Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It had been a long time since Toraono Kuro and Senju Kazuki met for the very first time. Much had changed since that time. Kazuki had joined Suna's ranks as a Jounin, but had now been appointed their ANBU Sennin. Reaper had become, essentially, Kuro's Sennin counterpart. He had come a long way indeed. He had also joined Sunagakure as a fully fledged human, albeit with weird attributes, and had now discovered he was less than human. The Overlord was partly Ancient, curiously, the race that first dominated the Wind Country. Who could have figured a guy hailing from the Fire Country, would have such a relation with the Wind Country's top race? But changes in rank or blood, were not all. The Silvery Haired Man's clan had become brothers to the Toraono Clan, united forever in a contract of brotherhood. The White Wolf also had become close friends with the Steward and was, effectively, deeply embroiled in Suna's upcoming dreadful wars. It was a shame that his adoptive home was in the brink of annihilation just as Konohagakure had been. To a Daimyo to boot. It would seem death followed everywhere he went, but what could be expected of a possible death avatar?

The Toraono Warlord had called for the Senju Overlord. A meeting of the utmost importance the messenger said. A gathering that would certainly define the future of Sand. With such strong words, the Sennin knew he could not miss such reunion. In fact, he had some grave news of his own. Kazuki would roam the Toraono Dojo, the place that was also where the Senju Compound was, searching for the Kuro. This was certainly going to be an interesting meeting.

Three paths of Kuro walked into the antechambers to look upon the swift growing Senju Tree where Kazuki's special sap was already beginning to form. Kuro had been carefully re-designing the Toraono Clan banner to include House Miroku and House Senju in equal standing. It was an unprecedented union of abilities and skills, what made Kuro upset was that he needed their help far more than they seemingly needed him. Kuro was not used to being in need of help and it made him feel inadequate. He had sent messengers for Senju Kazuki and Miroku Akkuma. They had a great deal to discuss and even less time to train.

Akuma Kuro stood at six feet, two inches, weighing in at two hundred and sixty pounds. Kuro’s silver gray mane of hair had a reasonable amount of muscle mass to conceal. With a twenty one inch neck Kuro’s hair couldn’t conceal very much even as it cascaded to the center of his upper back. Violet eyes with gold slits peered from a chocolate brow with large ebony horns growing from where a normal man’s temples would be. He wore a sand tone obi around his thirty six inch waist. The obi allowed Kuro to carry his honor blade in a specialized bone sheath. Kuro wore his battle pouch on a second sash just above his right hip. Adjacent his sacred blade Kuro wore a pair of weapon holsters, and last but not least Kuro wore his leg sheath on the interior of his hakama just atop his fighting gi shorts with his ANBU serum and summon scrolls. A convenient cut in the silk cloth of his left hakama pants leg allowed Kuro full access to his ANBU gear without showing exactly where it was till he motioned to grab it. Securing his anbu arm guards and leggings Kuro covered the runic terran markings of his hand and leg wraps. Kuro’s tail swished back and forth its tiger stripes faintly surging with chakra. His black gi top opened to show his overly muscular upper body.

Sharingan Kuro stood at six feet, two inches, weighing in at two hundred and seventy pounds. Kuro’s silver gray braided hair allowed him to look quite dashing. With a twenty one inch neck Kuro’s hair couldn’t conceal very much even as it cascaded to the center of his upper back. Violet eyes with gold tomoe peered from a chocolate brow with large ebony horns growing from where a normal man’s temples would be. He wore a sand tone obi around his thirty six inch waist. The obi allowed Sharingan Kuro to carry his fire blade in a specialized bone sheath. Kuro wore his battle pouch on a second sash just above his right hip. Adjacent his fire blade Sharingan Kuro wore a pair of collapsed fuuma shuriken, and last but not least Kuro wore his leg sheath on the interior of his hakama just atop his fighting gi shorts with his ANBU serum and summon scrolls. He was all but an exact copy of the original Toraono Kuro, save his eyes and his weight.

Kyojin Kuro stood at seven feet and weighed in at four hundred and fifty pounds. He wore a sand camouflage pattern heavy armor made of Takahashi fire-forged steel with matte-black transformation seals allowing it to switch from desert colors to pitch black dependent on Kuro’s vocal command or four tap sonic patterned code along his right thigh plate. Kyojin Kuro wore a matching belt and sheath around his waist where he had sheathed a pair of blade attachments for his battle gauntlets. Kyojin Kuro wore his battle pouch atop the belt it was a simple lizard leather pouch but easily camouflaged by rubbing it with sand or crushed stone if ever necessary just above his right hip. Kyojin Kuro wore his leg sheath on the interior of his left armored thigh just atop his silk gi shorts. A convenient slot in the multi-folded steel of his left thigh armor allowed Kyojin Kuro full access to his items without showing exactly where it was till he motioned to grab it. Securing his Takahashi forged battle guards and lower leggings were Kyojin Kuro’s enhanced runic terran sealed leather wraps for his hands, forearms, shins and feet. Kyojin Kuro had wrapped his armored tail around his belt making it appear that Kuro wore a belt of armor resembling hand-sized reinforced double blades. Kyojin Kuro wore his mane of silver hair in tight war braids in ancient ceremonial fashion making his oxen horns much more pronounced but also making him look like a serious battle veteran, massive chakra gems implanted into his flesh and endoskeletal structure stood out on the back of his hands. The chakra gem in his left hand was emerald green with a spiral of a star in its center, if you looked at it closely and long enough one could see where it interfaced with the flesh and bone with tiny bio crystal circuits. The chakra gem in his right hand was ruby red with a six point star in its center, this one also interfaced with his flesh and bone with tiny bio crystal circuits. These carmot stones allowed Kyojin Kuro to dramatically pulse chakra throughout this body which was now one of the keys to his defensive capabilities. It also allowed him to control his metabolic rate at a degree he had never believed was possible. His dark flesh was runed with runic terran seals and tattoos. His horns looked as if they were part of his armor along with his gems but the discerning eye would know that they were part of this giant warrior's body.

The Warlord, The Guardian, The Defender all portions of Kuro's soul and psyche given physical form through his special alignment with all things. Kuro was a different type of sage but a master of his own skills and a dabbler in all skills. As such he knew well his limitations and with that forethought he knew exactly who to call upon to help him shatter his limitations. Kyojin Kuro would step forward and take a knee before his fellow Sennin and brother as Akuma Kuro spoke his mind for the first time in quite a long while. "Congratulations on your promotion Brother Kazuki, it seems you have learned a great deal about Sunagakure and yourself in your time here. I am happy that Suna has not been a waste of time for your efforts. Now down to the dire business that I called you about. I NEED YOUR HELP... First I need to locate FUU to jump start the Oracle program, last known location was with an ANBU that called himself 'Zombie'. Second I needed your help to realign Kyojin Kuro's body with a solar seal and lastly I will need to talk with you about Mikaboshi's latest actions and the folly of Mother Suna."

Akkuma informed Kuro's messengers he would be there, it would be a good time for him to show Kuro the new sigil for the clan. A Lotus Blossom with the Toraono Clan sigil, Oshiro Clan sigil within their independent petals. Within the centre of the blossom was the kanji for cursed, for every Miroku carried their own darkness. The two Houses the Miroku had allied themselves with at present, along with the allies tied to those houses. Standing at a massive 7'4ft high and weighing in at 380lbs of pure muscle he was a prime specimen of a half human and demon bastard. That muscular spear-like tip tailed flicked behind him with interest as he walked down the hallway to designated meeting area. The Dark Sage had come from the area if the Dojo designated to the Miroku Clan, soon their enclave would be complete. But we're always slowed such things down, many of his kin had been busy making preparations.

Arriving at the part of the Dojo that was designated to the Senju Clan, the demon had yet to meet any of their clan members and was interested in finding out who they were as a clan. That Crimson orb and its diamond-like counterpart taking in a tree that was no doubt a symbol of their house. Wondering what methods they used to keep such a plan alive, perhaps that would be something he could discuss with one of them over a few drinks sometime. They would feel him before he arrived that aura of malice and despair enveloping the area around him. Trying to work its way into the minds of those around him, a subconscious and uncontrollable physical reaction due to his genetics. Eyeing the three Kuro paths that stood here he would smile at his brother "Either something is wrong or you intend to introduce me to some new kin." he would say with a devilish grin. That ancient armour and its new sigils glistened in the light, various scrolls adorned the Sage along with a Scythe that was strapped to his back. Demonic energies ebbed from it due to the materials it had been crafted from, all these features coupled with those shark-like teeth and two large protruding horns he was a monstrous being to behold.

Even among the Toraono Kuro was among one of beings he had met that had come close to him in size and monstrous appearance. Given the powerful demonic energies that would now be permeating from this chamber it would be safe to assume even those in other chambers would feel the aura. "I hope you don't require me for long...there are a few matters that require my attention." he would say with that devilish grin, there was no need for him to say he had a few more prospect full candidates for his forces to interview. Though that could wait until he had at least heard why Kuro had requested him hear. Upon the demons hands were the Ancient Orochi Battle Gauntlets he had been gifted by Seika, fresh blood shining upon its spikes. Along with the poison that was imbued into the weapons, he had been busy dealing with a few people who had disapproved of his methods. They had mostly been gang members who had been moving against many of his agents within Suna's underworld. Now he had few rivals the majority of illicit dealings and trade would now only go unheeded with his clans Agents consent, ensuring he would soon know all the secrets that came with those who dealt in secrets.

There would also be a small scent of demonic blood but it was not his, the Demon Lord had just stopped to get himself a snack. Nothing had ever proven better then his demonic brethren, something about them appealed to his palate. Little did Akkuma know he was going to meet yet another Ancient or something akin to one. That long black and spiked hair hung over the red cloak and armour he wore, the massive scythe sat in his back as if it were a mere blade. To most he often looked like some Eldritch Warlord from stories of old. After all he was preparing to wage war, but the demon always enjoyed conflict it was something he yearned for. So used what he did best and sought out those that deserved his wrath. Now the Daimyo had gone and brought this beings wrath down on him by endangering his beloved, he cared little for their battle with Sunagakure. Akkuma had declared War on the Daimyo openly, now it was just a matter of time.

Kazuki was no short man, but he had just been joined by a foursome of giants. He felt like a Hobbit there. Specifically to two individuals. One of Kuro's paths, the one that had knelt before him, and the new guy that reeked of demon blood. They were all wearing armor of some kind and they all had massive frames. But unfortunately for them, despite Reaper's meager frame, compared to them at least, he could, quite probably, match their physical strength."" The Overlord was a sage, just like any of those present, and like most Sages, he had unparalleled knowledge about jutsus and most things humanity considered as knowledge. But as a Dark Sage, the White Wolf's pool of expertise also extended into things most people called forbidden, dark, and unholy. And so he had an easy time recognizing Toraono Kuro was a Rikkudo Sennin and Akkuma was a Dark Sage and had demon blood coursing through his veins. Second I needed your help to realign Kyojin Kuro's body with a solar seal and lastly I will need to talk with you about Mikaboshi's latest actions and the folly of Mother Suna." Kuro would tell him. The Silvery Haired Man would nod. "You should not be ashamed for needing help from others. We are not all powerful." Reaper would note as he motioned for the kneeling Kuro to stand up. There were no need for such formalities. But as he motioned for the guy to stand up, Kazuki would also tap him in the the shoulder.

The tap on the shoulder was no innocent though. The Overlord's hand had been engulfed in pitch black chakra. "That might sting a little." the Silvery Haired Man would declare. "And who might you be?" he questioned Akkuma. This guy was clearly dressed for war. Massive armor, more scrolls than Reaper would care to count and he was armed with a scythe. "A scythe? Curious." he thought. It was quite a coincidence. Kazuki's ultimate weapon was a scythe, but as an Avatar of Death, or perhaps Death itself, it was expected of him. So why would Akkuma select such a weapon?

Kyojin Kuro felt a portion of the soul shard of Kuro inside him lose approximately 10% of itself and while it was disconcerting it was not unexpected as some of his soul transferred to Kazuki and an altered seal of spiritual energy both light and shadow replaced the portion of his soul shard that had gone to Kazuki. With a smile instead of a grimace Kyojin Kuro accepted the cursed seal and the blessing that came with it. As Akuma Kuro introduced Miroku Akkuma to Senju Kazuki. "Brother Kazuki, allow me to introduce my brother in law and my second clan partner and by his standards battle rival Miroku Akkuma, he has been helping gather allies for the battle to come with the Daimyo. His reward in this endeavour is to be installed as Warlord and the underhand of whomever Suna replaces the Daimyo with. I had originally planned to wipe out the males of the Daimyo's family by right of Kanly the ancient decree of feuds between Great Houses and clans and then place the Daimyo's immortal head in a vault where we may rip secrets and knowledge from his mind for all eternity. However, with recent events and new discoveries I have decided his children male and female shall be allowed to live except his son Shouki. He is the one whom killed so many of our people and led the Cabal. His head shall be placed atop a target dummy and used for shuriken and blade training till time itself falls apart. His other son is apparently nothing more than a scholar and his daughter a figurehead to be married off at his convenience. Their actions by record have little to do with the father's war other than parlay so they shall be spared the wrath that is coming. In the meantime I wanted to get both your inputs on a combined clan banner representing all three of our clans. It is also long overdue that my brothers meet for my elder brothers have been sent off with the women of our clan to hidden safe houses all over the deserts vast till a proper finality with the Daimyo has been reached. Although Seika will be present for her wedding day which hopefully will mirror the wedding of the Daimyo's daughter to allow us to make a showing of power and commence the acts of Kanly and vendetta." <i></i>

Kuro would present the collapsed portion of his clan sigil with room on the right side for the soon to be known Senju sigil and room for the Miroku Clan sigil on the left all at even heights to show no clan lorded over the other upon a white banner to show union and piece. Kuro also had a second banner of crimson to be used for war.

"Brothers, I would great appreciate any input or designs to help or alter my plans for revenge, as I simply can't live by what I would consider normal standards anymore."<i></i>

Akkuma listened to his brother In-Laws words with a shark-like grin silently bowing to Kazuki as he was introduced. The Dark Sage waited until he had even finished talking about the banners before he spoke, that ominous gaze sliding to his kin first. "Kuro I should let you know...if I get my hands on him first. That mans soul will be mine." there was a finality to his words, Kuro would know he could not sway his brother. The demonic Warlord always gave fair warning to his kin, should he get to the Daimyo first. "I'm going to enjoy making him serve me...then when his use has worn out I'll devour his soul. I wonder how his will taste..." he would say in that cold voice of his, when he truly left his malice unchecked beings could usually sense he the end. That muscular tail weaved behind him with excitement at Kuro's talk of war how he would miss it when there was peace. Kuro recieved another seal and he couldn't help but wonder just how far his brother would take the seals. Akkuma certainly was interested in finding out though, soon he would be capable of covering any weakness he encountered against an opponent.

A crimson orb that burned as ferocious as hell itself and a diamond-like orb held Senju Kazuki in its ominous gaze. Before he flashed a shark-like grin to the man "It's a pleasure to meet a fellow Sage..." he would say before giving the man an appraising look. "I can already tell I'm going to like you." he would say with a devilish chuckle, Akkuma often cared little how people thought about him. Once someone had gained his interest he inserted himself into their lives, but by bit before they even knew what was coming. "Akkuma Head of the Miroku Clan, Warlord of the Cursed & Damned." he would say eager to get the introductions over with. There was something about this being before him, he couldn't put his finger in it. "May I ask what you are?" his keyword being what not who, he had already learned the mans name. But he did not know what he was something about the being enticed him so, he couldn't help but wonder what his soul would taste like. As he unconsciously took a few steps towards the being he licked his lips, with that action he froze.

With a sigh he took a step back "My apologies...with war so close my instincts are much stronger then they usually are. I can feel so many beings around me and yet I cannot sate my hunger. Soon that will not be a concern..." he would say with a shark-like grin. "I don't think I've ever met any Senju Clan members before...from where do you hail? Myself and most of those within my clan originate from Mist or the Outland wastes, however we have gained quite a few Sunan members since we have come here." then there was his beloved but talking about her would only further his excitement, the Daimyo and the Cabbal had forced the postponing of his marriage. They had threatened his kin and the one who he loved, now they had a monster waging war against them. Chaotic energies flowed from Akkuma as if he were a conduit for them, in truth he was.

"It seems I will have to update my own houses sigil once more any kin to the Toraono are kin to the Miroku." he would say in a warm tone that might shock the being, compared to what he had just seen from the demon. The Warlords gaze had lost most of its malice, in its place was warmth. "The sooner we get things underway the better...I intend to leave for this Event soon. Our enemies will no doubt try to make a move that garners distrust against us...fortunately my agent in Kumogakure should ensure they know the truth. Leave Ii Hissori to me...as an old comrade he will know I speak the truth." he would say to them before sighing. In truth the only thing that worried him was that he didn't know where the Daimyo would be, for all they knew he could be hiding out somewhere safe. But interrogation had been somewhat of a specialty of Akkuma's even when he was Heading the R&D department.

"Are there anymore clans your hiding up your sleeve before I alter the clan sigil once more?" he would ask with a devilish laugh, before continuing on. "I approve of the banner...though my own thoughts on my housesnwar sigil are a little different." he would say removing the scroll containing the new design. "Let me know what you think." he would say with that shark-like grin. Throwing the scroll so it unfurled as it rolled across the ground the design was revealed. Upon the scroll was a depiction of a massive demon and tiger-like being, around them stood various monstrous beings. On the right stood an army of men, some fleeing while others prepared to fight. "This is why it's special..." he placed a hand upon the scroll and passed chakra through the material. The images began to move as the men battled they fell one by one, their dead returning to fight for those that had killed them. Above the battle a shinigami loomed, slowly moving towards the two men leading the human army. The image of the shinigami would become the centre of the scroll as it approached the two humans. As it devoured their souls the image fell back to show the tiger and demon walking over the bodies of their foes.

"That piece was one of the finest things I've brought whilst being here I believe." he said with a devilish grin he had been glad he could find a Shinobi with the skill in Ink Jutsu to craft such an object. "Though I shall have to get another to account for the Oshiro Clan and the Senju Clan of course." he would say giving them that shark-like grin. How it would feel to hear the song of war once more, a chance to truly sate his bloodlust. Any who opposed him would fall, obstacles were something that only annoyed the demon. His gaze moved between them wondering what they thought of his sigil before his gaze stopped upon Kuro. "Unless you wish for us to all show the same sigil? Why do you worry anyway brother your clans sigil is yours, follow your heart. My people have unanimously agreed to go to war, we can not idly sit by and watch such acts against a shinobi village let alone our kin go unchallenged. Only once I've destroyed as many of them as I can get my hands on I'll be happy." he would say to his brother Akkuma had come to show off his art and see what his brother needed. The demon loved these talks of war, times of chaos such as this heightened his demonic instincts. In the chaos he would come out victor connected to all nations and on the cusp of making history.

Although Seika will be present for her wedding day which hopefully will mirror the wedding of the Daimyo's daughter to allow us to make a showing of power and commence the acts of Kanly and vendetta." Toraono Kuro spoke. In one big speech he introduced who Akkuma was, what he had to gain by allying himself with Sunagakure and what were Kuro's plans for the Daimyo. He ended by stating he needed input to modify his clan's banner to include the Miroku's and Senju's sigil and that his sister, Toraono Seika would soon to be wed to Miroku Akkuma. It was a lot to process, luckily the Overlord of the Senju clan was a fast thinker. In fact, the same rituals and experimentations that had elevated his body to its peak, had also did the same to his brain. "Simply add a crimson tree stabbed by a black blade. Nothing else is needed to represent the Senju Clan." Kazuki calmly told him. The Senju Clan had a simple sigil and nothing elaborated was needed. They were a simple clan, although they had a dark secret that few knew.

"It's a pleasure to meet a fellow Sage...I can already tell I'm going to like you." Akkuma noted. Reaper turned his black irised eyes to the Demon Lord. "Oh really?" he thought. If Akkuma expected an answer, he received none. "Akkuma Head of the Miroku Clan, Warlord of the Cursed & Damned. May I ask what you are?" the man questioned as he stepped forward and licked his lips. The White Wolf had lowered his gaze, apparently checking something on the floor. "I am Death and you will back away now." the Silvery Haired Man calmly declared as he raised his eyes once more to stare at the Miroku clan leader. The muscular man would immediately notice a difference. The ANBU Sennin's eyes were different. Before they were pitch black and now they were crimson red. It was clear sign that Kazuki's words had been a threat. After learning this guy also sought souls, the Overlord found himself with even more competition. Not only he had to contend with those two active Ancients, but there was also a sort of demon seeking them. Furthermore, the White Wolf had a special property that was like a dream come true to guys like Akkuma. Not only he had a soul, he also contained an Ancient's essence within him. But it was not all, over the years, the Silvery Haired Man had collected thousands of souls that now inhabited his body. He was like a buffet to soul seeking individuals.

Luckily, the Miroku leader realized what he was doing and so he immediately backed away. "My apologies...with war so close my instincts are much stronger then they usually are. I can feel so many beings around me and yet I cannot sate my hunger. Soon that will not be a concern...I don't think I've ever met any Senju Clan members before...from where do you hail? Myself and most of those within my clan originate from Mist or the Outland wastes, however we have gained quite a few Sunan members since we have come here." he apologized. Reaper would nod and accept the man's apology. With this tense situation defused, his eyes would gradually shift from red to their natural color. "We come from Leaf. But right now, we can be found practically everywhere in the world. Albeit, the bulk of the clan is inside Sunagakure's walls." he told him.

Kuro felt the tensions rise and ease but when one was dealing with Sages of Death one demon wolf, one enlightened being it was very easy to forget that their ideals might counteract eachother. With a release of breath he had not realized he was holding Kuro stood between the sages once more. "The primary facet and illicit tool needed to make all of this work is the blood of true royalty and right now Sunagakure only has one TRUE literally royal blooded Lord Mikaboshi. If his hand could be convinced to move in this matter we can secure the release of the Ancients used by the daimyo and maintain some kind of peace between Suna and the remaining Ancients and hybrids of Ancient blood or we will have a secondary war to deal with as well and though demons and their ilk are that natural antithesis of Ancients I believe we can all work together against threats greater than ourselves. There are monsters buried beneath these sands that even the Ancients have forgotten and the demons of old know to fear. Sandwyrms are like newborn cubs to the legendary beasts that will awaken in due time if the prophecies are to be believed. We must gather our strengths and remove as many weaknesses as we can find. Our first weakness to be removed are city walls. The dojo is a place of learning and hospitality not yet a fortress of redoubt. Sunagakure will need walls of great strength and majesty that extend to the depths beneath if we are to hold out against that which may come. I already have Akkuma's help, might I enlist the aid of the Senju Clan as well if they are not overtaxed by the needs of Sunagakure?"

Akkuma shuddered with delight at the Sages words how he would enjoy battling such a creature. The being accepted his apology in regards to losing control. Akkuma took note of the tree and black blade, he would be sure to add it.the dark was surprised by Kazuki's answer. It seemed that the Senju Clan was a lot like the Miroku, in the way it existed in most of the villages. "Surely between the three of us we can get some of his blood." he would say before looking towards Kuro as his brothe in law stepped between them. He nodded at the beings words and would give the two time to discuss what they needed to between themselves. They would get their armies he knew they could do it, all they needed was consistent motivation.

"Kuro I suggest you pick a candidate for Daimyo, I suggest someone related to the Toraono Clan. To secure the clans safety, perhaps someone from one of the other branches of your house." little did the demon know that his cousin Kyuji's child had grown into a prospect full candidate. "Otherwise ensure they are married to someone from your house, those are our two best options. Doing this will help us achieve the longevity of our peace, along with no doubt making my job as Warlord a lot easier...one of our kin would no doubt prove more willing to listen to my words. We'll need political control after we win this war." he would say even though he'd convinced everyone from beggars to kage's to listen to him and heed his word. So perhaps the new Daimyo would be no different.

I already have Akkuma's help, might I enlist the aid of the Senju Clan as well if they are not overtaxed by the needs of Sunagakure?"Toraono Kuro explained them their plan with greater detail this time. Kazuki was an attentive listener most of the time, but this time he took particular interest to the goals the Toraono Warlord had for Mikaboshi. Was the man mad or did he really did not know the Deep Court Lord that well? "You are probably not aware, but Mikaboshi approached Sousuke for a temporary truce. A deal has been made, ensuring no hostile actions will be taken between our parties until the Diamyo's threat has been taken care off. Said truce will be lifted once this is over though. Even now, I am certain he plots our demise. Mikaboshi's goal is simple and he has made it abundantly clear. His goal is the total extermination of humankind and the destruction of Sunagakure for its role in what happened to his Court. He feels he has a debt to collect, regardless if it were your ancestors that did him wrong, and he will collect it on us. You may try to reason with him, but I feel you have a very slim chance of persuading him. Mainly because you remind him of one his enemies, demons, just like Akkuma here. You would just piss him off." Kazuki shared with them, what he thought to be complete news.

In the mean time, the Demon Warlord also shared his thoughts about who the new Daimyo should be. "Kuro I suggest you pick a candidate for Daimyo, I suggest someone related to the Toraono Clan. To secure the clans safety, perhaps someone from one of the other branches of your house. Otherwise ensure they are married to someone from your house, those are our two best options. Doing this will help us achieve the longevity of our peace, along with no doubt making my job as Warlord a lot easier...one of our kin would no doubt prove more willing to listen to my words. We'll need political control after we win this war." The Overlord shook his head upon hearing those words. The guy's plan was logically sound, but it would just show the world a very bad image about the Toraono clan and its coalition. "If you do what he is suggesting, it will only give you a bad reputation in our country. It would show the Toraono clan went to war with the Daimyo, not because of that noble's evil regime but because they wanted to place someone of their choosing on the noble seat of the Wind Country. Maybe that is your goal." the White Wolf noted as he pointed toward Akkuma. "But I always thought you were only trying to save our village and country, not trying to usurp control and place a puppet on the throne. What will your peers think of that? What will Sousuke think of that? Now more than ever he needs his friends. Fighting the Daimyo is the right pick, something I have advocated to the Steward before. But going like this is going over Sousuke's head. You should include him in your plans. He might not agree with them, but he is our leader, and he deserves to be aware of actions that will may backlash against him."

"The Senju Clan stands ready to do their part in ensuring the safety of their new home. You know this Kuro, just share your plans." the Silvery Haired Man told him. His clan had a debt to pay, and they would pay it tenfold.

Kuro smirked at Kazuki's mention of Mikaboshi's truce. He settled them both down as he willed stone benches from the ground for everyone to sit like he was about to tell a campfire tale. His usage of earth was another elemental mastery he had yet to fully test out but he would in due. "As my brothers I will share with you my knowledge of Mikaboshi and why I asked Sousuke to release him from his binding within one of Sousuke's weapons. Mikaboshi is a being of honor and pride, his pride has been trampled upon by humans for centuries so yes he is owed quite a debt. What was not so long ago before the Cabal made their presence known Mikaboshi and I shared a blood ritual to repair the construct body he was inhabiting at the time. During that ritual as all blood rituals with demon kind go our spirits and minds were briefly in contact and although I freely communicated to show my sincerity and complete lack of any form of treachery Mikaboshi inherently would not and to this day I believe he could not be capable of the simplest of sharing simply because he was forged of darkness to rule. The pain and torment he did share was just a sliver of the humiliation he has suffered from being trapped with a soulblade. His very essence is a creation that relies on absolute control and to be lied to and betrayed in any fashion is a situation he cannot and will not ignore. I know him as few ever will despite his apparent changes and the taking of a true living body. Mikaboshi has done the unthinkable he has merged with a man. He can no longer be free of true emotion. He can no longer simply rely on his primal nature. He must now and truly adapt and realize the connections he has inadvertently forged. He is not bound by blood oath like me or my father but he is bound to Wind Country and thrice damned by who I suspect his host truly is. He can hate what has happened to him and his people for eternity but he will soon realize he can't punish humanity for the actions of their ancestors. Those he would smite are bone, resin, and spirit now. Worse still the only one capable of taking him to find even the remains of those whom actually betrayed him are the two sides of the coin he must relent to exist... Sousuke-sama and myself. Whether Mikaboshi truly understands what he has done in attaining his own freedom is still a question at heart but at the very least there are only three threats in this world that could actually mount any true resistance to him and if he has the allegiance and pact of blood with these self same beings he would find himself poised to take his rightful place in the world and end the eternal blood feud between man and ancient just as the Toraono Clan ended the feud between Suna and the demonbeast bloodlines of my ilk. Mikaboshi doesn't have to like men to rule over them, in fact it is better if he doesn't. In that steed he would only see what would be most efficient for true survival and step beyond the petty concerns of politicians, merchants, and crime lords. He would be able to see and grasp the vastness of the world in a way few of us could, except you Kazuki. I won't ask you to take these reins since my promise to you was to help you reclaim Leaf Country. That is ultimately where you must lead us if the North is to be reclaimed. As for my brother Akkuma, if we can reform Wind Country he can establish a force capable of helping you retake Leaf Country and then at last we can ultimately find a way to free his homeland of Mist Country." With his thoughts and knowledge open for debate Kuro unfurled the current plans he had for the city walls that he hoped the Senju Overlord would add some sort of insight or suggestion to. He would wait for both his brothers to speak upon what he had revealed before going over his first priority.

Akkuma listened intently to the two men who stood with him discussed their plans further. Kuro explained his plan whilst further explaining himself to Kazuki, the man impressed Akkuma with his knowledge of this land. Akkuma chuckled at the Senju's words he didn't doubt them one bit. He had found the Ancient to be a peculiar one, though his interaction with the being had been a hasty one. The demon decided that he would leave that being to his brother, not that the meeting had happened at the best of times for the Sage. There was something about Mikaboshi that made him want to engage in conflict with him, perhaps it was due to the demon being half-chaos demon while Mikaboshi was a being of Order. Or at least that was what he had garnered from Kuro's words, how complicated many of these sunans were. It absolutely delighted him they had so much potential, just waiting to be crafted and guided into its greatness. The dark sage couldn't wait to see what some of them would become, already he had seen so much growth from many of them.

When the demon revealed his thoughts on the Daimyo Kazuki shook his head, Akkuma raised a curious eyebrow as their ally spoke. The demon listened intently to his concerns in regards to the subject, when the Senju had finished speaking he nodded. He understood the foundations of the mans concerns and Kazuki did make a valid point. However Akkuma saw it differently "You make a good point, but could it not also be seen as a countermeasure? A necessary means to ensure we are not put in this position in the future." his words would calm and business-like manner before adding "Otherwise I should suffice as the Warlord of the Daimyo, at least then we shall get any word should the successor garner any desires to attempt to succeed where their predecessor failed. Then again I could always give them one of my binding seals..." with those last casual words would be understood by at least one of those around him. For Akkuma possessed seals that made him aware if the wielder broke their contract, more often then not that betrayal resulted in death. Next he would address his words about the Kazekage "Sousuke has been made aware of my intentions...I cannot say he agrees with all of my methods but he has agreed to let me continue on my current path. If he deems my plans suicidal or to risky for Sunagakure he will intervene. That I can accept and respect is his duty as Kazekage." he would say with a devilish grin. Sure Sousuke had agreed to allow him to continue with his plans, but Akkuma knew he was undoubtedly unnerved by his methods. No doubt he would notice the anbu keeping a closer eye on him since his meeting with the Steward. That didn't bother him though...hopefully he would be able to get close to at least one of them.

Kazuki had looked to Kuro and told him all that he required was to know the plans. Next Kuro elaborated on the plans for the villages new walls that would fortify it far greater then many of the other villages. In fact its design was rather magnificent though he did have a few plans, he was glad to know the ins and outs of the new design. It would mean he would know better how to get his kin to patrol the wall & monitor it. Taking a seat he listened to Kuro's words and wondered what he would do to find those who had done such a thing to him. 'I'd wipe their whole bloodline...' he thought deciding he might start to do a little me digging into this being. However he had little time now to think of such things as Kuro got to the part of where he wanted to help retake Leaf Country, then free his homeland from the Eldrich Horror infested frozen storm that had befallen it. If Akkuma had not known of the plans for retaking Fire Country there were no signs to reveal such. "Leaf can surely be reclaimed but as for Mist...we should try to leave that until after Fire Country. One conquest at a time shall we? Already I'm working on creating an alliance between Sunagakure, Kumogakure and Iwagakure. No doubt our enemy will try to make a move at this upcoming Event, if they do my plans with the other countries will undoubtedly be sealed. After Wind Country is stabilised and only once a trustworthy ruler is in place, will my forces proceed to Leaf. But I assure you that I shall utilise every asset at my disposal, including accessing the ties I have in the other villages & realms." he would say with a small smile, no doubt most of the other villages would sympathise. Mist had been lost to unnatural horrors and freakish weather. The little talk he had heard of Leaf had made it seem it no longer existed, for none of the talk had suggested the village was doing well. Little did the demon know they too had suffered at the hands of a Daimyo. Now Sand was under attack from a Daimyo as well, soon it would be time for the villages to unite and act.

Both of Akkuma's arms moved behind him as he looked down at the designs his brother was revealing, he would wait for Kazuki to provide his input before saying anything. In the meantime the demon built up cursed energies in his left hand and placed a Gaia seal on the palm of his right hand. His gaze never moved from the designs and there was no sign of pain. The Dark Sage was still in the middle of preparing for what was to come. Already he was coming up with a few ideas about the Gate but he would see what they had to say.

As for my brother Akkuma, if we can reform Wind Country he can establish a force capable of helping you retake Leaf Country and then at last we can ultimately find a way to free his homeland of Mist Country." Kuro revealed. As normal, Kazuki listened to every single word with great care, but he also picked up the most interesting bits out of the Toraono Warlord's speech. That Mikaboshi was apparently bound, by some mystical force, to the Wind Country and that he was unable to take vengeance on humanity as he intended. Kuro also explained why the Deep Court Lord was a good enough candidate for the future vacant Daimyo seat at the Wind Country. But what he said next was the most interesting to the Overlord. Apparently, the Warlord of the Toraono Clan believed the White Wolf was the best candidate for becoming the next Wind Daimyo. That was odd. The Silvery Haired Man was a foreigner and certainly not a noble. Are you saying you want me to take the mantle of the Wind Daimyo? Why? Reaper bluntly questioned the Rikkudo Sennin. There were, certainly, better places and moments to discuss this, but why waste time?

"You make a good point, but could it not also be seen as a countermeasure? A necessary means to ensure we are not put in this position in the future. Otherwise I should suffice as the Warlord of the Daimyo, at least then we shall get any word should the successor garner any desires to attempt to succeed where their predecessor failed. Then again I could always give them one of my binding seals..." Akkuma replied to Kazuki's accusation that he was just seeking power. The Overlord's eyes would once again shift to the Demon of the Miroku Clan. Although his expression remained completely neutral, the White Wolf was shocked with the man's choice of words. Was he just mirroring someone else's speech or was he speaking his own mind? "That is not how the world will view it. There is simply no chance in that. If you really believe in what you just said, and I mean all of it, then you are either a very naive demon, or a very foolish one. I sincerely hope you are the former, rather than the latter. Naivety can be shed away with time, but foolishness will follow your steps forever. You don't seem a fool, so I am certain you are simply naive." the Silvery Haired Man explained. Sure, he could understand the desire for power, in fact, the Senju Clan core traits were one big power thirst. The ANBU Sennin was as hungry for power as anyone of his clan, but still not so extremist as Akkuma seemed to be. This was a guy that was doomed to fall one day, and such fall would be catastrophic.

"Claiming Leaf will not be a simple task. We have samurai armies to contend with. A village that simply saps you from your chakra resource, making you unable to fight back. Unless you have a secondary resource pool, or find the way to the stop the Red Rain Kinjutsu, then any offensive is doomed from the start." Reaper shared with them. As a native to the Fire Country, he, better than most, knew the dangers that lurked there. He had lived through them. Any offensive would need extensive planning and Kazuki's presence, because might alone would not cut it.

"Walls are a bit of a double edged sword. On one hand they are useful defensive structures that can stave most armies from conquering our village, except for the most determined forces. On the other hand, they also represent a quick way to trap us. You remember the Cabal incursion right? After destroying the single entrance to Sunagakure, you were unable to leave or receive assistance from the outside world. This could have meant the complete destruction of Sand along its citizens, but luckily you prevailed. Now, maybe the correct path is still to construct massive and sturdy walls, with a single entrance. However, I advocate we also need to create numerous escape routes. These exit points cannot hinder the wall's primary function but must also allow a mass exodus if needed. But you also have to consider the fact walls would serve as a small deterrent to guys like us. Each and anyone of us have the necessary might to destroy a big portion of one wall, if not the an entire one. I am not a construction expert so this is the only advice you can get from me." the Overlord stated. When it came to construction, there was little he could do to help. He had his strengths, building was not one of them.

Kuro nodded to Kazuki's assessment and that was the obvious matter, ANBU needed to have extra exits for emergency usage. "You are absolutely correct in your assessment Kazuki-sama we need to have extra exits and control measures for these exits as in you can only exit through these emergency exits and only specific people should be able to use them to come in. As for becoming Wind Daimyo, you are one of the few people in Sunagakure whom hold the least vestige in it and the calculating nature to run a country with and without emotions. Neither I nor Akkuma can do that because our base natures will taint our decisions, we would be come somewhat predictable and easily played against ourselves. Now we come to the heart of the matter we can build exits keyed to the council and specific trusted personnel within Suna and the first group of people we should bind the gates to are our Kage, the ANBU Sennin, our ANBU Captains, myself, and the graduating rangers!"<i></i> Kuro quickly added 4 more exits one involving the repair and redirection of the Maw of Baranyx, one led through Undersea, the other two were above ground, one would be electromagnetically north and the other would be the opposing South. With the plans altered for special exits he placed it before his Sage King brothers again. It seemed that Kuro would one day truly revive the legends of old whether he meant to or not.

Akkuma smiled it seemed there would be no more concern about the Kazekage after what he had said, nor had anyone noticed his seal at least from what he had observed. So all in all things were going quite well, when Kuro said that he desired Kazuki to be the Daimyo. The demon gazed upon the man with an appraising look, it was true he could see the man ruling this country. From the way he had handled things so far, not too mention he was allied with Kuro which would help ensure the Toraono's future.

The demon raised an eyebrow and laughed "Really? I think my opinion might be shared by the other villages..." he would say with a warm grin, he wondered how much this man knew about the world. How much he had truly been involved with it, for he doubted the being could relate to many mortals. Maybe it was due to the nature of the being that made Akkuma think that. "Who knows opinion always seems to be divided...but at least I know it would be foolish for one to think they know how the World would react. Humanity is complex more often then not, I've found rarely do most people come to have the same opinion." he would say with a chuckle at the beings words, Akkuma associated with beings all over the world, more often then not he found they cared little for the goings on in the world. So long as it did not effect their own interests, for that was how humanity was. Each had their own dreams & fears more often then not the things they cared about, were much closer to home. Each something they would die for or do anything to protect, they were more like demons then any other being. Next he proceeded to say that claiming Fire Country would be no simple task.

Kazuki explained why Fire Country would not be an easy task, did he not understand that if they succeeded here they would be able to send in a variety of forces. Though the chakra draining red rain was an issue he would need to conduct some experiments before he approached that. Nonetheless if they could accomplish this feat, it would make the calamity at Mist seem less hopeless. The Senju proceeded to say he thought there should be multiple Exits, it would mean more patrols and guards stationed between them. In response Kuro made some adjustments to the design, while elaborating on his reasoning for wanting Kazuki to be Daimyo. The Dark Sage was not sure how the Sunans would feel about a being such as Kazuki reigning over them. If Kazuki did not like the idea of having someone tied to their clans take the role. Then surely he would disagree with someone not just tied to the clans, but a member of the villages hierarchy. 'From an Immortal who worships a made God to a being that claims he is death...let alone the fact he desires to free his homeland, a guarantee of more war for the people.' he thought to himself at least the Sunans wouldn't have to make much of a change in regards to leadership. "I recommend making a series of seals upon the wall, allowing those who posess a trigger seal to proceed through all exits. The seals could even be regularly adjusted to ensure that, those with key seals would need to update theirs as well. I'm sure we could even arrange a way to monitor each chakra signature that passes through it." after all he knew the Sunans had plenty of chakra receptive stone, if need be he would offer some of the last supplies the Miroku Clan had of that material but only if necessary.

Already he was thinking about seals for the gates guards that would allow entry through the massive structure. The seals could even be limited from specific access, restricting certain access or undocumented passage. Solely for those in the Upper heirachy of Sunagakure. Akkuma activated his Snapshot jutsu, taking note of the building designs and documenting every change they made. "Seals placed...here...here...here...here...and here." he would say pointing to spots in the design in between the multiple entrances. "Continue by placing receiving seals at the entrances, allowing those with Master seals to access the Exits remotely. Obviously something like that would be restricted to the Sennin & Kazekage only. Chakra stones imbued with the chakra's of your governing heirachy would ensure that even the replication of the seals would not allow access." such an act would be require complicated seal work, fortunately between the three shinobi present one would be hard pressed to find shinobi more capable then these beings in this room.

With a wave of his right hand a ripple of energy came with the movement before a portal opened up. Leaning into it the demon began to go through the various scrolls he had recently been working on. After a few minutes the upper half of his body leaned back out of the portal with a scroll in his left hand. Unfurling it he placed the scroll next to his brothers these seals should prove sufficient, if needed I should still have the designs somewhere for the Chakra Repository and its sensor seal somewhere. In truth he had intended to use these specific seals for his own enclave. But his people had made the decision that their Main Conclave should be mobile, much like its people. The estates they wanted would be secured yet open, they needed to seem less imposing yet easily defensible. Thus making these designs pointless at least for the clan, but perhaps his brother would find use for them. "If they are unneeded I can simply store them till they are required again." he would say with a warm grin, that portal stayed open beside him.

Should they look in they would see what appeared to be an endless space with various research materials, everything from stored body parts (and bodies), tomes, scrolls, flora & fauna specimens as far as the eye could see. Akkuma didn't sleep so he often occupied himself with research & studies, truth be told his interests included many subjects. The Demon desired to know about everything, it was one of his many goals. Though it was no secret he sought power, few were often right when it came to his reasons. He had seen the Evil of this world, twisted himself into the being he was today so he could attain what he needed. Doing so he had thrown away much of his humanity, what remained now was a shadow of the man he had once been. Now he was mislead by his nature and ruled by his Instincts, though he desired the same results. The half-demon cared little about what sacrifices he had and would make. All he could do was hope that it would be worth it in the end.

"Really? I think my opinion might be shared by the other villages...Who knows opinion always seems to be divided...but at least I know it would be foolish for one to think they know how the World would react. Humanity is complex more often then not, I've found rarely do most people come to have the same opinion." Akkuma would note. Once again, his words would force Kazuki to shook his head. "You are a demon. Half a demon at least. Your mind faces a constant duplicity, because your human side basically thinks differently than your demon side. Human nature will never be the same as a demon nature. Trust me, I have hunted enough you to know it. I, however, am not a priest for the church of the Universal Truth, and that means, I can be wrong. After all, I am still a fallible human. But I must insist, there may be a fraction of humans that may not condone and, in fact, encourage your plan, but the greatest portion will not. I have seen enough of the world to know this." the Overlord insisted. They were, apparently, defending opposed ideologies, and compromise, at it seemed, was impossible to achieve.

"You are absolutely correct in your assessment Kazuki-sama we need to have extra exits and control measures for these exits as in you can only exit through these emergency exits and only specific people should be able to use them to come in. Kuro would tell them, basically agreeing with the White Wolf's suggestion of adding extra exiting points to the future wall. But he also used the opportunity to explain why the Silvery Haired Man was the most appropriate guy to take the mantle of Wind Daimyo. Finishing by stating who should have special clearance to use those secret exists as entrance points as well. Reaper's original idea was not to have those spots used as entrances, but he could see the benefit. He also agreed with the list of people, although having the Medical Sennin, if there would be one, and of that he doubted, included would not be a bad thing. "Although I appreciate the honor of having my name proposed for such important position, I don't think that would work Kuro. Sunans and the people of the Wind Country would never accept a foreigner as the head of the country. In fact, I have drawn enough heat with my quick rise to prominence within the village of Sunagakure and because of my rise to Sousuke's inner circle. If I were to take such a seat, I would be easily despised just like our current Daimyo will be, once the truth is revealed. Just like the Fire Daimyo is by the shinobi population that once lived in the Fire Country." the ANBU Sennin explained them. That was a field filled with mines and Kazuki was not certain if he wanted to cross it.

"I recommend making a series of seals upon the wall, allowing those who posess a trigger seal to proceed through all exits. The seals could even be regularly adjusted to ensure that, those with key seals would need to update theirs as well. I'm sure we could even arrange a way to monitor each chakra signature that passes through it. Seals placed...here...here...here...here...and here. Continue by placing receiving seals at the entrances, allowing those with Master seals to access the Exits remotely. Obviously something like that would be restricted to the Sennin & Kazekage only. Chakra stones imbued with the chakra's of your governing heirachy would ensure that even the replication of the seals would not allow access." Akkuma suggested. Unfortunately, that went exactly in the opposite direction of Kazuki's original suggestion. He wanted those exits to serve as quick escape routes for the civilians, but if they followed the Miroku Lord's plan, then having them would be moot. "And how good would that be for the common folk? The sole reason I suggested those extra exists was for having numerous escape routes so the populace can quickly flee the village if we found ourselves unable to mount a proper defense. If we block them like so, then they would be doomed." he noted. Still, some measures of control needed to be placed there.

Kuro listened to Akkuma's and Kazuki's input generally impressed at both men's insights because as Kuro was despite his multi-faceted lifestyle he still had a singular point of view. It was always better to get another point of view. "Many Sunans actually have very little to no chakra control or any chakra usage but everyone has a specific energy, a blood type, a set handprint or ocular formation. We can key the exits to a great many things, only to use them as entrances would we need an advanced seal system. Here in the dojo we have a similar security system but the dojo itself is specifically keyed to my mother and father. Select compounds are seal, soul, spirit, blood, and energy keyed to clans. The entrance to your area Kazuki is keyed to me, you, and your apprentice and when you feel the need other members of your clan can be allowed to enter that special area without your presence or that of your apprentice. I may enter but even I have an established a perimeter that I may not cross so that your key structures are violated by no one. We can do the same with emergency exits/specialized entrances. I suggest we start tomorrow with your efforts, ANBU assistance, Toraono Clan, Miroku Clan and village engineers I believe we can have actual secure walls within a two weeks or less."<i></i>

Akkuma smiled that shark-like grin at the Senju's words saying due to his demonic nature he would always be in a state of duplicity, perhaps he didn't understand just how much humans and demons were alike. Kazuki proceeded by saying he had hunted enough of Akkuma's kin to know the two nature's were unalike and he laughed. Akkuma had devoured thousands of souls, he found the taste of his kin exquisite. The dark sage merely smiled then Kazuki continued to say he was a fallible human, then proceeded to say how he had travelled enough of the world to know that. Something else the demon found interesting because he too had travelled most of the world. But he would leave that debate for a later time, Kuro began to elaborate further on his thoughts for the structure and why he thought Kazuki was a good choice.

It seemed both Akkuma and Kazuki were in agreement that he would not make a suitable candidate. With Kazuki's rebuke the demons idea he laughed a cold sound. "If between the three Sennin and the Kazekage one of you cannot open the extra points then your hardly deserving of your positions." he would say bluntly an honest truth, Kuro alone possessed six paths. "If need be you could extend them to the Anbu Captains, but having too many people having access could prove dangerous. Also multiple exits won't help you if the enemy is truly after you." he would say with a shrug by himself Akkuma could infest a region with demonic activity. The site of demons even low level ones was enough to strike terror in civilians and cause chaos. It would be easy for someone to block all their exits if they wanted and harder for the village to maintain its security.

"Nonetheless you two should prove capable in finishing the design. You've done well brother...my kin will be ready send for Osagi." he would say placing a hand on his brothers shoulder in farewell. Before his gaze turned to Kazuki "Until next time Kazuki..." he'd say with a small tilt of his head before turning to depart, as he walked away he muttered "Human.." before letting out a devilish laugh, he highly doubted the being was human. 'Haha Kazuki a human...now that's a joke. That man is far too controlled to be anything like a human, the way he is...that aura. He's so much like that being...' he thought his mind raising the image of Mikaboshi, his body had almost driven him to fight that man as well. Something about them both made him want to tear them apart and see what they tasted like. Akkuma needed to learn more about both of the beings, as he left the chambers he had a devilish grin upon his face. 'This place doesn't disappoint.' he thought heading off to finish the last of his business before he departed for Soons Haven. His portal closing beside the two nin after he left the room, sealing of his research archives and general hoard.

"Human.." would be Akkuma parting words to Kazuki, as the demon left their company to attend other businesses. And it was about time too. Reaper had no love lost for that guy, sure he barely knew him, but the Miroku Lord gave him a bad vibe, and the White Wolf's instincts were usually correct. "Demon..." the Silvery Haired Man would mutter with a certain degree of scorn. There were demons and demons. In the Overlord's mind, Akkuma represented mostly the bad parts of the demon kind, but Toraono Kuro was the opposite. How could two half demons be so different? It was their human side doing it. "Kuro, I would like to have a private word with you. If you follow me please." the Occult Sennin would ask of his fellow Sennin. Assuming the Toraono Warlord would comply, Kazuki would take the nearest warp seal to the Senju Compound. He was not certain how long ago had the Rikkudo Sennin step inside the Senju's home, but if a lot of time had passed, then he would be surprised.

The compound had changed from its humble beginnings. A dozen of wooden built, albeit simple, houses surrounded a rather large fountain, six on each side. The fountains walls were made of stone mixed with wood and on its center, a very engorged bonsai could be seen. The Senju grounds were silent, except for the murmur of water. The Overlord would lead the Border Sennin toward a house that was far from the others, seemingly on top of a small hill. A sigil over the door bearing a black scythe marked the White Wolf's home. Behind house, but not belonging to it, stood the Senju's Sacred Tree. No longer a tiny seed, the tree had grown 3 meters tall and and sported a diameter of 75 centimeters. Perhaps it would be considered big in Sunan standards, but it was still very small compared to their original one. Just like any other house in the area, the Silvery Haired Man's house was a single story building, but unlike the others, it also had a basement, were Reaper's private laboratory could be found. It was there that he did things that could and should not be described or brought upon the public. But that was not their destination. Upon entering the house, Kuro would see a hallway, with several doors on each side. Reaper took the first one to the right. Once inside,a cozy room would reveal itself to the Warlord of the Toraono clan. The front wall was a massive wall that, somehow, showed the entire grounds. The walls on each side were fully covered by bookshelves, each one filled to the brim with books of different sizes and colors. The last one, the wall that also had the door, had a small bookshelf. In the center of the room, two comfy armchairs and a small table with a lamp in between waited them. The Occult Sennin would take the chair on the right, motioning for the Border Sennin to take the other. Or at least, one of his paths.

"I hope you have enjoyed the trip. But I did not come here to give you a tour. I needed to talk with you in private about a couple of subjects that are to our ears only." Kazuki started the conversation. "How much do you trust Miroku Akkuma? In a sense you are similar to him, but on the other hand, you are vastly different. With you, I know I can count on you, but that is not the impression he gives. Are you aware he is here just to gain and consolidate power? That he will certainly leave us dry once a better opportunity arises somewhere else? I will not hide from you that in a way, me and him are alike. We both seek power, just like any member of my clan does, and any of his, I suspect. But there is a big difference between the Miroku Clan and the Senju Clan, one that is critical. We have allied ourselves with Sunagakure, we are Sand's citizens know. We are loyal to it, even if, ultimately, we are still longing for Leaf. But they did not made themselves a part of Sand. They are merely allied to it. So I ask again, how deep goes your trust level with them? " the White Wolf questioned him, going straight to the question at hand.

"Me and my clan have a blood debt with you and your clan, just as we have with Takahaashi Sousuke. And I suspect it is a debt that will never be able to be payed in full. You showed complete trust in complete strangers, going as far as naming us your brothers. For that we are nothing but grateful. What did is a rare thing in this strange world we live in. It is time to repay that trust you have shown me with a revelation that would certainly shake the foundations of Sunagakure if it was brought into broad daylight. What I am about to tell is known by only one person at the moment, making you the second. Only Sousuke knows this, but it was such a recent discovery, it did not have the time to share it with anyone else. You know how we are currently facing two separate enemies. On one side we have the Daimyo and his cohorts, and on the other, we have Ancients. Since I have started to mingle with that race, I have noticed how I shared certain abilities with them. So I began digging and an answer was found. Just like you are not fully human, I am also not fully human. I am part Ancient, and I share traits with Mikaboshi, which means I am partly a Deep Court Ancient." Reaper revealed. How would Kuro react to it?

Kuro would sit in shock for a bit at Kazuki's lineage but not averse to it. He would also nod in appreciation at the Senju compound's workings and the growth of the tree, Kuro made sure not to bother the Senju clan as their ways were not only foreign but by Kazuki's explanations dangerous to all demon blooded. After Kazuki explained his reservations about Akkuma Kuro decided to explain himself as well. "Lord kazuki it is then, although being in any way related to Mikaboshi means that by Ancient standards you can literally strengthen one another by merely being in eachother's presence. It is about the same way for Akkuma and I but with a severe difference, my bloodline is that of demonbeasts, warbeasts of feline make that follow a code of ethics and battle tested honor for as long as we have existed. We were once bound by Ancients, then we were freed by the human Toraono Clan and in their hour of need our Prince was bound in human form to the last blood and then dying son of the Toraono Clan. That Prince is my father, and his brother was the king and I am that King's reincarnation in a partial manner as I cannot contain all his power in any one mortal vessel. We are what you would call devils, evil beings bound by honor because believe you me some of our habits are evil by human standards. Miroku Akkuma is not of a law bound blood, his foundation is from chaos demons, my antithesis in many ways but just as I am bound by honor, he is bound by blood. We have made oaths to eachother and by demon customs, blood, and spiritual ties we cannot betray eachother just as I would never betray you. Now as for your lineage, when you have time and if you can get Mikaboshi to come with us I would be honored to show you to places that were once fortresses for the Deep and Flame Courts so that Mikaboshi may reclaim his lands and you may find some of your heritage."<i></i>
