Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

This place looked wilder than he remembered. Truly, it had been a few years since he ever dared come out here on his own, but things sure grew fast. Where there were once a flat, grassy terrain, there was now a few vines and an exotic atmosphere as if he found himself in a jungle or elder forest. He slowly kneeled towards the earth and laid a hand on the vegetation, gently stroking it slightly. It was flattened… yes, something had been here very recently. It triggered his thirst for exploring in an instant, but he was caught in a dilemma of wanting to go further and keeping himself away from harm. Then again, given that he just got his headband, wasn’t he now considered a full-fledged shinobi? Wasn’t it suitable to test himself and go further every time?

The branches kept getting into his way as he advanced, but it felt refreshing to be on his own again. He knew that he would find himself back at home when the sun would set, and thus, he wouldn’t let this chance slip away. About the earlier footprint that he noticed, it looked to come from a middle-large animal of sorts given that the marks didn’t look like that of a human sandal. So, tracking down this animal would suit for his first, self-claimed test, and perhaps he would make himself ready for what awaited his genin status later. However, a branch soon got his thoughts elsewhere as he tripped on it on his way to wherever he was going, ultimately causing him to fall straight to the dirty shrubbery. He did want to get closer to nature, but not this close… there were limits…

Laying there, he felt as if life was trying to mock him, in which he gathered the will to get back up again. Wiping dirt from his face, he found himself in a new area from the previous one; an area that was more open…

Quiet. Something Tenma was both accustomed to and fond of. Sitting on the grassy floor of ancient forestation with a book in his hands, the young man was resting against a wizened tree while reading. It was an adventure novel written by some obscure writer which was a decent read so far; definitely different from the literature he normally visually consumed. This tree he leaned against was around the rim of an open area, though he himself was out of sight on the forest side. It was a sizable checkpoint within the large area and at the same time his particular location kept him away from getting involved with passersby. Unlike many his age, Tenma was more at home when he was alone in nature, or outside the village walls. Struggling day after day did that to a person, especially one so young. Besides, the chances of someone legitimately wanting to talk with him were quite small considering his appearance. And for those who were students at the same time he was.

Despite being antisocial, however, he was not against talking. In fact, he more than anything wanted to talk to people around his age, granted he had more fun talking with adults since many of them had a lot more to say about multitudinous amounts of subjects. Was that a bad thing? Tenma did not think so. These thoughts made the young man sigh and close his book. Lifting himself up off the ground with only his legs, Sage placed his book into one of the larger pouches around his waist and began walking out slowly into the open plot of grassy terrain with the intention of heading home. For some strange reason though, his gut was telling him that today was going to be irritating. That was... a reasonably rare feeling to get, but he did not stop moving even slightly. He only sighed.

The area only had a huge tree in the middle which made up the shrubbery. Around the area, bushes and vegetation functioned like some kind of wall to clearly mark the plain’s borders. At first sight, it looked like the perfect training place or park, because one could move around much more freely without a dozen of trees in the way, and the silence due to the vegetation walls made for a peaceful atmosphere. Despite having struggled to get here on his own, Honnou felt at ease when he walked into the plain, his sight embracing the air that blew gently across the grass. His hoodie had gotten over his head and covered most of his hair, and it also hid dirt that was still stuck to him. Now, as a little boy like him, what would kids do when they were alone out in the wild like this? If it was in the middle of the night, most would most likely call for someone else or get all anxious, and perhaps there was a possibility that some would just dazzle around like a fly without any sense of direction.

However, Honnou had already stored the road to this place from where he left the Saito resident within his developing mind, and thus he simply approached the large tree only to take a step back. He noticed a silhouette standing up and beginning to move away, so it turned out that he wasn’t alone.

“H-Hey, you!” he called out to the stranger with a more childish voice than usual, “What are you doing out here all by yourself?! You’re so far away from the village, and… and it can be dangerous if you strive on your own..!” Truth be told, he spoke like this on purpose; who was this strange-looking guy and how would he react to a kid?

Looking over the horizon, a meeting of two males, one who seemed to be around the female’s age, while the other looked like a tween. She was actually quite worried incase conflict arisen between the two, and she didn’t really want to see any disturbance in the forest. The less disturbances in the forest means more peace. More peace means less issues and less issues means more happiness for the animals that were nearby.

On a branch of a tree over the horizon, Minako continued to watch close-by, her hair sweeping along among the wind and her lower lip was bitten quite harshly. She didn’t want anything to happen.

Finally being able to sense some chakra, Minako decided to check up on their chakra, the older one seemed to… be irritated, but not irritated at the same time, which may explain why his chakra seemed to the stronger than the chakra belonging to the young boy, who seemed to be innocent, yet cheerful. Smiling softly and satisfied that nothing may happen after all, the female jumped down and tried to land on her feet. Unfortunately, her ungraceful body sucked in that retrospect and she landed on the floor on her stomach.

“OUCH OUCH OUCH!!!!” The female shouted. “MY GOSH THIS HURTS OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!!! GAH!!”
