Ziren has been thinking on this upcoming threat that looks over the Leaf for a bit. Now that he knows that they are the people that kidnapped Maki, and even moreso, wanting to destroy the Leaf, he himself, has to be prepared for doing his own part in ensuring the survival of the other people inside the Village.
Ever since he has heard of this threat, he has decided to stay away from the Valley of the End, mainly because that area is outside the Gates, and that is where the enemy is probably hiding too. No need to put himself at a disadvantage from the start before he even knows what he is up against. He has brought some materials from his business in order to make a weapon. Make a weapon that he would rather keep away from prying eyes for the moment. Maybe he is paranoid. Maybe he is following his gut feeling when it comes to when he was training to be an ANBU.
He has sent a letter out to someone who he thinks might be good to help him out. Before he set to work on making his weapon, Ziren sent a letter out, on it, he put:
