'd pull away the collar of the shirt to show the mark to him. It was almost infected looking, and it looked red hot in comparison to the rest of her paled flesh. "I'm fine. I don't need to be babied." She'd mumble, picking up her fork now. "If it were to get infected, any bacteria would just die off because my blood is. . . cold. I have no clever words there for it. It's just cold." Like a glorified lizard, of course. "Otherwise, other than all the different versions of 'hung over' that I'm feeling, I'm great." She'd state, clearing her throat a bit as she began to press her fork down into the soft food before her, taking a bite. Delicious. He knew exactly what her tummy was looking for. Props to him.

"Maybe we should pay attention to your back more? After all, it probably looks like you were lashed or something." Oh bby scratchin' ur back. "I think I'd rather know how you're feeling this. . . uh, morning I guess." Was it morning? She wasn't very sure.

Shaking his head he knew he didnt want to have this conversation but it was imperative that it happened, he had to make sure he was open... and this wouldnt work because of what he was thinking, of course it wouldnt. She was the Daimyo, he was nothing. A Nobody. She had to make relations for treaties. For politics. She would never have time for this relationship. And thus, "....Nah, dont worry about me... We need to talk...", tilting his head and leaning back in his chair, running away in many ways. He had what he wanted, but he knew it would not be his with how the world worked. It did not matter if he loved her with all his heart, mind, body and soul. She was not his for the taking.

"Haruka, how is this going to work... Me and you... You are the Daimyo. You are a woman of our people and potentially a relationship would hinder a peaceful treaty with another country... Then what would everyone think... what would they think of us... of you... You come from royal blood. I'm not anyone... I'm no one that can help you the way you need...", spewing his heart a bit he didnt know how to stop before grabbing his head ruffling his own hair and beginning to lose himself a bit. He knew that this... was the end...

"I cant... I dont know Haruka..."

Kings throughout the ages have always been hungry. So what made it any different for any other ruler? Though, what she hungered for could be vastly different from day to day. Though, the odd looming in the area wasn't due to her. That much she knew at least. Leaning against her arm as she brought the fork with food attached to it's prongs, she'd listen to the male who was near as he spoke. An eye roll of oddly colorized eyes as she listened to his words. Was that fear? It'd be better to ask Maiya what that was that loomed in the air. Perhaps regret? Oh, whatever did she know? She was a pretty young woman with her head high up in the clouds. If only the empathetic younger sister were here to decode the air. Ah ah, well she'd live, right? It made a stirring twitch in her stomach and she'd lay the fork down gently against the table. Wrapping her arms around her midsection, she'd squeeze one eye shut now. She felt nauseated. What the hell was she hearing? She knew the immediate feeling that struck her other than the woozy sick feeling--- it was regret. The second that came was doubt. Then a third of mistrust as she lifted her head to look at him with her lips pressed together in an unamused line. All of these came together in a violently shaken cocktail that she didn't have the time to want to deal with. Still, though, there was no screaming in the back of her mind, but rather an eerie silence that threatened to drive her mad. It was a silence that allowed the words to bounce from wall from internal wall, but still, her face seemed more or less blank now as she tilted her head off to the side. What was she expected to feel? What would her people want her to feel?

Lifting her hands, she'd place her fingers against the table and she'd push herself up to a stand now. Any thing on the table now would frost over, frozen solid as she watched him. Why wasn't her Dark Passenger piping up? That was the worst part. Among feeling like she was expendable and that she couldn't trust the closest person to her, the thing that was literally the closest thing to her was simply ignoring the world around them. God damnit, and it felt like everything was laying the entirety of its weight down upon her lithe shoulders. Lifting her hands from the table, her eyes would not leave him for a moment. Her gaze was surprisingly smouldering. Twisting on her foot, she would then give him her back. Her face was still so eerily. . . complacent. It was odd to witness. However, there were no fireworks, no explosions, nothing. Lifting her hands up, she'd take a hold of her blonde strands of hair and she'd twist the hair around itself to keep it up in a make shift ponytail. And in silence, she'd walk towards the door of the kitchen and she'd pause there in the entry point, crossing her arms over her chest now. It seemed that the Daimyo was contemplating something. . . But she didn't give much away, now did she?

Looking up he would watch as the table shifted into ice completely freezing over. He knew she was angry... He knew. How was he supposed to act? Standing as she would stand in the doorway, he knew there wasnt much else to say, "...Haruka... Say something. Please.", it was then he knew everything was going down hill. Was she just going to leave, not say anything? Not do anything? Had he brayed her? He didnt know what to do. Though standing there... his hands clenched shut... not angrily but in such a way that he was anticipating the very worst to happen now. The absolute worse to happen.

It was.... terrible. What was he going to do? This was a strain on all three people involved.

OOC: Sorry, just cant get into this frame of mind.

Lifting her hands up now, she'd place them against the door frame. If one looked closely enough, they'd be able to notice the strange pattern that trailed down only one of her hands. There felt like there was something legitimately creeping up her throat now and she couldn't rip it away. There was a feeling lashing across her throat. . . It burned deep, but it was still cold to her flesh. Almost like how she'd imagine absolute zero to feel if it were scoring across her flesh. Closing her eyes, she could feel her head throbbing now and the nausea that threatened to rock her off of her very feet. Wavering the slightest of bits, she felt something in her chest. . . Almost like a clawing from the inside out. Wait. . . Wait a fucking minute. . . She knew this feeling. It wasn't a very nice one, either. It seemed that their little session from the night before hadn't been very keen on helping her control the nature of her beasts. The dead, the damned, and the demonic. On the ball of her foot, she'd whip around, nearly ripping the frame off of the door with her motion. Haruka wouldn't be speaking this time. Cracking her eyes open, she'd stare at the male now with a darkened golden gaze. Leave it to her to only let loose around two people that she could trust the most: They wouldn't spill their guts about her. "What? What the fuck do you want her to say?" Came a low growl from the very base of the woman's throat. "Well, Souji? Is this your sick and twisted game of getting her to grovel at your feet?" Haru would now step forward, bare feet almost dancing against the floor now as she stared him down.

"Here, let me. . ." Kneeling down in front of him, she'd smile up towards him, pointed canines now nearly spilling over her lower lip. It was not a kind nor playful smile. It was one full of malice, but leave it to the angry demonic presence to be capricious. Terminally so. "Oh, Souji, we can make it work," she'd begin in a soft pleading voice, "You're a God in my eyes. . ." Leaning forward, she'd touch her forehead against the ground, her nails digging deep into the material of the floor below. This only lasted for a second, however, before she would be standing once more in front of him, almost so close to where he would be able to feel her icy cold breath.

"Or have you forgotten that the Gods are DEAD to me?" The woman would shout now, resisting the feeling of lashing out. . . she'd wait. "So, who else is there?" She'd lift up her fingers, blowing an icy shroud over the index finger. "It's no wonder you got her drunk enough to fuck you, just to send her packing in the morning. . ." Now, she'd run her tongue along one of her canines. Maybe later she'd have to thank him for infusing that much more darkness into Haruka. . . thank him for giving her more of a gateway out.

"You know, I'm just dying to know who you're adding to the collection. . . ~" She'd drawl out, a smirk now on her features.

He could only stop and stare... her features all changed and something darker gripping within would take over... It would take everything within him to make it happen but as she would kneel before him, his mind began to race. Not in a way a male would normally take heed to the things that was going on. He knew this wasnt her... it was the being with that was there. In his mind and his own seal would react to this, his eyes warped on her. It was definitely something that he had always felt but he could never put his finger on. But now he was seeing it... everything that he thought he could protect her from... but... what was it? It was literally tied to her soul. If it was taken she would die. This was something that would be with her forever...

He could feel his seal pulsing as she stood back to her feet. Her words, literally causing the skin on his face to frost over lightly. It wasnt anything he wasnt used to. He had just laid with her... so, he had to 'know' right? Either way, taking a deep breath, calming himself and returning to the Souji that he himself to be, "Haruka... I love you. You know this. There is no list. It was my first time. And from how things happened... I can tell it was your's as well.", nodding he would roll his tongue across his lips preparing for his next statement. "Just understand, I dont want to stand in the way of you and what this country needs... Damn the Gods. Its about the people. Can they accept something like this?", tilting his head he'd lean in closer to her,the heat from his darkness rising a bit.

"Please... I'm sorry for dropping yet something else in your lap... but we have to talk about this now before this goes any further.", and that was fact... Could she handle him and the Daimyo position? "Can you promise that?"

Sharply, swiftly. . . Her hand would suddenly lash out towards him and attempt to slap harshly across his face. It didn't contain all of her force, but there was enough there to leave a welting bruise. She was incredibly angry, insulted. This was a shot at not only her integrity, but a questioning towards where she let her very feelings spill out. She couldn't believe that she had let her feelings out so easily and he was going to be so selfish as to tell her to re-evaluate them. What kind of man was he? Did he even understand what was going on here? She worked hard and she knew that she could handle. So, why would she come here to him in the middle of the night? Even as Haru, she was incredibly insulted to think that he wanted to turn this into some kind of one night stand. To turn the two mutual feelings that she and Haruka had shared into something that meant nothing more than a hello and a goodbye. She'd take a step backwards then, staring him down through narrowed eyes. "She can handle it, can you? You snivelling shit." She'd murmur quietly. It seemed that he had, in this entire process, gained a good amount of anger from the Demon herself.

Turning her back on him now, she'd turn to walk out. "Maybe you should sit down and think of that. The foundations of this country exist in even the slightest of touches intertwining two people for an eternity. Right now, I don't love you, but you're lucky that the host does." Turning her head slightly, she'd stare him down with malice dancing in her eyes. "If she didn't, you'd be dead and strung from all corners of this household for the Yukata to see." Reaching her finger tips up, she'd press them against her lips and blow a small kiss in his direction.

"Don't fuck up, kid. Oh, and thanks for giving me an easier way out."

A slap. One of the ultimate signs of disrespect. Full force or not Souji didn't take kindly to it. His face lit up with exposed rage, but he knew he couldn't... and he wouldnt. But he'd be damned. Did he not have the right to question his doubts? Did she not want him to be forefront with her? Oh well, she sealed that one... and it would those actions. Like it or not that would make this more rocky than it needed to be. Sighing and glaring her down as she spoke, not a motion would be made... but as she left he'd scoff, sitting down in the chair after evaporating her ice and drying off the table. "Hmph.", either way... things were going to be a bit testy from here on out. He now knew one thing... She could question him. He could not question her. And if that were the case... then so be it.

It would be a lonely road for them both... but for Souji... that was his life.
