Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

There was something about the Outer Village Zone that Kana liked. She can't put a finger on it, except... Quiet. Granted, she has her headphones to listen to music and drown out the presence of people around her. But it just makes her feel happier out here, where there are no noise of man around. Just the slight sound of wind as it blew softly. The Hyuuga often wondered if this was how it always has been. Despite whatever crazy history or things that happen at Leaf, the outside world, or at least the nature out here seems untouched.

Kana took off her headphones and took a deep breath in, the air... smells more fresh out here, if that was ever possible. Now don't get her wrong, there were people around that she can actually hang out with, those that don't judge her by her unique looks or her personality. Frankly she wouldn't blame them if at their first meetings, they thought of her as weird. But the fact remains that she is who she is because she couldn't stand to be a stiff follow all the rules girl that her parents want her to be. Because it was 'unbecoming' of a Hyuuga when there wasn't a whole lot of Hyuuga to begin with, make people have a bad perspective on the Hyuuga blood line. But living up to other people's standards was not Kana's thing. She wanted to be her own person. But with that said, she won't abandon her bloodline. No, she wants to be Kana before a Hyuuga. be able to use her own bloodline to make a statement. Society always has a weird way to look at things. People from famous Bloodlines like the Uchiha and the Hyuuga are expected to keep up a certain image, to not ruin societies perspective of the blloodline.

That was something Kana would want to tackle eventually when she is high enough rank for her voice to mean something. She... Didn't really know on her standpoint of ranks within he Village. She knew that generally, higher ups should be those respected by all, and she definitely respected two women that she met. Hikaru, the Medical Chief. Though she would have full rights to throttle Kana for being in the Forest of Death, throwing sass at her, even ignoring her when arguing with another kid, all while still being in the Forest, the most that ever happened was the woman challenging both of them to hit her all while she only dodged or throw up a barrier. As for the other woman, Soku, Kana can't help but want to follow in her footsteps. After their lesson about mythology, the Hyuuga girl learned about wanting to make writing a hobby. Not only that, but it helped remind her of why she wanted to become a ninja. Going back to what she had thought about earlier. Social reform. Change the way society thinks as a whole, the way people seem to pressure others to think a certain way. And from their talk, Kana can only guess the types of things Soku has gone through before she became a Sennin.

The Hyuuga stretched her body out and yawned before laying her back down on the soft grass. She looked up at the sky as birds flew around. They flew around mindlessly, enjoying the wind against their feathers. As they landed, rabbits hopped around, reminding of how she came to be a genin, with her own headband that she had decided to tie around her left arm. The Fourth Hokage made it a mission for all those that were participating in the exam to hide while he hunted them down. Little did they know that the Fourth would employ help. The girl never felt more helpless than that moment she and her teammates were surrounded by ANBU. But even when that happened, Kana felt a certain determination to not leave her team behind, even mastered the art of looking someone in the eyes and knowing what plan they are thinking of then and there. She couldn't do much back then, and is barely any better now. But she won't let that stop her from trying her best to be better.

One of her teammates, Shun, is now a good friend of hers. She was a bit embarrassed when she didn't recognize him at the exam, but rather after that. Her first impression of him was to call him Lover Boy when a girl was basically dragging him around, hand in hand, even when he tried to deny it. Even though he seems to just laugh it off now, Kana wouldn't help but keep up the running joke. She sighed, it has only been three years since she started her journey to become a ninja. She still has much to learn. Just passing the exam to become a Genin is only the first step.

She sat up. Listening to her music, she can't help but jam out to her tunes. Kana wants to think of herself almost like a free spirit. She wants to be carefree but that one person that people can go to, to just talk and pass time, ease their mind. not even having to talk all personally, but just talk to pass the time. Thankful that no one is around, Kana decides to let loose more than usual and dance around, which would be really embarrassing if someone was watching, especially since they can't really hear the music that she is listening to. That was another hobby that Kana would want to pick up. Make a band. One that a lot of people could relate to in terms of the lyrics.

Stopping, Kana went to her back pack and pulled out a water bottle to drink. She wondered which musical instrument would suit her. It would either be the guitar, or drums. Both seem right up her alley. The only problem? Finding people to make a band with. Yeah, she was a rock girl. She connected to the genre almost immediately after listening to a song of the genre. She had a lot of plans, some require her to talk with other people, one that she will eventually get better at as she grows older.

The young Hyuuga activated her Byakugan whilst still listening to her music. She wanted to suppress one of her main senses for detecting tings around her and see if she can still track things that were happening around her when she is only being dependent on her Byakugan. The birds... They took flight again away from the rabbits. The rabbits themselves hopped on to what looked like their little barrows hole. She can see the dew drops from grass blades and... "AH! BUGS!" She screamed as her Byakugan eyes caught sight of an ant hill with ants coming to and from. She deactivated her Byakugan, taking a deep breath. She never really liked the creepy crawlies all that much. Why do they have to be so... gross. The Hyuuga shuddered, but she took a deep breath. Eventually, she'll need to rid herself of her fear of bugs. "It's okay Kana, they're just bugs. Small, and can't harm you. Just... Focus on your Byakugan so you can be a better ninja." She told herself to try and not freak out.

Another deep breath... And the Byakugan was activated yet again. Kana figured the best way to focus even more would be to use her Byakugan while moving around in a fast way. Still, listening to her music, Kana started to dance again, but this time, try and focus on the things around her and take in all the details while dancing and spinning around. It was a hard thing to do, focus on two things. Her awareness that she's dancing, so she doesn't trip over her own feet. And using her Byakugan to pick up small details all around her while she is moving her whole body. In a sense, this would be the way to train in case she does have to fight. Get used to moving around while having the Byakugan active. She wondered if maintaining something of the like while straining the body was ever a challenge for others.

She went on like this for about ten minutes before she finally was starting to wear herself out from both maintaining her Byakugan and dancing around. Stopping, Kana decided to just enjoy the rest of the day watching the sun set. She finished drinking her water looking at the sun as it disappeared over the horizon. It was beautiful to say the least. She wondered if anyone ever took the time to enjoy the little things that life has to offer. Something that only nature can bring. She often wondered how a sunset would looked from the Hokage Rock, but pushed the thought out. As of right now, what with the tournament going on, she wouldn't want to deal with a whole lot of people that probably won't understand her or her attire.

Kana sat there for only a while longer to enjoy the slight breeze that would come in.
