Asuka was born within Kumogakure, though had moved into a smaller village near Kumogakure with her parents. Who, in turn, would choose to send her to the academy that was within cloud once she was of age, and should she actually choose to go there once she was old enough. As she had grown up, she chose to train after reading about Shinobi and had started her training after she had turned nine years old, in which she would also attend the academy within Kumogakure. She had studied hard, as well as trained hard, and soon learned that she had a talent for Taijutsu, especially with using a bow.

Soon after becoming eleven years old, she would soon graduate into Genin, in which she would also start training with a friend of her parents who would give her better training in Bow jutsu than most shinobi her parents knew. Asuka would quickly get the hang of them and would really excel in them as well.

Though after becoming Chuunin, she had decided to stay as such and not really pursue going onto Jounin quite yet. She was content with doing her duties alongside the other Shinobi and Kunoichi of Kumogakure, as well as her aunt, Oka Miri.

The different sorts of arrows that she had attempted to learn weren't really preferred to typical arrows one used while in battle.

Asuka would quickly get the hang of them and would really excel in them as well.

Enjoying the slower missions that she was sent on, she can say that aiming and leading her shots wasn't something that she absolutely hated. In fact, it was almost calming until the arrow hit its mark, watching it fly through the air before impaling a person or an animal it hit. It wouldn't entirely be often, but occasionally her shots wouldn't hit anything and either fly off further into the distance or even hitting a wall. She wasn't a perfect shot in the slightest, but she knew somewhat how to deal with things and whether or not to attempt to kill again or re-position herself. But just using the bow and arrow felt nice to her regardless.
