Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Clarity
Constant vigilance was something that his parents always capitalized on with Yoruko. The poor boy was always kept on his toes by his parents whilst they trained. His father kept his Sharingan trained on the child at all times, forcing him to realize he was under Genjutsu at every given moment. The child failed at first, as all newcomers do. As a result, he struggled to succeed at what it was his father wished of him. Yoruko yet did not give up, forcing himself to become observant of whether he was under a genjutsu, or not. His father was soon under a constant stream of genjutsu as his son returned the genjutsu he cast back onto himself.

Illusionist
Despite the fact that Yoruko was good at reversing the genjutsu onto his father, the boy's skill with it was rather lacking. His father forced him to train his eyes to the point of exhaustion and often beyond. The training was never simple, always forcing his father to see something that wasn't there. A subtle difference in something within the environment. This was something that was difficult for the boy at first, but given time, he was able to change everything around his father. Everything underwent a subtle change if he were to stare into his son's Sharingan eyes. He was rather proud of his son.

Stalker
Yoruko's father wasn't finished with him yet, having yet another challenge for him. This time it was his mother that would be training him in the art of stealth. This was one of the jobs of a shinobi, becoming undetectable. His mother started simple on the boy. She soon became far more strict with him, with her sending kunai at whatever offending limb was sticking out. The kid did the best that he could at first, but learned at a fast pace as he didn't wish to become chopped pieces of meat. By the time his mother had finished training him, he was more than capable of utilizing the terrain around him quite well.

Enchanter
Yoruko's father had become quite impressed by his son's progress in Genjutsu. As a result, he felt that his son was ready to begin his training in the ways of the Genjutsu style passed down by his own father. The man taught him how to fluctuate his chakra into a specific manner by taking on the stance of his forefathers. This enabled the boy to create far more powerful illusions, which were much more difficult to avoid falling under. His son started off sloppy, not taking the correct posture but after a few attempts he began to take the stance without mistakes. As a result his chakra was more difficult to avoid, and so his father became ensnared by his son more often.

Duelist
Yoruko himself knew that he'd have to be able to focus more on his opponent, in a one on one bout. He knew that this was going to be difficult, so he asked his mother for help on this. This was because she was the Taijutsu expert between his two parents, and she gave him a wry smile before agreeing. The two were fighting in an intense manner, forcing the boy to use his eyes at their best. This training caused him to unlock his third tomoe for both eyes in the process. After many weeks of training between the two, he was quite capable of focusing on single person combat. Though one of the drawbacks was his vulnerability to other participants of the fight.

Initiative
His father and mother were both glad that their son was a quick learner, he wasn't quite finished with the Academy yet, but he was doing well. He was far beyond the average Academy student, having unlocked his Sharingan in the act of training. With his parents dedicated to his training, they pushed him further. They took him aside and trained him to act faster than his opponent, not slowing down time but genuine rapid movement. He was soon able to move as fast as his parents, whom were capable of moving at what looked like near light-speed. His parents impressed, they let him rest for a couple weeks before moving on with their next lesson.

Strategist
A few weeks had passed since they had trained him, allowing him to rest after all the training they had forced down his throat. Yoruko was now ready mind and body for more training with his parents. His father allowed his mother to take over for this instance. Rather than a physical training session, she was to teach him the importance of preparation. She instructed him in how he could prepare himself to take on enemies with differing types of equipment, even poisoning his gauntlets. This special training did not take long, and as a result he was keeping his mother on edge despite the fact she was taking it easy on him. She was always finding herself caught off guard by a chakra suppression seal. She had taught him well, it seemed.

Shattered Reality
His father returned from a mission, and seeing that his son had finished his training with his mother, Yoruko was to train in one final lesson of Genjutsu with his father. Excited, Yoruko was quite eager to learn from his father once more. His father without warning activated his Sharingan and forced them into the unending world of Tsukiyomi. In an instant it was shattered like glass and left a massive headache in it's wake, hurting the poor child's brain. Yoruko was to repeat this against his father, and fired off several genjutsu at his father and shattered all the illusions at once, causing his father to become light headed and land on the floor. "I'll say... You've certainly become something else, Yoruko." His father said, a soft smile on his face.

Shadow Element
Yoruko had been practicing his Ninjutsu with his mother, between times spend training his Taijutsu and Genjutsu. The boy had a natural talent for the two latter, but Ninjutsu was his weak spot for the most part. His parents thought he wouldn't be good at it, until... They discovered him utilizing a grand fireball jutsu. They had trained him in the way of the fire style, the style that all Uchiha had a talent for. Shortly after completing his mastery over fire style they began to teach him the water style. This was in part due to them wanting him to have no weaknesses. If he learned the water style then he would be better aware of it's strengths, that was their only thought process.

They could've never prepared themselves for what the boy was to do next. He had managed to take the two, and with his own natural stealthiness, combined them in to a darker form of jutsu. The light of the flame could is easy to put out with water, which brings darkness. Yoruko found himself working harder and harder at the varying kinds of fire and water jutsu, attempting to fuse them together to form some kind of super jutsu. Unfortunately the boy had little talent for mixing Ninjutsu but he seemed a natural for shadow jutsu which was the natural fusion between fire and water jutsu. The boy summoned a shadow out from beneath himself and used it to cloak himself from prying eyes, managing to sink into the darkness himself quite easily.

The boy seemed rather exhausted by this though, and fell to his knees. His parents had seen that he had managed a rather impressive feat and congratulated the boy- Fresh out of the academy and already tapping into a kekkei genkai? That was seemingly unheard of.

[spoilername="UnlearningRP"]Yoruko took time to focus on his most recent training regiment. Up until now, he had been focusing so heavily on Taijutsu that he had been neglecting to consider his Ninjutsu. As a result, He decided that now would be a good a time as any to take a break from attempting to use his metal knuckles in the style of a sword, and instead switch over to utilizing Ninjutsu. Eyes filled with determination Yoruko would then practice using his shadow style jutsu, which was more difficult as it was less practiced than the little fire jutsu he knew. While he was a powerful opponent, his repertoire of Ninjutsu was rather lacking. This in turn meant that he needed to strengthen his abilities with Taijutsu and Genjutsu to catch up with the lack in Ninjutsu. Against anyone whom he fought within the course of his missions he would train in the midst of combat, utilizing the Shadow jutsu and over time he would begin to force himself to alter reality with his Sharingan. By using his Sharingan to mold the ninjutsu into an illusion, they had a harder time dodging it as they believed that it would not impact them, as it was an illusion and nothing more. Within a few months Yoruko had discovered that though he was a natural at utilizing genjutsu to it's fullest, converting Ninjutsu techniques into psuedo illusions was incredibly difficult. At one point he had just about reached his limit of chakra, having trained himself very hard. He had noticed that a group of thugs had been waiting for him to finish training, before deciding to jump him. Likely they were looking to avenge a fallen comrades of theirs. Yoruko dispatched most of them without slowing down, however with only two of them remaining, he found himself panting, nearing dangerous levels of chakra exhaustion. He glared at the two, and flipped through hand signs, launching a shadow ninjutsu which thrust him into the shadows clean after killing one of them. Utilizing what prowess he had, he launched it a second time, his chakra coils straining with the effort as he finished the last one, neither of them having seen it coming. Thankfully, Sadako had come along and had helped him home, leaving before his parents could see them together.[/spoilername]

[spoilername="LearningRP"]Yoruko took a few minutes to inhale and exhale from his brief stint of training. For the longest time, he had been focusing on utilizing only what jutsu he could, not thinking to combine them. With age came power, and he grew stronger over the years as he began attempting to fuse his natural bloodline attack with a shadow jutsu that he had. It was a foolproof sort of tactic, bind them them in darkness, and then subsequently roast them with flames of an even darker shade. Yoruko attempted this against training dummies whenever he had the option, but it wasn't until he tried combining two of hte shadow jutsu he knew that he could really do some damage. It was difficult at first, but over time Yoruko has finally become able to combine jutsu more effectively even taijutsu techniques for maximum effect.[/spoilername]

[Unlearning Shinobi 101 - Taijutsu]
[Learning Shinobi 101 - Genjutsu (Shadow)]

[Learning Jutsu Creator]

Approved.

[spoilername="UnlearningRP"]Yoruko breathed in the air of the night sky around him, taking a moment to enjoy the brisk, chill air within Iwagakure. He hadn't yet made his way toward Konohagakure, being unaware of it's recent liberation. Judging from the place that had once been his home and the condition that it was in, it came as a bit of a surprise to him that the house was in such decrepit condition. He needed to find out how long he had been gone, a task that would be difficult to ask all things considered. His brows furrowed as he realized that this would take some time, but he was in no worry. All good things would come in time. He was assured of his destiny the moment he had awoken and subsequently been returned from the land of the Youkai. Clenching his fist, he knew that he would be forced to train the same way that others did now, no longer using Tsukuyomi to accelerate the training that he received from Guro and Ayume. He stepped out and glanced around the road, he rested his other hand on the strap holding his Gunbei on his back and began walking along side the road. He walked at an even pace, his other hand at his side as he began recalling the fight with Souji, and what went wrong.

Yoruko bobbed and weaved, dodging attacks from Souji as well as the two entities that he had summoned with difficulty. A snake was an abnormal creature to have to dodge, even worse was having to dodge two humanoids who were capable of, and fully willing to, utilize several high-level ninjutsu one after another. It didn't matter how fast he moved to attack, every time he did so he was punished with a strike by Souji's blade or the snake's fangs scratching along the length of his arm. Panting, he flashed through a plethora of hand-signs putting the Snake to sleep with a high-level genjutsu while subsequently glaring at the other, non-Souji humanoid putting him under a similar genjutsu. It was down to him and Souji now, until the other two broke free of his Genjutsu. Souji wasn't having any freebies being handed out to Yoruko however as he was rewarded with a sword slashing across his side, not his chest as the boy managed to twist out of the way.

'He's moving too quickly, my reaction times have slowed significantly...' Yoruko pulled his gloves tighter as he ran in for a flurry of blows, Souji dodging and parrying his blows as Yoruko found himself coming up just a little short. His attacks would come close before Souji avoided it and followed up with sending a knee into the red-head's gut, twisting around to kick him through a wall.

Yoruko stymied a growl as the unwanted reminder of his unsavory defeat flitted across his surface thoughts. He knew he had a lot of work to do before he could fight Souji and win again. This was his first task,
to find Souji and repay him for the crushing defeat he had been handed.[/spoilername]

[Learning Mind Overflow]
[spoilername="LearningRP"]In the same vein of thinking Yoruko realized that he needed to work on his Genjutsu abilities. He was pretty heftily dependent on it, though he had some other options if need be, however he knew that he had room for growth. Genjutsu was a powerful tool in the right hands and he knew he had the tools available, he just needed to find out how to apply them properly. He began to deconstruct the human anatomy in his mind. Before his extended leave he had been in the process of undergoing training to become a medic-nin, but more likely than not that was gone. He internally shrugged as he walked down the street and considered his options. Perhaps he could overload the brain with chakra, thus causing the brain to not brace for impact as his blows came. In any case he had a start.[/spoilername]

[Learning Elemental Illusion]
[spoilername="LearningRP"]Moving along from that though, he recalled something that Guro had suggested to him a while ago. The concept of Genjutsu is simple in that a shinobi only needed to insert their chakra into another, and send false messages to the brain to confuse and ensnare them. That was simple... But what would happen if the nature of the chakra was changed prior to sending it into the victim? With fire it would probably burn them and cause the brain to freak out if nothing else, he doubted few other genjutsu users tried it but it was an interesting thought. Water natured chakra... might cause an enemy to become sluggish in their movements? The possibilities were endless, he needed to experiment, and that meant he needed missions to get himself back into shape. He was ready to get back on the road of training.[/spoilername]
