Name: Ishikawa, Kichirou
Age: Eleven
Gender: Male
Sex: Male
Rank: Academy Student
General Description:
Kichirou is a child made from dull colors. The closest he comes to colorful is his eyes, and even those appear to most as closer to gray than green. Even disregarding his paleness, he's not the healthiest looking kid. He's scrawny, and he's got the beginning of shadows developing under his eyes, from lack of sleep. His clothing preference is rather simple and plain, with the only noteworthy element common amongst his clothing being long sleeves that he hide his hands away in.
He is a quiet sort of child, prone to silently watching the world around him, including other people. It's fairly common to find him staring to the point of awkwardness at an unfortunate person that catches his attention. He's rather shy in his own way and isn't all that used to other people or all that used to expressing himself. Besides that, Kichirou dislikes surprises and being startled. He drifts naturally to places with minimal noise.
History:
Ishikawa Tarou and his wife Misaki weren't in love, but they were partners, if not friends, and had been for a number years before Misaki's pregnancy. When Misaki died due to complications from the birth, she left behind a son, that being Kichirou, for Tarou to take care of. During Kichirou's early years, his primary caretaker was a nursemaid who had raised a number of her own children. She was a friendly woman, rather kind, and more often than not, Kichirou imagines that his mother would have been that kind of person as well. In his own way, Kichirou loved her. But as kind as she was, Kichirou was a job, not her own child. Once that job was done, Kichirou never really saw her again.
Tarou tried his best to be a good father, but it was always a role he found some degree of uncomfortableness with, and was always somewhat distant. When Kichirou took an interest in art, Tarou encouraged it, acquiring tools to assist Kichirou in pursuing the potential of becoming an artist. However, Tarou's recent untimely death left Kichirou in the care of Tarou's parents, neither of which were pleased by this turn of events. Kichirou was not looked kindly on by them. Misaki's unexpected pregnancy years into the marriage resulting in a child with little resemblance to Tarou had seemed quite suspicious to many, including Tarou's parents. Not wishing to raise this child that they didn't believe to be related to them, it was decided that it would be best for Kichirou to be enrolled in the Academy, after they realized it was an option.
