It wasn't until weeks after the event at the casino did Sashou realise that by even being a genin he was risking his body from being crippled or worse and ruining the chance of having a long a prosperous life. Something that he hadn't really thought about in years since he figured that he was nigh on invincible. Maybe something about the man shook him up, or maybe it was just the fact he couldn't even do anything to him. The tattoo wasn't helping, his weapons were apparently weak as anything and he was getting tired.
He was getting tired.
He was already tired.
Tired of fighting, tired of having to fight tough guys and weird demons. No more though. He'd rather smuggle goods and pickpockets and get rich by exploiting hookers and doing narcotics when you're not meant to use them and so much more. If that was a sure way to have a better lifestyle then he would. But he would have to disappear. He would have to die.
Or at least fake his own death. In front of a crowd while threatening to commit suicide. Which was the exact scenario he was in. For someone who liked to be in the shadows he was definitely in the limelight.
"I'll do it!" he called out to the crowd of people and the shinobi who were trying to stop him from jumping from the cliff. "Stay back or I'll jump right now! And it'll be everyone's fault here!" Inside he knew it would be fine but as they tried to get closer he turned around and looked down below to the sea below. It did look a little daunting but he couldn't be a shinobi anymore.
He sighed, thought about freedom and then...
