Healing Factor
It was the time she was injured that her body felt the most alive. See, whenever some sort of wound graced the delicate skin of her small body, she'd be able to peak into the inner workings of her body. She'd be able to see what she normally felt; the dark muscle fibers within her, disturbed at the newfound wound upon her. Thousands...millions, no billions of these small fibers squirming around within her, as if she were some maggot-infested corpse. But she wasn't a corpse, oh no; she was very much alive...perhaps even moreso than anyone around her.
See, these life fibers that composed her body were remarkably resilient; they consinously multiplied, grew, and stretched. She could litterally watch as a deep gash slowly began to heal as the fibers reached out to one another, pulling themselves back together. At times they would leave a scar behind; at othertime they wouldn't. Sometimes, this demented child would wound themselves simply to see whether a scar would stay behind.
As if flipping a coin to see whether it would fall upon heads or tails.
Hyperactive
You'd think that having a body that constantly repaired any wounds inflicted upon itself would become exhausting, or otherwise leave one drained of energy. The truth however, is that Kuroyuki experiences no such fatigue. Her body's physical condition is constantly repairing itself, drawing its power from the equally replenishing reserves of energy within the girl.
Whatever unholy magic was at work to constantly animate her body was pretty thorough; there seemed to be no physical weakpoint that expose itself, and her virtually indestructible body seemed to be entirely self sufficient as well. What were the secrets behind her power? Alas, a different topic for a different time...
Defensive Technique
For one who's body was nigh-immortal, she was remarkably adept at avoiding harm. After all, what doesn't kill her might make her stronger...but it would sure as hell hurt!
When in harms way, her body instinctively would work in reducing incoming harm; no, this wasn't simply flinching or blocking. It was more..unapparent than that. The fibers within her body reacted to harm, either on their own or by Kuroyuki's subconscious command, and worked to minimize any possible risk.
Is that sharp blade aiming to pierce her chest where her heart should be? Well, the fibers in her body would move her heart safely to her waist to avoid the painful impalement.
Someone's after her head? No worries; the stitchwork on her neck would rapidly undo itself, ensuring as few tendrils as possible would be severed by the attack.
Willpower
Upon meeting her, it would not take long for someone to realize that there was just something (or to be more precise, several somethings) off about the friendly little genin.
Even if she was polite, there was just something offputting about her. The truth was that there was several screws loose, if not outright missing within her mind.
She viewed the world differently, it was obvious from the things she did, the words she said, and the fantasies she thought. Her mind worked in a darker way than others did.
And when it came to mental manipulation, how could anyone hope to control that which they couldn't comprehend in the first place?
Clumsiness
To be honest, her work wasn't the most efficient. Was it because she, herself, had a body that was just so much different than others? She didn't exactly have the best understanding of where to hit others to make it hurt the most, but she never let that stop her; if at first you don't succeed, try, try again!
It may have been a curse to some, but to her, it was a blessing; her unique physiology made it that much difficult to put her down. Wounds that would normally cripple normal shinobi left her unphased...
...And her own lack of understanding of the body simply ensured that she'd have all the more time to play with her friends before they happened to pass out.
Strategist
Always look 30 seconds ahead. In battle, it is imperative for shinobi to plan their actions ahead of time and react to split second changes accordingly. Those who manage to master this useful skill often have an edge over those who lack it.
Kuroyuki was not one of those strategic types.
On the contrary, she was actually quite impulsive. Fortunately for her, it just so happened that the impulses that occasionally shot through her mind were the kind that made her really good at "messing around" with others at the most inopportune moments...at least, inopportune for them.
Note that "Messing around" tended to have much darker connotations in her case, given she was often waving around absurdly sharp scissors coated with venom, or laying traps with razor-edged fibers...
Poison Mastery
Poison. It was a curious little thing. There was all kinds of things that could be said about it; sneaky, shady, vile...
With adjectives such as those, it should be no surprise that little Kuroyuki found the idea of poison to be such a neat little toy. With a drop in their food here, or a quick little injection there, and she could watch people go through some of the most interesting reactions she had ever seen! And from her doing, too!
What may have started out as simple curiosity with a new toy quickly grew to become one of her favorite pieces of equipment. And the best part was that poisons came in all different shapes and sizes, ensuring that they wouldn't lose her interest any time soon.
Bloody Mess
Pictures! Coloring! Fingerpainting!
Snip. Snip.
Cut. Cut.
Every child had that naive spark of an artist in them, loving to create the scenes of their vast imagination. Many children often had a strong liking for cute, adorable little animals.
Naturally, "Kuroyuki" was no different from any other. She loved to paint, and she loved animals. So, it was only completely (un)natural that she loved to paint with animals as well. And no, they weren't the cheerful disney-type with their own paintbrushes painting with her, oh no no no.
They were the paint. And sometimes the paintbrush as well.
As for her artwork? It always was, well, a Bloody Mess.
Slashing style
Perhaps enhanced by her, err...artistic talent mentioned in the ability above, but the girl had a remarkable affinity for sharp objects. In her hands, even a only-slightly sharp weapon would managed to draw blood...She had a really good flick-of-the-wrist, so to say.
It was only natural that her interest in cutting eventually blossomed into a full-blown talent with weapons that were designed to cut, slash, and shred. Small knives became that much more dangerous when wielded by her. Thin ninja wires became invisible threads of death. But, most of all, Scissors had become her preferred method of cutting. Afterall, what scissors were like the symbol of cutting!
