The Pearl Tenements, not what the outside world would exactly label as the ideal location for one to start an establishment at or allow any young family thrive or flourish. To the masses it would appear to be mere rows upon rows of slums and the only determination being shown by anyone in a place such as this came in the form of festering mischief and continuous revolt against Iwagakure's seat of power, the options of the remaining residents being slim to nil even if they even as much as attempted to be free from this cycle. A deeper look into their personal situations, their problems and their few hopes and dreams for whatever flicker of light there might be before an inevitable and grim conclusion for these people would be doubt have meant the world to them. To be noticed by the general public, finally to be worthy of an unbiased opinion that would at least place them above the accursed inhabitants of Arcadia. But to this day, the closest they would come to having a listening ear and a reason to be grateful was to be met with some support in the form of an academy student..
Granted, Yoshihisa didn't tend to think very highly of the situation he was put in if it came down to his visits of the Pearl Tenements, having many times over been subjugated to the hard underbelly of society and their rather 'colorful' views of what the people denying them a fair subvention to this day. But as the years had passed by and the studies at the academy had begun for the youngster, it became only harder to look past their situation, all there was for them to endure. For the very first time in his short life he had been unable to look at it from a point of view which kept the prejudices of Iwagakure so very much alive in the hearts of others, so much so that he queried whatever he exposed to all these years and it goes without question that there were years to come where little would change.
Compassion had proven to be key in reaching out to those in dire need of aid, those who sought out to be inquired about the recent political agenda and the ones who above all just were unable to go beyond a state were they were sulking about. At was only after braving the sneers, cold stares and pressing suspicion that Yoshihisa from their point of view was met with some of their shared sorrow born from the constant neglect, making it all the more difficult to be truthful whenever a certain question was raised: Did he feel obligated to right the wrongs? Perhaps, and perhaps it was his desire to protect this paper thin mutualism that made him turn his back on the most recent crime after realizing the motivation behind it, but not without making sure that the suspects were well informed before he decided to turn back to the embassy.
After all, hunting down starving peers wasn't something he could bring himself to yet, and hopefully never would..
