Name: Inin
Age: 9
Gender: Male
Character's Physical Description: Inin is a short, skinny or some may refer to him as 'stretchy' little boy. He has blonde hair and blue eyes. The reason why they would refer, 'they' being school yard bullies, would be to show the contrast between his stupidly cute shortness (despite him being just below the average height for a boy his age). He wears a sleeves vest jacket which was hand-crafted for him and baggy quarter length shorts that cut off at the knee. In addition, he wears wooden sandals.
Character's Mental Description: He has the respectable mentality of a boy, a curious creature that is gentle, timid, scared and often easily distracted by the more glittery things in life. Although like every other shinobi in the current world, this is always a defining moment in their life.
History:
Inin has a happy upbringing, content with the lifestyle that his mother and father provided, but he really couldn't tell the difference between what was a bad upbringing compared to a good one. His mother and father both were of Iwa descent but were not natural born warriors like their brethren, nor were they fuelled by the thirst to achieve a state of teleos. They were crafters, labourers and kind hearted people. Often they would be contracted by their friend in the neighbouring village of Maruishi, Munesanzan. He was a retired educator and family friend, which disturbed a select few back home. Nevertheless, Inin's parents had over their friend from Maruishi often and celebrated with him on many occasions, although the disgust was apparent from the before mentioned few.
The boy, Inin, loved his grandfather Munesanzan; he had never known his real grandparents because they died at a young age, contracted by the Maruishi for jobs. So in time, the family friend with a long white snow-flake beard became a grandfather figure, bringing stories to the boy about foreign lands and powerful creatures of amazing powers. But the happy families wouldn't last for ever as a young Inin, at this point only 4, would be taken away from his home, his parents and beloved pet Chou. He would be told that home was no longer the place to be while mother and father were out on a job that would last, somewhere in the effect of "a really long time"...
He didn't understand, of course he wouldn't, but Munesanzan offered to take care of the boy. Inin went with his grandfather, upset and confused, but hopeful that he would see his mother and father one day again. His curiosity was always devilish, as was that of any child, but Munesanzan needed to offer up the boy a distraction and thus decided to admit the boy into the Iwa academy for shinobi. This was to prevent Inin from chasing the rabbit and learning of the truth behind his mother and father.
But the day is dawning, school has started and he is at the tender age of 9... Where is mother and father?
[Sorry, it's not how I would have wanted it to be! D:]
